✓ Serene DreamThis is one of the most beautiful games I’ve played. Simple yet insanely surreal, the reminiscent feel of it kept me hooked. The puzzles (once you get the hang of their thinking) toe the line perfectly too: tough enough to be challenging but not so difficult you lose hope. Starman however I have been playing everyday now and just recently after finishing it, I find flow mode will still serve me for many days to come. The standard game is great by itself, dont get me wrong. If you like the trailer and dont mind short yet incredibly well crafted experiences using puzzles then this is for you. However, each of the levels have a clear end for me and there is not much replay value. With flow mode though, there is no one level just to complete and due to some neat additions in both gameplay as well as the dynamic environment, it really is something special. ✓ Just WOW(UPDATE): I’ve just finished it, and it’s AMAZING. Music, puzzles, aesthetics. Everything. I love every aspect of this game. I played a bit everyday, and I probably finished it after 3 hours (combining all). But it’s totally worth it, seriously. It ends with a pleasant surprise. ✓ Lovely game but frustrating controlsThis game is gorgeous and the puzzles are (mostly) really fun. The main issue I have is that the controls to turn a wheel just never work properly for me. I’ve tried all sorts of different touch movements and the wheels only listen to me half the time. Sometimes they will change direction in the middle of the same motion. This is especially frustrating in timing-based puzzles. I’m asking that the developers please make the wheel controls more simple (maybe make it a 2- dimensional left-right motion instead of a turning motion) or more responsive..Version: 1.1.1

✓ Starman: A Tale of Light (and not so light)Disappointing really. Found it hard to work out what was meant to be what with only shades of black to white to work with and some puzzles are extreme in latter chapters. For 79p I acquired Euclidean Lands earlier this month and got a good two weeks of 3 or 4 hours play per day to crack it, but Starman for £3.99 gave much less playtime and is no match against EL. Starman is interesting and has much going for it, but not worth its cost by comparison, but then again it’s worth its cost as such. It’s just that EL is exceptional value for money. There are 9 fascinating puzzle levels that will challenge you. After completing all 9 levels, you will have the opportunity to explore Flow (an extended game) with 9 unique challenges where the reward is a seed. You get to plant the seeds and watch them grow into trees with colorful leaves. 🌴 What is fascinating about Flow is how you have the freedom to plant trees 🌴wherever you want. Also, you can strategically jump from island 🏝 to island if it’s in sight. Starman is enhanced by Flow, so I recommend trying for yourself and ignore the haters writing bad reviews. I actually enjoy this slow-paced game because I can enjoy a snack while playing! As a BONUS, you will find animated stickers in the Messages app. It’s very relaxing and I appreciate that. ✓ Outstanding gameThis game helps me as I am constantly thinking about mathematics, the problem solving and out of the box thinking in the game trains me to do just that in my mathematics. I deal with calculus mainly and it helps greatly, although for others they may find this use rather implicit. However, I finished the game within one day. The game itself is fantastic and I appreciate deeply that it does take a lot of time to plan, promote, place etc... but for £3.99 I feel as if I’ve only gotten £0.99. This game deserves the time & attention to do that tho. The puzzles are so intriguing and they make you THINK of how to use the mechanics of the pieces and the mechanics that each new level introduces. As mushy as this sounds I’m also moved by the lonely little “Starman” as he makes his way in this strange new world & as he sits by his fire creating butterflies in the depths of the night. I actually luv the new levels and some required outside the box (no pun intended) thinking which my socially distanced housebound brain sorely needed! Many thanks to NADA for this game. The atmosphere is exquisite and the puzzles really force you to get creative. The last few levels are exacting; the timing of things gives zero wiggle room at all, but they are doable. ✓ Beauty and Intelligence in a dark, gray world for games.In a day and age of microtransactions, overpriced DLC, and who can have the best graphics and the least gameplay, comes a game with such depth and beauty through its simplicity and intelligence. While having a colour palette with 3 more colours than Call of Duty, the games colour scheme, art style, and direction are breathtakingly beautiful. The gameplay reflects this thought process, and the art style as well. With its simplistic nature and deep complexity everything you do feels like an accomplishment. One of the puzzles I just wasn’t getting, a simple 3 piece puzzle and I just wasn’t getting it. Then I noticed that the block would tilt at the bottom of the ramp, then it dawned on me, INERTIA! Something so simple made me feel like a genius. And that’s how the whole game is really, that’s why I consider it perfect. My only complaint is for $3 (and that is with 50% off) the game is far too short. A couple of the puzzles are a little bit tricky, but most adventure game players will knock this game over in one or two sittings (1-3 hours max). I hope you are planning on extending the game and adding more levels, but if you aren’t I would suggest dropping the price to $1, as it is exceptionally short. The character also moves VERY SLOWLY, which honestly added to the already short game play time. There were numerous times I had figured out a puzzle but would have to walk back and forth within a level at this slow pace to complete it. Frustrating when you screw up (light orb misses target) and you have to do the entire puzzle over. Would rate 3.5 if I could.
