✓ Dorna servers can’t take the heat!Not only does Dorna charge $130 for a subscription, but more than once this 2021 season their servers go down right before the main GP race. Latest one is this weekend’s Silverstone race. Their authentication server locked out I don’t know how many fans 5 minutes before the race. Removing the app, re installing, logging out nothing worked. Those who logged out could not log back in. Dorna rapes us for their coverage.. this is why pirate streams become the alternative. Dorna needs to to get their act together. Write in with nasty emails! Demand partial refunds etc..Version: 1.15.7
✓ It’s great now - they worked out the kinksThis is reviewing the iPhone app, as well as the TV app. A year or two ago, this app did not work very well. When the race would start, the video would get glitchy. Now, I turn it on my TV at race time and it works flawlessly. The picture is very clear as well. I think Dorna invested in improving this app and it shows..Version: 1.15.4
✓ Frustrating Expensive CrapDespite paying the overpriced annual subscription for several years this app still regularly disconnects usually just before the Moto GP race is due to start, they never address it’s well documented bad reviews, once they have your money they don’t care about the subscribers, spend your cash with a company that will at least try to provide a service.Version: 1.15.7
✓ MotoGP appI have subscribed to this app for a few years now. The amount of content you can see is awesome. Also you can see every practise/race whenever it is convenient to do so, sometimes I just can’t stay awake even though it is my favourite sport. Well worth the money 😊.Version: 1.18.4
✓ Puzzlingly low review scoresI’m not overly sure why this app has such a low rating? I own the video pass and every video works perfectly for me all in high resolution and they look even better when I stream them to my 4K Chrome Cast Ultra. The app itself also works perfectly fine, so the low review score is incredibly puzzling..Version: 1.11.1
✓ Do not use ‘Sign in with Apple ID’Like many other disappointed reviewers here, I signed up for the MotoGP VideoPass using my Apple ID, and suffered a world of pain trying to log into the MotoGP app. But I contacted the developers and was able to change my log in to the standard email and password method. Now everything works just fine (on the Apple TV app, too). As a relative newcomer to MotoGP fandom, I like that I can use the ‘no spoilers’ browsing function to explore previous seasons without knowing the outcome. Cheers!.Version: 1.15.0
✓ SurpriseI really expected to experience issues after reading all the bad reviews below and held my breath when I clicked “purchase”. But after watching three consecutive races it’s been great and I’ve had zero problems. One big plus (e.g. vs F1tv) is you can dial in from anywhere and don’t need a vpn. I’ve been using the app on my iPad when travelling and Apple TV at home and it’s been great..Version: 1.17.7
✓ Why is everyone having problems?I have been using this app for 5 years, no I don’t like to watch it on my phone so if I’m not on the go I always play it through my computer onto the TV. I have really never had serious issues with this or really any that I can think of. Spoilers alerts, ok fine yes the app is terrible with this. But I just block the screen with my hand and click the drop down tab to get to the schedule. Once there, there’s no issue! The app is meant for quick viewing in my opinion and shouldn’t be solely relied on to be perfect. These are iPhone apps! I do agree there could be some work done with the spoilers being at the top or on the home news feed. But that’s wha bring people to their website. Those that don’t pay, get to see who’s won. It’s more advertisement than anything. I am or a Dorna employee, however I love watching Motogp, and at the price of comcast now a days, I don’t have a problem setting the funds aside for my passion. To each their own, but I’ve loved every year of my time spent with MotoGP.Version: 1.18.3
✓ Terrible. And now… new terrible!Dorna is idiotic for not fixing their app. Buggy, bad navigation, freezes; I’ve already had to quit and restart 3 times and the season just started. Pathetic. Unfortunately, if you want to watch all MotoGP events and you live in the US, this is your only option. They updated the app. I’m not sure quite how they managed to accomplish it, but they’ve actually made it worse..Version: 2.0.2
✓ I am sick and tired of the lack of airplay support!Why are we going to get our previously existing support for playing through to our TV? It’s months now and no update of the problem nor when a solution to the problem is due. I’ve emailed but no tech response other than the auto reply. Not much help guys. I’m looking forward to unsubscribing from the rip off, and since we will not subscribe to Foxtel, that means it’s no more MotoGP for us! ✓ Don’t know what the fuss is aboutI honestly don’t know what the fuss is about… not perfect but very usable in my opinion. Biggest flaw for me is it that it’s a bit choppy when I cast to chrome cast (from iPhone) by still watchable. Maybe cuz I have an old LED tv and use chrome cast dongle?? Casting via Airplay to a newer tv is perfect. Overall, no issues signing in or any other issues everyone is griping about..Version: 1.18.2
✓ Love the appThe app has been great as I can watch the races from anywhere in the world and not have to rely on cable network, I’ve had the app since it came out. It would be great if in addition to turning on notices through the app, if there was a click to add those events to my calendar. What the ultimate ask would be is to be able to pre-select the particular events and then add the entire season. Same for the notices through the app. Going into every single event and clicking several times to add each of the FP, qualifying and races is kind of silly considering I’m going to choose the exact same thing for every single race..Version: 1.15.3
✓ Goes down too oftenFor such a big international organization, the fact that the app and website for people who pay the $100-$130 subscription to watch the races goes down and has soooooo many issues is absolutely unacceptable. ✓ CrashesGreat app, just crashes with the latest version on my ipad Air2. Not much to troubleshoot other than restart your ipad. Crashes shortly after opening a video from 2018 :( Cant cast to chromecast anywmore either, just crashes. Please motogp release a new verison..Version: 1.4.2
✓ Brilliant appI’ve used this app for a few years now and had no problems with it. It’s all dependent on your Wi-fi connection. The better it is the more views you can run. It costs approx £10 per race meeting that starts on a Thursday though to Sunday and any session can be watched on demand that’s £2.50 a day. If you are a Motogp fan this is the next best thing to being there. It app runs on many devices including a PC If the app was available on AppleTV it would be perfect. Let’s hope one day we get it. A year or so on since writing this it’s got better now they have an Apple TV app. They could do something with remembering your login as it intermittently asks for it..Version: 1.11.2

