✓ ?I brought this game and it seemed like a good choice. The graphics are good and the detail is awesome but.. why can’t I control the flaps, the throttle and the gear? Every time I take off or come in to land the throttle automatically manically adjusts and the heat DOES NOT come down until I’ve flown around for a bit. The flaps also stay on auto and DONT change to MANUAL when I’m flying and it is very frustrating. What’s the point of flying if the game goes everything for you..Version: 2020.3.04
✓ Ok but a bit misleadingHad high hopes for this game after seeing the ad for it. Was disappointed when downloaded it however. Firstly it is a little misleading in that the price you pay only includes two aircraft, the rest you have to purchase, and none of these two are the aircraft in the app logo (F18). Secondly the version only has a free flight mode which is disappointing. Finally, it would appear that the game does not fit correctly on the iPhone XR as some of the edges and controls are missing. An OK game, looks good but I wouldn’t have paid for it had I known the above in advance..Version: 2020.2.06
✓ Game Feels Like It’s In BetaI bought 2 other Carrier Landing apps before where the controls were fluid, no bugs and plenty of content/missions to do. While this game has better graphics, that’s also where it ends. There are too many glitches and not much content outside “free flying” around. You should avoid this app till they get the bugs straightened out and add real content (not just planes). For developers: For starters, I’m running the game on an iPhone X so it should be fine to meet minimum requirements. I noticed there is a glitch when the sun gets into view. All of a sudden, the plane glitches and rolls around and the screen starts to show weird pixelated geometric figures. There is also a problem with the calibration of the controls. It doesn’t seem to react well with the gyroscope. For example, if I try to pull up, I have to literally turn the phone’s screen in a direction to a point, I’m not even able to see the screen itself. Another thing, I shouldn’t be able to take off in the middle of the ocean. The ocean acts like additional runway. If this is supposed to be a flight simulator, there are certain basic limitations of where you can fly..Version: 2.61

✓ No Updates In Almost a YearI’ve had this game for quite some time now. I haven’t played in months due to the near impossibility of air to air refueling. This week I decided to jump back in and enjoy the realism again. But low and behold, another glitch has seemed to weasel its way in. For some odd reason after 30 seconds of flight, my plane begins to lose control after I try to bank right more than 15° and then it never stops. Aggravating. I understand this game is run by just one or two people, and the realism put into everything takes a long time to complete, but this is out of hand now. No updates in 8 months and now the game ending glitches has me leaning very heavily to deleting the game..Version: 2020.3.03

✓ The online multiplayerI’ve been playing this game for a while and I was happy they added the multiplayer cause I was getting bored of fight bots that did absolutely nothing when shot at except for turning a little bit and once a while flare. But back to what I was saying about the multiplayer is that I want to play it but there’s no servers unless u have to pay for and I don’t feel like spending more money after I just got all the jets to find no servers or once in a life time find one server that has absolutely no one in it. In my option they should make it where there’s already servers up in the multiplayer with mission like attach this point or bomb this point if they ever add bombs for the f18 and other jets that can carry bombs.Version: 2020.5.05
✓ No free combatFrom what I know there is no free way to dogfight/engage in combat because the free planes have no way to load missiles. If the game had some free combat would be way better, but on the other hand the flight mechanics and graphics are really good.Version: 2020.5.02
✓ Armed Air Forces is much better!The updates have added multiplayer, which is cool except for the fact that it is paywalled with a time limit. But the updates also made it so that if you had paid for an aircraft, you would NOT be able to use that aircraft offline. In other words, the update is awful! Armed Air Forces is TBH a better sim than this one… and it’s free (whereas I had to pay for this sim) and it has more free aircraft! Additionally this simulator has some major flaws! - You cannot crash. (In Armed Air Forces your aircraft explodes if you hit the ground too hard.) - The cockpit while nice looking, are completely static. (Gauges like the altimeter do not function. In Armed Air Forces they function.) - The free aircraft have zero weapons. (In Armed Air Forces all the free aircraft have weapons!) - You can only shoot down harmless target drones (unless you pay for multiplayer) so there’s no real combat. (Armed Air Forces lets you select a number of different target that shoot back.) Pros: - The avionics are cool. (They’re not shown in the cockpit though, but as an overlay) - Graphics are decent. (The onscreen touch controls aren’t intrusive either, as they’re minimalist style.) - Weather simulation is nice. …yep that’s about it. Overall 1/5 Remove the online only restrictions… or I want a refund..Version: 2020.5.04
✓ My honest reviewFirst of all, let me say this is my first review so don’t be harsh. Let me just say after the new update the game will not load. I’ve tried restarting my device and the game simply will not load, which is why I gave it a two, so please fix it if you can. Also please add joystick control(on screen joystick) as tilting my device gets very annoying and glitchy at times. GRAPHICS=REALLY GOOD GAMEPLAY=REALLY GOOD CONTROLS=VERY ANNOYING All I ask is if you can add an on screen joystick(you can choose between it and tilting) and the fact that the game won’t load after the new update..Version: 2020.1.01

