It’s laggy sometimes almost to the point where I have to restart the app. I only have one idea or suggestion for a next expansion in the iPad series. Total War: Warhammer. ✓ Great Port But One ProblemIt’s a great game and a great port. I was playing as the Saxons and won, but the victory screen had the text of the defeat screen. It still says victory at the top, but under it has the writing that it would give you if you lost the campaign. About the Roman Empire falling too. ✓ Entirely new game all togetherThe historical setting of the game makes it almost unrecognizable to the original Rome, its as if it is a whole new TW game and the campaigns are all amazing, but the game is also really hard if you choose to play as the romans, because Atilla's r*pe train doesn't stop for nobody, but still a really fun game, hoping for more..Version: 1.7.4
✓ By Far My Favorite GameI originally had a lag problem with the game, but it seemed to go away and now I can play the larger units with little to no lag. No sure what happened, and I'm glad it did, and now I play on the Grand Campaign also problem free. The only issue at the moment is that my tablet sometimes can't handle the awesomeness of 800 legionaries assaulting over a 1,000 sassind scum in a full blown siege, and I haven't learned my lesson to wait them out... There's just some things you can't skip, especially Total War (I'm not a sell out, yet).Version: 1.7.4

✓ AmazingReally great game honestly. This and Vanilla Rome Total War are good ports for mobile, yeah the controls and sometimes the interface can be finicky, but every game has their minor flaws. And to everyone confused about their units disappearing, did it ever occur that you could be playing as a horde faction? As a horde, you are meant to sack cities. When you settle with a horde army, that army disbands and joins the populace of that captured city. Its simple, really..Version: 1.12
✓ Great gameI played the original game called ROME: Total War and ROME: Total War – Alexander. ROME: Total War – Barbarian Invasion is way awesome like the original ROME: Total War. I believe the game sets when the Roman Empire disintegrates into two Roman empires, Western Roman Empire and Eastern Roman Empire. The Western Roman Empire will be inevitably defeated and dissolved by the Franks/Gauls and the kingdom of Francia and Eastern Roman Empire will go on until the Byzantine Empire in my theory..Version: 1.7.4
✓ Great gameExcellent job making the beloved PC game mobile. Like others have said, this is 99% what the PC version is. It does occasionally crash, but that’s kinda rare and only happens if my battery gets down to 10%. I have 2 questions. 1: could you possibly add the ability in the options to adjust the unit troop count if it wouldn’t make the game unstable or anything like that? 2: you did an awesome job with Rome total war and the expansions. ✓ Love it!I own several of the Total war games on PC. Never was able to get into the whole Champaign in the series but love custom battles. I got this pack so I could play while on the go or when I work overnights on call. The controls take a bit to get used to but it’s so much fun. Please make an empire version, that’s one of my favorite time periods..Version: 1.12

✓ Great game but could do with updateReally enjoying the game especially with all the unplayable factions as playable , I have realised though that the Celts haven’t got a colour on the map when the Lombardi for example do and were both unplayable factions, recently playing a Celt campaign I’ve had a few heroic victories (Darn Romano-British lol) but I haven’t had the famous battle site mark appear and assumed it was because they hadn’t been fully converted into a real faction, which is a shame because I do like leaving those marks across the map. It would be nice if they had different voice actors with different dialogue appropriate to the faction like in the base game , Celt general saying pull your bows when they don’t have bowmen for example( just want to add that Celts did have bowmen historically so giving them a complete update would be very nice ) , other than those tiny things this is a really great game and a great value , once you get the hang of the controls it’s really simple.Version: 1.12

✓ Honestly the best money I’ve spent in my lifeAll the total war games on iOS are great but this one is by far my favourite with the variety of factions and added mechanics like pagan and Christian religions mattering more. However, after playing a lot you can reach the limit of what you can do, and with so many total war games out there it would be nice if a few more were ported to iOS like Shogun or Empire, but other than that it’s a solid game. 5 stars..Version: 1.14.1

