✓ Very buggy on older iPad2 and MiniHello developers, I have heard so many good things about this game. It's a classic. The following comments are regarding the apps functionality itself, and not about the game contents. I really hate to give a one star rating but this app crashes on both my iPad 2 & iPad Mini running iOS 9.3.5. It doesn't go past the car-in-tree scene. I have to buy another copy of this game through STEAM running Windows 10. Just to finish playing the game. It's a great game. I am a programmer myself and I think the reason why this version crashes is that: your memory allocation is too large for the older iPads. It's trying to load the music track in one large chunk. Please look into this. It will be such a waste if users are put off by this minor technical glitch. All the best to your team..Version: 2.8

✓ Pro: story; Con: everything elseStory is well written and nicely weaved. The way the character goes back to unveil the whole story is a nice touch. Yet your BG music feels too synthetic with too much piano tune (piano is one of the key clue in the game; too much piano just feels too plain). I know pixel style feels more “RPG”, but your graphics feel a lot worse compared to other RPGs I’ve played so far. Everything is stiff. The color makes it worse. Your migration to iOS is not successful either. With only 4 directions, the keypad is sometimes really hard to control with bare fingers. You give the notebook mechanism a looong transition time between its collapsed state and unfolded state. At the beginning tutorial… OK, but not after the players have understand everything. I believe $5 is too expensive for just a story walkthrough. This is at most a playable visual novel, but is not really a standard RPG..Version: 2.6
✓ Little fix and it's as lovely as the originalThis is and has been my favourite game for years. Soon as I saw its release on mobile I bought it without hesitation. ✓ Sooo boring...Downloaded this after reading all the stellar reviews. Was expecting an inception like puzzle game with lots of twist in a great story. But this game is so boring and repetitive. Don’t bother First, the retro pixilated design makes it difficult to see and interact with objects. Positioning of avatars correctly is almost impossible. It’s not clear. What it is, exactly, that you need to collect or how to find them. Second, the story line is a basic tear-jerker. Yes I read the description and was expecting a story but I was also expecting more than a single mini game (although you do play it multiple times it is very quick. The story is lovely however and I did see it though to the end, although it took less than 48 hours and I wasn't playing/watching constantly either. So the real question is was it worth the price tag for this game? A resounding no, there wasn't enough game play for it to be worth the price for a game. ✓ Another bored playerI had to finish the whole thing because I am OCD but my eyes were rolling back in my head in bored agony before the end. Honestly I got so bored I don't even know if I remember the story - just the incessant annoying tasks that were not intriguing just something to suffer through to get to the end. If you loved this story you probably loved "Jonathan Livingston Seagull" too. Ugh. Coy and sugary sweet -y'all need to read some decent literature if this floats your boat or just go ahead and fill your bookcase up with multiple copies of "The Bridges of Madison County". ✓ Mixed FeelingsThe stellar reviews finally brought me to this game. As many before have observed, the actual gameplay is minimal. There is very light exploration and several quick mini-games along the way which basically serve to nudge the story along. But if you adjust your expectations and decide to invest yourself in the narrative, the experience can be surprisingly poignant and thought provoking. Which is why I regret the one thing that detracted from my experience, which is the dialogue between the two characters that you play throughout the story (the "doctors") that I found to be hokey, crass and juvenile to the point of being completely distracting. Constantly flinging sarcastic comments or insults at each other, being jarringly rude to other characters, routinely calling each other "idiot", "moron", or at one point, "butthead." The dialogue between these two so-called doctors struck me as so wildly out of place that it constantly jolted me out of this otherwise touching storyline and came close to derailing the whole experience for me, unfortunately. Having said that, I was still able to somewhat overlook the childish banter and remain attuned to the larger story, which is truly moving and memorable and still made the journey worthwhile in the end..Version: 2.8
✓ One of the worst games I’ve ever completed.The story doesn’t make sense. You’re supposed to be fixing a dudes memory so he would think his life turned out better for a minute before he dies? Why not just give him morphine. Seems less convoluted. The writing is amateurish and contains a lot of grammatical errors. The game design is bad. You have to click on hundreds of items to find the five that are correct. There are virtually no visual or lighting cues to show you where to click. You just have to click everything to progress. ✓ Maybe more of a Miss than hit?Hmm, I'm really not sure what to make of this game. I love point and click adventures and narrative driven games and enjoy the occasional visual novel but something about this game didn't chime with me right. Unlike other reviews I've read I didn't think the two dr's had witty banter but rather that they didn't actually like each other all that much. The dialogue was often annoying or a little, dare I say, tedious. I actually struggled a bit to get to grips with what was going on and still don't fully understand the whole way the memories thing works or why I'm wandering around clicking on various things and then having to solve grid puzzles that become annoying more than anything as the game progresses. Other reviewers have commented on how moving and emotional the story is but I just can't seem to connect with the characters. I don't want to be mean about the game as it's obvious the developer has put so much into it but I'm clearly not getting it in the way others have. Shame as this kind of game would normally be right up my street. Maybe I'll keep playing to see if my opinion changes as I'd like to give it a decent change, but then again, there's so many other games out there to play that I wonder whether there's any point spending time playing a game I'm not really enjoying..Version: 1.9

✓ Controls were a deal-breakerI tried playing this twice on my iPad, including once on an international flight when I had very few options for entertainment. Both times I gave up because the controls are terrible. There are two options - touch a place on-screen to go there, or use your left thumb like a joystick. Maybe the joystick thing works better on a smaller screen, but it was just awful, and touch-to-walk was terrible too. Either way, the simple task of walking to an object to interact with it, or simply trying to exit a room via a small door, was full of frustrating moments. I don’t mind slow games or story games or minimalistic games or games with lots of dialog, but I have finally deleted this from both of my devices because I know I’ll never get past those awful controls..Version: 2.6
✓ UhhhIt’s ok. Characters are kinda lame. Doctors are the enjoyable part of the game(if you’re into that humor). I was actually searching for a sad, emotional story game. People reviewed this to be so emotional and they cry. I’m actually somewhat sensitive to games and stories. But this did not get me at all. In fact it was kinda weird. Guy has Asperger’s wife who they shared a somewhat weird and unhappy relationship. She has held a grudge since she was 5 against this guy for not remembering their first meet up. So since she can’t communicate properly makes paper bunnies to make him remember…..Turns out his brother died at that age so he lost his memory from drugs because his mother made him take it? ✓ Walking SimulatorI have never written a review before but I was so disappointed that I had to do one for this game. All these other reviews are raving about how good the story was. I found it to be lacking. It was funny at times, but it was mostly a bunch of groaners. There is very little gameplay here. It is mostly a bunch of cut scenes. I appreciate that someone put a lot of work into this (it at least looks pretty). So for anyone that is into these types of games, this is for you. It wasn’t for me..Version: 2.6

I can’t seem find any instructions either. I’ve now opened the app three times, and each time, I have to go through the same long intro.
