Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp for Positive User Reviews

Fantastic game but....First of all this game is fun simple and enjoyable. Graphics are clean and pretty. However, I do have a few things to suggest... It would be great if we could sell/gift clothes and furniture to our friends. I have so many double ups or things that just aren’t ‘me’ that would suit a friend or two instead and vice versa. Secondly I have received everything I can out of the three plain cookies. Is it possible to add other new plain cookies that you can receive from the campers (animals) visiting when you help them out? Thank you - this game has provided hours of entertainment to me and my kids!.Version: 3.4.1

I’ve been waiting for this!!I can never get enough of the Animal Crossing franchise! It’s always fantastic 😍💕.Version: 1.0.0

Such a amazing app. Would recommend to anyone! This app is honestly amazing. This is my favourite mobile game, it is so much fun, enjoyable and entertaining. There is weekly events, happy home designer feature, complete requests for you animals and much more. But there is some things I dislike like the repetitive events, I think that you should use Flick with Bug offs! That would be amazing, just like in Animal Crossing New Horizons that Flick does bug offs. And you should also do some more raffles, I loved the fact that you did a gyroid raffle back in July 2021. I also love the fact that you can send gifts to your friends and send stamps as it makes the game more enjoyable ^^ I think pocket camp should also have some mini games, like you can play hide and seek with your villagers at your campsite or a obstacle course for maybe like a free cookie/50 leaf tickets/bells/etc every month. I also wish that there are more clothing items at the market place and especially items/clothing in the common cookies like Timmy cookies. I also love the shovelstrike quarry but maybe every 5 people that help you you should have 1 extra mine. And sometimes I also wish that in the furniture and fashion plan you can choose any collection item that you want (only once every month) And I love the fact that daily there is restocked cookies every single day but it can get quite annoying if it’s common cookies like 1 week in a row. Once again I completely love this game and I do not regret playing..Version: 5.0.1

Campsite Expansion?I’ve had this game for a few days now, and so far it’s been pretty fun. Some requests are pretty repetitive, but getting the resources for said requests can be fun and slightly time-consuming (no complaints here! I like that.) I’m currently standing at Level 16, almost 17 and I can do just about everything, in reference to my campsite itself. As far as I know, no matter what level you reach, there is no option to expand your campsite (Like you can with your camper.) I wish I could, as inviting animals to your camp can get impossible as there’s simply not enough room to place the items needed in order for them to visit. Other than that, I have no problems with this game. It has the charm of the original games and there is quite a bit to do. I suppose part of me wishes there was more because again, it gets repetitive, but I’m also pretty content with what we have as they’ve done an amazing job. Again, just wish there was an option for campsite expansion!!.Version: 1.4.1

A 3ds/ds experience on a phone.Okay so I played like 30 minutes into the game and I liked it very much. I saw a lot of customization that can be done, stuff that can be unlocked, and places to explore that is pretty similar to the 3ds/ds version of the game. There is one issue though. After I played for thirty minutes a message popped up about my connection with the support code [802-4009] and I can’t play the game. I know its not my connection because I can play games that requires internet connection and I play them buttery smooth. With that out of the way its actually a good game and a great mobile version too. A great introductory game to the original handheld version if you are not familiar or just new to the game. As of now this game is not looking like a pay to win based on the 30 minutes that I’ve played game, because you just have to wait for your furniture to get crafted and you use the premium game currency to reduce the crafting time. Aside from the crafting you can buy furnitures that unlocks characters from the 3ds versions as visitors on your camp. Gameplay wise its similar but different from the 3ds/ds version of the game as you could craft, gather resources, fish, catch bugs and explore but you have to wait for a timer to cool down so you could gather resources from the same tree and fishing spot again..Version: 1.0.0

Amazing game but...I’m in love with the game but a few things that need to be added or removed. The huge tents that we are supposed to “sleep” in when we first get in the game, is the first thing I’m gonna talk about. So, I personally like the idea of them, it’s just that we should be able to go into them. We should be able to sleep through the night and wake up the next morning. We should also be able to decorate them. #2: Leaf tickets. I don’t like them. Or at least, how hard they are to get. I know that you need a way to get money, but can’t they be a little easier to get? You must get this question a lot, so let me list reasons why you should make them easier to get. 1. A bug that I seem to have, I spent two hours yesterday trying to get 100 leaf tickets. I was able to, but my fingers hurt after that, so I took a break. When I logged back in, they were all gone. The game saved and everything, but no leaf tickets. 2. How I find people complaining. I heard at least 20-30 people talking about how they might delete the game. The can’t get any leaf tickets. They said, “I’m gonna find a number to call and leave them a b*tchy review.” I agree. 3. How you can buy them but you can’t buy bells. I don’t understand why. Yes, bells are easy to get but what is your just starting out? And you don’t know how the game works? You want to buy bells but you can’t..Version: 3.0.2

Great Game Whether A Previous Fan Or Newcomer!Animal Crossing Pocket Camp delivers a perfect handheld rendition of the other games in the Animal Crossing series. It takes a different approach to the series while still retaining the essential aspects that make it feel like an Animal Crossing game. It may lack in playability due to timers and overall less activities to partake in. But however, players can’t expect too much given the game has the extremely low price tag of free. The game makes the player feel unique being able to customize several things to their liking including their camper and the camp itself. One gripe I myself have regarding the game is the diversity of the animals themselves. The animals seem to exhibit recycled voice lines across different animals making each animal feel less and less unique. Another thing is the market box access. Players can only access the market box after visiting the camp of their friend instead of being able to purchase off their friends list. I understand that this is to encourage visiting camps and giving incentive to give kudos to other camps but it is a bit inconvenient for those impatient or have poor connection to the internet. Finally, being able to visit friends camps in real time would be a cool feature or even being able to play mini games with them. In conclusion, Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is a great game capable of delivering hours of fun and spurring player creativity regardless of whether it lacks in minor features..Version: 1.0.0

Awesome!Love this game, so excited to see it on mobile. However sometimes it's quite slow to load certain things and I get a communication error every now and then.Version: 1.0.0

A lot of potentialI’m enjoying the game so far and it’s one of your best mobile games. I have no complaints but there is something that’s bugging my game like I have no sound or music in my game. All the audio in my apps are fine but I have no audio in my game. Other than that it’s a wonderful app to play. There’s a lot of improvement and potential to be done in future up dates. Especially the market box. I enjoy making a business and getting other items from other players and I believe there is a lot of potential to it. I suggest you should add a chat box for friends so you can ask what items they need and it brings the community in closer. I also suggest that you should allow more stuff to be put in the market box like unwanted furniture, clothes ect. Overall 10/10 for me..Version: 0.9.0

Cute game! This game is very cute and I love the fact that there are lots of things to buy. But I wish that you got more leaf tickets . But overall it is the best game on my phone! Hope you enjoy it to!.Version: 4.4.1

Amazing but..I love every feature and would not make one single complaint about the things that are in the game! However... Most of the seasonal special items, such as clothing, are aimed to more stereotypically feminine or female expressing individuals. For example, the flower collection comes with mostly dresses, and a traditionally female hair cut with a flower crown. Now don’t get me wrong, I am in no way sexist and would happily have the dress or a bob. But I would also like the wider option to have a flower crown on a more traditionally male character after all the failed attempts of trying to look like a male in real life lol. Perhaps in future, provide for more male players as I have noticed this is a recurring pattern. I do appreciate all that is given, still. They’re all fantastic and adorable. Wish I could trade or sell them, as I just accidentally wasted 100 leaf tickets not having realised that the crown did not come without the bob but never mind..Version: 3.1.1

Enjoyable & Laidback (+ Some Feedback)I really enjoy ACPC! It’s very fun & I love its aesthetic. There’s lots of different features and items. I simply love all of it as a whole. The things you’re able to do for friends is really broad compared to some other games! However, there’s some other features I’d like to see. A lot of animals from the same category use the same phrases. It gets repetitive and a little boring. Adding more dialogue would be great! The map is also a bit small, so adding new locations (possibly to unlock) would be great! Here are some suggestions: mountain (to hike, collect shiny stones, & steel?), a farm to plant vegetables in your campsite (or add plots to your garden for this, & an activity center. An activity center could be used to build special amenities. Like a gym, skatepark, and library. Another detail is the fact that your campsite & cabin can only host 8 animals. There’s such a wide variety of animals that this is a very small amount. I think being able to expand your campsite and cabin to host more animals would be amazing! Different buildings to host more animals is the last thing. Maybe like a cruise boat, beach house, or island (an island could be something unlocked after clearing some export islands?) They would have different floors like cabins & campers. That’s all! Overall these are just small details. ACPC is a game that I am very entertained by and deserves these 5 stars 💕.Version: 3.2

BestThis game is already good but here are some things you could do to make it better because I can’t get a nentendo switch for new horizons put fish tanks but you can put only the fish you catch in them and same with all the other creachers you can get oh and you should add pet horses cows and sheep maybe even chickens because their are fish and insects. Also their an’t enough places to go maybe add a farm we’re you could keep all your animAls I said before. you could add a zoo jarrasic park a park a caffe and maybe drop the price off the forchoon cookie because their are so many goods ones and I can never afford them and add more fish ponds. It would be amazing if you could add all this because I love this game sooooooooooooooo much.Version: 3.2

Very well executed however....Ok first off the game is already really good. Runs smooth, original sounds, looks and characters. Really glad they didn’t lose sight of the older Animal Crossing games. However there are a few things that should be improved and added. First thing I noticed after the first few minutes of gameplay is the progression. It’s quite slow and I started to lose interest quite quickly. A second thing I noticed quite quickly was how useful the premium currency (leaf tickets) is. As another review stated it is a bit pricey for what it is worth and to many items use this currency. Now for somethings that I hope will be added. Tents should be able to be used like house in the old games where you can put your personal stuff and set up a seperate, personal, campsite for your own needs. Also it’d be great if you could bring back the feature that allowed you to display fish and insects in their own little enclosures like you were able to in the older games. Third and final thing that should be added is larger spaces to free roam. Currently there are only small bits of land dotted throughout the larger map. I’d be cool if a larger town or forest could be added into the game just so it could give you that bit I extra freedom. I do understand that this is an early version of the game and there are still lots of things to be added but I feel like theses should be added as soon as possible and would improve the overall experience of the game..Version: 0.9.0

Nice and nostalgic. This game is really good, and preserves a lot of nice traits from other games in this franchise. The charm of the characters (both campers and vendors) and the aesthetics that keep true to previous games really provide a hit of nostalgia. However, there are some things that could do with improvement. While there is not that much reliance on the premium currency as in other games (which by the way is a refreshing change), it still could do to put a bit more value on the old fashioned bells. Secondly, there is not much variety with aesthetics for your camper and cabins’ walls. The wallpapers you do have access to are really bland, not to mention expensive. Apart from this, the game is great, and I would definitely recommend it to someone who has played other games in the Animal Crossing franchise..Version: 2.0.2

Almost perfectHonestly really great I’m so many ways but still a few things could be better! I’m a huge animal crossing fan, I still have my Nintendo DS and play wild worlds all the time and this game is good and has that same feel but there are definitely things that could be done better; More room to roam around! The space feels way too small, either adding more islands or locations etc or connecting them to walk from one to the other or just making each one double the size would be way better. Adding more insects, fish and fruit to collect, the DS and Wii version had so many fish and bugs you could find! Make it abit easier to earn up coins as it gets a little slow going backwards and forwards from different islands collecting things to give them to the different animals Ability to plant trees and flowers more freely not in the confined “garden” space. Bring back the museum. Less reliance on expensive leaf tickets!! I’d much rather actually pay to download the app as a one off than in app purchases Make the town centre bigger and better like the into the city game Ability to try on clothes before you buy Make the designing of the camper abit more free and interesting or able to opt for a tent instead Chat function to talk to friends properly. This is very early stages of the game and it’s great but I see most of these comments said multiple times and think these small changes would make a world of difference!.Version: 1.6.0

Great Game!Yes! Finally an animal crossing game for smartphones. As a long time fan, the game is a great start for beginners to the game and a great addition to the veterans looking for a new game. The campsites might be a little small, but the certain kind of charm you find from your animal friends keeps it all worth the while. Since the game is free to start, the leaf tickets may be a way to make the gameplay more convenient. But this game is far from pay-to-win as most of the items take under 6 hours to build. Plus there are very easy achievements that can have leaf tickets as rewards. This game has the aspects of a “real” animal crossing game, but some of the key points of the game are missing. I found the market place very disappointing as only a few stores sell a few items for sale. I also found that catching bugs and fish was not as fun in other games, only a few types were in the game! The game is a blast through the first weeks but can get a little old. Doing favours for the animal friends are really just fetching what they want and your campsite starts to run out of room! I know now I’m just nitpicking but the game still is very fun for me and is a very cute, relaxing game. Thank you Nintendo for making another mobile phenomenon and keep up the good work!.Version: 1.0.2

Fun game but with flawsAs many others have said, this is definitely a great game, but I feel like they're missing a big component that made all the past Animal Crossing games so much fun. That missing component is the randomization. In past games there was so much that would be random - the town layout, the characters that arrive, the fruits that are grown, etc. These randomizations were what made it so fun to interact with other players in their unique towns. Don't get me wrong, there are little randomizations here and there in Pocket Camp - like things they sell at the market and where characters are camping out - but for the most part my game is very similar to other players of the same level. Sometimes the order in which characters arrive are a little random, but they always unlock the same items and the character arrival randomizations isn't random enough to make the game feel variable. There's a tip that shows up on loading screens sometimes that says visiting other players' camps might give one inspiration for one's own camp. But I find that I don't care to go to other players' camps because we're all usually around the same level, meaning we've met roughly the same characters and we have roughly the same items at our camps. Like I said, it's still fun to play, but I really think more randomization in the game would've made Pocket Camp a game I could see myself playing for a long time rather than something I'd get tired of after a couple weeks..Version: 1.0.0

Annoying glitchThis game is great but there is a problem. I was playing for a few days when it told me to update, but when I went to the AppStore to update, there wasn’t‘ an update! And now I can’t play it! Please fix this.Version: 1.2.0

The magic of Animal Crossing Gone Mobile!Animal crossing is a great franchise, although I haven’t played much of it. I played New Leaf for a while and I liked it a lot. This new installment in the series is great too! This game offers many things we like about animal crossing, with a new twist: instead of living in a town and thriving there, you’re on vacation and building a campsite! There’s still variety to be found, but the game doesn’t involve much exploration nor does it get down to the nitty gritty with customization. This is both a good and bad thing, because I found myself craving more, although I was satisfied with what the game was packing. Just a little suggestion though: what if you added the ability to custom make your own clothes, like in animal crossing: new leaf? The whole “making friends” thing is a really fun way to progress through the game and unlock new things, but it felt KIND of gimmicky due to the only objectives being “find this!” and “get that!” Otherwise, this is a pretty great mobile iteration of the classic animal crossing games we all know and love, and my only complaint is that there needs to be more content. And no, not something silly like more items. NEW content, or new areas, something like that. Anyways, keep up the good work Nintendo, you’re doing great in the mobile and console market right now!!.Version: 1.0.1

