✓ Firmware update???I bought the tree and it wasn’t as full as I thought it would be but whatever. Then when I get it all set up and download the app it said I needed to update the firmware. ✓ Horrible AppI bought a Christmas tree with the intent of controlling the lights with the app. The app crashes during use. You can’t control the lighting features such as blink or random color switching with the app. If you change the color with the app during random color switching setting it stays on that color. The app needs more features to be exciting. Too bad. Disappointed. Would have rather bought a tree that wasn’t pre-lit and then bought my own light set. ✓ Needs bug fixes now!I bought the star light just for the ability to control and set timers on the app. After 1 day the lamp disappeared and anytime I can get it to reappear it disappears within seconds. ✓ App - Doesn’t Work WellFirst off I love this lamp. However, part of the appeal of buying this lamp is because of the app. On a weekly basis I have to uninstall and reinstall this app. Going to the app support and there is no support option for this app. It just takes you to Target help page. I tried contacting target via twitter and they stated I could return the lamp because they have no clue what the issue is and I am the only one that has the problem. Target please do better. ✓ Stone Age appThis app is horrible. Bought a new Christmas tree because it was supposed to be Bluetooth and controlled by the app. Not so. I can’t even get it to find the tree in my app. My husband can find it on his phone, but the only thing we can do is set an on off timer. And the color resets every time it turns on. We can’t get it to change the color at all anymore. When we first set it up we could control the colors with the app. That disappeared. Now we can just turn the lights on and off. That’s it. If you’re going to make a tree you can control with Bluetooth then make an app that’s compatible. Not a stupid lamp app that only turns it on and off. It feels like a huge waste of technology. ✓ Quite possibly the worst app from a major corporation, ever.Whomever oversaw the development of this app should be fired. We bought the tree hoping we could make it either clear or multi-colored lights. We cannot. Once you control it with the app, you can’t even change it back to the color changing fade. You can only pick a single color. So you have to go back to the tree and use the button to switch it back to the single color changing fade. The app is completely, absolutely worthless. ✓ This app is awfulAfter install of my light I downloaded the app expecting to enjoy my work and play with the settings only to find that it starts to connect and then disappears from the app. It only connects about half the time. Only once did I get it to connect and was able to change settings. I hit locked the settings while testing things and then the app wouldn’t let me unlock it so it’s stuck on one setting. ✓ So bad it sucked the Christmas Tree’s life force from it.After accepting the firmware update suggested by the app I now have a force ghost tree. It cycles in white lite going from off to bright. No more color, function, or app integration! And I can’t access the firmware without the app integration so the tree is broken. Pretty upset as it is a 400$ tree... ✓ Don’t download the app! It will ruin the lights!Just purchased this tree and I was so excited to get it as a floor model sale item. The tree was acting normally while it was on display at Target with the glowing LED lights changing seamlessly into each color. When I got home and plugged it in it was also changing into different colors just as it should. However... once I downloaded the app it all went to crap. WARNING: do not download the app!! App will say its downloading new firmware (but it won’t and will remain frozen for a long time). Then you’ll try and detect your tree from the app and the tee will revert to a blinking white light pattern and it will never be the same colorful display it once was : ( I am so disappointed. I’m holding out for a resolution through some emails and phone calls, but I am not afraid to return this tree 365 days from now, which as stated on the instructions is acceptable..Version: 1.4.0

✓ Modes DisappearIt worked great on day one! I loved the different color options and being able to turn the tree off from my phone, should I not be at home. However, it now does not worn at all! The mode disappears every time I try to “reboot” it. Then it tells me to make sure, I’m close enough, my blue tooth is on, and that the tree is plugged in. I can sit directly next to the tree and it cannot pick it up. This is super frustrating!.Version: 1.4.0
✓ Non functionalThis app was supposed to give me more controls over my Christmas tree lights including some better color modes than the standard ones the manual control has at the push of a button. However, this app simply does not function. Half of the time, the lamp simply vanishes from the control panel. I’m sitting five feet from the tree so I know I’m in range. It also tells me my Bluetooth is not connected, but my car and my headphones suggest this is not an issue with my phone. When I can control the lights (a whopping three times so far!), some colors don’t respond. Another time, the color changed once and then wouldn’t change to anything else. Finally, I can’t even rename the lamp. I get some poorly worded error message with bad capitalization. In today’s age of the Everyman app programmer, surely Target can fire whatever asinine developer made this app and hire someone who actually knows what they are doing..Version: 1.4.0
