✓ MehI love virtual families and was so excited to see that a third game had come out. But I’m a little disappointed. I’m on my 10th generation and have hardly made any progress because it takes so long to earn money. I also noticed that people with careers who earn lots of money to start off with earn less money once they get promoted which makes no sense to me. Don’t know if that’s a glitch or not, but it’s frustrating. Also, career progress goes so slow. I have read some other reviews and people are saying the same things and the creators are responding with “this is a challenging game”, but it’s getting to the point where it’s unenjoyable. Hopefully they make some updates soon that will allow for more enjoyable gameplay..Version: 1.2.6
✓ Honestly I’m disappointed 😂This game was a good game especially VF2 but this one takes the cake. First off starting with the ghost girl that has no back story but just annoyingly pops up and disappears. Then trying to make a baby takes soooo long for no reason at all. Its hard to make money on this game so your constantly broke unless you wanna actually pay for more coins with actual money or watch ads for as little as 200 coins when everything in the store is expensive as idk what! 🤦🏽♀️ so being broke is not an option😂. Lastly what drove me into deleting this game completely was the age changing... i had a child, one newborn child, Her mom was 24 yrs old and dad was 32 yrs old. I left the game and came back 7 hours later to a now 2 year old little girl. Tell me why the mother is now 37 and the dad is 45😐. Its only been two years that this child has been here, how you go from 24 to 37??? Tell me that please?? That has to be fixed 😂as soon as the child is 15 the mother will be about dead 😂thats sad. Whats really going on with this game though 😭it shouldn’t be hard to make money or else your just lucky enough to find a rich man or woman that makes more than what you do now. 😂.Version: 1.2.6
✓ Very expensiveI loved VF2 and I really enjoy VF3. The only problem I have is how hard it is to earn any money. On top of that, I need to buy them food to keep them alive and pay for things that seem to get broken multiple times a day. So I’m always spending more than I’m making and it feels like I’m never going to be able to start on any of the renovations for the house. Other than that, it’s a good game but I prefer VF2 because it’s easier to get enough money for renovations, food, everything. Update: I just found out how ridiculously expensive the maid and gardening services are. I saw the 1000 coins and thought it was the same as VF2 but they also charge 750 coins DAILY. Which connects back to the previous problem of how hard it is to earn any money in the first place. I highly doubt anyone playing the game makes up to 750 coins so having to charge that much daily for maid and gardening services is ridiculous. Seriously considering deleting VF3 because there isn’t as much to do. VF3 came with some great upgrades in terms of story design but that was apparently at the cost of being able to really do anything in the game without spending insane amounts of real money..Version: 1.0.30
✓ Good but not greatAs a long time fan of all of your games, I’ve been waiting for the release of this certain game since it was announced about five years ago and I have some opinions. I’m really happy with the diversity this new game has included as the other two games were massively lacking in that aspect. I also like the new house upgrades that are possible. However, I’m not so happy with the career side of things. I have a guy who’s an architect and because I’ve just started the game, I don’t have a workshop yet. How are my characters supposed to progress in their workshop careers without this? I also have a woman, who has a kitchen career, but I can’t figure out how to make her work. I drag her around to places in the kitchen to make her work but she just won’t. For this reason I have hardly any money and making money is one of the key components of the game. I was very excited for this and now I’m a little disappointed. If this problem was addressed/fixed then it would be five stars from me..Version: 1.0.12
✓ Good, but could definitely improve!I grew up playing these games and just recently saw that this new third one has come out. I was really excited and downloaded it ASAP. I chose my person and started re-exploring everything. Now, I want to say everything is perfect, but unfortunately it isn’t. I feel like the house upgrades cost a LOT of coins that you will not have for a long time unless you buy coins from the store for real money. I was disappointed at this, because coins are spent very easily, especially if one of your friends gets sick- and let’s not forget about groceries. If something breaks, you can end up paying quite a bit as well. I am glad that there is an option to watch a couple videos a day in order to gain some extra coins, but unfortunately everything is priced so high I’m not getting to where I want to be :( I would love it if things were placed at a cheaper price/it is easier to gain coins or there are more videos to watch. It would make things a lot more fun! I know it’s to encourage people to buy coins to make some profit to continue making this game great, but this would really help those who don’t wish/can’t afford to pay :) I’m almost done with generation 1 and I’m sad to see my starting couple go, but I’ve got 6 kids to choose from to continue the legacy... I guess we’ll see who ends up inheriting everything! I’m looking forward to seeing the new updates with the pets!.Version: 1.0.30