A great game, but...First of all I want to say how happy I am with this game. It really is something that belongs on a mobile. However I would like to have some changes. 1. It would be nice if we could have more extra’s like digging up holes for fossils and shake tree’s for bells, picking weed, etc. 2. I really mis that you can collect bugs and fishes. This gave a great extra to the game and a goal. 3. I think it would be nice if you could try on the clothes before you buy them. 4. Maby a chat function so you can actually chat with your friends if you are on their camp. 5. More activitys because now it takes like 20 to 30 minutes to complete the goals from the animals and after that you need to wait about 2,5 hours for other goals. With that and the fact that there isn’t really much to do (like collecting bugs, fishes or fossils) you really have to wait long before you can play the game again and I can imagen that some people may lose interesst in the game after a few days. 6. I also hope that there will be more places to go because now you only really have 4 places + your own camp and they are so small that after playing now for 2 days I already think I have seen enough of them. I know these are many point of improvement but I really like how the game works and how it has the same music and characters from the original game. A very happy animal crossing player, Amber.Version: 0.9.0

Amazing Game!I’ve loved this game since it started on the Game Cube and gradually made it’s way to the Wii. This rendition is good as well but I do have some concerns. Pocket Camp simplifies the dynamic of this game a little too much. Even though I like the campsite concept, and helping the animals with what needs to be done. It feels almost on loop mode. I would like to see a change in weather, like rain or overcast (be able to carry umbrella’s again). It would also be nice to go into the animals tents, travel to other locations (rather than the same 4 or 5 places on the map), and lose the timed crafts. With the timed crafts and amenities it makes it difficult to enjoy the game or move forward because I have to wait a certain amount of time or hours to continue. Obtaining materials also for crafts has also became a little more difficult, cotton is the main component in almost all items and it’s the hardest to come by. Which holds up animals coming to the camp, building crafts, and moving forward with the game. The leaf tickets restrict players from reaching the campsites full potential as well. The original versions of the game never relied on exclusive money to obtain certain goods. These small changes would bring life back to the game, and make what used to be an enjoyable, free lancing game, a little less structured. Other than these issues, this game is still executed well..Version: 1.8.0

Cute game!!!!A really beautiful, cute game - I’ve never played the original Animal Crossing but I’ve seen it before and this is just as relaxing and adorable. The characters are all pretty cute - one thing I might suggest is for them to not share dialogue (it kind of ruins their individual personalities!) I’d also suggest for the market to rotate more often, or have more things - I’d love to get lots of clothes but I have to wait aaaages just for three options... There’s also stuff like not having a gender divide or the ‘visit his or her camp’. I haven’t tried yet but I expect that my male character won’t be able to wear skirts or the yellow bow/flower accessories my female friends have. I just want to customise them more. Also, the Quarry entry fee really bugs me ... 20 leaf tickets is a lot, and so is 5 friends. I’d like if it was decreased or otherwise made a bit easier. (Still, I can’t say much though; I’ve never been inside so maybe the fee is worth it.) Overall, it’s a very promising game though!!!.Version: 1.0.1

Getting BetterBeen playing this from the beginning currently level 57(don’t know if I did post a thing last or not but my last guesstimate of level was way off was probably level 43 around the time or something not 60+ xD;) and am liking the new characters coming out a good times with new furniture and amenities and the events are challenging to a point (you only need time on your hands xD;) love how they’re coming out with new features quickly touching up all on the key issues I was being nit picky about but still I wish they hadn’t glued the carpets to the floor in the campers(the car) xD; that’s abit challenging and annoying to decorate around, would’ve posted a picture but can’t but whenever you play long enough you’ll see how it auto centers Humm should also add that I still would like to see new locations and such maybe a different park forest area all together to find newer animal friends with maybe a little summer camp or something xD and buy rarity’s from them like we do at the market place (but is specifically unique to them -they do crafts too right xD; the idea isn’t that crazy) and maybe we could fix up their camp themes too (heck could even incorporate challenges on what it should look like for the day or collect things / do activities (play a guitar/ go fishing) and talk to the scout master for rewards xD idk Just a few ideas.Version: 1.1.2

FantasticThis game is really good however I wish for a few adjustments to make this game better. First off please make more places the character can go to, the first day I played this it got a bit boring as there wasn’t much to explore. So please keep in mind that to improve this game you’ll need to add more places to explore. Secondly leaf tickets. Can you please make multiple ways to earn leaf tickets because some people aren’t allowed in-game purchases and also in stretch goals/time goals there aren’t many achievements that reward you leaf tickets. Lastly, please make it that you don’t have to wait for the clothes in market place to rotate, because it takes hours and sometimes it’s not the clothes you want, so it would be better to add a catalogue with all the clothes in it and you could buy them with bells and special ones with leaf tickets. Overall, this game is wonderful, I understand this game has been released quite earlier but please read my review. Keep up the good work..Version: 0.9.0

The ultimate relaxation gameI downloaded it when it’s first released but didn’t get to play until recently, which was almost a year after it’s first initially out. It’s a very well made simulation game with wonderful graphics that doesn’t require much thinking. Anyone who likes the kind of games where you can collect items and decorate places will enjoy this! If you’re familiar with Animal Crossing series, you will notice a couple of notable differences from the console versions, but I don’t feel it’s degrade the game in anyway. Nice things: - in game currency is relatively easy to obtain. - unless you want the limited edition items or to speed up constructions, you barely need to spend any real money, in fact I haven’t need to use real money yet. - plenty of “seasonal” events with extra side quests and new items. Not so nice: - the tasks can be repetitive after some time, I understand this is the kind of game where you spend like 15 mins playing each day, but sometimes I have an hour to kill and it feels tedious. - online connectivity means I can’t play it during flights :( - it would be nice to have some features from the console versions incorporated into this one (such as museum) it will make collecting items more rewarding!.Version: 1.9.1

My favorite!!!I loveeee this game!! It’s so cute, there’s alway things to do, it’s very customizable, it’s just overall amazing!! It’s my favorite game ever! I love all the details in everything and how much personality there is with each character. There’s a couple things I would love to see in a future update that would make pocket camp even better in my opinion. First I really wish there was a way to change your nose and mouth on pocket camp. I know this is a feature on new horizons and I figured it’s simple enough it could maybe later be added on pocket camp. It would make my character even more cute/ customizable and I would love that!! Also I wish there was a way to design clothing on pocket camp. This also I know is a new horizons feature but I just cant afford a switch and animal crossing new horizons and I would love if I could design my own clothes on pocket camp. Even if you had to pay bells or even leaf tickets to unlock a create setting or something where your could design your own clothes. I have my own unique style that I would love the show off in the game by creating clothes for my character and my villagers. Lastly another simple request... I wish there was a way to put pictures or art in the walls at the cabin. If you see this I would love it if you would consider adding these few things to the pocket camp version of animal crossing!!.Version: 3.3.2

FIRST GAME REVIEW:5 STARS!!!!!🤗This is my first game review I’ve ever written before, and I have to say, I have played a lot of games that I love, but THIS game however is the one game I have had on my iPad for a few years, and I have to say, I’m SERIOUSLY IMPRESSED! I honestly have never deleted this game(except for when I just want to start over with the game) and I actually put the game in a “Do not delete” file to make EXTRA sure I didn’t delete the game for space or, for some reason, on accident. Even though I’m only 10, I’m not expecting you to lower prices on THIS and make a bunch of stuff free on THAT. I love Animal Crossing:Pocket Camp, and I not only WON’T delete this game, I’ll REFUSE to delete it. Also, as a side note, if you are the same company that makes animal crossing games for PlayStations like WiiU or something like that, I wish you could possibly make an Animal Crossing game for the Wii, because I went to Game Stop at the Mall sometimes to find games for the Wii that I have, but I haven’t found a single Animal Crossing for specifically the Wii. Again, THANK YOU for making this game. I know how clear it is that you put so much hard work in the events, the characters, and the game in general. I’m Glitter cupcake unikitty (fake name) and I wanted to thank you for making this AMAZING game!!🐶🐱🐹🐰🦊🐻🐼🐨🐯🐷🐵.Version: 2.5.2

Enjoyable time-waster for AC fansNow that I’ve clocked a few hours into the game I feel like I can give an informed review. Pocket Camp feels like a pared back Animal Crossing game (as it should, being on mobile) with all the usual charms you’d expect from a game in the series, including funny dialogue from the animals. The regular activities are nice and appropriate if a bit repetitive, but you can play the game at your own pace. The social aspect of the game is nice too, with players offering collectible materials at affordable prices (for Bells!) to ease your gameplay. The microtransactions aren’t heavy handed and I got to level 20+ by simply playing the game for a couple of hours every day. If you only play it 15 minutes a day, the free game will last you a long time. That said, the more you play, the more tickets you generate through gameplay and thus have less of a need for paid tickets. After several hours of gameplay, I finally bought some tickets because I was already having fun with the game, not because I felt like it was necessary to proceed. As far as mobile games go, I think that’s how it should be done. Eagerly waiting for Nintendo to announce Animal Crossing for Switch!.Version: 1.0.1

GoodThis is an amazing game. In it, you can customise your character as much as you like and help other animals with requests. You can decorate your campsite with an endless amount of items and invite guests to stay there. However, I do have some concerns about the game, regarding your character’s animal friends. Multiple times after completing a request, specific animals such as Static and Apollo would say to me things like, “I’ve never seen such skill since the young days of Static.” or when Apollo thanks my character for giving him a treat he might mention, “...yep, it never gets old. Unlike me. My back feels like it’s a 100!”. Sentences like these concern me. Are our character’s friends fifty years old or something? Or do they just have back problems? If they are supposed to make comments like that, inferring that they are old and frail, why not call the app ‘Animal Crossing: Retirement Camp’? As well as this, other animals such as Freya near lunch time say things like, “Hello. Have any lunch plans?” The sentence by itself is fine, completely normal but the action that the animal performs along side it disturbs me. Dark lines appear it’s head and it chuckles. Has it slipped something into my lunch in an attempt to poison me? Apart from these small issues that I have carefully observed from the animal’s behaviours, it is a great game and I love it. It’s a very neat idea and nice storyline. Thank-you..Version: 2.3.1

Love This Game!!!I saw Animal Crossing mentioned the other night on TMZ & decided to check it out. Was quickly addicted, lol. Love that it’s easy to play, not interrupted by annoying ads, & your progress isn’t dependent on a lot of ‘group’ &/or timed activities. The only thing I’ve seen so far you need help for is help from 5 friends to enter the quarry for free. Don’t have 5 friends? You can spend leaf tickets, which you earn in game by leveling up, completing some of the goals, etc. There are a couple levels of real $ subscriptions available that could help you w/different game goals, but they aren’t a requirement to any play, you can do everything if you’re patient. And of course there’s the usual real $ packages for leaf tickets, bells, & other game needs, but again, if you’re patient you can have plenty of fun/advance without spending real $$$. That being said, if you can afford it, a purchase now & again is a great way to show your support of the game :) The one thing I have an ‘issue’ with is clothing/accessories. At this time, I’m unable to ‘layer’ my avi’s mask, glasses, & earrings. The glasses disappear when I try to wear either the mask or the earrings. I would like to be able to wear multiple items. If a future update ‘fixes’ this, I’ll change my rating to 5 stars, until then, a solid 4..Version: 3.3.1

Great game!! ❤️❤️This is a really cute, relaxing and fun game! me and my friends all play it together and it’s kind of become a competition of who can get the best camp. I really like the fact that you can add friends and i also love how there’s no need to spend real-life money to enjoy the game, also there’s no ads! The one thing i will say is that i wish the market rotated more often, maybe every 10 hours or something would be nicer? and the game can get a bit repetitive after a while. But aside from those points its a really nice game and I would recommend it! Hope that was helpful! 💕💖.Version: 3.1.2

Great, but not without its drawbacks.I’ve been a fan of the animal crossing games for years, but when I heard there was going to be a mobile version I was skeptical. How could nintendo satisfy me when you can already do so much with New Leaf? Well, in some ways they exceeded my expectations, but in others they didn’t quite meet the mark. I absolutely love the fact that you can now have a free animal crossing game at your fingertips and it’s a great way to introduce people to the brand and the animal crossing story. However, I am disappointed that you could never reach the amount of gameplay options available with games such as New Leaf or, even, City Folk and Wild World. Ninteno has done their best to improve and increase gameplay with every new animal crossing game, but I really think Pocket Camp has missed an opportunity to truly be a great animal crossing variation. What I truly wish to see is an option to play with friends in real time like in New Leaf. I’d even pay for an app update that would allow it, just because I think it would be a great thing to add on. To clarify, I know that Pocket Camp is free and is for your mobile device. I also know that it is asking a lot of nintendo to put the same features you can get on your DS on your phone. However, I think it’d be a great addition to Pocket Camp to be able to play with friends in real time..Version: 1.0.1

Love itGreat game, makes me reminisce my childhood playing animal crossing on the Nintendo DS. I keep getting communication errors which stop the game until it works again, which is a bit frustrating.Version: 1.0.0

Animal Crossing is a perfect addictive game 100%!So I was texting my friend and she told I should play Animal Crossing. I’ve watched a few YouTubers like ItsFunneh, Laurenzside, Pewdiepie and others. When I first played the game (it was like Monday or Tuesday) I was attracted to the furniture and clothing they had a variety of styles that I LOVED ALL OF THEM!!! I enjoyed fishing, catching bugs, getting fruits and doing any animals quests. I loved having lots of Bells and Leaf tickets to craft any of my favourite things. I truely think if you love games like this then this game is for you! If you’re reading this go ahead and play this app! I also think there should be future updates added to make the game even better like pets, making food (like pizza, cake etc.) and more things to do at camp like more supplies for fishing and make it more like your in the game doing it in real life. This game deserves more players and how the can have a chat to talk to them like ROBLOX or Minecraft. If you could put any of these it would be a lovely and wonderful for the game I don’t care if it has too much, TOO MUCH IS ENOUGH! From the player: Gaming_For Level 14.Version: 3.2

Love it! Can't wait for new stuff & new campers! So far the game is pretty fun and the developers have been listening well to fans complaints and requests! I really have enjoyed the recent updates! I would love to be able to expand my campground in the future, like maybe an additional 6x7 space for like 10,000 bells or if you get to a high level? And then you can add a spot to have one extra amenity, which you get by paying more bells or just leveling up for that. I have lots of furniture with the events I want to show it all off but I feel like the space is a little limited. Also I can't wait for my favorite villagers to be added, Kiki and Katt, I have a soft spot for them <3.Version: 1.2.0

From a long time playerI’ve been playing Pocket Camp since the early NZ/AUS launch, it’s a lovely game with a lot of charm and personality. The game has improved so much over time and I have really enjoyed my years playing. My favourite thing to do is dress my villager up in cute dresses and send gifts to my friends..Version: 4.2.1

AwesomeEverything I wanted and more. Yes there have been some slight issues today with the launch, but it's bound to be expected. I've been waiting months to play on this game. I'm usually on my Nintendo 3DS playing animal crossing. It's so refreshing to see this game on iPhone/iPad. The graphics are beautiful, everything is colourful and bright. Very fast to do things. There are cool down times on fruit trees but it's quite short compared to other games. I love how the campsite characters are always moving around, every 3 hours there's 4 more new characters to play with. This is brilliant, as I initially thought they be there all day. The gameplay is similar yet different to the Nintendo versions. Very easy to pick up and play, very additive, I've played for around 8 hours so far today with a few hours break in between and I've accomplished a lot already. I hope they keep developing the game and add more to it in future updates. I also hope they do community competitions for extra rewards to help those who don't want to purchase the in-app add ons. I love the fact I can link my Nintendo ID to it for extra security, and extra rewards! They really have done an amazing job with this, and I can't wait to see where they go from here. Big thumbs up from me!.Version: 1.0.0