✓ Okay but still has bugs and...Could use a few improvements. No total war iPad game lets you consistently command troops in to straight formations. In many spots, the formations will not go into the formation you command it to do despite the green dots lining up right. In the vandal campaign, every time you accept a marriage to daughter, Ludwiga, after you sack then later occupy Rome, the game instantly crashes. Only the general’s unit ever acts like an actual military unit, every other one flees to easily. Even the hardcore Roman legions have been known to inexplicably flee after fighting one peasant unit. So improvements would be welcome and/or mod capability. Other times, ONE unit can obliterate an entire army 20 tines it’s size. It feels a wee bit unbalanced. Some bugs make me wonder how well it was tested first. Otherwise it works pretty well. It feels and runs a bit smoother than the original. The fact it works and was ported to mobile devices at all is also amazing..Version: 1.7.4
✓ Great but still buggyHey guys, great game great port, pretty much everything works fantastically but I have one bug to report and that is that the alemani armored archers render horribly on the iPad version (don’t know if this is a thing on the iPhone version), they come out missing textures and look distorted, I’ve uninstalled the game and reinstalled it and same thing happens, if you guys could patch that up at some point, it’s a minor issue but I believe it requires fixing at some point, thanks..Version: 1.11

✓ It’s great but some things just don’t make senseIt’s one of my favorite games and I spend way too much time on it. But I love playing as Rome, and the famous Roman infantry is so easily defeated by any barbarian heavy infantry. Even when experience levels are the same, the Roman comitatenses are easily destroyed by other groups of heavy infantry like the chosen axemen. And it doesn’t help that they are expensive. When you defeat a massive army in a stunning heroic victory, the enemy just presses an army multiplier and there’s another huge army coming at you again. I know there can’t be that much money to continually replace heavy troops, especially when I can barely retrain my troops that quickly. Also, when my generals have the ability to fight in the night, I never get the option to do so. Overall they’re just nitpicks and I do always choose the hardest difficulty for battles. Fantastic game and I recommend to pretty much everyone.Version: 1.7.4
✓ Better than RTWWhen I got this game I wasn't sure if it'd be any good, but love being one of the small barbarian factions, stealing settlements from the romans, or one of the Roman Empire's, struggling through wave after wave of barbarian war-seekers while dealing with rebels who are supported by some cities. Some people say it doesn't work on IPad Pro but it does. Overall I think this is a great game, worth way more than it costs. I would by it for $30. Developers don't get any ideas I like it cheap. Also can you continue to bring total wars to the iPad? Like Alexander, then M2TW, and the kingdoms addition, as they're all a similar set up to these..Version: 1.7.1

It’s historically accurate, fun, beautiful, realistic, and truly shows the scale of the Roman Empire and the enemies it faced. If you have a phone I highly recommend this game, 10 out of 10, along with the original Rome Total War, which leads up to the Roman Empire with the different families. There are dozens of new completely different units which are amazing. But on the downside there are no siege maps which is the only bad side of this addition to the total war mobile franchise. ✓ I wish I bought Alexander insteadAlthough I really enjoyed this game very much when I first purchased it. Back then I don’t have much problem like glitch from this game. But right now I’ve been seeing a lot of glitch which I never had back then such as troop especially cavalry get stuck in one place couldn’t able to move even though all the enemy troop been killed they just attack the air. Also a glitch where infantry can’t even get into their siege tower sometimes. I never had these problem before until now. I hope you fix some of these and this is a pretty nice game.Version: 1.7.4

Couple issues on iPad Pro 2, 12.9 on IOS 10 - With grouping units at times they do not respond to attacking command or they move in a random direction, but picked individually they respond. Maybe this was an original game coding bug, it can spoil a battle when it occurs at a crucial time. Also when scrolling the city info panel, it would be handy to also see the city position on the background map rather than it being obscured by the second right info panel. ✓ Just as Addictive on iPadI discovered Total War about the time TWBI came out and found myself as often as not playing until 3:00 AM without realizing how fast time had sped by. I was a bit skeptical about an iOS version, but now I can’t imagine playing any other way. In fact, I got the Mac version for my 27 “ inch iMac and I still prefer the portability of the iOS version. The gameplay is well adapted to the iPad; and frankly the the few annoyances I’ve encountered are barely worth mentioning. I’m playing on an iPad Pro 10.5, early 2019. ✓ Great game!!Great port to mobile! I think maybe it would be nice to see a multiplayer for the mobile version if that’s possible. An easier or faster way to change unit formations (the holding down two fingers and dragging takes a little bit too much time to me) maybe it can be a setting that’s changeable? The ability to make unit sizes to at least the equivalent to large on the PC versions for any device would be nice for older devices (so that would be 120 in like a peasant mob). Maybe just add a warning like “Using this setting may cause performance issues on older devices” or something of that nature. I still really like it though, it is a Total War game for mobile!.Version: 1.7.4

