✓ Just WOWI used to play Trainz Simulator 2 all the time. This game just gives me nostalgia. The first time I clicked on Trainz 3 I was really excited. It is absolutely worth the money. I do have some suggestions. I think we need the Cass Scenic Railroad/shays, climax’s and heislers. I love the Cass Scenic Railroad and I’m sure lots of other people want to see it like me in the game. Thank you for creating this game :).Version: 1.0.77
✓ Looks like it’s going to be great.A really fantastic game with fantastic graphics. I would say it’s a great simulator. The most annoying thing for me at the moment is that you can’t seem to delete save games they just build up as multiple copies hence the four star at the moment. ✓ Happy but needs improvement.I kind of agree with the last guy. Please give American Rail fans what they want after this current span of European trains. I would like to see Union Pacific 4014, 844, and other UP based locomotives. The SP 4449 in it’s Daylight Colors with matching coaches and maybe a Forward Cab loco. Would be cool if you want to add some SP locos. If you gonna add a region maybe do a Cheyanne Wyoming based region with the UP Steam team workshop. That way a UP based region could make sense. You guess placed CSX in multiple regions already. Give some love to the UP fans. If you want to stay making East Coast American regions at least add more N&W locos. Like the 611 and many other N&W Steam and diesel locos that way the 2-8-8-4 you already have in the game can have other locos to give her company. But other than what I want to see add. Please make placing railway cars and locos quicker. When I place a locomotive that is quick and easy. But if I want to make a long train I have to repeat the process. After a while the process can get a little taxing to the player. Maybe don’t make us press so many buttons to place one train car..Version: 1.0.77

✓ AMAZING still could you use stuff thoThe game overall is mind blowing. The graphics are amazing! So amazing that it takes a while for them to render so their just blurred lol. I would love it if you updated the crash physics tho. It would make them game a little better. Also I would also love it if you could import custom skins for trains. ✓ The trains don’t derailI like trainz simulator 3 but when the trains derail the trains don’t slide off the track but in trainz simulator 2 the trains do slide off the track when they derail so I prefer the derailment’s in trainz simulator 2.Version: 1.0.77
✓ Improvements have been appreciatedHi N3V, I’ve been a Trainz 2 player for years now, and I just wanted to say that Trainz 3 is a major improvement. Also I want to thank you for such an awesome game, and I’m writing this message just after Summer Lake Pass and other content was released. I really like the addition of that route and I also appreciate that you’re adding new content (like new locos and free drive) to the game regularly, but I was wondering if you were planning to add any more routes within the foreseeable future. I would like to suggest the following to be added to the game if possible: 1. CN Holly Sub 2. Toronto Rail Lands 3. Rosworth Vale 4. C&O Hinton Division (since I’m a huge C&O/CSX fan) Or any North American themed route really… Also question, how’s progress on the world editor feature? (I’m not trying to rush you in any way, I’m just curious though). Also, I’m playing this on a 6th Gen iPad, do you know if that device supports shadows or not? ✓ Feels a little bit unfinishedI’ve been playing Trainz for years since the early version of the game on iPad way back in 2011, and it was really good, since then I stuck with the series eventually going on to the main series on PC… however Trainz 3 is a nice upgrade and is less laggy than TD2, it feels a bit unfinished… We were promised as the consumers and the players that this would be the best train sim on mobile, which it is, but it’s missing the magic the older ones had, the magic of being able to create your own routes and sessions like the series was originally created for… But the create session button and create route button is nowhere to be found, sure there’s the place trains button where you could place a train down on the track next to the current one but it’s not the same… I must say that Trainz 3 is fantastic, no doubt about it. However if this game is to improve the way forward is to have the ability to create sessions and routes… Take my advice N3V, a similar type of game that is made for the farming community called Farming simulator went the same road Trainz went, the games were fantastic but led to the mobile games downfall due to loosing the key features that it’s players came to know, which in that series was multiplayer. Please don’t make the same mistake, there’s still time to fix this. And I know it can be done because you guys have proven to do it before..Version: 1.0.74