Wonderful Game! This game is really adorable! I love everything about this game but, I don’t like how sometimes it needs a data update. Sometimes I can’t play because it takes too much Data. Otherwise I have NEVER deleted the app or really though about deleting the game. Keep up the amazing work Animal Crossings: Pocket Camp Team! 💖.Version: 3.3.1

Fresh remake of a classic gameThis game has retained the original Animal Crossing vibe whilst simultaneously updating the format to accommodate for the ever-growing mobile gaming scene. The setting is unique, with the ‘camping’ theme ever present and providing an in game reason for the mobile format - Kudos to the Nintendo for this bit of creativity. The game has waiting times for certain items and one can purchase credit to speed up this process. Usually I dislike pay to play games, but the waiting times are short and there are no adverts and seeing as the game is free the company must make their money somehow. If I had to come up with a drawback it would be the lack of ability to craft clothing, leaving us only with whatever is available on the marketplace. However, I am aware the devs are introducing clothing crafting in the near future. As of yet I have had no issues with performance. All in all, a pleasant and entertaining Experience. Well done Nintendo! Patrick Wyatt.Version: 1.0.0

Best game ever! 🤟🏿I had the animal crossing new horizons on tv i wanted one on iPad when i saw this.... it blew my mind away! It’s so cute!!! Eeeee it’s so cute! One thing i would change is... i want it like when you play Roblox but still pretty fun! I just started like 20 minutes ago but it’s really fun i really wanted an iPad animal crossing game so far so good! If the peep that made this game.... pls make the screen any other way that would make us happy also i would add a clothes store so when i want any other clothes i could just buy them other then that, good app! 🙈🙈 also i wish they had made it so it’s like the real one but on iPAD if it’s not too much trouble uwu it would make a-lot of peeps days go good bc i can’t always play on my Nintendo games bc i have a family you know! Also i don’t want cherry clothes in game i almost made my name cherry!! But i do like the animals in the game also i would add walls to the house XD bc it looks weird i know i know I’m not that much in the game but i wish they, made it so you can change you mouth and nose 😓 😜 and i wish that everyone would like the game if you don’t that’s fine i like how everyone has good reviews about the game! I like all good reviews on game even know i do some rude ones my self also if your a black peep... black lives matter we are kind and all cute in are own ways🤟🏿✊🏿👊🏿✊🏿🤟🏿 bye! I hope you enjoyed this!.Version: 3.3

Get this game if you love AC!I do not write reviews but for this game I made an exception. It is simply so much fun. A basic breakdown would be that you run a campsite that you can decorate and host other animals at, you collect stuff and give them to the animals in exchange for other things that help you craft furniture and you have your own camper to design too. If you’ve ever played AC before then you’d know that you had to wait for upgrades to be complete and fruit to grow and this game is no exception so it doesn’t feel all that different. Money is easy to obtain and they aren’t pressuring you to make in app purchases which is great, but with the amount of stuff you can do and have access to, you wouldn’t need to unless you were truly devoted and felt like it. Overall, this is AC but a free version and it’s a great game. Completely taken over my day 🤣 and I’m a grown adult!!! Definitely worth installing :).Version: 3.0.1

Redownloading this game!So I decided to redownload the game, and I still love it, truly! Although, there are things I’d like to talk about. For leaf tickets, I find it absurd that fortune cookies cost 50 when if you get a bit of luck they’ll appear in the super market for 5000 bells. I’d recommend lowering the cost to at least 20 or 15 leaf tickets. Another thing is, it gets awfully boring after you complete everyone’s tasks and there’s not much to really do except explore areas and make imaginary scenarios in your head seeing as theres really nothing else to do - I’d like for you to fix that as well because then more people will stop playing this game due to lack of activities after completing everyone’s tasks and talking to them. I also wish when you download it again it’d say if you’re a new user or not cause if you’re not this game should allow you to create yur own account and not just a nintendo one or smth so yu can log in faster. I also wish for you to add minigames/activities you can do with people at your camp and theres times you could have a special guest and if you play well (example: hide and seek) as they’re watching, they’ll consider wanting to be your friend and you won’t need to talk to them for the first time to level up your friendship with that animal. This way, people will have things to do when they’re bored and have no more tasks to fulfil. I really hope you read this <3.Version: 5.1.1

The literal best game I’ve ever playedI love this game and so glad it came out I’m completely addicted to it and play it everyday if you are getting pocket camp and want to know what it’s like well you can do a campsite and invite animals and level them up craft things sometimes you are gonna need leaf tickets in your life because you can buy certain fortune cookies and speed up what your crafting like say you wanted a jumper you would get it with bells and it would take so long to make it but leaf tickets speed it up so you can get it straight away and you can do a garden and decorate your campsite it will give you things to start off with and I picked cool and cool gives you like blue and white striped items and you can get cute where you can get pink items and you can do requests for animals and pick there outfits do treasure maps and all sorts thank you so much for this game Nintendo I’m so grateful and thank you for reading have a great time on pocket camp 😊😊.Version: 2.6.1

Just like Animal CrossingIt’s just like the games but you can just pick it up and play for 2 minutes and then put it down. And it’s not as simplified as some other mobile games can be. This is a great game..Version: 1.0.2

AMAZINGI do reviews on a bunch of apps but so far this is my favorite one I want to review because all I have to say is WOW!!! This game is amazing! This is one of my favorite games don’t listen to those mean one star reviews, it must be their internet not your game! But there’s so much animals! I was leveling up extremely quickly so I thought I would finish the game until I found out you can level up to fifty probably even more! But I love how you don’t make us pay a hundred dollars for the subscription I feel like it’s just the right pricing! And I love how when you get the happy camp caretaker pack (don’t know if that’s exactly how it’s called I forgot lol sorry) how it shows different ways to decorate your campsite and cabin so many ways and how there are almost kind of collections such as aquarium, and even Mario XD. So I feel like this game is a great fun, informative, cute game! Bye! I’m back and I have one idea, can you make it where were able to gift our friends? Like bells, leaf tickets, and items (fish, bugs, fruit) Since a lot of my friends don’t have anything in their shop but I really want to give them stuff but I can’t. But anyways that’s it bye again :D OMG I just noticed your the creators of Mario wow your Nintendo Co anyways now bye XD.Version: 3.3.1

Brilliant, Fun and RelaxingNintendo really hit the mark with this game. They managed to compact the essence of Animal crossing into a mobile app. It’s a extremely pretty game with simple but fun game play. Unlike in other animal crossing spin offs, in this game a player can fish, hunt for bugs, grow flowers and decorate just like in the main stream games. There are a few things I’d like to see updated though. The main thing being the menu where you can see all the animals you’ve met in the game, their current level and other useful info. The animals can be sorted depending on their type; ie cats, deer, pigs etc. But I would really love to be able to sort the animals depending on their personality type instead; ie cute, sporty, natural. I feel this would come on really handy especially if you’re some like me who’s going for just one theme in my camp site. It’d make things a lot easier just clicking a tab and being able to see all the potential villagers I could use, rather than having to click on them individually to find out their personality type..Version: 1.1.1

Stick at itI downloaded this game when it was first released. My initial impression was one of disappointment, as like so many others I’d been waiting in excitement for the release only to find that the game was slightly repetitive. I found that the in app purchases were too costly and not worth the hassle. BUT! I have now downloaded the App again and I persevered with re repetitiveness - turns out it’s actually great! They have now added monthly plans for leaf tickets and cookies which are reasonably priced. They have also added events like fishing tourneys, flower based events and so much more! It’s really just like the original games on the DS and 3DS you just have to have patience and appreciate that this is an app so it’s not going to have the freedom of the other games. I’m really enjoying it, it just takes some time to get into..Version: 3.1.1

Relaxing, fun, and (best of all) NOT PAY TO WIN!I’ve seen a lot of reviews saying this game isn’t as good as the console Animal Crossing games, but of course it isn’t! AC:PC is just a little time waster, and it does exactly what it attempts to. As someone with anxiety, I find this game to be a HUGE stress reliever, and it has saved my from breaking down time and time again. Spending time with your villagers (although I think they’re more like campers in this case...) is just fun overall, and searching for items to get them never feels like a chore. There’s always stuff to do, and when there isn’t, you’ve probably been playing too long. There’s no incentive to help one another, but for some reason it just feels right to answer someone when they need help getting into the mine because, well, it’s the friendly thing to do! I haven’t played a full animal crossing game myself (I do know that they are very different from ACPC with much more content), but this game definitely keeps up the “friendly neighborhood ‘mayor’” theme. And might I add that you get enough leaf tickets by just playing that you don’t need to spend money unless you want to? I think that’s one of my favorite things about the game. Definite worth downloading, and a very fun escape for when you need it!.Version: 1.1.0

Great game ., nintendo know how to make f2pAll in all it's great , its animal crossing as for paying actual money to get stuff done without the wait in no way hinders the experience. Anyone who played previous games knows patience is part of the game and that time was used doing fishing bugs other minor tasks. I would like one addition. Apple Watch compatible for telling you how projects are progressing and other pop up notifications, just be a nice touch is all far from required. How mobile apps should be made. Nintendo standard is second to none Edit ; people complaining that it's s cut back dumbed down version aren't completely wrong, but with that said this is what it was meant to be , it's a app to welcome newcomers and to have short blasts, I know I've go no interest in sinking over 500hrs into a mobile app like I did new leaf , it's a different market , nintendo won't release actual games on mobile platforms because that's why the console is there, mobile is its own thing and they are making fun apps to reel in new fans and still make a decent game out of their popular ip's , original content. And compared with most free to play games it's not long until you can't proceed and constant 3rd party adverts, so far nintendo hasn't forced either.Version: 1.0.0

Made me miss my Nintendo!I love this game, it’s fun and new, and although it makes you crave the older console games, it works perfectly for what it is: a pocket edition. My main problems is the lack of extension, the game stunts your progress and playing. An example of this is the fishing tourney, why make a competition where you can only catch a handful of fish in 2.5 hours? Why not make it continuous and actually allow the players to compete? It effectively stops you from playing for too long! The same thing happens with catching bugs and fish - there’s just not enough to keep you playing for too long! My other plead is to bring back the fossils and museum type element, it was my favourite thing to do and I miss displaying my catches and finds!.Version: 1.6.0

ErrorIt's cool and cute but the same thing happens again when i am super close to finish the begining it says Storage full and I was so looking foward to playing but whats the point if you can't finish it 😥.Version: 4.2.2

I LOVE THIS GAME!!Since I got it a few weeks ago, I have been playing it NONSTOP. The character design is gorgeous and unique. I love how you can go back into the game without it loading for an hour. And also, each of the characters have a different personalities, like with Tia the Teapot Elephant, she calls you ‘teacup’. But you should pay more attention to what they say. Just adding a different catchphrase isn’t enough to express their personality. You should also add more reactions. They are what make the game interesting and enjoyable. My last complaint is HOW FREAKING LONG crafting takes. I’m sorry, but I cannot wait two days for my amenity to be finished. I cannot wait 8 hours for a CHAIR to be finished. Please speed it up. Other than that, this game is my favorite game in the WORLD! Please reply back!.Version: 3.3.1

Wow 🤩Brilliant time waster. In a good way. There is so much to do! They are some really good and well thought of competitions and themes. And there are actually no ads aswell so it is great. Also the animals and all the stuff is so cute, and they are fun to talk to. I thought that it would be a bit babyish when I downloaded it but I am now 13 and still play it sometimes (although I would probably recommend it to maybe 6-11 year olds-or just someone who want a break from everything-me-)Tip to anyone who is new to the game. Don’t spend all your leaf tickets at the start of the game where it is easy to get them. You will find that later in the game it becomes much harder to get them. There is some really cool stuff that you can use them for eg. Terrain parts. Hope you found this review helpful :).Version: 5.5.0

A great game but…I’ve been playing since around the time the game released, I’m around level 150 at the time of posting this review and I’ve gotta say, this game is really fun, a good way to spend some time! This is one of my favourite mobile games! One of my only problems is that the game is becoming more centered around Pocket Camp Club (the paid subscription service) I feel kinda annoyed about this, as a F2P person, things are becoming more locked behind PCC, such as the special Kudos you give out to other players pictures and step count stickers. I know that some months ago, the storage has become free for all and I’m pretty thankful for that. Another thing I find annoying is that quite a lot of things can only be bought/crafted via Leaf Tickets and LT are quite hard to obtain if you’re a F2P person. The social section is pretty good, but I find constantly getting friend requests from people I’ve never met quite annoying. After a while, events are quite repetitive and yet again, stuff is locked behind PCC. This game is pretty casual though! I like decorating my camp every season to match the vibe of the said season. And also, BRING BACK THE EEVEE EVENT! I took a break around the time the event started and when I came back, I found out that I had missed out on it. Ever since, I’ve been saving up Leaf Tickets and Reissue Materials in case the event comes back. I recommend this game to all ages and animal lovers!.Version: 5.3.1

1stLove me animal crossing.Version: 1.0.0

A great relaxing game for everyone!I have just been getting into the whole Animal Crossing series starting off with New Horizons. And so far it has been a great experience but Pocket Camp is one that can be just as enjoyable. Don’t get me wrong ACNH was fun and still is, but there’s not much to do once you get your island up to 5 starts, pay off your house, etc. But Pocket Camp has a whole lot more for you to do and even if you think your done with the game there’s still plenty of stuff to do. With new content being added here and there you will be playing this game for a while until they decide to end their service with the game which is not coming anytime soon. However aside from it being good there are a few set backs...I feel like they kind want you to pay which I get it it’s not free entirely but when you want to get stuff like cookies to get new items you either have to get leaf tickets which you can either buy or do certain tasks to get them which take a while. Or level up your friendship meter which again takes a long time to do. But aside from the whole “pay to get cool stuff” thing the game is really enjoyable even with them trying to get you to buy something..Version: 4.2.2

Charming, with only minor drawbacksLet me start by saying this game is beautifully designed, relaxing, and keeps me entertained enough to look forward to my MANY logins each day. I almost gave it 4 stars because of the few drawbacks which I'll mention in my review, but the overall charm of the Animal Crossing series and the additional content in the game (like the new holiday themed goals and furniture) helped push this to a 5 for me. The clothing and furniture to collect as well as the short and long term goals give me plenty of things to accomplish, and make the game a continually rewarding experience. There are the drawbacks that any Animal Crossing fan is used to such as the slow pace, which in this game is set by timers, as well as repetitive dialog and interactions with the campers. The steep increase in crafting time on newly unlocked items is also a con. I wouldn't necessarily take these things out of the game, and I'm not surprised or disappointed at the micro transactions either. But for some people I can see how these things could be frustrating. If you play at a slower pace the way traditional Animal Crossing is designed for then it likely won't be much of an issue, but the impatient folks like myself may be tempted into buying more leaf tickets to speed things up. That being said, the game can still be thoroughly enjoyed without spending a penny. It's without a doubt the best mobile game I've ever played, and one of the only mobile games worth your time..Version: 1.0.3

People with sound aversions beware. It can be repetitive and tiresome at some points, much unlike the original games on DS which seemed to always be fun no matter how long you played. The cost of in-game currency is a little steep, though I suppose it’s balanced with how much is given for free from quests and leveling up. One issue I do have with the game is just the sound effects from the animals, specifically within the players camp. An option to turn off/lower the volume on the idle noises (like the gulping, ‘snoring’) would be wonderful for people who have specific sound aversions and find them irritating and/or triggering. The forced snow-theme is a little annoying too, especially when you live in the Southern Hemisphere, but that’s nothing new....Version: 1.1.3