✓ Crashes heaps, removes placed items and invisible dirt smudgesEvery time something big happens in the game for example picking up a rare item (other items are fine) or trying to watch an add for coins or trying to go on the family vacation the game crashes. Also sometimes when I open it after it crashes a whole group of items gets put back into the inventory so I have to spend lots of time just to reorganize everything, which stops the people from working and cooking and on a iPhone it keeps pulling the notifications window down which becomes annoying after the fourth time. There is also invisible dirt smudges apparently because it’s not giving me the goal complete for cleaning all the dirt smudges when I cleaned everything before getting and placing furniture.Version: 1.7.31
✓ Good game, apart from minor issuesI really enjoy this game and I like the changes they’ve made especially being able to now name the family and I’m l looking forward to the pets. However there are a few issues with this game, first of all, the game keeps coming up that there’s an error and asks me to restart the game and will do that repeatedly however it doesn’t work and eventually I have to come off the game and reload it. Secondly, sometimes when I go to buy items like food, clothes etc it freezes on the purchasing and I again have to reload it to actually get the game working again and then have to try to purchase the item again. I really enjoy this game but it’s little things like this that spoil it for me..Version: 1.3.3
✓ There are some glitchesHi Is there anyways to get in contact with the developer as there’s some glitches as they walk through this wall and there’s some wrappers spawning outside. Making money is hard, everything ALWAYS seems to break, it’s honestly frustrating and they always get sick like I’ll hop on play for a bit and help them better then go offline for maybe 10-15 mins and I come back and they are all sick again with different illnesses I also think it’s annoyed how much furniture cost, I’m not spending $2000 on a bed But in saying all this I’m really liking the game, 10/12 year old me use to play for HOURS on the second and first one.Version: 1.0.14
✓ DO BETTER!!!This gaming app has been around for years so I’d expect the graphics to be way better by now. I like the game but it definitely has potential so that’s why I’d only give 3 stars for now unless this a major change in the game. Some of the prices are steep as far a the medicine, food and clothing (since clothing options are limited, I get the same selection of clothes every generation) I would like to see a change on that. Oh yeah, and to improve the house is also pricey I think that’s ridiculous for the simple fact that each generation only lasts for a couple of days so as a gamer I have to spend more money just to keep upgrading my house. I should at-least have more interactions too. The children only get “tickled” and told stories… they should do more productive things like going to school for maybe 45 minutes of in- game time, get rewarded for them going to school which would allow me to get more coins so I can upgrade the house…. I don’t know, just a suggestion. I would like to see more hair selections too. And when are the Pets coming? Why can’t we interact with other people that play the game too. ✓ GlitchMy couple have 5 kids but it says they have 6 under children and it shows a duplicate of their oldest 2 sons (identical, not twins) on the family tree but this kid isn’t anywhere else in my game. I messaged support yesterday but I haven’t heard anything back. I wanted them to have the maximum amount of kids and they’re starting to get a bit older.Version: 2.0.42
✓ Not as good as the other gamesI’ve been playing this a few weeks and it just isn’t as endearing as the previous versions. They have made career progression incredibly slow now which makes it much harder to make money for the crazily expensive upgrades. The ghost girl is really annoying too - I’m on my 8th generation and she is still around. The pets also die really quickly now. My cat only lasted 6 years. Be careful with which careers you choose though as I had a Day Trader who when promoted actually had a huge drop in pay. After contacting the help page I was told that this will happen with some careers and isn’t a bug..Version: 2.0.42
