✓ Fun but very frustratingThe game overall is great fun. If you like football, you will love this. The best part of the game is when you are in control of the ball. Making pinpoint passes to unlock a defence for a striker to slot it home or smashing it in the top corner from 30 yards out is enormously satisfying. But oh my this game is so frustrating at times. When your opponent is in control of the ball the defensive side of the game needs a total overhaul. The mechanism of trying to predict which defender to make a challenge is a complete shot in the dark most of the time and more often than not it’s more effective not to do anything. Any attacks that come down the wing mostly result in you conceding a penalty if you try to block a cross or a simple pass to a striker for a tap in. Even if your defenders have the strikers marked they are completely ineffective most of the time. Either moving out of the way of the pass or not even challenging for headers. Also if you do lose possession further up the field, your defence will be comically out of position where one simple long ball will be enough to put the opposition striker through one on one with your keeper. Good fun but defensive side of the game could do with a lot of improvement..Version: 1.82
✓ Good game but I have some ideas for improvementsThis is a fun game with a really good concept, there are a few frustrating things though. When you advance a league you should get a one time prize or box of cards so that you have a chance to upgrade your players, otherwise it takes forever to upgrade them and then it takes just as long to become competitive in higher leagues. When you go up the leagues quickly your players quickly fall behind and end up being 3-5 levels behind everyone else’s players and it’s impossible to win. Also some of the animations are a little strange and can end up hindering your play. PKs are a huge problem in this game, pretty much anytime there’s a tackle in the box it’s a PK. This isn’t fun for anyone. I also wish there was some more customization for your captain such as new hairstyles, new cleats, and even tattoos. You could put these in boxes or special boxes and would keep people interested, and you could add new things to the game besides players that create a power creep. It seems impossible to get super players, which isn’t entirely a bad thing, but I have 3 accounts 1 in arena 10, 1 in arena 9, and 1 in arena 7, and haven’t gotten a single super player. Anyways I think these could be huge improvements to the game wich would keep people interested and elevate this game..Version: 1.98
✓ Score Match pros and consReally good game its very addictive and I cant stop playing but I feel once you have a package opening and youve your goal package and free package are in 3 hours there should be something else to help give us players a reason to play say competitions more often or a constant league where you can join so your always competing for top spot and if you win you dont get as big of a reward as the competitions we have already but something of a silver package if you understand what im trying to say anf make the players stats more noticeable because my level 6 infiltrator should be able to get ahead of the level 3 guard when chasing down that through ball but yh overall a very good game and think about maybe shortening the time for packages that you earn and say maybe being able to earn specific packages so that if your looking for a formation the probability is much higher but if you don't get it there is a really low chance of getting the other key items like an option to trade probability up to a certain level as in boosting probability of a new kit while lowering that of a new player but very smart to eradicate exhibition matches now the arenas are evening out allowing players of lower levels to improve at an acceptable rate.Version: 1.74

✓ B r i l l i a n tNo doubt the game is sensational. I only ever play football games, I am not too sure why, but that’s how it goes for me. This one is the best you will find in my opinion. The FIFA official game is very good too, but not as good and as exciting as this. The game is very brainy, game play is cleverly constructed, and each player has their own identity on and off the ball which is good. I want to say it was faultless, but sadly, I can’t. It’s clever, very clever, but players frequently run into each other, and the ‘pass zone’ is often unbecoming. You do have to be patient when enjoying this game too, levelling up your players and moving up arcades does take some time. It’s a 10/10 game, absolutely, a few adjustments could make this something very special. I personally would like to see more replays, any way to encourage the competitive spirit would be a great addition to this marvellous piece of software! Be right back, off to play Score! ✓ I’m not playing again till the game stops cheatingAbsolutely loved the game even to the point of me getting the gold pass. I stopped enjoying when for example, I had a better team on paper(stats wise 7 and 8 rated players) they would have 5 and 6s all over , I would be on a win streak of five they would be on none. It would get to playing the game, bare in mind that I am 500 trophies higher, my players would be slower than his , give terrible options, dribble too much! I would lose the game because it seems the stats are boosted for a player with a less win streak, I know other people who have this problem and I have seen on social media many people who think the same. ✓ Stay in lower leagues!Update: No longer logs in if you skip fb connection. Been a few updates but no fix. Dustbin time. A good game but terrible once you enter higher leagues as the expense vs payoff are poor. special events cost far to much and you are matched against much higher opponents. either ignore events once in division 7 until division 10, or stay in division 6 and enjoy them and the better prizes. i'm division 8 and losing interest..Version: 1.93