✓ Amazing game, amazing companyYou guys are the best mobile game company on the market. You guys always put lots of love and care into your games to make sure they work properly. And my favourite games from you are company of heroes I have all dlc as well, and Rome total war I also have all three out of the three I say Rome total war is the best barbarian invasion is second, Alexander is fun to play once or twice it’s not your fault though it was trash on pc as well it’s still good in terms of gameplay wise works perfect on mobile. I played tropico a little bit on a friends iPad never bought it on mine me personally I couldn’t get into it overall it was a very smooth running game even on a iPad 5th gen. Rome total war and company of heroes are prob your main attractors for me at least can’t get enough of them. And on top of that you guys were secretly working on medieval 2 you guys are just on top above the top and then some because you guys are just so dedicated to making a smooth enjoyable experience on mobile, and if I know you guys your probably going to release a stand alone game for the medieval 2 kingdoms dlc or release it In game for 7-14$ which is totally reasonable for the quality of these games either way I’m really happy rn just knowing medieval 2 is coming out. So keep up the good work and keep releasing awesome pc and console ports, your team is amazing all of them the whole company is amazing. And I would love to know what game your doing next even a hint to it would be cool, anyway keep working hard and Making masterpieces on mobile for us all to enjoy..Version: 1.12

✓ Great with some problemsThe one thing I REALLY don’t like in this expansion… when you defeat the last settlement a faction that can horde, they get a large army for every general they had in the settlement, no matter the size of the town or village they come from. That is kind of ridiculous on its face. Where do you recruit 5000 units when the main settlement of the region has only like 600 people. Makes no sense. Also, I tried playing as the Romano britons and yeah you don’t get the same units as they do when they spawn naturally when you do something like take over the UK with the Celts. Kinda frustrating. Otherwise, I love this game, and I like how they removed some of the absolutely broken mechanics like strong phalanxes where a few of them could easily wipe out armies if placed correctly..Version: 1.12

✓ Top classAbsolutely love these games, played them originally and couldn’t resist purchasing when I saw it on the App Store. Just finished my first campaign as the Sassanid empire, only 1 small gripe.... I completed all the requirements for success and got a victory message, however the text says I failed. Is there a cut off point to complete the campaign, as in must be completed by 400ad for example? I haven’t seen one anywhere, just a little frustrating to crush the east Roman Empire only to be told you failed 😂😂😂😂 Other than that absolutely fantastic game, and for the future can we make more factions playable?.Version: 1.7.4
✓ Very good gameThis game is far beyond anything mobile has ever seen before. The game itself is very good and DEFINITELY worth the money. My only problem is that the game recently has started to crash more and more often. I have less than 15 seconds on campaign before it crashes. I used to play this game everyday but this is really causing some problems. I tried deleting the game and installing it again with no result. I really hope it will be fixed as I am hoping to be able to play it again..Version: 1.12
✓ Great Game butThis game is amazing and is a lot of fun but the ai is just to predictable. When you ally Rome as say the franks or saxons they wait like 3 turns then betray you. Also I’ve noticed a bug with the Romano-british that you can’t train crossbowmen I’m not sure if I need to go to like Rome to train them. But over all great game. Also I was kinda disappointed with some of the Units for the barbarian factions as 3 of them are pretty much copy and paste. Was hoping you would take some creative liberty’s and spruced them up a little..Version: 1.12

✓ Great GameEverything the original PC version offered. So from a operating stand point runs flawless. For the developers, heart breaking to take away at least over 33 percent of the settlement. I haven’t played far enough to see if the settlements generate more gold since there are less. I’m playing as the Romano British... really tough I basically purchase as many mercenaries, and qued up a number and of soldiers. Knowing full well I won’t be profitable for sometime. The strategy was to unify all of Britain and Ireland with this army and couldn’t lose a single battle. Once kicking Rome and the Celts off main land Britain i rallied my men in Ireland to finish the Celts. They offered peace but I countered with a ridiculous sum of gold for peace. They accepted, instantly pushing me out of debt and allowing me to retrain my already high veteran units. The celts broke the peace and yet again we had the advantage with diplomacy. The celts paid for my new economy. I then sent diplomats across Europe and started trade. I’ve unified Britain and Ireland. Destroyed the Saxon’s and I’m fighting. back and forth between the Lombardi and the Almerinne..Version: 1.12

✓ UpdateThis is a great idea but there are definitely many noticeable differences in gameplay between this game and it’s mobile counterpart. First for some reason in the campaign when you start off you get a adequate amount of troops and are able to take a lot of nearby towns with little to no resistance, however once they are occupied about 80% of the troops that were part of the attack just suddenly disappear and I have not found a way to get them back, also I play on medium mode but even then somehow other enemies are able to get a bunch of troops in such a short amount of time, I would like this game to be updated as to where it’s the same as the other total war.Version: 1.11
