✓ Game ProblemI don’t know if anyone has noticed, 2 things, on the snooker game I noticed that the cue doesn’t point to the right colour to pit, cue goes to a random colour, and sometimes potting the brown, once potted the brown returns to the table, but in the wrong place, it appeared on the other end of the table(weird) but the pool game is spot on👍🏻.Version: 3.23
✓ RiggedI used to love this app, but I feel it’s gotten worse. I don’t like the new avatars, nor do I like the game itself. It makes me sound like a noob when I say it’s rigged, but I think it’s true. The opponent rarely misses, and they always just so happen to be in the exact situation that they win just like that. There’s no real challenge, just loss. I switched it to easy, It didn’t change at all. And what’s really suspicious is that they always seem to win at the last second. What I mean is that I only have one ball left and I have a perfect shot, but it always somehow messes up in some way. Of course the AI always wins. This is my favorite pool app on the App Store, but you need to give the players a chance against the AI..Version: 2.4

✓ Aiming and spin physics are a little offThe graphics are great and it’s a very easy game to play and use. However, the aiming is slightly off. You have to aim more to the right than you would expect, otherwise the ball rattles the pocket. Also, even the slightest bit of backspin with low power seems to cause the cue ball to come back up the table by a massive amount. Just seems a little loose in places. ✓ OkThe game is ok. But when I break I usually pot two yellows which Makes me the yellows. But no when I take my next shot after potting the two yellows on the break it gives me reds not right I should be given yellows as I potted to yellows on the break. Also when the computer has two shots it pots a ball then has another shot which to me is the two shots completed but no they give themselves three shots. Also they hit the black before potting a ball which should be a foul two shots to me but no all a rig computer keeps playing bloody cheat..Version: 3.25

✓ Playing Computer AwfulLet’s face it, the computer can win every game if it wants to. Playing medium mode, it makes a series of excellent shots, then purposely goofs a shot. ✓ Some great bits and not so greatI downloaded this app because I was looking to get my hands on some more pool but it is hard to access a physical pool table. It is great for just playing around, but not necessarily ideal but getting better at pool. I was a little disappointed that was no online mode to play against actual players. The CPU mode isn’t realistic at all because the computer can easily do any shots it wants and then purposely miss before it makes too many in a row. On the ‘easy’ CPU mode it will almost always make two shots in a row and then purposely miss the third one. A real player would more often make easy shots but less often make hard ones. The CPU makes easy shots and hard shots alike until it decides to give up. The way I prefer to play the game is in the offline 2-player mode where I will play against myself from both sides. That is where I have improved at the game the most. Some positives about the game include the fact that there are plenty of modes to choose from, including 8-ball, 9-ball, snooker, time trial, practice, and many others. There are many ways to play the game, even if by yourself. The art style is also very good and the atmosphere of the game has a very relaxing and friendly vibe, which is exactly what you want for this type of game. Despite it’s flaws, the game can be a fun way to improve at pool as ling as you are challenging yourself. Overall it is easily worth the $2 charge to go ad-free..Version: 2.9
✓ Nice Pool Game but issuesReally enjoy playing this. Sometimes the table view angles can be annoying and the cue could be far more easy to use , using the cue itself rather than the current slider bar. The game is also quite repetitive in as much as same ball patterns frequently occur after first break. The other really annoying issue is an ad for solitaire which effectively locks you in and the only way to get out of the add is to delete the app!.Version: 3.23
✓ Great gameThe physics isn’t perfect but it’s close. The pockets are too big however it’s highly playable and not filled with intrusive adverts nor in app purchases. That alone makes this game better than most. However I have to deduct 2 stars simply because the rules for both UK 8 ball and Snooker are wrong. ✓ The game cheats.First, we are playing against a program that shoots every ball perfectly. Sure there is the occasional miss to make up for all the perfect, complex shots one makes only to have them stick against cushions or bounce out, etc. I have lost many games when there are one or two shots left and I make a perfect shot that sticks to the side of the hole without a bounce, etc!!! I like the game, I don’t like playing well and losing to an impossible, freak instance. I would give it a 4 but it is an infuriating outcome too often. ✓ Fun BUT…This game is fun. Could be improved and so can I. When shooting the view does not expand to show the rest of the table so you have no idea where the rest of the balls went. Also, if you’re starting to learn real pool don’t use this. It will not teach you how english works. It’s close but inconsistent. There is little randomness on breaks but that’s not the programmer’s issue. It’s good enough to be fun but don’t fool yourself it’s going to improve your real pool skills. It in fact could ruin them. Since I play real pool I won’t be playing this game anymore for the reasons given. A fun game with pretty good graphics but not a pool teacher. Only a real pool table can do that..Version: 3.21
✓ Nearly….but not rightVery short review, generally fun game but only as a “time waster”. Overhead view, you lose the two nearest corner pockets…. I think that’s to help cover the poor geometry of the programming where the ball can go from the side cushion close to the pocket, to the end cushion close to the pocket…..and then into the pocket! never seen those dynamics in real world. Worth pointing out this only applies to the cpu “player”, the real player has the ball regularly bounce out of corner pockets even after trickling in..Version: 3.25
✓ Insanely overpowered AIThis game works very well and I have no complaints with the gameplay itself (minus the AI). The big issue is if you are playing with no guidelines to try and be more realistic, the AI will basically win every time. For instance, in 8-Ball you will clear most of your balls and miss the 8 once, suddenly the AI comes back and clears the whole table and you lose. And that’s on “easy” mode?!? It makes completely inhuman shots that nobody in their right mind would immediately try, and has insane accuracy even at the lowest difficulty level. The AI needs to be nerfed or detects when a player is using “no guidelines” and play accordingly.Version: 3.25