Almost perfect! To start off, this game is awesome. A lot of the original aspects were kept the same and it definitely has that nostalgia aesthetic. I’ve found myself constantly coming back to the game and I don’t find myself playing for hours(which is a good thing in my book)! There are a few things that I would like to see as this game evolves. I would like to see the cost of the camper upgrades within the game before the upgrade is starts. The loan aspect is a wonderful touch, however knowing how much of a loan I’m taking out would be nice. I would also like to be able to customize the tents. They take up a huge part of the game so I feel like they deserve a little more attention. I would also like to see more open areas rather than a few locations with little area to explore. I recognize that this is probably a premature judgement as the game is still in it early stages, but I’m eager to see wider ranges. This game was not a disappointment and I’m excited to see how it evolves and upgrades over time! ~ps. Thank you for ditching the bees!!! (As far as I’ve seen)~.Version: 1.0.0

Too many messagesThis game the a really cute game but there r just a little bit too many messages I know u can turn them off but I need it to know when my furniture is done or there is a new events. But there’s a lot of them that just says things that just say the same things over and over again. Also it sends them in the middle of the night (12:00 to 3:00) and it sends like 20 in a row which (nearly) wakes me up every time. Other than that it is like the cutest and best game ever. (I would definitely recommend this game (if they turn off notifications) ).Version: 4.4.2

Decent addition to the Animal Crossing family, but does need improvements. So I want to start off by saying that gameplay and tone is very much your typical Animal Crossing experience and is fully enjoyable. They’ve added a few new things like mass catching of fish and bugs through honey and nets, and have a level up system that works great. Also, attaining leaf dollars is fairly attainable to you don’t feel pressured to spend your own money constantly, but instead are less guilty when you want to treat yourself to an in-app purchase. The concern I have though is that this suffers the same fate as Pokémon Go. They need to roll out the updates, and fast. Though it’s a lovely game, I’m finding myself getting bored as I’m catching the same four salt water fish, the same fresh water fish, the same four insects, etc. There’s a system where you can buy items from other players, but what’s the point? Everyone is selling everything that you can easily find and get so there’s no reason. I’m hoping that they can sustain the large premier fan base but they need to really kick it in gear. I miss some of our old favorites and do feel sad that it essentially requires an in app purchase to have them in game ( this right now is for KK slider and Tom Nook). Things that are also missing; Diving for Creatures, the cafe or museum, planting, zoids, writing letters, and quite a bit more. Overall a super enjoyable game, but currently the longevity is questionable..Version: 1.0.2

ProblemThe game is quite addicting except I have one problem. Whenever I get more leaf tickets it still says I have 0 so I don’t get to spend any. Please fix this bug!.Version: 2.1.0

This is a POCKET game!First off, this game is amazing! It runs smooth, and it’s enjoyable and makes you want to play more. I’ve been playing this game for about 3 months now, and today I decided to check how it’s doing on the App Store. I’ve been seeing a few comments about how it’s not like the other console games, and yes that is very true! But I just want to say that this is a POCKET game, and some popular games that are on consoles, or PC have a mobile/pocket version of the game, that is usually free (unlike the console/pc games). The pocket games, first off are free because it’s not supposed to have everything that the actual game itself has, it’s kind of like a free trial if you’d like to think that, and kind of like a ‘fan art’ of the main thing. Take the Sims4 for example, their mobile game is SOOO different to the actual game, more extreme then this, the only thing that would be similar is that you get to dress your character and control it, which is also done in a very different way. What I’m trying to say is that pocket/mobile game are going to have a difference to he console/pc games. Thanks for reading!.Version: 3.2

Froggy chairI love this game!!! but i wish i could craft froggy chair :(.Version: 3.1

Great game! But a few suggestions…I love this game. And the entire animal crossing franchise. And I was amazed to see you managed to make a game like animal crossing into a mobile game. I love how there are some different features to the game like, lots of events and all the fortune cookies. But there is something I want to suggest as a player of such an amazing game. With the planner/journal, it’s a new idea which I love and it also is a slight problem. The part where you have to buy the plan to unlock the shop, which allows you to purchase stickers and covers for your planners, and earning stickers from walking/running is a downside. As it is the only way you can earn stickers in the game, without having to rip out ones from previous dates. This reason is because some players might want to know when they started and be able to see when they started. Overall, what I’m trying to suggest is that there should be a way to earn stickers without the plan. Some of the ways you could do this is by adding stickers to fortune cookies or making a part of the shop where you don’t need the plan to access so we can still customise our planners/journals. Then players who may have left the game for reasons like this can return, gaining you more players and making the ones who are already here happier. Thank you for reading (Even though you may never see this) and hope the suggestions help..Version: 5.0.2

Awesome mobile game & AC mixI am a huge Animal Crossing fan! I still (proudly) own the one for the GameCube I’ve had for years and years now. I’ve owned all the ones for the hand helds too, and none of disappointed me! When I did hear it was coming to mobile, I was, of course, cautious. Would they mess it up, would it be broken, would new animals come in? The questions went on, but when the time for release came I was ecstatic. I get to have old animals in, cute customizing areas, and of course the fruit, fishing, and bug catching. Of course it’s going to be limited because it’s a mobile game! I understand that completely. I wouldn’t want it a full blown game like on the DS’s because than it would be broken! A lot of phones wouldn’t be able to handle it either, but I’m happy my iPhone 5 can and I’ve had no problems so far! If there is, the team fixes it as soon as possible without breaking a whole bunch of other things! So I’m giving this a solid 5/5, it definitely deserves it for not being a broken money grubbing game (even the options to buy aren’t shoved down our throats! It just takes a little more time). So thank you team who made this, I hope it lives a long time and we can do greater things in the future!.Version: 1.0.2

Love it, but my devices aren’t compatible :(Absolutely adore this game, I even made a Nintendo account to save my data! Only problem is that while I have iOS 12.6.3 (or something like that, definitely not 13 because I have an iPhone 6) I can’t play the game past the tutorial. The app crashes constantly. So I tried doing it on my chrome book and it worked! Then it stopped and I haven’t been able to play since. I don’t know what changed for my laptop :/ I have enough storage space and I’ve tried everything. Otherwise, I have only good things to say. :).Version: 5.3.0

Its amazing!!!!I love animal crossing especially this one it’s so good and cute, some reasons I like the game is because the neighbors and getting to decorate you’re own campsite and do you’re own style I don’t think it’s possible for me to ever delete this gam it’s just way to good and cute!!! 🐯🦊.Version: 3.2

My fave franchise on iOS!Okay, lemme say this one thing. I LOVE Animal Crossing! When I was six(?) my dad bought me a Nintendo 3DS. He gave me one game. Animal Crossing: New Leaf. After we finished opening the Christmas presents, I turned on my new gaming platform and put in the cartridge. I played for an hour until my 3DS was at low charge. I saved and plugged it in. A while later, it was fully charged and I brought it to brunch. I loved the game. Later, on Christmas in 2018, I had Pokémon games and animal crossing. The only thing missing was a Kirby game and Zelda game. On Christmas morning, I woke up to find Legend of Zelda: A link between worlds, Kirby: Battle Royale, and...... Animal Crossing: Wild World! I fell in love with the franchise and before then, in the summer of 2018, I found this game! I played every day until my campsite was perfect! But then, it was all gone when my iPad broke at a friends house. It was a cold January day, and i was heartbroken. I lost everything on there. Then, I got a new iPad and started from scratch. Then on April 1st, one day after the release of ACNH, my dad brought me to Target. He didn’t tell me why, he just said it was important. I went and he bought me..... a Switch! My heart stopped, and then i jumped around the room. He also got me ACNH and Pokémon sword. Now I love animal crossing even more..Version: 3.4

Fabulous game! Few requests. The game is fab, but people who don't want to pay do get bored as it's just quite hard to play especially in the events and getting leaf tickets is very hard. Most people that don't pay are unable to get cookies or craft special furniture because they cannot save up enough leaf tickets within the time limits. Also, it's hard to finish event goals when the time spans are quite short, and like leaf tickets, most of us can't get enough gyrodite to craft the full sets. I request that the time limits are slightly prolonged for around a day or so and that leaf tickets become a little easier to earn. Lastly, there is the planner. With the planner, we cannot do much as we are given very few stickers and must have the merry memories plan to get them and decorate the planner. Therefore, the planner is quite boring for non-purchasers and is hardly used except to see when events and things happen that month. The game is really good and nice, but the upgrades mentioned would make it much better. Thank you for creating the game, though! It's so fun!.Version: 5.0.1

Amazing and really funI swear you made this game addictive for me, I have to get on every three hours without stop. I really love how everything changes every month and I may have forced my friends to download as well. I just am really sad that I can’t get k.k slider as he was never and option when I logged in for the 45 day and still can’t craft him. I don't know if I can get him now that I have been playing for about two months but if I can it would make me happier. Apart from that I literally can’t stop playing this game thank you!.Version: 3.2.1

Cute, fun and relaxingI love this game so much. It’s so fun and it’s really relaxing. It’s awesome for people who don’t have access to the other versions of animal crossing so they can play the phone version instead. I love that you can meet new animals, also every animal is SUPER CUTE!! I love this game so much it’s just perfect!.Version: 4.4

Best app to kill timeI've played this game every single day for the past 4 years! So addicted to this game and it's absolutely freeee.Version: 5.5.1

Great game but glitch needs to be fixedFirst of all, it is a great game and I would highly recommend it to anyone that’s considering getting it. You can get through the game without paying (unlike some other games which cut off if you don’t pay) but there are some good options for paying people too. The only fault with this game is that there is once in a while a glitch where you can’t press the x in the pop up which shows you what’s new when you log in, after the daily reward. However this is infrequent and I’ve found if you have an Nintendo account you can delete the app and redownload your progress and it’ll be fine. This is relatively time consuming however and would really appreciate if it could be fixed. But other than that no faults, and still worth it. Just get an Nintendo account as a backup. 👍🏼👍🏼.Version: 4.2.1

Awesome!!!🤩This game is so fun you could build your own campsite those of you with your animal friends and post them on social tab and people give you some cool emoji and if you’re in the Pocket Camp club member then you get so much access to stuff you get to pick up some cookies each month so much fun things open cookies wonder what’s inside themAnd when you find out your easel glad or amazed or disappointed you get to know how great you object is inside the cookie just by looking at the stars if it gets five stars you got the best of them all for instants sing musical cookie when I got it I got the five star item the Japanese house thing they will get you lots of fun emoji’s when you post them on social and you can get these little cookie packs you send them to a friend and when they open them it shows a cookie and they can open it but these are special packs if you get a lime green one that would just have random items same with the red if it has a design on it would you recognize for me cookie is there anyone have a special item inside the cookie which comes in the present lots of cool stuff to do and you can watch The animals memories like the sheep’s memory they were doing a fashion show and you get to watch them make the clothes!!! Anyways this game is the best if you get it you will not regret it🌺.Version: 5.1.1

Amazing game as usual, but…I’m a die hard fan of animal crossing, I played on many devices and this game is as perfect as the other ones, given the fact that it’s free and on a mobile device. I know that to keep it going and make it better the developers need money, but it’s a bit sad for me that most of the nice things in the game (furniture, clothes and scenery) have to be bought with leaf tickets. I know they can be gathered just by reaching goals and stuff but it’s just a small amount, and the monthly subscription is a bit too high for me. I would also like to have weather conditions in the game but I guess it would be too much to ask, it’s still a free game after all. But having said this, I still think it’s a wonderful game and I will keep playing. 💕.Version: 5.5.0

It's okay so farIt takes me a total of 20 minutes to finish all the requests with animals etc. yet 2-3 hours to refresh the animals? Such a slow wait time. Not much else to do in the mean time either so I'm losing interest. The cost of leaf tickets is unbelievable. Most games have a lot of tickets for $3 whereas you get nothing for that price within this game. Not worth the money at all. Make it so you can at least earn a couple by other means. Need to be able to try clothes on or have more stores. Make so you can buy from market box without visiting there camp. Boring just ordering furniture to get animals but the animals don't really do much once you have them. This game is in the early stages I know but hopefully you improve it otherwise it's being deleted..Version: 0.9.0

AMAZING at what it doesBring Animal Crossing to a mobile device is a big deal. The special in-game currency, Leaf Tickets, aren’t too hard to obtain and I don’t think that they’re too necessary for the best available gameplay. Bells are fairly easy to get, but, why a 4-star review? Well, here’s my explanation. Dialogue starts to get repetitive after a while, which I am a little upset about. I prefer variety when it comes to in-game dialogue. Though I don’t find it the biggest flaw. In fact, I don’t think there is a huge flaw. While leveling up does take a while later in the game, (I’m currently 47), it doesn’t feel like it’s completely game-changing. You only get animals which are added to your contacts, potentially clothing options, and furniture. After 2 months of playing, I find gathering resources can be a bit of a task, especially when you really need them, though I understand that’s how the game functions. If the developers could add something to the game, I would suggest online-play with friends, (I don’t mean visiting them like it currently is right now), but rather being able to interact with them while playing together. Reactions would also be a lovely addition. Would I recommend Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp to a friend? Absolutely! If you haven’t already, you should give it a shot and join the Animal Crossing community! Thanks for reading my review..Version: 3.2.1

Cute game, wish it had gifting featureThis is a very cute and fun game! I definitely recommend it even if you haven’t played Animal Crossing before. The only complaint I have is that I wish we could gift furniture and clothing to our friends to help them out. It’d be an awesome feature! 💗.Version: 3.1.1

Selling furniture and clothing? The app is AMAZINGLY fun and I really enjoy spending my time on the app during quarantine but I can’t seem to figure out how to sell clothing and furniture or if there even is that feature. Could someone help me if there is that feature.Version: 3.3.1

Don’t buy premium currency and you’ll have a good timeThe premium currency (leaf) is grotesquely overpriced, particularly considering the equally overpriced items you can buy with it and especially considering that most premium items can’t even be bought directly at all but gained only through a gambling pachinko (lucky dip/loot box) system. If you can go into this game with the understanding and self control not to cut your wallet and bleed money for the chance of maybe getting the pretty sticker you want, this is a good time wasting sticker game. Significantly better than the version on Nintendo switch, when you consider the dearth of updates or content on the paid version. It is very clear which game is making them the money - it’s this freemium one. Do yourself a favour and save up all the scraps of premium currency the game gives out for free and wait until the zelda update and/or whatever other franchise tie-in that you like..Version: 4.2.1

Great, but still room for improvementI love Animal Crossing and have loved it since a child. When I grew up and ended up losing my Nintendo and the crushing reality of adulthood set in (ie ya girlz got billz now I can’t be buying Nintendo’s), to find out I could play again on my iPhone was a godsend. I agree with a lot of the common reviews - the level progression is SO slow. I hate how long the process is as well and that you can’t skip the process. I think you should get bigger prizes as you progress to higher levels instead of the same prize each time. What I would LOOOOVE to see added - literally my one and only wish for the game - is to have competitions/tournaments like in the Nintendo version. Fishing and bug catching tournaments where you could win trophies was the BEST! Please bring this back!.Version: 1.4.0

