✓ Good but contains bugsThis is a good app to learn from as a beginner but the interface could have been built for easier transitions between screens and orientations. Also if you try the ‘repeat’ mode which is critical for learning, the app glitches heavily every time. It does not work. They have some bugs to work out. Lastly the pricing advertised is different in each screen. I hope my ‘lifelong use’ purchase doesn’t disappear next year!.Version: 4.42
✓ What I think about the tuner appSo this app is good. It helps tune your ukulele and tells u how much you’re playing each day. However, when following the songs it always crashes on the third part. Then it makes me start over and when I get to the third step again it crashes. I’m on a new iPhone, with most recent software and updates - but it always crashes :-( if you are just looking for one to tune it and learn notes then this app is fine.Version: 4.20

✓ Good but issuesThis app was really helpful, it tuned my uke great but there were some minor problems when tuning as I was trying to tune A it kept getting it as C or E. There is an auto mode where you can specifically choose the string your playing, but you have to pay for that. I get that’s how they make a profit but some of us barely use the app or don’t have the money. This made me really frustrated. ✓ It is absolute garbageThis app has nothing good about it. Unhelpful to the max. When I try to tune, I tuned low far too much, tuned higher even more, and the tuner in the app stayed at the red color, and at lowest number, “-50”. This app is a waste of time and I highly unrecommend you downloading it. I am in the backseat of a car going to a tryout for the South Carolina School of the Arts right now, and I need to play quite a few songs to get in. Now I am a minute away from the audition with an untuned ukulele. Absolutely wonderful. Just trust me. It is a rip-off. It had quite good reviews when I downloaded it, which were obviously botted. When I tune my uke there is no sound in the room and I’ve tuned my uke the same as I did before. So I don’t know what’s going on! ✓ Actually pretty goodI've used this app for a long time and it has never ceased to make me happy with its content. But some how the app was deleted from my phone I didn't notice for awhile though. When I did I immediately added it and tried to use it, but it can never get past the loading page. It always crashes and never gives me a notification telling me why. ✓ Thank you so much for breaking itOriginally this was amazing and all I hoped for! But after having it a few months it started acting up and being weird and not reading my notes properly. ✓ Ummmm...When I first got my ukulele, I decided to hold off on getting a real tuner and instead see if this app really did what it said it did. It really didn’t though. The app would only pick up the G and E strings, completely not acknowledging the C and A. As in I would play the C string and it would only say that it was an off-key G or E string. It was very frustrating because I couldn’t play my uke (correctly anyways) for a while since it it was so out of tune and I am not experienced enough to do it by ear. I had to purchase a Snark tuner and had to wait a while for shipping. Also, I was especially disappointed after seeing that this app had worked so well for many other people. p.s.- I am usually not a person to write a rude review but after my experience and the fact that it still continuously asks me to write a review, I thought it was necessary.Version: 4.0

I couldn’t use this app at first which I get because the uke was SOO out of tune so it didn’t pick up the notes but then I got it and it this app works pretty well! I love how I can find different chords I’m not familiar with on it and metronome is helpful also. So that’s the good part. The meh part is that those are the only things you can do on there without paying for premium. Everything else is quite limited. I can only play one song that uses tabs which I just started learning. It would be nice to have some more songs you can play that use chords too. Another “meh” thing about this app is that it’s kind of hard to figure out what everything is. ✓ Appears to be a great app for learningI started this app today and I noticed that when I want to tune my ukulele or learn to play a song it isn’t full screen. When I click on a song to play it goes vertically and not horizontally. No matter the position my device is in. I have been working on my picking skills and when you’re picking instead of strumming, it is SUPER obvious when your uke is not in tune. This app does absolutely nothing to tune your uke. Ukuleles get out of tune often and very easily (like you have to tune it every two-three songs depending on your instrument.) But every time I try to pull out the tuner it says all of my strings are in tune. If you’re intending this app as a tuner, I would look for another one. ✓ Amazing but a lil ProblemThis app is amazing in every way, it helped me tune my ukulele, practice chords, learn chords and much more. The only problem is that when trying to practice he beginner songs it thinks that my A string is my G string, my E string as my C string, My C string as my E string, and my G string as my A. When I press the listen button to the song the G string sounds like the A string.