✓ Always a problemI love this game but EVERYTIME without fail something is going wrong with the house.. like as soon as you log in to play there is a burst pipe or ants and it’s literally every single time you log in… like?? ✓ MoneyI really love this game and have had it for a while now. Though there is just one thing that could be improved upon to make it a whole lot more fun. If earning money was easier and if my people earned more as it takes a long time to gain enough money to by anything and it is especially hard when u have to keep hiring people to fix thing in your house every time u go into the game. ✓ Very entertaining for about 2 months.This game started off strong for me, I really enjoyed it, there was a lot to unlock, there was a trip, etc. I was pretty invested and even willing to spend money on the game! However there has been no trips in a long time, changes to the furniture, the goals/challenges, you put tons of money into building and upgrading your resort for other peeps and you can’t even make a profit from it. I want a daily challenge, or maybe new furniture sets. More frequent trips. New careers (make a art/music studio and have a artist career) To much potential, hopefully changes will be made and I can adjust my rating..Version: 2.1.15
✓ Not very creativeOnce I started playing I thought I was adopting a child, for me so then I could get to the point of creating my character, I accidentally clicked adopt on a random child with my Apple Pencil, and I just realised, the child I adopted was me, but I deleted the game re-download it and I can’t create my own character?! ✓ Needs workThe game game is good but there’s the downside that they’re supposed to get an income every day like say your person makes 120 a day but that 120 isn’t deposited every day. Like my person had a baby and there was 200 in the bank. But then I log into the game the very next day and they still have 200 in their bank account neither of the people got their income they supposedly make everyday, but yet my kid is now 3. So the next day I don’t get a paid but yet my kid went from newborn to 3 years old. That means I should have over $40,000 in the bank account. It makes it really hard to earn money to do any upgrades, to buy groceries or medicine, or furniture. Makes me not want to play the game because in order to do something for the family you need money, otherwise you sit around waiting to earn enough money to do one little thing and then you have to wait again to get more money. Or you spend your time sitting watching ad after ad to just get enough money to buy them groceries..Version: 2.1.10

✓ Money and CareersI wish it were easier to make more money, get quicker promotions and actually have my people live long enough to get further than career level 4. Babies take quite some time to “grow” but then before you know it they’re off to college and then you really can’t do much with them until later which is fine but I also wish we had some choice in their career. I’ve noticed that you can have kids work on culinary career but that’s about it.... Also, what’s with the little girl? I’m onto my 4th generation and I still have no idea what relevance she has to anything....Version: 1.0.12
✓ Money grabbing…The actual game is good and have loved the virtual families games for years. However, the in game currency is hard to save and the game is lack lustre with no money; there is an option to purchase in game coins for real money. This used to be quite a cheap option with different amounts of coins to buy… but literally weekly they are putting the price up and the price of coins is almost 5x as much as they originally were… not to mention coins are cheaper in the USA than they are in the UK! Left a sour taste in my mouth and left me not wanting to play…. The game could use more house upgrades, decor options, random events and other things to do and places to travel. Also perhaps some customisation for the characters’ appearances. This game has great potential it’s unfortunate about the greed of the developers… if they would’ve left it at the original prices I would’ve bought coins more times… but now I will never purchase coins again so that’s their loss !.Version: 1.7.31

✓ Useless supportWhen I watch ads for free coins, they give me the incorrect amount (I only get 30 coins per ad) so I reached out TWICE to get some help. The first time I said that I was only getting thirty coins per ad for free coins and they sent me some automated response about how to “maximise earnings” in other ways like making them work on their career. Then I replied and said that it was not what I was asking and that I should be getting 200 coins per ad not 30 coins and they sent the same response..Version: 1.9.35
✓ Alright but...I love this game and commend the improvements however, I noticed it's very hard to earn money! :( they never get their full pay, only a few coins here and there actually in the game play, then if they do get their full payment, you'll login again later and a pipes burst - all funds gone naturally so please fix this - not fair. Not all of us can afford to pay real money and I refuse to - it's just a game! It shouldn't need real money, use more ads if you must so that we can earn!! ✓ The new update…Pets!!!!I like the fact that the creators of the games taught outside of the box by giving families pets cats dogs turtles rats etc. but I do have some complaints since the new update I have noticed some glitches. I go and look at my goals and it’s telling me that I haven’t completed the goals that