Just too good! All through the years I have played this game from IPad to phone! No matter what device I have it so yes I love this game but why? Well, I find it entertaining and it’s endless fun! Once u finished one thing there are many more so if your reading this I must say get this app! Other reasons? As I say it’s just too good and it’s a game that has everything a game needs, it’s just a dream come true! Even more? Well yes as all games it can improve and it’s updates are fabulous! But a few more things, the game obviously has animals in it but unfortunately only the players are humans so if u wanna be a animal I am sorry but u can’t! That is no reason to hate this game though, this is great for well anyone so get it and join the fun, if I can make a review this good the game has to be better so why miss out on endless fun! Oh and don’t forget it’s great to leave a review or a rating so the game know how to improve! 😎.Version: 2.6.1

Highly recommended.Very cute, beautiful game. So much content! Play and play forever. When in crafting, after completing an order or once a craft is completed, it would make things a lot easier if you were returned back to the spot you were viewing in crafting. Instead you have to tap, tap, scrolllllll all the way back to the items you were looking to craft. Very annoying. However, this is my only complaint. Other than this issue, the game is just wonderful. I look forward to playing after a long day and I could play all day..Version: 4.2.1

Very good but some balancing issuesThe game looks great, runs fairly smoothly and feels like a genuine animal crossing game as opposed to many other mobile versions of other ip's. Game has a few issues surrounding balancing of the items given vs. those required to progress, but nothing major or that makes the game feel like the true enjoyment or anything crucial is hidden behind a pay wall. This may have to do with the nature of the console versions of this series requiring you to wait in real time for certain events to occur, so having to wait for objects to be completed feels kind of natural in this case. The addition of the gardening feature really improves upon the "friend" element of the game, but more interaction between between players (trading, real time visits to one another's campgrounds etc.) would truly make adding other players worth it. One addition that the game would greatly Brigid from would be more player customisation, and a museum feature similar to previous games in the series. A Very fun little app and in my opinion one of the best mobile version of an existing game franchise out there. Not perfect, but very recommended..Version: 1.1.1

Relaxing until the errors start upThis is the first Animal Crossing game I’ve ever played more than an hour and I love it. Everything is easy and possible to obtain and the freemium stuff isn’t pushed on you or required unless you really want to speed up some 12 hour build time items. I’m level 16 and I have only encountered one favor that requires you to have caught a rare fish so the requests may ramp up in difficulty with your level but by then you’ll probably have fished/caught about 5 of them. It is nice that you can add friends you meet in the world, and it is really handy that you can buy extra items you might need from them if they have them for sale in their personal market boxes. One tip is that they don’t tell you how much camper upgrades are until they already do the work... the first extension is 10k and the second level add on is 30k. However you don’t have to pay right away, there is a loan system like the original games. My one issue with the game is how many connection and “unexpected” errors occur that can leave my game hanging in loading screens or kick me out of the game entirely when all I’m trying to do is receive rewards or talk to the animals. I don’t have bad WiFi so that isn’t the problem. It happens so often it really affects the gameplay and can be really frustrating. Obviously the game is a day old and isn’t ironed out yet so this might just be a problem until the first update fixes it or something..Version: 1.0.0

Cutest. game. EVER!!!Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is the game we have all been looking for! i’ve only been playing since earlier today, and i’m already in LOVE! the characters are adorable, the items and clothes are to die for, and there’s even a little mini game in the downloading data screen! it’s the most adorable thing and my favorite app on my phone by far. the only downside is that it’s really addictive! if you don’t know anything about Animal Crossing, you basically play as a character you design in a world with cute little animal people that give you tasks to do in exchange for in-game currency (bells), building materials, etc. you are given your own little campsite that you can design at the beginning of the game (i chose the “cute” style) and you can grow and expand your campsite and invite other people over to visit. there’s so much to do in such a small little world, and i recommend it to anyone who is looking for an adorable little game to bring them joy each and every time they open it. and since Animal Crossing Pocket Camp is always growing and updating, there’s always something new to explore! thank you Nintendo! i’ve been playing your amazing games and consoles my whole life, and this is no exception to your amazing work!.Version: 3.3

Great gameHad been very excited for this release, being a big fan of Animal Crossing. It is good to see continuing features from the previous games, though some have been toned down a bit. Understandably, the game has a different theme and it is also free, though it would be nice to be able to walk to more places and properly explore areas (each area is relatively small and journeys between are made by your camper van) -where also in previous games everything linked and there were daily changes which occurred e.g. being able to dig for fossils etc. Though there is an area for mining, you have to either use leaf tickets or ask for friends help (which doesn’t seem to be working for me). There is also currently no book documenting the types of bugs or fish that have been caught, though adding this would make it much more like previous and current other Animal Crossing games!.Version: 1.0.2

New Update Made The Game StressfulI’ve been playing this game since it first came out, and i love it. it’s peaceful and paced however you want to pace it, just how animal crossings is supposed to be. but the recent update has the game having all these BIG RED EXCLAMATION MARKS that shake at you, and it’s genuinely impacted my peaceful game play a lot sadly. it’s made the game feel stressful and like i have to complete everything it’s telling me to do, when it SHOULD be up to me, and always felt like it was till now. i’ve spoken to other people who play the game and i know a lot of people feel the same - some find the new update to be so stressful and a negative change to the game that it’s making them play less. i hope they hear from people & hopefully change it back..Version: 3.2

Amazing, people shouldn’t be so criticalThis game is amazing, I am completely blown away at how animal crossing has adapted to iOS! I do have 1 suggestion though, could you possibly make this multiplayer, as in, people can chat with other players? Of course, only if you have accepted their friend request, I think that would make the game a lot more fun. Please look into it. I remember when there was only Nintendo animal crossing, I was so shattered that I couldn’t get it since I never used to have a Nintendo. I understand that the game is not the same as Animal Crossing : New Horizons, but that is because, A. It’s free and B. It’s not on a console so there aren’t as many possible features. Still, this game is absolutely perfect for everyone all ages and I would recommend getting it..Version: 3.3

10/10 would camp againMy sister and I both really love this app! We would play animal crossing wild world all the time on our DSs when we were younger, and this game captures the original quite well. Although there’s not as much to do in this app as there is in the original games, it is an iPhone app so there are obviously going to be some limitations. It’s still a really fun app, and I don’t if it would work with phones like it does with DSs, but it its possible it would be fun to be able to not just visit others camps but walk and talk with them like when you connected to friends town in wild world. But like I said, limitations of a phone app, it might not work. Anyway, I’m actually writing this review because I have a problem that I couldn’t find any solutions to online, where when I pay off some of my loan for the camper van it goes through, but when I next log into the app the loan had reset to 8,000 bells again, although the bells I paid are still gone. Kinda need this fixed soon if I’m gonna be able to upgrade my camper again, because I can’t until I pay it off but it won’t let me. It’s a really fun app and I want to keep playing it but I need this fixed to progress in the game! Thanks in advance for any bug fixes or other solutions that fix this problem, and thanks for bringing back animal crossing and bombarding me with nostalgia!.Version: 0.9.0

ADORABLE!!!This game is so perfect and adorable, I've been binge playing it for ages, so much fun! The app was well worth the wait, Nintendo has done a good job! The only thing I found that I didn't like would be that you can't change the pants, I'm a tomboy so it annoys me how my character has to wear a skirt... And I'm sure there are other male clothing that my female character cannot wear and I'm sure there are males who would like to wear female clothing or wear the skirt..Version: 1.0.1

Love the EVERYTHING in this!Okay so the major thing that I wanted to point out in this as I haven't played this game before, I love! And I mean it when I say it LOVE how you can play the little game while downloading the data so you don't get bored cause it's really fun an keeps your interest in alot an helps you improve your things. Especially with the run through, which is really good for the people who haven't played Animal Crossing before, th run through is really good to make sure they know the right thing that they have to do so that they don't need to go through the stress criteria of not knowing what to fo or what different buttons meant, because otherwise I would have been completely lost and not knowing what to do or what to expect, so I'm glad that they acknowledge these thing and make sure we understand them so that we can have a smooth running experience! Overall Animal Crossing pocket world is a really nice app and I'd totally recommend it to anyone who wants a fun, quick and easy gameplay so they can relax and hav fun after school or, after work which can be really helpful to come back after a busy day at work or school and come back to a fun little gameplay campsite all putnin your phone to come back to whenever you want! So this app is definitely five star cause it is just really fun and easy to play and enjoy after coming home from something rather stressful or rather fun!.Version: 3.2.1

This events are not good, but the overall game isJanuary: This Rover event is very unfair, the first half was decent and I enjoyed but this second half is a joke! the spawn rates are abysmal, especially with this expectation to get them all within 5 days I haven’t even got 5! Not to mention I haven’t got all the red flower butterfly’s as well... Nintendo should of made this 20 days long, I’m feeling extremely rushed and feeling a need to play this mobile game longer which shouldn’t be the case with a mobile game. I only should have to spend 10 minutes at most each session but I find myself having to spend half an hour going around “sharing” butterflies and completing requests. It’s too much for a mobile game! I get that this is meant to make a profit but this “fear” of running out of time isn’t going to make me buy tickets, offering things in the vain of Tom nook and KK slider will. This is some avengers academy treatment... I hope future events have better RNG... or better yet, none. I like when these kinds of games challenge my ability to be punctual, not let “fate” decide my out comes... Edit from April: ultimately it’s been awhile science then and the creators have done a lot of improvements. Would recommend when it isn’t event after event....Version: 1.4.0

Needs some moreI love this game so much it’s cute, and addicting except I think you guys should add a bit more to the game. So everything is good but like all you do is get people to go to your campsite, cabin, collect money, and do quests. I think it would be really fun if we could adventure more like add new places, towns, city’s, and parks? Maybe even a mall or just any thing that comes to mind, also I think you guys should make it so we can design our clothes. And here’s a really big thing I hate when we buy stuff sometimes we have to wait like 3 hours 10 hours and it’s really long and annoying and I can’t buy anything after I would really appreciate it if you guys just make it either be 20 minutes 50 minutes or just a hour nothing higher maybe if it’s a really expensive item like 20,00 or something you can make it 3 hours if you would like but like don’t make everything 3 or 10 hours because it’s really annoying. And last of all I think it would be really fun if we could actually talk to the other players because when I friend someone we can’t talk they just stand their I would love if I could adventure with others and talk to instead of them seeming like a fake character I thought they where fake but they weren’t and that’s what bugs me I really think you should actually let us talk to other players it’s a online game yet we can’t talk to them? That’s all but if you fix all those I would love love LOVE this game bye ❤️.Version: 3.3

One of my FAVORITES!!!😀This game is amazing, I love everything thing about it!!! It’s fun, creative, and it’s not to hard ( for younger kids). You can customize you person and your camp site. Wile you help out your guests. You can can also participate in monthly, weekly, or daily events. In my opinion this game helps you be more kind and giving and more helpful even if help is not asked for. And I’ve had multiple people at my camp loose things with out me even knowing and I would help them no matter if they want a rare bug I only have one of I’ll give it to them. I think this game helps you learn new kinds of bugs fish and fruits! I’ve played this game for a wile now and It is definitely one of my favorites! It’s an amazing app and when I go fishing I reconditioned more kinds of fish and my grandpa told me what kid of bate they favor. I also help my little brother find these things too. He loves bugs and I can help him get to know what they are called. We know a lot more names of food, fish, and bugs now then we ever did!! The only thing I would change is to give a better description of what to do and how to do it. But overall this game is definitely gets a FIVE STAR review from me and I definitely suggest that you get this app!!!😁👍😃.Version: 3.4

Garden EventsI love this game a lot as someone whose played Animal Crossing on the DS. Most of the game mechanics I believe are fair, up until the Garden Events. Understandably it’s to promote garden use and friend generating/community building and profit. But the way it has been set out is terrible with a double layer of spawn and catch rates for butterflies - e.g for three hours of waiting with five flowers, you spawn four, but only catch two. It makes it difficult to get the achievements in time and disheartening to play. To be honest if even one of those mechanics (either spawn or catch) was removed, players might find it a bit more fair and enjoyable..Version: 1.1.3

Amazing game! 🌼✨There really isn’t much to say, but this is one of the best games you can get on mobile! It provides plenty of entertainment and there’s always something new to explore or do. 💛 Although, there are some things you could probably do to improve the game just a tad... One thing which probably disappoints many of the people playing this mobile game is that we cannot make our own custom designs to put on clothing, or on walls or floors! In my opinion, in New Horizons (which I would buy if I had the money...) this feature is one of the best things in the game. It’s a shame that people who do not have enough money to afford the game cannot do this. Another thing is the lack of haircuts you can equip whilst editing your character. There are only short haircuts - no long ones, whatsoever. The market stocks do not have as many things as the original games do. I would greatly appreciate if you could add these things into the game! Thank you. ☁️.Version: 3.2

Gods but a big issueI love this app! It is great and I usually spend a lot of time on it during the day. I find it very nice to just play when I’m waiting for things like my music lesson, because I can look up from it without something happening without me noticing like I would with other games. It is also good because I can just stop playing at basically any point. The only reason I haven’t given it five stars is because recently it has been doing this thing sometimes where the screen just blacks out and it takes me back to the Home Screen in my phone. It used to just do it occasionally but it got worse in the last week. And today whenever I clicked on the app it would load and then just crash as soon as it had finished loading. I haven’t been able to play at all today. I don’t think that this is a problem with my phone because it doesn’t happen with any of my other apps. Please fix this!!!.Version: 5.0.1

Awesome untilIt’s awesome but one day after updating it, I went in and it took forever to load and always failed. Please fix this bug.Version: 5.4.2

Can’t stop playing it!!I’m already on level 40 hahaha and I find this Animal Crossing pretty addictive! Overall I’m really happy but I would recommend the following: - There is a bug that causes the animals to stay still while talking to you (they don’t even change their faces), and when they give you a token they move like robots to one side instead of do the typical gesture when they give you something. - The campsite space is too small; it would be good to add a option in which you can expand the campsite space. - It’s pretty messy to look for something you want on your friends’ market box, because you need to go one-by-one (and every time you go back it leads you to the beginning of the list and sometimes you can’t see everything they are selling) . I suggest to add a search bar in which you can type what item you want and see which friend has it and then go to its campsite to buy it. - It would be cool to have a place on “catalog” (or in More) where you can see all the bugs and fishes you can catch (like on the other games). - It would be good to see when the market place stuff is going to be refreshed (like on Shovelstrike Quarry) bc sometimes it can be a waste of time going for looking if it has changed (maybe a notification could be cool, also for when something of building stuff has ended)..Version: 0.9.0

Some issues, but great overallI’d first like to mention that I don’t think it’s a slog. I’m level 25 and have only been playing for a few days and am still making good progress without buying tickets to get resources / speed up crafting. My main issue gameplay wise is how inconsistent crafting is. Sometimes big fancy looking items will cost next to nothing and be ready in minutes, but then random little wooden tables or things like this will cost an extortionate amount and take 11 hours. I understand that to get the newer animals added to your list they have to make furniture that takes longer, but they could have easily just made the bigger pieces take longer than the smaller ones. The recipes are a bit baffling as well but it has no real impact on the game outside of “realism” which is hardly relevant to Animal Crossing. I think the mine is a big missed opportunity, with it being so hard to get into and the reward is usually relatively small. The rewards you get from requests can be a bit tame also, often getting 1 or 2 of a material when a single piece of furniture can require (currently) up to 120 resources. Otherwise, it’s a lovely game and I’m excited to see what gets added in the future. I don’t mind waiting so long and don’t feel tempted to skip the wait as waiting / checking back is all part of Animal Crossing. None of the above issues have done much to sour my experience and I’ll be continuing to play for a good long while yet!.Version: 1.0.1