✓ Add New Content, Bring Back Old Content, Fix Crashing Issue, Add Realistic DerailmentsAndThis game is certainly an upgrade from Trainz Driver 2. Much better graphics, new locomotives, and awesome routes. But, I only rated this 4 out of 5 for a few reasons. Reason 1 is that even though you guys have added lots of new locomotive content, all of it isn’t North American locomotives, and that’s annoying. I suggest that you add a BNSF H2 GE Dash 9, a Union Pacific flared radiator EMD SD70M, and a CN GE C40-8M to the content store. Reason 2 is that I also suggest you guys bring some old content back. Could you guys bring back the CN C40-8, and the NS Maersk Sealand SD40-2? I didn’t get the chance to buy it on the content store. Reason 3 is that for some reason the game keeps on crashing. Can you guys please figure out the problem and fix it? And the last and final reason is for you guys to add realistic derailments on the game. The game is realistic, but the derailments aren’t, and that also annoys me. A lot. That’s all I have to say..Version: 1.0.77
✓ Just like trianz 2Im not talking bad about the games the developers did a amazing job with this games and i be playing it 24/7 i have no issue with it . But one of the things that is hard is the menu not to hate but it a bit complex and it tiring to add every car and going back to the menu , i want it ro be like trainz where u can add any typa of car with out and add how many load u want but in trainz 2 u don’t have that option. North america DLC . ✓ More routes, trains and locomotivesI honestly love the game, I play it 24/7 and it’s always a blast for me, I love the livery of CSX and all the diesel locomotives, but I think there should be more iconic routes like the Conway Scenic Railroad based in New Hampshire. Maybe some Amtrak routes and the ACS-64 Electric loco would be cool to see added as well with realistic features and close to real life sounds as possible, just an opinion, it doesn’t have to happen though. But, in my opinion, if you add in the smaller coaches, and fix the battery problem, this game would be glorious with a capital G! ✓ Most advanced sim ever , But some things need to be addressedFirst off I am an engineer with CSX and i have to say that N3VGAMES did this one right with the realisic of sounds detail etc etc. I’ve spent a ton of money over the years with TS3, TANE, TS19 AND TS22 BETA. With that said i have found some issues with this one here’s what i think should be done with this game that will improve this game a ton. Can we see ts3 become a cross play with all other versions and can we also see in the future 3rd party content to be imported to TS3. I find myself playing ts3 more due to the on demand connection no glitches or freezing what so ever. I hope that the developers can come thru with this at some point they have done an awesome job so far keep up the great work. One more thing what’s up with the updates i have found that if you delete the app reinstall and restore purchases you get more dlc content on TS3 weird..Version: 1.0.77

But there is some stuff I was looking forward to that we never received. I know most of this stuff may be still in progress. I wish there was a world building feature like Trainz 2 had. I also wish there was more purchasable rolling stock. Also train acceleration speeds need to be tweaked. Most locomotives don’t have a realistic starting movement. They accelerate really fast. ✓ It drains my batteryThe game is a really good and cool simulator for driving trains but on my phone and iPad it range my battery from 100% to 0% in 45 minutes I don’t know if this is a bug or not or it might just be my battery or charges. The rail fans who play this wonderful game all have requested that U.S.A Big Boy and #844 need to come to the game. Also with the Blue Comet,Pennsylvania Railroad T1 4-4-4–4 and K4, along with some S2 and Q3s. Next is the maps. If you guys could get New York and New Haven line, and the Pennsylvania electric lines, with the Gg1 and coaches to complete the entire thing, I bet you will get more downloads. Derailments are next, and guess what? I’m tired of crashing trains and there is no derailment. You crash a train into a stalled one at full speed and it merely just stops and put the X over it, telling us the train has crashed. Add derailments so when a train crashes it falls off the track, goes down in a ditch, or even goes on its side. I will not rate this game 5 stars until I see improvements and what us player have been begging ever since this game came out in 2020. ✓ Second Review.I have Written 1 review already outlining the stunning beauty of this game, although there are some things I’d like to say. This new era of Trainz games with extremely good graphics for mobile has been an extensively fun discovery however the one biggest issue i had with this game was the lack of charm that the other 2 games had, understandably it would be a tall order to ask them to add that joy of creation to this game. I found the fun of creating railways missing here and it kinda took a way a chunk of Trainz away. ✓ Great graphics, Easy to use, but needs more US steam locomotivesI love playing this game, but I(and many others) would like to see more US steam locomotives, the content store has many UK and German locomotives, 8 US steam locomotives vs 15 UK, German, Australian, and Chinese locomotives(with UK having 11, Germany has 2, Australia and China both have 1 steam locomotive each. The Steam locomotives I want are the NYC Mohawk(with smoke deflectors), The Union Pacific Big Boy and/or Union Pacific #844, Pennsylvania Railroad K4, the Denver & Rio Grande Western L-105 class 3700, and AT&SF 2-8-2, N3V can use the model from Trainz 2, it will keep down production costs from having to create a brand new model.Version: 1.0.77

✓ Game doesn’t work on my new iphone.I love this game. It is by far the best mobile train simulator, with incredible realism. However, I recently upgraded from an iPhone 10S Max to an iPhone 14 Pro Max, re-download the game from the cloud, and the game keeps shutting off. Then I can’t get passed the initial loading screen. The screen goes blank. To remedy this I have deleted and reinstalled it multiple times. Now I can’t get passed the first tutorial. It shuts off while playing..Version: 1.0.77

