✓ Fun but overwhelming at firstFirst off, the game is gorgeous and a ton of fun to play! Maybe it’s because I’m not a gamer, but I feel like there are a lot of confusing elements with difficult to find explanations. There are so many various things to click on, that take you to another place to click, then you click some more. 🤣 Might be helpful when someone starts the game to have quick tutorial pop-ups explaining how to properly change your lures during your first duel, power ups and what they do, upgrading rods when you can, etc. I’m still not sure what I’m drawing on the licenses or what that’s for. Why are there coins and pearls as currency? 🤣 You do learn as you go though. Biggest issue....on iPhones, when you get notifications, they pop up directly over the power bar when you’re reeling. ✓ Great game with a fundamental flawI’m really enjoying the game and recommend it to anyone who will listen. However, there is one massive fundamental flaw with the game. The fact so many veteran players intentionally lose duals to lower their cups in order to be paired against new players just starting out in the game. This is very off putting for the new players and a clear exploit by more experienced players. Solution? Use a better algorithm to prevent this from happening e.g factor in things like a players maximum cups reached, their level, how many fisheries they have unlocked or even as deep as analysing their average size of catch over the last x period of time. ✓ Great amazing game just some fixes….This game is honestly amazing and very interesting. The amount of fisherys there are and fish in the game is amazing. I have played this for a wile, and the graphics and gameplay are unreal. I also think that the game can honestly show a lot EVERY single fish has a detailed description and can honestly teach you some facts. A few things id take away are the fact that in duels some players get impossible scores. Another thing id fix would be the fact of if a fishery has to many commons when this happens, at the start of the fishery all you get is commons. This happened to me in a fishery and I was stuck in it trying to level up because all there was just commons. Overall I love this game and think its amazing and the creators need more respect for the graphics and the fact its a mobile game with so many things that you can do..Version: 1.0.255

✓ I think this borders on something nefariousI have a major issue with the App, it tells you how much it will charge in Australian dollars and then bills my Australian credit card the amount in USD, converted to Australian dollars; so what might have been for example advertised as $79 AUD is actually $130 AUD; I have been through my purchase history and it has done this for all my transactions amounting to a difference of several hundred dollars.I tried contacting them through help and have had no contact from them. The various levels and adventure of fishing for everything from emo to jaws is a welcome bonus when you open up new levels...everyone looks for free game play and you can get as even a playing field available from these types of games and with just a small investment of a few dollars you can get the boosts you need to compete with just about anyone. I really enjoy the play of the game, but the higher level you get the lower fisheries seem forgotten. It would be nice to be able to pick where you duel at. There's no point in leveling up your lures if you never duel in the Florida coast anymore. I like to max out something before moving up and this game doesn't really give you that option. Also, it'd be nice to have a global chat set up for recruiting. Our clan is small and doesn't have a good way to recruit at the moment. It would also be neat to have clan duels. Maybe a 1-2 day fishing tournament between two clans. Just some ideas I had and would like to see implemented into the game soon. ✓ Really fun but matchmaking is brokenI’ve been playing the game for a while now and have had a ton of fun grinding and leveling up and have gotten to around level 60. I’ve spent about 20$ total on the game and have overall been very satisfied with the gameplay and content implemented into the game, however the multiplayer feature or “duels” as it’s called in the game is unbelievably broken. It has literally gotten to the point to where I cannot move up in the game anymore because it keeps matching me with people who are either way higher level than me with way higher level lures, or people who have purposely dropped down trophies to absolutely demolish lower level players. There needs to be some sort of balance added so that the duels are more fair for lower level players. It’s hard to get coins and lure upgrades when it’s literally impossible to win duels to get the packs. I absolutely love the game and hope that this is fixed soon to make overall gameplay better..Version: 1.0.116

✓ Waay too expensiveThe price increases are outrageous. There is no down time to just fish what you have. New fish, mystery fish, boss fish, new fisheries seemingly every other month. All these things spell huge money. They have made challenges now so that you must spend substantial money just to compete. Seems rewards have decreased as well. Then there’s the bots. Guarantee if you are on your last duel to complete a streak, you will be paired with someone or something that will reel in 13 star fish like candy. Meaning you will have to start the streak all over. I don’t think I have ever completed a streak first time out. Even with maxed out fish and maxed out rods. Now they will only let you use double hooks if you have every pup. The game hooked me in. I spent a lot of money but up until recently, it was at least reasonable. The ridiculous pricing has actually had the reverse effect on me. I spend way less. And when i open the game for the first time in the day and see they want 35 dollars just to compete, I just close the app. Won’t be long before i give it up entirely..Version: 1.0.251