It makes up for new ideas but lacks oldThis game takes advantage in the form of updating events consistently giving every player a chance to earn furniture, fish, trophies and reward every player equally and that’s the best way of introducing new ideas in the form of what the users find appealing and how much time each person will put into earning all rewards and customising their slice of decorating heaven. As the new Nintendo Switch Animal Crossing game does creep closer, I hope for this app to have some kind of connection to the Switch and it lets you transfer your hard earned loot to the upcoming game. The only thing I would change is the lingo going on, it does get repetitive and it may give users the wrong idea on what’s to come in the future game, I highly recommend just customising as much as possible, and putting the game offline for a couple days and announce a transfer to be possible, I’m sure it’ll attract a lot of attention for the game and give you even more ideas. Either way! I may have rambled, GG!.Version: 2.2.0

Fantastic gem of a gameI’ve played Animal Crossing on my Ds and Wii a few years ago and I really liked the slow, relaxed pace of the games. I was really pleased when I saw it had been released in “pocket edition” but didn’t expect much. The graphics are lovely and colourful and there’s time to dip in and out of things. I especially like the outfits, the camp to decorate and the little animals you meet. I would say I would like to be able to plant flowers like you do in the previous games and be able to dig up valuables too. Overall for a free game, it’s really good fun. You don’t have to pay anything to enjoy the game, you do have to be patient when crafting things as they do take “real time” to make and if you’re out of leaf tickets it you have to wait it out. Overall well worth a play, I can safely say this is one game I won’t be deleting from my phone and one I would’ve happily paid for.👏🏻🙂.Version: 1.0.3

Hooked to itIf you wanna get this listen up. This is the best game you’re 100% Chance to be hooked. Now listen. Get this game now!.Version: 1.3.1

Vacation memory seasonal packI purchased a vacation memory seasonal pack so I could get some more seashell clusters because I am only two away from getting the yellow convertible but the fishing tourney event had ended. I got my 30 leaf tickets but did not get the seashell clusters, even though it says they are guaranteed, and at the time there were 23 hours left to purchase the vacation memory seasonal pack.Version: 2.5.2

Best game I’ve ever playedBut could you please make it so you can send gifts to your friends. And that we could get more free gifts like fortune cookies. But I highly recommend this game for all ages😀.Version: 3.2.1

I LOVE ITCos you get to do amazing things every day after the tatoreal you can do whatever you want it’s amazing after the first quest you get to visit lots of anamals islands eaves when you don,t pay for the thingy it’s still lots of fun for any age group you can trend racquet your friends and family then you can invite them to your island but don,t worry if your friends and family don’t have the aap then you can still invite other anamals to your island that you have unlocked there’s eaven more anamals to unlock after the first quest and each island anamal you go to is a new quest and finishing quest means rewards that can be calmed in the right hand top corner of your skreen and the rewards are like money AKA bells and leaf tockens for buying stuff like clothes itums things for your home and more! I’m the top left corner of your skreen there is a cam if you press it, it will show a cam tack a foto and Mack it fav then it’s your icon photo how you walk is you drag your finger on the skreen and your player will follow. That’s why I APSALOOTLY LOVE IT!.Version: 3.2.1

Cabin customizationGreat game! Cute friends, cute furnitures/clothes that can craft. Moreover, I love that they have many interesting events one after another. However, it would be great if players are able to expand the size of their cabin, just like they can with their camper. I’d love to host more animal friends in my cabin, and have more space to arrange more furnitures..Version: 3.2

Great Game , ALTHOUGHAnimal Crossing Pocket Camp is such a unique game , growing up I’ve always loved playing it on the DS ! And now I have it on my phone , I play this game everywhere I go , it fulfills my boredom , just aswell as fulfilling me with excitement! This game is a true to its words of FREE . Even though you can purchase in game purchases , A.C.P.C also gives you rewards in various of the items ! Such as the leaf cash , I would’ve expected to buy those , but instead I have plenty due to the game play , and I’m glad it is that way . This game has so much to it and it is ADORABLE ! The characters are the cutest and including that they each have their own personalities which gives you challenges to fulfill them ! Love it . Although there’s some things I would recommend which is to play small mini games with friends or actually get to talk to your friends ! Or run around the world with them in real time ! Even though the timing and process of some of the purchases are crazy , it gives you patience , but I’d rather prefer less time on certain things , such as tents not take 11hrs to build or some furniture to take 7 hrs to build aswell . This game brings a lot of fun and joy and even thought it has minor issues with it, it’s a GREAT GAME. And I recommend to download it ..Version: 1.0.2

Amazing so far but...Ok firstly the app is great. Nice and smooth graphics, wonderful music, etc. I'm actually obsessed its unhealthy, but, there are a few things that I would like to be added. I don't mind the leaf tickets seeing as thats literally the main way that you guys earn money so the leaf tickets isn't really a problem even if it's a little pricey. I'd like more islands to be added into game where we could do more stuff and interact a lot more. Maybe add a City or a Museum again, I miss Blathers. I'd also like to go diving in the water like in New Leaf and I don't know if you guys are already going to do it but I'd also like those little special event days with their special activities like a Halloween day where we can go trick or treating, or a Christmas day where we can go help Santa deliver presents. The major thing that I would like changed is the market place. I'd really like to expand each part so that there is more than just three items of furniture or clothes or shoes available. But other than that I really love the game and I hope you add things in to improve the game more :D.Version: 0.9.0

Please make this happenCan you pls make the the things to buy low price coz I really want to get the dear ears and if you love this game like me give it 5 stars.Version: 3.2.1

Love it but...I really love this game I always play it everyday and I just love it it’s the best now onto the thing I don’t like so you guys updated the game and when you go to build it changed and I didn’t really like that because I can’t put the items in the spot I want them to be and when I place a item away from another item it teleports to it and I don’t like that because I don’t want them near each other and I don’t really like that but then again I love this game the fishing is fun the dressing up is good and crafting Is fun but I have another complain (sorry if I’m complaining a lot) you know how like one of the animals when you invite them to your campsite they ask for a washing machine and you go to craft it and it takes 24 hours I don’t really like how it takes 24 hours yet I know you can pay leaf tickets but what if you don’t have enough ( oh btw I’m so sorry that this is so long) but ofc love this game so so much it makes be so happy when I’m sad or mad but that’s really all ( ik im saying I love this game a lot but it’s true) I hope the people who made this game sees this and fixes it I’m not forcing you to fix it but if you do thank you and if you don’t that’s alright.Version: 4.0

Pretty good...Okay. So this is a cute, uplifting app (and I know it won’t be as good as the console because it’s only pocket edition) but it CERTAINLY has its flaws. 1. Could have more areas. There are not many islands and not loads to do, but enough, maybe. I think a couple of new islands would be a great addition to the game, and seeing as they are always forcing you to do updates, you would have thought they’d put in something a bit more useful than... outfit savers! Well I guess it’s not that much of a complaint. 2. Ok motors Ok motors is a garage where you can change your camper but I wish they told you how much stuff is going to cost before you do it. So I’ll say: To make your camper bigger is 10,000 bells To get a second floor is 30,000 bells. It’s not a big deal but it is certainly irksome! Because I paid for a second floor, and then had a MASSIVE loan! 3. Ask Loid for help. Argh!!! It is so annoying! One time when I was taking part in an event, it literally forced me to pay 10 leaf tickets. I didn’t want to do this and I was saving up. So annoying! 4. Loading............. This is probably the worst bit. LOADING. It takes forever. Whenever you want to travel it loads for ages. And don’t get me started on when you turn it on... So yeah. If you can deal with that, it’s a cute, casual, happy and addictive game. It’s mostly good but those flaws are really annoying!.Version: 3.3

Problems for long time playersCan’t collect rewards because you have no room. Years of play and now the incentive to play has been removed. I’ve enjoyed the game. Gathered all the gyroids, plants etc and gathered the ‘furniture’ rewards. I’ve been paying for the little camp caretaker (a year or more) to support the game. But now it says I cannot collect my rewards as I cannot hold anymore items. There is an amount of fish/fruit etc that you are maxed in collecting... but maxed rewards? And no number is shown anywhere. What’s the point in playing anymore? To pay for the happy home designed pack thingy? Pay for something I don’t need (aka I don’t care about designing or wardrobe options), just to continue to play? I guess I won’t be able to continue playing and I’ll remove my monthly payment for the helper. No more money for you if you don’t fix this. Disappointing and rather silly on your part..Version: 4.4.1

I love itI seriously love it, other than it being addictive it is a really awesome game the other characters and you doing tasks it is really cool of how the characters are saying nice things after you do tasks 🙌🙌👌👌👍🤝 totally recommend playing this 😎😌.Version: 4.2.2

🌺hi guyz 🌺This game is great and all but... I wish there was a place in the levels that could make the avatar go to a different world like there was a suspicious portal that came into you campsite or your cabin and it pulls all of your friends( Goldie, Rosie, etc.) and you go to a hole( puns hehe) new world and there is like many other places to have different camps and you become like, I don’t know a person that can travel through portals or something??? I wish that you could take something from this paragraph and add it to the game( I realllllyyyy want the avatar to travel to a different place not just in the small place in a tiny world) thank you! :3 edit: so.. hi again!! i LOVE the game!!! but i wish that you can actually PLAY with ur friends! like u can go to their world 🌎 and u could see the real them (their character tho) and play with the avatar not just give kudos and buy stuff from them. another thing is THE MONEY (leaf dollars💵) i want them to give us more money they are literally just FORCING us to get the fashion plan. and it costs real life money...plus! i’m broke (don’t judge me) i want to get more leaf dollars like idk 20 or 30 a day. or maybe even 10! i need more money. my friends are almost already lvl 157 and i’m just sad ol’ 58 and u know why? CUZ I DONT HAVE THE FUTURE FASION PLAN. plz fix this i don’t wanna pay 15 dollars a month!! (might not be the actual amount but yea) thanks!!.Version: 3.4.2

Amazing game if you want to just spend bells.. butI love Pocket Camp; but I have to stop myself from playing it. I think what they have done with adding the cabin, now Pete and Blathers is amazing but it doesn’t out weigh the fact you have to spend your own hard earned money to get “exclusive” items from fortune cookies or crafting and then you may not even get them. I haven’t seen a single exclusive item in the crafting section that hasn’t needed bells. I have bells just piling up because I have nothing to spend them on. All of the camp custom backgrounds are bought with leaf tickets and that’s not even the main currency of the game. Just in December, I spent $100 on leaf tickets to get an exclusive item and never got it because of the “possibility” system. I felt completely ripped off because I can spend $100 on another game and actually get the item I want. The fortune cookie system needs work because it rips a lot of people off. I would even be okay with still spending Leaf Tickets if they gave more or had a better probability chance.. it’s borderline gambling. If you want to play this game for the stuff you can buy with bells; then you don’t have an issue but if you want anything else you’ll have to start forking out more money than a game you can play on your Xbox, PS4 or Switch..Version: 2.1.0

Another great Animal Crossing gameWhen I was about 11, my friend introduced me to Animal Crossing Wild World. I’ve been playing the Animal Crossing games ever since! Animal Crossing has been a massive help to me with my anxiety, playing it has always helped to calm me down when I needed it & I know it has positively effected others lives too in this regard. So naturally I was excited when Nintendo announced they were working on an phone app. I think it’s so great that Nintendo has made it free for all users. Whilst it does include some in app purchases, they definitely are not necessary to play the game & you can enjoy it perfectly well without buying the leaf tickets! Not only that, but Nintendo works so hard to keep the app regularly up to date & also filled with fun activities, such as fishing tourneys or growing flowers & catching bugs, that give great rewards - unique clothing, camp furniture, fortune cookies, daily log in rewards, & they even regularly reward free leaf tickets! They also seem to be constantly adding to the app too, updating it with new things to do, creating new events, adding new campers, new clothing, etc. which just makes it even more amazing for a free to play app in my opinion - it’s clear they work very hard. This really is such a great app & it’s given me way much more than I expected for a free to play game like this. I look forward to the future events & new campers! Thank you so much for creating such a fun app & all of your hard work..Version: 2.3.1

Great However...I Love the Game. It’s great. I really enjoy it. But some things bother me. Like the new game “New Horizons” I wish it had the feature to make your own clothing. As it gives you ideas and Inspiration and I struggle to find clothing that is buyable in a certain season. As so I want to buy an overals outfit but they aren’t sold on this specific season. 2nd I don’t really like how we don’t get to have the ability to amplify the world. Such as Pick up flowers. Chop down trees, More bugs to catch besides Beetles and Butterfly’s. I also hope you can add more larger things like randomly generated islands you can explore and those things in new horizons that help you get past rivers and to new land. That’d be really cool. And adding more room to the areas on the map make a big different to the game and it allows mobile users to see how new horizons is if they cannot afford a Nintendo switch (Obviously) as for my family can’t afford much right now and I’m really interested in new horizons and really want to play it. Also, Add Longer Hair styles :/ I don’t really like all the short hair styles even if i have short hair myself. I just think it’ll look better..Version: 3.1.2

Great game! This game is super nice, it brings various mobile game elements and combines them. This great seeing my favorite characters from when i was a little game playing animal crossing. There are little bugs and the game runs very smoothly. There is a minor complaint i have. Something that i kind of question is that when i have over 9 villagers capable of staying at my camp, the same nine stay in the camp and don’t leave. I think it would be nice if the villagers capable of staying at my camp stay and leave on rotations similar to how the villagers do from island to island. I think it would be nice if all the villagers came and went because i wouldn’t have to choose on what villager i like more lol!! Another complaint i have is the big imbalance of drops the villagers give you. There are soooo many villagers this will give you either wood or steel, and yeah those are good for crafting furniture but it’s annoying that there are such little villagers that give out cotton and preserves, especially since cotton is used for a lot of crafting. I never have enough to build what i need and it’s frustrating using up a bunch of request tickets on the same 4 villagers just so i can build one simple thing! I think newly added villagers should drop more of these uncommon materials!! I also wish that through the market box we can sell materials and furniture, i have a lot of unused furniture and it would be nice if i could get it to another villager!! Thanks!!!!.Version: 1.1.3

PLEASE ADDThis app is SO addictive I can’t stop playing, literally I always play on this it’s so well animated and cute! I really want you to add in “gift your friends” were u can gift ur friends for free like clothing items furniture.Version: 1.6.0

Awesome game!I love this game! It’s just unique to any other game on the App Store and being a long time AC fan myself this brings all my pleasure into my phone and I can play it in places which I couldn’t play a DS if I could rate this 4 and 3/4 stars I would because the problems I address are minor but... My first problem is that when going up and tapping on a character to talk you have a short loading screen instead of them just turning around and talking. I’d like it if it ran smoother and the NPCs simply got put their seat and started talking rather than a 1 second loading screen. Also one thing I don’t like is if you go to your friends camp site you can’t see them they just stand there still, and it would be cool if you could go round different areas like fishing areas with friends and help them complete requests but both get experience for it. But beside all them points it’s a great game with plenty to do but I hope my points get address and added. Thanks..Version: 1.0.0