✓ Brilliant - if a little unbalancedI spend a good amount of time playing this game. It’s fun, rewards play and doesn’t restrict how much you can play with purchases or ‘energy’ like other games which is great. Recent updates have meant the leagues are a lot fairer as you have to progress if you win, meaning better teams promote and don’t just dominate easier opposition. However this concept is flawed. Due to the size of the leagues (in terms of star requirements) I am stuck. I’m promoting from 7 only to get immediately relegated from 8 as much stronger players beat me consistently. Obviously this will even out in time, but it would be much better to have more leagues with smaller star ranges so you consistently play against similar standard teams. For example, league 8 has a range of about 500 stars so you can get teams with all level 8 players against me and my level 5 and 6s, which I’m very unlikely to beat. ✓ In-Game BalanceThis game is almost exactly what I want from a mobile football game. Freedom of formation, rewards for quality play and intense moments between myself and other players, culminates to create a thrilling experience you may not receive from your average game. It’s almost perfect - except for one thing. I’ve reached the ‘Elite’ stage with a level 6 captain and level 5 players and yes, I love my team but unfortunately, the game just isn’t as fun when I’m faced against a level 9 player with stats that outweigh mine, particularly during corners which is basically a free goal. I was pleased with the update that ensured you couldn’t play in any league below your current level, but as much as it was an excellent idea - I’m still being paired against teams with stats that far outweigh my own. I would suggest that my level 6 team should only be paired against other level 6 teams, allowing for balanced, fair gameplay. If this were the case, I’m sure I would love this game so much more. ✓ Great game but ...Quite addicted to this game. If you like football, this is nice game play! However a few things are annoying - very frequently losing players will abort the game, making you wait 20 seconds to log your win and get your winnings. This is highly annoying. There should be a penalty for such behaviour in the system. Also even more annoyingly this tends to happen when you are about to score a goal and there is nothing the opponent can do about it. The game play should continue until the opponent has a chance to do something before logging their abort attempts. - be ready to have a string of defeats every now and then. Suspect this is in the algorithm to encourage you to spend money. Out of nowhere you will find that your players are doing silly things and allowing goals, or missing tackles or giving away penalties etc. Can live with this, as you are either one of those who spend money or one who doesn’t! ✓ Good with PotentialGame is great, very addicting and a reasonable level of progression. Sometimes you can be screwed over by your players being ridiculously stupid no matter their ‘response’ stat. The matchmaking for tournaments can be very ridiculous, and for ones that you only need one loss to be kicked out, matching with a player who’s maxed out is just ridiculous for the rate at which you gather your gems. One suggestion I have is the packages. Instead of having to be manually opened, can they open automatically one after the other. So one will take 4 hours to open, and then as soon as that’s done the next package will open by itself until they’ve all opened. So when you wake up in the morning you can open your packages that have been opened. Really good job though..Version: 1.80

✓ An incredibly good game but...I have played this game daily for well over a year now, notching up nearly 3000 games and managed to reach the infinity league without spending a penny. The game is fun, intense, realistic and even enthralling at times but after all the time I have invested, I have now seen through some of the elements of the game which mean you are never completely in control... Firstly, the AI decides so many things: if your player will tackle or be tackled (no matter how you respond at times), whether a foul is given or not and most importantly everything your goalkeeper does. This is one of the games biggest flaws, as sometimes your goal keeper will run from his goal and completely give a goal away or not stop quite a simple shot. Also, why the two goal maximum? I have never shared a result, because there is no grounds to brag a 2-0 victory, which is the best which can be achieved. There seems to be a clear bias on the game which can operate in favour of one team or the other, which means at times, I feel that playing some matches is completely pointless and I’m just left frustrated! This game is great but could be outstanding if a few changes were made - allow control of goalkeepers, lose the bias, permit more goals than 3 a game and make the fouling system fairer. I love it and hate it, so download it! But you might get frustrated, hate it too, want to delete it, don’t, play some more, then write a review....Version: 1.88