Which one am I using and how to level them up? I just keep pressing buttons and hope for the best. Even the notes in the inbox can be confusing. Developers: before pressing Send, find a non-player or someone new to the game and ask them to read it to see if it makes sense to them. I’m 50 years old and I admit, sometimes your messages leave me scratching my head, wondering, “What?” A game suggestion: for the player vs player duel, is there a way to show me what special lures I have in addition to the little fish symbol when I’m selecting a lure? If I have 3.0% increased weight for one fish but only 1.5% for another, I want to go with the first one. But you can’t expect us to remember All of our special lures and their numbers...so could that be shown? (I hope that makes sense...not sure if I’m using the correct terms) I’d love to see if you could show a fish jump out of water while on my line! It is set up in a clan style format where u can enjoy with friends. Just like real life fishing! This is where the money comes in. They sell in game up grades like everyone else. The problem is they are at unreasonable prices. For instance, $ 400 for one rod! Don’t get me wrong it’s a nice rod. Maybe not G Loomis quality. Then again it’s probably not fair to compare fake rods with real rods. Except in this case the real money price is comparable. Then the clan format. If u r a high level clan without real money upgrades u will find it almost impossible to contribute points to your clan. No points = No rewards. It does not matter if u had points during the event, only at the end. U can spend real time and not receive part of the prize. The new Fishy Bank feature had me excited when it was announced not too long ago. I was pleasantly surprised that I was one of the randomly selected players to test out this feature for 6 days (thank you for choosing me). However, I was immediately disappointed when I found out that you have to pay $4.99 (more like $5.00) to crack open the bank. If only there was a way to do it for free. Maybe decrease the amount of gems you can get that would be reasonable for getting it for free. Nevertheless, this game is still phenomenal with its highly detailed fish models and graphics (which is impressive for a mobile game). ✓ Keeps “reeling” me backThis game is a simple idea where you simply catch fish. You can compete in duels, tournaments, and champiomships to level up your lures and rods so you can catch bigger and better fish in different locations. But the reason I find myself returning, even if I think I’m starting to get bored, as I do with any game, is the fact that whenever I come back afrer a day or two of not playing the game, it throws a bumch of free stuff at me! Furthermore, I find the matchmaking at my level is relatively even where I can win tournaments and championships if I’m willing to sacrifice enough boosts. There is also something so satisfying about catching a 750kg great white shark in the Mediterranean Sea with a wooden fishing rod:).Version: 1.0.124
✓ Good for a while.... could use some tweaks and new features.I like this game a lot and really enjoy it however there are a few things I don’t like. 1. I’m always matched up against too strong opponents in versus, and I never seem to be able to keep up. 2. There should be a way to get more free perks like the fish radar etc. 3. I always feel like there are no good ways of making money “coins” it just feels slightly unbalanced. 4 I wish we could see and actually pick out lures and interact with them in a level up menu. What we have now is kinda just selecting pictures of fish and leveling up a rod-reel combo. 5. A cool feature to eventually add would be boats that periodically move around while out on a body of water, or self driving. 6. Crabbing and other shellfish would be a nice feature. 7. A tank area where you can see your biggest species or trophies would be nice. All things considered this is by far one of the best fishing games for the phone. I’m impressed with the current updates, challenges, events. It is very nice to have such an interactive experience. If a few of the suggestions I have come to fruition this game would be a 5 star game no doubt. Regardless I have been playing this game since it came out and I thoroughly enjoy the vast species and places to fish great job!.Version: 1.0.144

✓ Great game ... interesting to see how it developsLove this game, easy to understand how to play , yet challenging as you progress... needs a little tweaking here and there as it does tend to swing to people who spend real $$$ on the game ... ( hard to collect the pearls to upgrade your rod etc, as you progress you suddenly find it will take a few days or more to be able to upgrade lures as you don’t get many coins a day).. ✓ Very relaxingI’m 12 and I downloaded this game because I like fishing I’m on level 5 already it’s sooo easy to level up ALTHOUGH....... it’s hard to get pearls (that’s what the currency is) you can only get pearls from packs and you only get one. The reason it’s relaxing is because you can hear the water crashing on the beach. By the way the thing I said about the pearls it’s minor apart from that I would have given it five stars..Version: 1.0.102

✓ Great game some flaws thoughI’ve been playing this game for over three months and I can say it has been my most played mobile game ever. I enjoy trying to get higher starred fish and competing in events. But all good games have flaws and this game has a few. To start the dueling system isn’t that fun as I could play ten matches and win only two of them. The game will continue to match you up with players that have god rods or just have played longer than you have which will always give them the advantage to win the match easily. Another big flaw in the game is the events during the week. What I mean is that sometimes when I would log on for the day I would be placed in an event that I could do little in because I can’t win duels for the event or I don’t own the lures needed for certain fish making it extremely hard to win any prizes during the very short events. If the events were longer than a day or two it might be possible for regular players to compete in these events. But overall I enjoy playing this game and would recommend fishing enthusiasts to try it out..Version: 1.0.235