✓ Amazing!!This is a great app!! MotoGP in High Def video...truly stunning! Oh did I mention they have an Apple TV 4k App too...they Do!!! There are also slow motion High Definition replays...truly stunning on a big screen TV!!! No bugs, don’t believe the haters on cheap equipment, this App works perfectly!!! Also, all the rider interviews you would ever want and free practice and qualifying footage!! They have done a fantastic job with this App and the Apple TV 4k App is a racing fan’s dream come true!!!.Version: 1.11.3

✓ A monopoly and terrible serviceThis is the worst app on my iPhone and if it wasn’t a sport in which Dorna held a monopoly I would go elsewhere. Today just about to watch the live race and the app stopped. I couldn’t log in, I couldn’t reset a password, deleted and reinstalled the app…all failed. Assuming I can get it working the live race will be over. I pay over £100 to watch live racing but often it buffers or as today just fails. Just awful…and because you can’t go anywhere else they just take your money and do nothing about improving the service..Version: 1.15.7

✓ Needs a live play buttonThe update needs one thing: a “watch live” button. iPad especially. This weekend at the Silverstone race it wasn’t possible to start the live feed until the warm up lap. Sort that out and I’ll give you a 5*. The commentary, coverage, catch-up are all exemplary. I’ve had my account 13 years - never had an issue in any country on any device..Version: 2.0.2
✓ So far so good.I have the pass and have watched 4 races from 2020 season streaming from my phone to my TV. I’ve yet to experiment any issues. Layout is pretty much like the website. Take other reviews with a grain of salt. I also normally never leave reviews for anything but I felt compelled because i think the app is worthy of at least 4 stars. Haven’t watched live yet so can’t speak on that..Version: 1.15.4