✓ Awesome but horrible gameSo I played this game a few months ago, purchased all of the jets, and it was an awesome game, but then I stopped for a while, and I just went to play it now to see if there were any new updates, and I saw that I had to restore it, so I tapped on the app but it said that it was unable to, so I deleted the app and then downloaded it again, and I was like, “Huh okay, seems the same”, and then I go to play it and see that all of the jets that I had purchased prior to this are locked, and then I go to the shop and see all of the jets are locked again and the price is on them and they don’t say, “owned” so that just made me very mad, but other than that it’s a great game, I just wish that wouldn’t happen though..Version: 2020.3.01

✓ Terrible, DO NOT BUY. You get 2 planes and have to pay again if you want other aircraft.I have played, and continue to play numerous flight simulator games, both military and civilian. If I didn’t pay for this game, I would have immediately uninstalled it. Everything about this game is bad. From the terrible plane handling characteristics, to the fact that there is basically no actual content, other than free flight. Even at the lowest setting, the planes roll at a rate that is basically unmanageable. The control layout and how you access the various plane systems is not very functional or user friendly, even though the systems they do allow you to manage are very limited. The list of bad features in this game are endless, but the cherry on top is you pay for a horrible game, but only get access to 2 planes. If you want to use any of the other planes in the game, you have to pay for them separately as well. If I could give a rating lower than one star I would..Version: 2020.2.06

Camera interface is a little clunky, not easy to trigger. The aircraft models need to completed, more maps could be added, and most importantly, we need dogfights, because shooting at AI that do nothing gets boring after a while. ✓ Potential to be one of the bestSo far I’ve broke down and purchased all aircraft to hopefully show support or this game. At this time I’m using a iPad Pro 10.5. So far what they have with graphics and beginning of basic gyro movement the game is amazing. But unfortunately it still plays like a beta version. A lot of glitching. Doesn’t seem to let me push the nose down, I have to invert the aircraft and do from there. Seems to do fine when you first start the game but within first maneuvers it seems the gyro goes wonky, let’s not get into the fact if you pause it and go bk into game, recalibration doesn’t seem to work or anything. So I just restart the game. But man is there a lot and mean allot of potential in this game. Hopefully they will continue to update it and fix all these glitches and make the sim slot more smoother and dependable. As of rt now I purchased the F18C&D, J-15A, and the F22A. So basically bought em all to show my support for game and developers. If the problems are fixed soon I can pretty much say I’d get all the new aircraft they say are In development because when you first start the flight each jet does act differently to how it would normally fly in real world, but then it glitches. Yet If it’s not fixed by time new aircraft come out I may stay with what I have now. So hope they fix it. And then I’ll also give a 5* rating.Version: 2.76

✓ Loads of potentialThis game has so much potential, yet it’s lacking in many aspects, like firstly not all aircraft have weapons (that’s a let down), second you literally cannot see a thing at night time (I recommend adding lights or night vision), third the fact that there’s only a few jets to select from, and there’s only two free ones (the only ones that don’t have weapons ofc) also you should definitely add a VTOL feature to the F35, and I’m sure there’s a plethora of other problems with this game that I can’t think of right now, but until these problems are fixed, I doubt anyone is choosing this game, like the multiplayer feature is deemed useless because nobody plays this game at all, so there’s no real reason to have it, I really wish these problems would get resolved because I see loads of potential in this game, like the graphics are really good, the physics could use some tweaking but good, and has some pretty cool features (missing quite a few important ones) but fix these problems and you’ll have yourself a great game.Version: 2020.5.04

✓ What I wish would be added (edited)The game is great. The graphics are great & it is a lot of fun compared to my other sims. The only thing I wish they would add, well things: a Rhino, Viper, & a Eagle (the Echo variant). I would buy those as add ons to the game & enjoy the different variety of airframes to play with. Well as of the latest update, the F-18 can’t even get off of the ground before the left wing dips, nose kicks right, then hops up. After which it comes back down then doesn’t left the ground until about 200KIAS, then IMMEDIATELY departs; performing a series of flips regardless of what inputs are put into the control surfaces. Then it finally hits the ground bouncing like a rubber superball that you get from a vending machine for a quarter. This is a very big disappointment as the F-18 is what I mainly fly in this sim. This needs a very serious & immediate fix ASAP. It would also really be nice to have at least an F-18E/F & an F-16N in this sim as well as an Eagle since you already have a Raptor in this sim. The debacle with the F-18 in the latest update drops this from a 4-⭐️ rating down to a 2-⭐️ rating for me..Version: 2020.4.03
✓ Unparalleled mechanics and graphics, controls lackingThe best mobile simulator I have used in terms of graphics and flight physics/mechanics. Would be a 5 star review, but the controls are really horrible. Horrible to the point where I’ve stopped using the app. I can’t get any enjoyment out of it when i have to focus on which button does what.