✓ RealisticI would give it 10 stars if the power flick mode could also be centered, or overlayed on the cue, or just part of the cue... instead of only all the way right or left on the screen.. this would save a ton of hand movement. But despite that, it’s the most realistic pool game out of the 20 or so apps I’ve tried. Smooth physics satisfying sound effects and convincing shiny ball glare... also not a bunch of extra stuff going on like rewards explosions and Harry Potter cue upgrades etc... which is nice. It’s just straight to the point choose your type of accrual pool game and go. And with a good amount of control / aid functions you’re able to gradually drop the laser pointer guides and get the feel for realistic line of sight play.. from human angles not floating above it all like some second sight pool bhodavista.. which is good too, but sometimes you just want to play pool like you’re a tiny human really playing pool... but only by moving your wrist. Please center the power flick though.. my wrist is tired. Do that and I’ll pay the $10!.Version: 3.19

✓ Same ThingI thought I had finally found a good pool game. Playing another for years was making my blood boil--cheating from scratches to computer playing the speed, I gave up. This started out by giving me the option if playing easy to being challenged to a game that was supposed to be a little harder. It lures you in to make havoc by "placing" opponent in seriously hard situations. I would enjoy having a simple game of pool that delivers a risk to the computer as well as me. Plain and simple expectations are not discouragement--they encourage you to play the game to enjoy and get better. When an opponents ball screams to the pocket and stops as if there's a wall, just to block the pocket, the game of pool becomes a defeatist instead of enjoyment. I should have known--anything free is not enjoyable for very long. Making the computer miss long shots would make it much better and realistic..Version: 2.4

✓ BugThere is a bug in this game that happens quite often when the cpu opponent comments a foul and then is awarded two free shots instead of the shots going to you. Also when playing a shot to run a ball along the cushion it is in contact with often the ball shoots out at a 90 degree angle from cushion. ✓ Ads were too longI enjoyed playing both pool and particularly snooker. The pockets are oversized so breaks are comparatively easy. Odd glitch where, on taking a shot, the ball doesn’t move but shifts to its final location as if by magic! ✓ Let the new player winYou don’t start out your game on easy and have the computer run the table every time. Obviously that isn’t fun watching the computer play itself. Where’s your common sense? Not only that but the 3d is wonky and laborious. If you zoom in too far you miss half the shots. It could at least pull out after you shoot. Or maybe some buttons for default views. I spent most of my time zooming in and out before realizing I had to hit a strange green checkbox. And can we talk about the ui?it’s terrible. The table and balls look nice but the avatars look like a 5th grader drew them. They’d be fine if this was 5th grade pool 3d or something boring 2d flat line art characters don’t work with this game. And go ahead and hire someone to fix you dimensionless controls. Seriously it looks like you spent all you graphics budget on the table and then used generic ui components for the rest. ✓ Rigged To High Hell—Do Not Install Please ReadUpon playing this game i was initially dumb struck over how highly satisfying the gameplay was. However upon playing a few games, it became profoundly apparent that the game is in favour of player 1 no matter what, whether that be in single player or against AI. We tested our theory with games to 10; I played as the first player for the first 10 games and won each and every game, then we swapped and I became player two and my partner who was now player one then won all the next 10 games. This intrusive gameplay behaviour thoroughly destroys any form of enjoyment the players gets from the game which is therefore the reason I have uninstalled this game and why you shouldn’t install it to begin with, i recommend other pool games available on the AppStore including 8 ball pool..Version: 3.23

✓ Something strangeI like the game and play it often. However, don’t trust the line to be honest as to where the ball will go. It is severely off. Change the camera angle to overhead view to get a “correct” view of where the ball is heading. Also, I’ve seen the CPU make a shot where the cue ball didn’t even come in contact with the target ball. The cue is a good foot behind the ball and it goes into the pocket. Cheater! It also loves to make a great shot into a scratch for no reason. You will scratch like crazy if you’re not careful. ✓ Ai weird rulesThis game was good for me to play as I am just getting started playing pool so this was an ok app for a beginner. Although while playing against the ai I noticed that for some reason when it had two shots, the first one they scored then second one missed. ✓ Spin isn’t rightReally nice, if slightly arcadey and easy take on pool. Very playable, doesn’t flood you with ads, really enjoyable time trial mode. Stars knocked off for the glitchy physics - spin doesn’t take effect on the cushions, and there is no restricted cueing when up against a cushion or another ball. There are also some strange physics if you hit the cushion just before the object ball. Fix these and I’d happily go five stars..Version: 3.21