I know I have completed. I’m more than 12 generations in and one of the first goals I completed with my very first family was having 12 kids and it’s telling me that I did not complete that goal but I can go back and look at the family map and see that I completed that goal. So now I have to achieve that goal again. And when I make my family cook them self dinners they sit down at the table and it glitches… it seems like they’re about to get up and then the system sit them back down at the table And it does that a couple times before they actually get up. Which is really weird because I like to make sure that my family is completely full so I make them sit down two times to eat instead of once therefore they can be completely full and but when I go back to sit them down the second time so they can be completely full the system glitches and won’t let them sit back down to eat. It will make them prepare another meal when there’s already a meal at the table to eat. So the new update comes with glitches that’s the only downside..Version: 1.8.54

I log on every day just to make sure my people have enough food and to see how much money I have, but I don’t really see the point in playing more than 5 minutes a day because nothing really happens. I’ll get an email or a phone call, clean up a mess, something’s always broken, someone’s always sick. It gets really repetitive. I don’t see why anyone would play longer than that unless they’re waiting for things to show up in the yard which gets boring. Everything in this game is so expensive and they love to take your money away as fast they can by having the family be sick or have something break. I also hate the mandatory ads that pop up. ✓ Pay to play 🤦♀️My friend and I use to play virtual families 2 in middle school and all I remember is us changing the times and dates on our phones to get more money. This game is based around everything costing WAY more money then ur little people make a day. My little character makes 90$ a day but a tv in the game cost 2 thousand dollars? The only way to get money in this game TRULY is by watching 10, 30 second annoying ads. A pool in the game cost 14 thousand coins? I mean I get it, u have to work up to it it’s the whole point of the game but it gets to a point where it’s like okay I’m bored bc everything cost way too much money and u can’t do much if u don’t have money. Just make things a little cheaper so things can actually MOVE in the game. It feels like such a long process. If things were cheaper then obtaining those things would be easier and the game would be more fun but like once u buy all the cheap career upgrades the only ones left cost 10k-14k which takes way too long to save up for and at that point why would I wanna waste all my money on that? ✓ Not that greatNot much you can do in this game really but watch. Minimal interactions/controls. No home button or buttons anywhere. I’m having trouble with the buttons at the top of the screen e.g dragging food down as it always drags my iPhone menu down instead. It’s really frustrating. Same goes for the decorating button. ✓ Update broke the gameThe most recent up date has made the game unplayable. My family has disappeared from the house. The age is set to 00, the health indicator is set to text. I can open clothes and it is glitching. I have tried exiting the game and completely closing it. Still won’t work. Tried pausing the game and when I opened it, it wasn’t paused. The special event is stuck in 5:00 and you can’t even click on it if you wanted to. I’d suggest updating more than monthly if there’s going to be big additions like adding in the tent and whatever this special event is..Version: 1.4.11
✓ Ad watching simulator, but a good onePositives; *The storyline aspect is an interesting new feature and definitely adds a bit more substance to the game. *The animations and graphics are great, basically vf2 with a fresh coat of paint and a few extra features but I like it when a game doesn’t change itself too much. The art style of the game is uniquely charming, in its own way. *One of the major differences is the erasure of time travelling (or moving your own clock to speed up the game, cheating essentially). This makes the game far more immersive and I will admit, I check in on the game every few hours now rather than play and finish the game in a few hours then delete it. Negatives; *The storyline concept and plot line is definitely there but it’s a bit lacking, it’s easy to follow but feels a bit incomplete and inconclusive. It feels very undeveloped at this stage. *Some of the animations such as the running are a bit... obscure. *I think taking away ‘time travelling‘ has done the game a disservice. I think the option should be available. Without ‘time travelling’, earning money is incredibly difficult and there’s always problems to spend money on (not to mention the upgrades and furniture!) so the game basically becomes ad watching simulator which is... not great. Especially if the game is catered to a younger audience (which I would say it is) who aren’t able to spend real money..Version: 1.4.13