Arena 7 used to be 20,000 now it’s 800 (boring). 2 suggestions. 1) let us control the goal keeper when a shot is being made in general play (same as penalties). 2) give players energy and make us manage them, ie: opportunity to change players in match (give us 10 seconds only) and also between games based on their energy. ✓ FixesI’ve been playing this game for over a year. I was addicted at first. The simple controls and reasonable length of the games made it easy to like. As my team got better I was starting to lose around 10 games in a sitting. I don’t have a problem losing, but I have a problem when I’m losing because of luck. If you’ve upgraded your team and your opponent has not, the game should be controlled by the better team. I also think you should be able to play against other levels. If a level 2 wants to compete against a level 8, the level 2 would only have to bid 200 currency, while the level 8 would have to bid something like 2,000. Hope anyone who can upgrade the game will read this, I want to keep playing but there needs more customization for your whole team and other fixes previously mentioned. Good day..Version: 1.62

✓ Great gameThis game is really addictive and fun! They recently updated it so all matches are free! This was much needed as I actually quit beforehand... when yo-yo-ing between league 7 and 8 i ran out of bux and could no longer play! I have found guests seem to unlock all types of players and if you sign into facebook you barely seem to unlock any... i have played over 1.3k matches and still do not have a speedster, commander, prowler or hammer...? Im currently in league 8 but lose more than I win... i then have to get promoted again from league 7 which is really tedious I went on facebook and went on the score match page and added over 100 people who play, before I knew it people were adding me and I had a great selection of players to use I did however use my own personal facebook but I would suggest making a separate profile just for score With all my own players at lvl 6 i would lose even more if i was in league 8 The packages that take 4+ hours to open are not good enough to level your players up fast enough if you play alot I would suggest a small reward for every game you win... Theoretically you could play a few games a day (score 10 goals) open packages every 4 hours and still progress as quickly as somebody playing for a solid 5 hours a day which seems unfair Overall very fun and has the unpredictability of a real football match.Version: 1.74

✓ Needs better AlgorithmScore match is a brilliant pvp game. However I would like to see a better algorithm for match set-ups; especially in events. When there is a huge variance in player skill levels, it should be better assigned for a fair competition. For example, if a level 5 player is matched against an infinity level player, it is going to be one-sided. The level 5 player will have all their teammates at lvl 5 or 6 which totals up to about 60 whereas an infinity lvl player will have all his teammates at 9 or 10 equating it to around 100 If the players weee matched against this total, it will be a very fair competition and I highly recommend the developers to work on this algorithm. ✓ Good, but a lot of small issues.Generally a fun, intense game. However, corners are ridiculously difficult to defend. I guarantee you will score 75 percent of your corners. It is so easy to score from corners, it is harder to score from penalties (work that one out). On the topic of penalties, it is really difficult to score penalties when the defending player just has to tap in the area that the striker shoots. You are more likely to have the penalty saved and then score from a resulting corner. Furthermore, what happens often that is really irritating is you cross the ball to the striker who has a tap in but you are fouled and play is stopped for a penalty which are quite difficult to score. Also, sometimes your players do stupid things that no football player would do such as shoot from 30 yards when they are through on goal and the players are generally terrible at holding the ball up. Nevertheless, I think the game does well considering it is effectively football on rails..Version: 1.81
✓ FrustratingI love this game and have played over 5000 matches. The thing I find most frustrating is that some games seem like they are already set up before you even kick a ball. Keepers doing crazy things in some games and not In others. Easy goals that are harder to score than miss. Im not a soar loser but sometimes it feels like no matter what is done the game would end the way it did and this includes me winning too. Fouls for penalties are ridiculous and happen too often. Defenders that are much bigger in hight and are the player you highlight lose out to a header of a much smaller player. I’d like the game to be more fluid and less generic. Also maybe allowing unlimited goals in a 2 min period to see who comes out on top. I like the game but it does need some better input..Version: 1.93
✓ Usually fun with a couple small issuesI honestly like playing this game and I think most of the criticism towards the AI isn’t justified. Every pass/touch isn’t going to be exactly how you want it and every player won’t move exactly how you want them to. It can be aggravating at times with certain types of players but if used correctly they can be good too. My main issue is with connectivity where it doesn’t always let you remove your slide tackling player because it lags drawing your whole defense out of position. I like how punishing/rewarding it can be but it’s frustrating when you can’t select/deselect a player due to connection. Aside from that I’d like to be able to pick the numbers for all my players and make it easier to find/unlock different formations..Version: 1.20