First day of releaseAND I LOVE IT! GIVE ME MORE! It’s the first day of release and I need more, more content! I’ve been playing Animal Crossing since WW, buying every single AC game after WW, you can say I’m a cultist at this point. I’m absolutely hooked and I am so happy to play this new AC game which has so conveniently been released on mobile. THANK YOU NINTENDO! Would love to see some NPCs return such as the post pelicans, the guard dogs, the mayor, our boat/taxi driver, radish seller and more. My favourite NPCs are Timmy&Tommy, right next to Sable&Mable, I am so thankful you guys included these characters again for this game. Would also like to see some villagers such as Marina and Hamlet in the game again, not sure what the complete villager rotation is like but it seems limited so far..Version: 0.9.0

My All Time Favourite GameHappy 1 year anniversary! I got this game the day it was released and have played it every day since. I just wanted to say thank you for it. It was released a few months after I got diagnosed with a chronic illness and my life was turned upside-down. Some days I can’t even leave my bed. Some days I don’t want to. But this game is always there. It’s the purest, most calming game on earth. I used to have Wild World on DS, and then Let’s Go To The City on Wii. But this is my favourite. Because even at 3am when it feels like the world is ending my campers are awake and that most comforting soundtrack on earth is still playing. It’s the small things like this that get me through the day and I’m so grateful for it. I know this is pretty useless as a review. And I doubt anyone who actually made it will see it. But Animal Crossing was a massive part of my childhood and it means so much to me that I’m still finding comfort in it today. Thank you so much. Please never stop making things like this. The world is better for it..Version: 1.9.1

Brilliant addition to the animal crossing seriesFirst of all: i’m a HUGE fan of animal crossing. i still remember my preteen days playing wild world (major throwback) and i still have my 3ds with new leaf on it. when i saw this on the app store i immediately thought it was ‘too good to be true’. while the game does have some SLIGHT flaws (only if you’re being picky) it’s a solid 5 stars. the graphics are STUNNING. the sounds are quirky and fun like the previous ac games. the characters are iconic and super cute as well (ISABELLE!) and honestly the gameplay is pretty spectacular - you can play for a good hour or so before running out of things to do. if you’re new to animal crossing, this is a good app to get used to the basic gameplay. but if you’re like me, and have already played animal crossing, just a forewarning that this isn’t a full game. don’t be disappointed by some aspects of it not being like the actual thing. nintendo will save the full games for the consoles - which makes more sense, as this app is free (how else will they make profit?) overall i would definitely recommend this game - a fun instalment to the ac series and a great way to pass time. very very addictive too, and extremely similar to the previous games (the furniture sets (my personal faves are the sleek and kiddie sets) and the characters and items too) which i loved. 5/5.Version: 1.0.1

A bird person being pickyHi, I wanted to start off by saying I really, really, really love this game though I have some picky recommendations. Leaf tickets are very hard to obtain especially in the later game, and for that matter the products that you can spend leaf tickets on are quite overpriced. This is especially inputed due to the fact that a vast majority of the purchasable items cost leaf tickets and are again, overpriced for the difficulty to get leaf tickets. Another thing, and this is being really picky but I got a hate which is a bird that sits on your head and it is my pride and joy, but it made me pretty sad that I couldn’t wear it along with the hair I got (which was quite expensive in leaf tickets) in the traditional event can’t have that on top and it makes me quite confused why that hair counts as a hat and not hair, either way I would prefer a wider range of hairs. Thank you for your time ❤️.Version: 3.2

I love this game I just wanted to give ideasI’m not a game developer and I don’t want the mobile vs of acpc (animals crossing pocket camp) to be like the new game that just came out but I just wanted to give some ideas. I’m only level 35 so I don’t know if these things exist yet. Maybe we could have our own clothing like we can make our own designs like in the new game because I love the outfits that come out from the cookies but I just want to be able to make my own. Next thing is to able to give away items to our friends rather than selling them, because I have a bunch of duplicates of clothing and items that I don’t want but I can’t get rid of them and can only have a my villagers wear them I think being able to give them your friends only would be a great idea! And also more islands to explore and to expand our camp site because there’s a lot of talent people making great creations with the game but the limited space is kinda difficult to work with, like when we level up to certain level we can expand our campsite and add in more people. And more interactions with the people at our camp/cabin I like the idea of finding things for them I would be so happy if we could get more quests like that. Again I’m only level 35 so I don’t know if any of this exist or if you can even do it without it being so close to the new game (idk if that bad) I just wanted to share some thoughts love this game💕🥰.Version: 3.2.1

Great Game, Horrible methods of designThe game mechanics are great but they didn’t consider people who live in third world countries. Every time I try to do anything it sends me to the title screen and I never do anything. There was once a time where while it was sending me to the title screen it sent me to the title screen again. I updated the game when the update came out and instead of letting me into the game like it should have it just continued to tell me that I needed to update and I wasn’t able to get into the game no matter what I did. I waited for this game for a very long time after the Wii version I waited for a Wii U version that never came out instead they created a brand new device and forced you to buy games for it. Now that the game is out they decided to screw the people with awful internet and go ahead and make the game based solely on internet. I don’t mind the way the game mechanics are now but I preferred it when the game was an open world type of game I also preferred to join people’s worlds and have it where we could see each other and interact with each other like we used to. It would have been better if they had less internet based things but I’m sure they’re just going to ignore this and continue on with pure internet based games for the future..Version: 1.0.2

The Best Nintendo Game on the App Store!Honestly there is not one flaw I could find for this game, it is truly the most fun, amazing, beautiful game from Nintendo on mobile devices. I’ve been playing since the game launched, and haven’t stopped playing since. I love the fact that I can spend so much time in the game without not having anything to do in it. It’s definitely a game I think everyone should try. Now I do have a few suggestions, I do feel like there aren’t that many places to explore, and I feel like after a certain level you could maybe be able to craft a boat to travel to another world with new things to find and see. Obviously in future updates I’m sure they will add more animals, clothing, and craftable items. I think if you made a new world that we could travel to after crafting a boat, maybe that world could be more focused on basic Animal Crossing stuff, like a museum where you can view everything you have found in the game (fish, bugs, etc). But maybe we wouldn’t need a boat and there could be a area added so we could travel to a new campsite or like a national park where the museum could be. Those are just my ideas that I think could make the game even better, but I honestly love, love, LOVE this game, and I’m very happy that it’s out. ❤️.Version: 1.0.1

Love it, but I’ll admit it’s not perfectI got it the day it came out and am currently at level 26, so obviously I’m a pretty big fan. Obviously it’s not without its flaws, the biggest one being the connection issues, but I was kind of expecting that from a brand new game-Animal Crossing is already a well loved series, but bringing it to mobile puts it in the hands of a lot more people that weren’t previously fans of it, so it probably has been more popular than expected. Whatever, it’ll clear up eventually. There are two main things (involving the Market Boxes) that I would like to see changed: (1) as someone who now has 10 slots available, I would very much like to see more than 4 of my friend’s slots without having to go to their campsite and (2) I would honestly like to be able to buy the stuff my friends put up for sale without having to visit their campsite. The connection issues already make navigating the friends list and the visiting of campsites take too long, but having to go back and forth just to find out my friend isn’t selling what I’m looking for is time consuming and tedious. Other than that, I’d also kind of like to see a return of the emotions and letter writing from previous games, and maybe possibly even a multiplayer mode where you can visit your friends and hang out in real time. I also look forward to the addition of more villagers along the line!.Version: 1.0.0

Got my animal crossing fix!Still saving to get the Nintendo Switch but until then this is keeping me ticking. A few things…1) I’ve completed all the beginner’s stretch goals so it’d be great to have further goals from Isabelle or another character. Anything to earn extra leaf tickets….2) the marketplace isn’t all that exciting when the furniture on offer cycles through the same few pieces. I think I bought all on offer within a few days/weeks. The clothes have a bit more variety but again, the offerings are pretty stagnant…3) haven’t seen any new bugs/butterflies/insects in a while…4) Gulliver’s maps. It’d be great to have a list so we know how many we’ve completed (like the class list in Happy Homeroom. That thing is great!). Otherwise, never played a game for four months straight and counting. I’m enjoying it, thank you!.Version: 5.1

Good, but ...I love this game! It is so much fun to play. But I keep getting communication errors saying I'm not connected to the wifi but I am. Please fix this error as it is very annoying. Thank you!.Version: 1.0.0

I LOVE THIS GAME!!I have been playing this game for months now and that says a lot because there has never been a single game that’s held my attention longer than a few days. I have read other people’s reviews and although everyone is entitled to their own opinion I can’t understand any complaints- this game is fun and oh so darn cute !! I have been a long time fan of the animal crossing games since the very beginning and have played them all but this one is right up there with the best of them. I initially thought it was gonna be lame because there’s only a few different areas to roam and they’re quite small but I soon realized the charm of this game is in the events. Every few weeks they roll out special events where you can earn special items - clothing furnishings etc. The events are always new and different and they’re FUN!! Also they do regular updates adding fun features. The best part is this game is completely FREE!! While you can buy extra leaf tickets if you are too impatient to wait a day or two for certain items to be crafted, it’s not necessary and they give you so many ways to earn extra ones that you don’t really need to. All in all this is a very fun and charming game and I love it!! I would recommend this game to anyone of any age. 😍.Version: 1.3.0

ITS SO MUCH FUNI expect nothing less from the animal crossing franchise, but this is a wonderful smart phone edition. There’s a lot to do, its peaceful and enjoyable. I look forward to more things (hopefully) being added!.Version: 1.0.0

Mobile animal crossingI am so happy that they have a mobile animal crossing it might have some things which need a bit of work but still amazing.Version: 3.2

Love it!I love this game! It’s so fun and cute! There is so much do, add new addition to the camp, make friends, work on gardening, fishing and catching bugs, invite villagers to your campsite, customise outfits and caravans, craft awesome and unique furniture and clothing and so much more. The game is really cool, but I have just a one things to say to help improve the game. The amount of villagers at your campsite. For my campsite I’ve gone with the ‘cute’ theme and I like to keep it that way. The furniture, tents, outfits and the villagers. I recently made friends with bluebear and I wanted him/her (can’t tell the difference, really)to come to campsite. So I crafted everything needed for bluebear to come, I unfortunately had to use so Leaf tickets, and when he/she came it said ‘there is no room for bluebear’ which is really annoying. Possibly, could you make a limit of villagers at a camp higher then 9 (I think that’s the limit)? Or tell players when they start or log in into a new game and that 9 is the limit so it is remembered for them keeping track of the villagers in the campsite. Or make a way to other villagers to leave or at least depart the campsite. We can still be friends just not entering the campsite and if that’s not possible then villagers can swap out with each other. Thankyou and I hope this gets on board. 😘.Version: 1.2.2

The other reviewer is dumb this game is greatImagine getting that mad over a stool (which, something they didn’t mention, came with an exclusive character, so it absolutely wasn’t just the chair. also you can earn your way to that amount of leaf money, i got the tom nook chair in like 2 days.) i love the sound design SO MUCH, it has an amazing and calming atmosphere like its predecessor games. it obviously doesn’t have the FULL capacity of the original games but it does a nice job as a lite version. it does give you an option to pay in order to get things faster, but it gives you so much leeway every time you level up, which is very easy in itself, so actually buying anything isn’t really a necessity ? unless you want both a nice pattern on your van and tom nook then i guess you can pay $10 for that, but i personally wouldn’t. the entire point of animal crossing is being patient, so if you burn all the money leaves that they give you on fertiliser because the peaches aren’t growing fast enough, then you’re missing out on how to actually play it properly ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.Version: 0.9.0

Played for years!Over the years I’ve played SO many Animal Crossing titles and loved every one. The only problem I personally have with Pocket Camp is that fortune cookie collections are released so often that it makes it difficult to save leaf tickets to use for buying them. I know you can use real money to buy more leaf tickets but I can’t exactly afford that. I’ve always used Animal Crossing to temporarily escape my problems! Other then that I love it!.Version: 2.6.1

Great game! This mobile app really brings back memories from when I used to play on the wii. So addicting and fun to play!.Version: 3.2.1

PerfectThis is my life now.Version: 1.0.0

Fun for AC fans but improvements neededI was so excited for this game to come out, so far I’m really enjoying it. The wait times for crafting don’t matter too much as I can almost always find something to do in the game regardless. Now that I’m a higher level, with a lot more characters around to interact with, finishing requests up takes a good 20-30 minutes dependant on the items needed, and they move every 3 hours which I feel is an appropriate amount of time, as I find myself on the app almost all day anyway. Some resources are few and far between, but connecting my Nintendo account gives me the option to trade in points for resources which I’ve found very useful! The only downside for me is not a gameplay issue, rather a technical issue. Every time I open the app, it forces me into a data download which takes around 5 minutes before I can actually play. I could close it, and open it up a few minutes later again, only for it to ask me to download again. Hopefully this will be fixed. I’ve been off sick from work so Pocket Camp has kept me thoroughly entertained, I’ve been glued to my phone! Overall a fantastic app, I’m currently saving up to craft the chairs to get Tom Nook and K K Slider..Version: 1.0.2

Really good gameIt’s really fun. I would recommend it to anyone wants a fun game to play on the go and if you can’t afford the real thing, it a really good alternative..Version: 4.1

Lovely gameThis is a really good game and l think it is a good free version of the original game. The only thing I would like if all of the areas were together so then it feels less cramped. I do understand that it is a free version so it won’t be as flash but it still would be nice. Thank you..Version: 5.4.0

Awesome!! Honest feedbackI LOVE this game. It brings me back to the days of my childhood playing animal crossing on my gamecube. I think there are many aspects of the game that are excellent but I wanted to give my feedback because this is a game I want to continue to enjoy, rather than something I get sick of. First, I think the game needs to continue updating and expanding. I think more locations and the map overall should expand so there is more to do. The game sort of feels like a loop - the animals move, I do their requests, then I wait for them to move again. I think an expanded map would be a huge thing and would make the game much better. I also think there should be more challenges to complete - I am almost done with my stretch goals and would like more goals to focus on. And one more thing - I think we should be able to go inside of our tents and decorate them. We should have the amenities for the animals, but I literally never go inside my camper or even pay attention to it. If we could have a personal tent for our character that we could decorate, similar to designing your own house in the original game, I would seriously LOVE that. So overall, an expanded map with more locations and more to do (even if they are locations like shovel strike quarry where we don't meet animals but rather do other tasks), more challenging tasks (more of them more frequently), and a personal tent for us to design and decorate. Other than that, the game is great!!.Version: 1.1.3

I love this game.I always loved Animal Crossing and I was so satisfied when I started playing; save for the typical phone game waiting times, this game doesn't disappoint. There's an amazing amount of things you can do, and it gives off the perfect amount of Animal Crossing familiarity and interactiveness. There's a small bug with the character options that occurs quite rarely where the options for chatting and exiting have the same text, and at a point the sound for the game went out, but once I restarted it functioned regularly. I do have questions about if there are going to be a greater variety of fish/insects (though for now the rarity of certain species does make it feel incredibly good when I finally catch them :) ), and if we are going to be able to build more than two amenities. I also have a question about whether the effects of an amenity increasing the maximum relationship level with the villagers is kept even after building a new amenity to replace it? Overall, this is an amazing app with great functionality; I'm extremely grateful and impressed with its functions, considering that it is free, and I'm so happy it is being tested in Australia. :).Version: 0.9.0