✓ The other two are better.I gave this one an honest effort but after 5 or so generations I have renovated almost nothing, have almost no furniture, and only about 3000 coins. The farthest my family has gotten in a career is a 2 with several upgrades to their work space. I’m guessing it is set like this so you have to watch the adds to progress. ✓ I like the game a lot but….Why on earth does my two year old have huge hoop earnings and a big busty chest! I want my ‘children’ to look like children please! Also it is near to impossible to earn decent money within the game. I wouldn’t mind purchasing perks for the game if it wasn’t so stingy to begin with, this puts me off paying anything to the developers. Daily wages are ridiculously low in comparison to what items within the game are costing. I can not even furnish one whole room never mind my families whole home. Obviously they don’t want to make an enjoyable game for their long time users, they want to squeeze as much money as they can out of you for the short time you bother playing this version. I love all the Virtual Family and Villager games. They could keep your interest, but also passively continue while you slept. I love the added resort, it adds a lot of interest and is my favorite area to hang out in the game. This is my favorite design of the Virtual games. However, I am afraid that I am going to get bored for other reasons this time. The only real way to earn money is to actively sell collectibles. I really miss the daily interest, that was super helpful, especially as you got in higher levels with more expensive upgrades. It’s seems odd that you would take that away, and also make the praise and scold essentially stop working. You can praise and feed candy a million times, and your people aren’t going to work unless you make them. You can scold, and they will just do the exact same thing over and over. The kids won’t stop jumping on the bed. I hate browsing web and the adults still do that at least 70% of the time even though I scold them every time. Since you can no longer form your people’s behaviors, you can no longer progress in careers, and you don’t earn money from interest, the only other option is to play 12 hours a day selling collectibles..Version: 2.1.06

✓ Good Game, hard to earn coins..This game is so much fun, I’ve played all of them. However, it’s so hard to earn coins. Why is everything so expensive? I’m on gen 5 and have barely been able to upgrade my house, can’t afford a pet, and have minimal furniture/upgrades. I use the video option a lot but I have to watch a ton of them to get anywhere. There’s a way to get additional coins by completing surveys or registering for websites but they are NEVER that easy. For example it says “one survey” but for whatever reason they kick me from that survey and I do 5 or 6 before giving up. I’ve tried 10 times to do the additional coin options and I have never gotten to the end of any of them to claim my coins. My little lady makes $900 a day from her job and it’s not enough. All my little people are sick or needing food and it goes so fast. I also think we should be able to go back on the marriage options. If we have 5 we should be able to click back and forth through them to decide rather than either reject or marry. ✓ My reviewThis game is so boring it takes forever to get money and you can’t do anything without money. It would be better if we could get them to do more things. When I play all I’m doing is waiting for something to happen but it doesn’t happen. I hate waiting for the money to come because when it does it’s so little amount. When I want to buy something it takes so long. When I do get money and I try to wait for more to get something expensive because everything good is a lot of money but, when I try to save I have to buy something else to help them it takes so much money and it takes even longer to save the money. Then I DONT EVEN GET THE THING I WANT. This game needs to give me more money at a time and faster. The only thing u can do to get money is work on your career (doesn’t give you a lot of money) or wait hours for a pay. How am I supposed to buy something if I have to wait hours to even get it? Also you can barley control them their needs to be multiple choices to the things you want them to do or else it would get you to do something else that you could also do. ✓ Could use work 😬 but still good 👍So I’ve been a fan of v.Familys for awhile and it seems great but this one could use work, my first problem is the ghost girl 👧 it seems interesting but there’s not a lot of detail for her story we don’t know anything about her expect she 5 and she’s a ghost and looking for someone or something? The story of her could be so interesting! 