The AI is meant to get you hooked to addictive play in the beginning but as you progress if you don’t make purchases you tend to lose and lose obviously to people who spend the money on the game. I also question if half of the players here are actually human. Seems interesting then at any time that I log on and in different leagues I alway get matched up with a guy that has my exact same level of play, but clearly has a better players, goalie and passes. I’ve tested this theory out and played at different times of the day and at night even at two or three in the morning. Anyways probably going to the delete, or maybe not but definitely not a game worth spending time in until the AI gets fixed to be more competitive and an even playing field..Version: 1.44

I am rating it from the experience from dads I pad, he has the game too! Now the reason I love this game is because of the events, multiplayer and more! The events are amazing, there is different challenges you can face. And that’s incredible. The multiplayer part is so good that I can’t write it all down on this review. ✓ Fix the tournament setupThe game is super addictive and I love to play it. I stopped playing last year ,when you had to use the in game cash to play in different arenas, but I started playing again where you didn’t have to pay for each game and grind out cash. The only major problem in the game is the matchmaking in tournaments. I’m currently in arena 8 and would consider myself pretty decent at the game, but whenever I play in one of the knockout tournaments I seem to play people who either hacked the game and has over a billion dollars won and maxed rated players or people with probably twice as many stars that I have. I get manhandled in these games and can’t seem to hold my own, with their players all rated 10 while mine are all 5 or 6. I just want my grinding for enough balls to play in these tournaments to be at least somewhat worth it. I would suggest make tournaments cheaper and maybe have the amount of divisions in each tournament smaller Something like: Divisions 1-3 Divisions 3-5 Divisions 5-7 Divisions 7-9 Divisions 10 - 10+ I just think this would make the tournament part of the game abit more fun.Version: 1.80
✓ Fun Game, Bad TournamentsI like the game, but the Tournament system doesn’t work well. If you’re above level 6, you can only play in the top tier tournament. And those tourneys are filled with people on level 9 or 10. So it’s very difficult to win at all if you’re not in the top 2 tiers. I rarely play in the tournaments anymore because it’s a waste of gems. Also, level 10 people regularly lose on purpose to get to level 6 so they can appear in both tournaments. So if you’re a level 4 person, you might have a match against a “level 6” person with level 10 players. This isn’t fair. My solutions would be to have more tournament levels, like there used to be, and to punish people who are obviously losing to move down levels. For instance, if you go from level 10 to level 8, all your players lose a level too. Same for 9-7, 8-6 and so on. That way, someone trying to go from level 10 to 6 would have all their players lose at least 3 levels..Version: 1.81

Instead of a maximum of two goals and a two minute game, it should be brought up to three minutes and you should be allowed to score as many goals as you want. And your rewards should vary based on the way you play; how many goals you score and wether or not you win. Also some minor improvements with the AI, especially the speedster. I get it, he’s the type of player who uses speed to dominate his opponents, but sometimes he just dribbles in a straight line straight into a defender; he’s to predictable and sometimes he takes a second touch when he really shouldn’t. ✓ Infuriating but funThis game has been a saviour whilst working from home and in lockdown; a spare 5 minutes in the day and I’ll play a game or two, once you start playing you won’t be able to stop. As addictive as this game is, it is equally infuriating; when you get to the higher levels, you are matched against far superior teams/players and the match can be over in a matter of 30s, they need to even up the levels and pit you against similar levelled players; there are users who have clearly spent a lot of money on this game and just smash past you, (e.g. level 10 players in League 8), similar Liverpool vs Portsmouth in real life. Also I have half a million pound in money, but it’s the gems that gets you stuff, you should be able to cash in and buy gems. These are the only negatives, in what is a great concept and very enjoyable game, even though some times you want launch your phone.Version: 1.96
