✓ 4:3 full frame/open gate mode for anamorphicWorth the 3bucks, using a moondog anamorphic lens in the 4:3 mode for great 16:9 video that has effective resolution of 5.4K (5336x3000) at 120MBps h265 this looks great. Works with the SHURE MV88 microphone! In app screen brightness control! Hold to start/stop recording! It’s a shame it hasn’t been updated for iPhone XS/XR tho :( I hope the developer will add XS/XR Or even iPhone11 support Would really love to see a 3:2 video mode (4032 by 2688) added. Or even a max open gate/full frame mode (4032 by 3024) Has great onscreen info on how much time you have left recording in the current resolution/bit rate (Filmic Pro take note....).RandomHajile2Version: 1.10

✗ Mic issuesWould have given a good rating but the mic input kept switching on me during a big project and ruined my whole project so thanks for nothing. ✗ My video is ruined...The only reason why I purchased this app is because of its ability to record in anamorphic (2:40) mode. I used iPhone 8+ to record my cousin’s wedding and I was extremely upset that the first batch of my video (worth 90 minutes of recording) was ruined. The video looks squeezed and weird. Unacceptable and extremely upsetting. Thank goodness I stopped and reviewed that batch before I continued to shoot another scene. I turned off the anamorphic feature and all was perfect.