🤩 all she needs is more of a story maybe we could interact with her? The mini people could maybe see the ghost and kinda freak out? Or we could know what she’s looking for. Second problem the character design I’m not a big fan of the designs now I don’t know if I’m just picky or if I have a logical problem with them no offense to the design workers you all did a wonderful job just not my type of character... Also the money it’s so hard to earn and all of the stuff is so expensive, also when u earn money and go off most likely it won’t be there if u get it back on same with children.... ✓ UI inconsistentHi I’m an app developer and love playing your game but can I make a suggestion to add a margin around the buttons on the top of the screen and the bottom nav and then any time something is near the bottom of the screen or the top (including the video for 100 coins) it has no margin. My phone cuts off the buttons and it makes it hard to tap. Also, the reflection effect you have on the buttons is kinda bad UI. I always think I can scroll for more button options. ✓ Good game but needs tweakingI’m a long time fan of virtual families and I really like how customisable this game is as well as the inclusion of different sexualities. My main issue is how my people never seem to work on their careers while I’m not playing. I don’t have time to leave the game open and make them work for hours and if I did it would just get boring. ✓ Not much fun 😭I loved the VF2 game and played it for years. I randomly saw the VF3 app and gave it a try. Honestly I’m now on my 8th family generation and I’ll be deleting the app until things get fixed. Everytime I open the app, something in my house is broken and it’s so expensive to fix things. Or there are bugs and there needs to be an exterminator called. It wouldn’t be that big of a deal, except it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get promotions and make money. Everyone we can select is between 25-32 or thereabouts, with most being between 26-30. To me that isn’t an accurate representation of real life. Some people are 20 when they start their families, some are 40. This isn’t reflected in the game and it’s frustrating that we always have to start with our character being 25 or 27, or whatever. ✓ Virtual Families 3 is the best!I have been playing this free franchise since 2012. I have played each version to the maximum many times so I am used to the quirks and achievement style. This version is honestly the best, there’s a different story line for the house and more variety of characters. Happy with the breaking gender norms, with the ability to share infant care while working and sexual orientation with “Cinder” that gives variety of love (M/F) interests. I have an iphone 6, so the graphic are a little slow for my 🐏 but the game is still very smooth for logging in 3-6 times a day. Those asking to reset the family: In setting where you find the sound > option to evict family and start over fresh! Lol sometimes I am evil or they annoy me so I evict them to upgrade my house features. ✓ Been playing since 2010I am an avid Virtual family player. Been playing virtual families, villagers, tycoon, all the games for as long as they’ve been out. With that being said, the added upgrades being all the home upgrades, the resort, the trips that come up to take your family on. I think they’re all great. I’ve come so far that every new generation I start, my old ones have to delete. I can’t upgrade the house any more or gardens, everything is bought. Almost all of the achievements I have completed. I really play to pass time no longer for enjoyment and I was thinking of some fun things that the game could try to incorporate. The kids leave the house for school between 18-20 but what about school before? Make a “go to school” like you can go to the resort. You can send them to boarding school, but I’d like it if you sent them, you become the child and actually go away to boarding for awhile and you get to leave when you choose. The meals, i wish you could have like a dessert option, families can play family games. With pets I think there’s a lot more you can add, with more pet kinds and activities to do, like walking them, actually going to the vet. I feel like all of the things for you to do have honestly stayed the same over the years, things have been added yes but it’s been a long time for a big update. Hoping one will come soon. I put them in career area, they say they are working and suddenly say no. I’ve had this couple for 6 “years” and they are both on level one. Previous generations were at least level 6 in 6 “years”. Prices for furniture, pets etc also increased. Was really enjoying game and spent real $$, now I am frustrated and thinking of deleting the app. I did contact support and they responded promptly, even if their response wasn’t very helpful. However, it’s difficult to enjoy playing this game. Earning money is unnecessarily difficult; peeps don’t work on their careers nearly as much as they did in the first two games, so work income is very unreliable. You may be relying on selling collectibles, watching ads, and/or spending real life money to earn a decent amount of coins. As such, adoption is very expensive in this game, which unfortunately makes having a same-sex couple very costly, even if they only adopt ONE child. I’ve been hearing about severe game glitches (typically for people who have had several generations) that have yet to be fixed, issues like children going missing, furniture disappearing, peeps getting stuck, peeps not aging, and even peeps getting partnered with a clone of themselves or their