Easy to get hooked on!I’ve been playing this a lot recently during quarantine and I’m really enjoying it! So far I’m on level 38 and still going as well as aiming to make myself a sakura themed resort out of my cabin. The game is very addictive and it’s a shame a lot of things require you to wait before you can do anything else as I’d like to be able to spend more time on it in one go! I’m very much enjoying all of the events currently going on and I’m looking forward to the one coming soon! One thing I would suggest to the creators is make it possible to enlarge the size of the map and inventory as you can with the crafting menu. Part of my screen is paralysed and I can no longer open fortune cookies or travel to Lost Lure Creek because of this. I feel like it would also make things a lot easier to find and travel to and could help just in case anyone happens to have the same problem as me. Overall good game that I’m really enjoying!.Version: 3.2

I love this game!I came from wild world on my DS, and I just felt I needed to congratulate the creators for not only keeping animal crossings, well, animal crossings, but by adding in more to do. Usually mobile games get worse compared to their console games, and I'm glad this one is the exception. So much nostalgia! Even in regards to leaf tickets (real world currency), I am always able to earn enough on my own for the things that I want without having to spend real money, which I appreciate. I don't know if that will stop once I achieve a certain level, but I'm level 63 currently and the events are always giving out leaf tickets and those events are one after another. My only complaint is that I wished we could pick what our special fruit is. Everyone was given either grape, lemon, or lychee, and I understand that it would be bad for the game economy if we just switched fruits all the time. But the fruits were assigned to us, and I would've loved to get lychee! Let us change it just once please! The assigned aspects of the original console games were the one thing I hated and the one thing I'm glad was taken out of the mobile game (you can actually change your appearance in this mobile version), so I feel doing this with the fruit was a step in the wrong direction..Version: 2.5.1

Cool game! This game is so cool! The only reason I got it was because I used to not have ACNH. I have it now but yeah. This game is so detailed! I love all the styles of campsites and characters to become friends with! Also the clothes are what blew my mind the most. THE CUTEST OUTFITS FOR ANY STYLE OF CLOTHING IS AMAZING AND SOOOOO CUTEEEE! ^^ Just one thing to ask, If your the creators of ACNH aswell, or know the creators, Can you please ask them/add Timmy in ACNH to offer you furniture to sell to you? I need certain furniture for my house but I can’t get it from nook shopping cause the furniture I want isn’t on the list, so if you could ask the creators to add it in/add it in to ACNH, I would love to see that! Thanks again, For a wonderful game!.Version: 5.1.1

Yass a good gameYes finally I have a game which is fun and doesn’t crash every time I go onto it 🦄. When I’m playing it I love to complete all the requests for the animals and then get my level up really fast. The animals have different characteristics which I think is great 👍, there are so many animals that you can invite to your campsite. For me there is only one small problem, when I’m levelling up fast I get so many new animals 🐶🐭. Then I find it hard to get them all to my camp site because I have sooo many xD. I love this game and all its features and updates ( especially how you can buy clothes from Cyrus :D ) my fave character has got to be Rosie she’s amazing 🤩. I love how you can Collect things and then give them to the animals 🍁. I hope this game has more updates in the future and keeps up the good work. -Anonymous Potato-.Version: 1.1.3

My FAVORITE gameI’ve never written a review before for any game but i figure my favorite app is the best place to start! i’ve been playing animal crossing for over a year now and let me say it is a pleasure to play this game! there’s daily rewards to keep you motivated to check in on your animal buddies, cute dialogue between characters, and engaging/new events that occur monthly (fishing tourneys are my favorite because of the weird collectible fish you can get). the music, aesthetics, and design are really pleasant and i’ve only had one glitch occur before in the whole time i’ve played it. the designers of this game keep up with what needs to be fixed and make sure that the game runs smoothly. i love being able to connect with other players without a chat room or anything like that because that can lead to harassment and just ugly stuff. my ONLY edits would be that i wish this app would lean into the “cute” aesthetic a bit more. recently they did a “rock and roll” theme event and it was so dark and didn’t fit my vision of animal crossing at all. i would love some more light, cute things that i can obtain! secondly, in the original animal crossing there’s a museum where you can keep rare animals you’ve collected. i think this would be a great idea so that way you don’t just look in your catalogue to see rare things you’ve caught. i want a place to keep them and put them on display so i can know my accomplishments! that’s all though i love this game keep up the amazing work!.Version: 2.5.0

Very cute gameSuper cute tho I just wish there were more clothing options in fortune cookies aside from dresses, I’d love for there to be themed suits, shirts, pants and more gender neutral clothing items in general.Version: 3.2

Childhood memories! So I LOVE this game, I found it on the App Store and immediately downloaded it. Now with that being said I expected the original version or something close to it. It is different however I appreciate the new scenery and characters. BUT. I miss the og animals like peanut and the actions from the first game. I’m leaving a review in hopes that some of the things I know and love might be incorporated in order to bring back some childhood nostalgia for everyone. I think sending mail/letters should be brought back, I used to love buying stationary and sending my sister and brother mail with gifts inside. I also miss being able to pay my bills with Polly. Oh and how can I forget furniture falling out of trees or the dump?! Haha of course all this cannot be in the new game but maybe just a few things. I miss actually walking to places instead of transitioning from screen to screen. I’ve read other reviews and I really like the idea of decorating the entire camp site I feel there is so much wasted space which could be filled with furniture and activities for the animals. Another idea I have is to bring small aspects of every version of animal crossings together here. For instance going swimming from the DS version as well as the Museum and fossils collections. I would also really like to see more in the town square such as the hair salon from the Wii version and the store fronts it had. Overall happy with the game but wanting more to keep busy..Version: 2.0.2

Nice gameIt’s a very good game - for mobile! Also it is good for people who don’t have a switch or anything. Only issues are that 1. It takes up about 1 GB on my iPad and I had to delete most apps to get it. 2. It gets boring and repetitive after a long time of playing, and 3. Make the villagers do more actions! Like new horizons and the other games, like make them walk around and have the “Let’s talk!” option instead of just making them sit there. And 4. You need to craft way too many things just for a single villager to move in. Like, waiting 7 hours for a pizza box? Bruh. That’s stupid. It doesn’t take 7 hours to make a pizza and put it in a box in real life. And make it like new horizons a bit so that you can go to islands and invite them with nmt. Sorry for the long review and thanks for reading! Apart from that it’s a good game. And also I’m not forcing you to but I kind of recommend buying a Nintendo Switch or Switch lite, 3DS, Wii, DS or GameCube for what game you want to get more fun out of it..Version: 4.2.2

Love this game, just these things…I love Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, but these things just do my head in… #1. Pocket Club Members To unlock basically the whole game, you can join the “pocket camp club” but it costs money! It’s not fair for those who can’t join, the members get to do EVERYTHING like using special stickers when reacting to their friends’ photos, they get to buy fortune cookies that have gone out of stock, they get the craft time shortened, ect. I reckon everyone should have the whole game, without having to pay real money just for the whole game. To me, it’s a stupid idea. #2. Crafting time Wen you want to craft something, it sometimes takes SO LONG! If you’re lucky, you only have to wait a bit, like one minute. It especially takes long with the amenities, taking a whole day or so! The pocket club members get their time shortened! It should be done INSTANTLY. When you get requests from an animal, they want specific items that can only be unlocked by crafting them. It takes TEN YEARS! So, like I said, items shouldn’t take so long to craft. Done in an instant. #3. Leaf tickets They can be used to buy special things, like fortune cookies, and more! But they are so hard to get. Maybe make them easier to get please? If all these things were fixed, I would love the game EVEN MORE! If these were all fixed, everyone would be happy! Thank you 😊.Version: 5.2

Amazing BUTSo this is an amazing game especially alternative to new leaf etc where you have to pay. i love everything like the special events and rewards but what ruins it is the merry memories plan and the constant pressure to spend real money on leaf tickets just so you can take part in special events. eg i wanted to decorate my planner and i saved my leaf tickets for it only to find out i couldn’t buy it because on top of leaf tickets i had to pay real money to join the “merry memories plan” to be able to buy ANYTHING for my planner!?! even if i can afford it i’m still not allowed stamps/ covers because i’m not paying a subscription? for me it just ruins the game, why have it for sale for leaf tickets if you have to pay anyway. just seems like you don’t really get any luxuries unless you’re on a subscription. as i’ve played the game more and more it seems you have to pay for more things as it updates. sad because i love the game..Version: 5.0.3

Great GameI love this game. The whole idea of catching all these fish and bugs and decorating your on camp, getting new friends, is just great. There’s a great deal of content, I haven’t finished it yet, and even if you got all the fish, bugs, animals, items, levels etc. there would still be stiff to do! For example, events! Events are held in this game and they can be a deal of fun! It might be to collect a certain length of fish, and the satisfactory of getting those prizes is great. At the moment, there’s a Super Mario Bros theme event where you can win yourself Super Mario Bros theme items! It is an in game purchases app, but I think the game is still fun even if you don’t spend money, I haven’t spent any money and I’m having a blast! You can get lots of leaf tickets to speed things up without paying! But, there’s one problem I have with the game, it crashes and kicks me out a lot. The game saves though, but it does getting a bit annoying having to go back in, and it’s a bit off-putting. Apart from that, great game! Well done Nintendo..Version: 2.2.0

Amazing game!I’ve never played Animal Crossing before but this game is very relaxing. I love the animals and I love how you can decorate the camp however you like, this definitely deserves a five star rating in my opinion!! 😀.Version: 1.0.1

One of the only mobile games possible to play without spending moneyPocket camp is so fun. While traditional Animal Crossing is more enjoyable when you look at the whole picture (and please please let's get an AC for the switch), Pocket Camp is a great mobile platform version of the game. I started playing at the beginning and was disappointed in the lack of features, leaving me bored and eventually burnt out. However, recently I started playing again and there are tons of new features! My favorite thing is the frequency of events - there's almost always an event going which gives all kinds of fun new goals and such to attain. The game has come so far since day 1 and I greatly look forward to experiencing the game as it continues to grow. Dialogue with campers is repetitive and we need more clothing and furniture, maybe some new locations and things to do but overall I cannot complain enough to drop the review to 4 stars. This is one of the only games in the app store that makes it more than possible to play and have a cool area that's possible to decorate without spending money. Leaf tickets are easy enough to attain that if you're patient you can acquire enough for the cooler campground terrain and the better fortune cookies without paying money, but they're also not SO easy to attain as to destroy any revenue that would keep the app in business. Overall it's a really great game..Version: 1.4.2

Cute game!I love it I play it everyday after school I’m on level 20 I really want it to be spring like change the grass to spring cuz we’re done with winter so can you please please change it to spring and you cloud add new tents like spring playground and other stuff.Version: 4.0.3

My favorite mobile gameI absolutely LOVE this game. I downloaded it because I was feeling nostalgic for the old days playing Animal Crossing on my gamecube as a kid and I definitely don’t regret it. It’s a lot different than the original Animal Crossing (I only ever played the original and Wild World so I don’t know how it compares to the others) but the differences are mostly positive. One of the things that frustrated me about the original game is that you had to play nearly every day, otherwise your town would be covered in weeds and your house would be full of cockroaches. That doesn’t happen in this game. You can stop playing for weeks and the only consequence is that you miss out on some of their limited-time events. I do miss the museum/fossils though, but I understand why it doesn’t make sense to have it at a camp. I really enjoy having so many places to decorate. You’ve got your campsite (which is very spacious), a cabin, and even a camper (which you can upgrade to 2 levels for even more decorating space). I also really enjoy being able to craft furniture/clothes instead of having to wait for them to show up in Tom Nook’s shop or at the dump. It makes collecting all the items in a set much easier. Overall really great game, now if Nintendo will just make a good mobile Pokemon game I’ll be happy lol.Version: 2.4.0

Excellent updateAlthough I kept it to myself, I didn’t like the big change to Gulliver’s Ship the last big update brought. It felt unbalanced and unfun. The new patch on the feature combines what was nice about the old version with the enhancement of the new, and I am so pleased that I had to come and say so publicly! The other updates including events related to the second anniversary have been balanced and fun. There are many premium components to this freemium game, I have happily played for months without needing to pay for extra. The flow of internally generated premium currency is generous and the options of what to spend it on are lovely without devaluing the rest of this charming game. If you want a minor sim with crafting and social elements, this is the game for you!.Version: 3.0

THIS IS GREAT! Just one thing...I think Pocket Camp is a great animal crossing game, especially for mobile devices! Everything looks fantastic as if the graphics were from console games and it’s really cute actually. There is a secondary more “rare” currency but it’s not like it’s IMPOSSIBLE to get, which is nice so that you don’t have to go poor just because you want to play this game. However I think the level up system could use some work. It’s a little bit...hard as in there’s only one way to gain XP which is my fulfilling animal requests. That can be done very quickly, though, so after you got your XP, that’s it. I think an XP map that you maybe get from Gulliver or the animals could be a nice way to gain XP. You would find these maps and then send Blathers to explore them for bells, potentially. I think this would be another nice way to gain XP without animal requests or request tickets..Version: 3.2

Great! 😎😎😎So it’s ok but most of the time tbh it’s boring and I do have some complaints. First of all WHY ARE LEAF TICKETS SO HARD TO EARN?! It’s very very hard to earn them while bells are soooo easy to earn I wish we could trade in bells for leaf tickets so please take it to consideration. Next is I have a Nintendo switch and the game asks you to link it to the game ( if you have it) but i tried and it’s pretty hard to do , but I would like to do it since they give a decent amount of leafs for it. And for one good thing a good thing about the game is the AR mode. That’s it :D. Ok edit this game is amazing! 👁👅👁 lol that’s kinda weird but ummm totally download it updates like everyday litterally! This is ( I’m not saying my name signing out btw the quality of this game is very good for me practically as good on the Nintendo switch I’m playing this on my iPhone XR so maybe it depends on the device? Well anyway this hmmm let’s give me a nickname such as panda lover because I love pandas and all bears such as my bear grizzly. Oops so of topic byeee now download this btw my bro got the iPad Air yesterday and downloaded it and he loves it anyway bye Edit: a few months ago I got the iPhone 12 it works even better!!!!!! Except.... on my phone it asks for a password when I want to update the app, this app doesn’t let me play if I don’t update it PLEASE FIX THIS.Version: 4.1

Love butOk. I absolutely love this game. Especially with my slight ADHD every level is like a new puzzle in my brain who’s means it never gets boring. I love the way you complete tasks and invite people to your camp and how you get to decorate. It tickles my mind in every good way possible. I love how it’s not easy but not hard. It’s slightly challenging so you actually have to focus on it. It is actually very educational. I’ve realised I’ve become more alert and better at solving problems. However, there are a few things that li feel the need to say. 1 I feel that the screen that comes up when you try to open something can sometimes be laggy and when you complete a goal why do the rewards go into your mailbox? Other than this this game is great and this is just my personal opinion. Thanks for reading xx..Version: 5.5.1

Great game when you’re feeling left out! It’s a great game if you don’t have a Nintendo and can’t get the new horizons game, but this is still just as cute!.Version: 3.1.2

Better Market Place items please!I love this game. I make sure to come back every rotation to see what’s new and I love participating in events, but sometimes the stuff in the market place are underwhelming and the same things over and over. I think it will be more encouraging to check back in the game (especially for long-term players) if the things they put up on sale are always a new set, not just recycling one thing from the day before and maybe a good chance to have high-rated and/or rare items. Better percentage of getting rare fortune cookies would be awesome as well!.Version: 3.2.1