sibling. Hearing about these issues on top of the ones I’ve experienced make me reluctant to invest any actual money into this game. ✓ Fairly goodI’ve played the other two games so I didn’t hesitate to download number 3..However in the last two weeks my whole family have been disappearing or when they die I’m unable to start a new generation.. I’ve also bought two $7.99 packs and on Monday had to delete the app and restart from scratch as my family disappeared.. ✓ Money and pricingThe free money you get should be higher than 70 coins because food goes fast then you have to buy so much furniture and the prices for some of the stuff are so expensive and it annoys me when I have no money left and have 4 sick kids and only 2 beds and I want to build an expansion there should be daily discounts on food everyday and more punishments for the kids like of they keep taking food out the fridge and you scold them they keep going back so maybe like a 2-5 minute timeout also I would like to see the younger ones crawl or have some emotion and the parents to pick them up and snuggle with them.Version: 1.9.35
✓ It’s ok but no big advance on old versionsThe game is entertaining enough but there’s no real big improvement on past versions. The furniture is pretty much the same. Could do with more variations and more lights! It’s quite dark in the house at night. The ghost child is getting a bit annoying. She randomly pops up looking for something but doesn’t do anything different. Her storyline is slow to progress. Each time I log on for the day, something needs fixing in the house. That gets boring. And why is it when something breaks, the whole family frets about it, rushes over to the problem and then lies on the floor in reaction to say a burst waterpipe?! But it’s ok..Version: 1.0.12
✓ 3 stars seems fairI have deleted and re opened this game a few times. I enjoy VF and I have had positive experiences with the support team when I needed it. Only, I do get tired of it. It is so hard to earn coins. I didn’t have a problem actually purchasing coins before but then they raised the prices and it is no longer worth spending money on it. It keeps getting worse. Who’s been making these decisions? It is actually hurting the experience. This time around I spent five generations saving coins so that I could build the home, but in one swoop I am now down to very little, not even able to afford food. To sit through adds in order to gain coins is excruciating. It takes a long time, as it is the main source of coins and I have to endure 10 or so adds to make the game work, plus the add they punish us to go through unless we pay more actual money to make them stop. I know we need challenges in this game, but the coins shouldn’t be this hard when the furniture and food and everything else is also too hard to attain. I don’t think I can keep the app, once again. It consumes too much time and energy to keep it going. Not worth it, no matter how fun and wholesome the game may be.Version: 2.1.07

✓ Ghost girl is STILL IN THE HOUSE!It’s so sad because I absolutely love this game but the one thing that annoys me are the glitches. It took me weeks to collect all the toy souvenirs and once I got to the last one the “doll” the ghost girl was supposed to disappear and she never did she has been here ever since. I even contacted support and nobody helped me and I have other smaller glitches to but nothing annoys me more than that ghost girl. Even after I got all the toys she never left. ✓ Good for a few weeksThis game was fine for all of 2 weeks. Honestly once you hit a certain point within the game there is nothing to do or to progress towards besides buying furniture for your house that you cannot even interact with. It also takes forever to make a save money not to mention EVERY. TIME. You log in multiple family members are sick and you have to spend hundreds of dollars on medicine. That’s the thing that bothers me the most. It doesn't really matter if you take care of your family or not, they still get sick, I kid you not like more than once a day I’m treating them for some sort of illness. And when they only make $500 a day, why am I having to spend $80 on medication for EACH person in my family. Like at this point the only way not to lose money is to watch adds which is just a cheap gimmick. I’m honestly sad though because this could be such a great game if the developers cared enough to work on these things issues. I’ve been playing everyday for 2 months now and I’m done bc there’s nothing left to do in the game and I’m sick spending so much of my time only for the game to force me to waste my hard earned savings for no reason..Version: 2.1.11
✓ So very disappointing! Not what it’s cracked up to be.This game is not as exciting as it’s being made to seem. Pretty much everything is still the same right down to the furniture designs and things cost a lot more. Also, for the life of me, I cannot get my little peoples work progress pass level 2!! No matter who, or what career they have it just will NOT level up. Which is annoying because everything cost so much and they’re not earning much money. The levelling up aspect is 1 million times better in the older versions than the new one. Honestly, it’s ridiculous. It’s almost like the developers have just become money grabbers. ✓ Tragic , had to deleteThis game could of been so good. However it’s so similar to the older versions yet seems to be much more expensive and much more slower/laggy than the older games. Not something you’d expect from the newest version. It glitches and has game errors all the time. I bought my little people medicine and food and then it had a error and made me come off the game and I come back on to it with less money and no groceries or medicine! I also found the ghost thing weird and annoying. ✓ Price changesHello I am absolutely in love with this app but I got on it this morning and my old family passed away so I just casually adopted one of the children and I didn’t have much food left and I see that the food prices have changed drastically so I just decided that I was going to get some more coins by watching an add and it was changed to 100 instead of 200 so I look at some more things and I see that getting a maid was 2300 dollars I used to be 1000 and but I am happy that adoption was changed to 1500 instead of 4000 but I would be happy if you changed the prices back because I don’t think it’s truly fair.Version: 2.1.05
✓ Career Progression Demolished - Money GrabListen, I love most of the features added on to Virtual Families 3. I love being able to switch who holds the baby. I love how customizable the house is. I love that you keep the outfits that your family members had. So far, I also like the events. I like being able to have more children. I really like how the genetics work. However, all of these things I like are completely eclipsed by how ruined the career progression is. You can’t expect to make reasonable amounts of money from your family’s careers. If you want to do anything in the game you MUST sell tons of collectibles, watch tons of ads, or just straight up buy coins with real money. None of these things are fun. What WAS fun was watching my people advance in their careers. Im not even against in-app purchasing, but it is egregious in this edition. It makes an otherwise solid game feel like a cash grab. Fix the careers I BEG. I really want to like this game. I really want to play it and I’ll even watch ads still. But they need to work on their careers while you’re away if you’re encouraging that behavior. That game mechanic is a MUST. Until then I will not be playing..Version: 2.1.05
✓ Screen is too big for my iPhoneI loved VF 1&2 and was really excited to find out there was a third version available to play. Unfortunately when I downloaded the app, I have been unable to play as the playing screen is too big for my phone screen. All the buttons that are at the side like the store and inventory are cut off by the edge of the screen so I can only see half the button and are really hard to press. When I do manage to press it, I can pull anything out of the inventory as it always enables my phone drag down notification centre. I’ve tried rotating screen, holding and dragging and other ways to get it to work but no such luck. I can’t now play because I can’t access anything from the inventory or the groceries so my people just end up starving. If you could reply and get this fixed that would be great and I will by happy to change my rating and get playing! Thank you..Version: 2.0.45

✓ It’s good but....So me and my best friend would always play virtual family’s 2 and really LOVED it!! We were waiting for virtual families 3 and then we downloaded it! We were super excited and started playing then we decided to take a break from the game so we deleted the apps. We wanted to restart our games as we had made some mistakes we didn’t want but when we re downloaded it kept our places from before and there isn’t a restart family button so if you could fix that then I would definitely play again! ✓ Minimalist effortsThese have to be the laziest, most unimaginative developers ever. Instead of a NEW VF version, they took VF2 and threw a few new things on top of it. The furniture is all the same. Ugliest furniture ever. The clothing is the same ugly stuff. The new things they added are all flawed or glitchy. They added a ghost girl, which is interesting at first. But 17 generations in, she’s still there. I found the doll about 5 gens in, but the event was interrupted by a burst pipe so the little people hopped around like fools instead of retrieving the doll. They added same sex marriage but then doubled the price of adoption. They finally added multiple races, but the women of color refuse to work! Was that on purpose?? The new house is large and awkward shaped. The furniture doesn’t sit well against the walls. The new curtains don’t fit the windows. And the little people are so boring. They smell the room, dry their feet, wish for stuff, adjust the poster, etc. Seriously?? It’s been years since VF2. You can’t come up with something better than drying feet? Why can’t they build their own furniture or make friends? They never evolve. The game never evolves. Why bother with a new game if you’re only going to put the most minimalist effort?