✓ Amazing, but two problemsThis game is probably the most advanced and realistic train simulator I have ever seen on IOS. You can have high speed trains and an actual high speed rail line, you can double head trains and it is just an overall great game. But, when you buy the game and then buy some of the trains and cars that they have to offer, but they take up a lot of space on your device. Secondly, I personally think that they should add more popular locomotives like UP 844 for example, or maybe a PRR K4. ✓ Engine throttle sounds.Hey there, this is an absolutely amazing train sim for mobile! The only thing that is preventing me from giving it a 5 star is the engine throttle sounds. They sound weird going in stages. Eg. when you throttle up a diesel to full, the sounds go in stages and it is not very realistic. ✓ Needs fixing but GoodOk so I’m a huge trainz mobile fan. I got the first trainz mobile when I was 7 or 8. Anyways this game is really fun to play but I have some problems with it. 1) There’s no surveyor. I was excited to use the new stuff to make epic routes set in the Great Plains or the Rockies. 2) No settings. It’s really annoying to see my Y6B with a headlamp that defies the laws of physics. It’s just... floating in mid air, somehow moving with the train 3) Crashes. Sometimes this game just randomly crashes right outta the blue. I’ll be driving a heavy freight train one second and the next I’m at my home screen. 4) No main menu. The second I open the game up it puts me right into Kickstarter County or whatever route I was last in. No main menu sequence to find the route I want to play on, unlike Trainz 1 and 2. All in all, this game felt rushed for a quick release. It’s good, and I urge anyone to try it out for themselves if they’re thinking about buying it, but I think it needed more time before it should’ve been released and in my opinion I think Trainz 3 should’ve been a port of TS12 or T:ANE..Version: 1.0.77

✓ Minor BugsOverall the game is fantastic love the graphics love the locomotives in the game but there are some minor details that could be fixed in the future one sounds on the local models don’t match with the Proto types for instance the Conrail Dash eights have a EMD steel bell and the Norfolk Southern 40s have a steel bell and I understand that the game was released no updates have came out yet and not only just those two details some of the engines have some of the same sounds and it be nice if they had different sounds for each particular locomotive and secondly on the one map where you go into or out of the tunnel on the one curve you always derail well if you’re coming out of the tunnel you the rail but if you try to go to the tunnel you’ll derail and I don’t understand why that happens but I would like to see that get fixed in order to actually have trains run in each direction but like I said over all the game is fantastic can’t wait to see what future updates have in store thank you!!.Version: 1.0.77
✓ Great!This is an outstanding version of Trainz. I just upgraded from TD2 and the difference is astounding! I own TRS19 for Windows, and this mobile version is nearly identical. The graphics look great even on our 5th-gen iPad, and many of the DLC items that were used on TANE and TRS19 are available to buy. I especially like how they added a freeware version of City & Country USA to the Content Store (being a TD2 user). Can’t wait for Surveyor!.Version: 1.0.77

✓ Fun game but…This is a fun game but you may not be able to play your game at the moment (due to many different reasons N3V games may give) anyway, I also think they should add some more locomotives particularly some Great Western locomotives like the Great Bear (the only GWR pacific ever built), the GWR steam rail motor with it’s trailer, and the Auto Train (which consists of an 14XX and one or two Auto coaches), and some LNER locomotives like the A4, W1 (original and rebuilt), and the U1 last but not least some London Midland and Scottish locomotives like the Turbomotive and the LMS Garrett..Version: 1.0.77

✓ Great graphics! Very fun gameplayThis came out of nowhere for me! I was surprised to see this on iOS/iPadOS and it’s graphically very good!! It’s at or near desktop class train gaming. I had one issue so far with the frame rate going choppy. I’m not sure if it’s a memory leak or just needs some optimization, but it was all good after saving my game and closing/reopening the game. ✓ Minor bugs but amazing gameI remember when i was little and played the first two train simulator games, and i remember that they weren't perfect but still fun. some problems i found were that the camera option to free roam sometimes bugged out to where i could not move from car to car or leave the train. same goes for deleting or moving trains in free drive, it glitches out sometimes. but to be fair, the game did come out a couple months ago. great start, but can be fixed up a little to have an amazing end..Version: 1.0.77

✓ Absolutely BrilliantThis train game is the best. But the reason I have gave 4 Stars is because the game has crashed on me when I do the Europe High Speed Route. Also on my IPad my battery drains quickly when I Play this if you can please fix this. But also I would like you add surveyor where we can create our own routes just like in Trainz 2. ✓ Engine Bugs/Route PlacementIt is an amazing game!! However the N&W Y6B is an amazing locomotive but it is not fully numbered & there is a bug where the wheels will just stop spinning for a minute as it’s chugging along, also the NKP S-2 is not fully numbered plus it has a bug where when you first blow the whistle it does for a second then stops & then continues which is odd. Lastly instead of making Summer Lake Pass & Summer Lake Valley two different routes why don’t y’all just combine them into 1 long route?? It’s the same route anyway so that I don’t understand. ✓ Overall Great, but with several bugsN3V, this game is great. I downloaded Trainz Simulator 2 when it was introduced, and I was wondering what the next one would be. Well, TS3 is a massive upgrade. The graphics are amazing; the content is more realistic; and the maps are more enjoyable. Having different HUD displays for speed and gradients truest simplifies the driving experience. I enjoy the realistic sounds of the EMD SD70 and C40-8W; it feels spectacular. But in the midst of success, there are still a few bugs. When you load the game, it immediately throws you into a world (the tutorial or one you were playing earlier). It seems rather annoying and more chaotic compared to TS2s interface. There are some problems with saving worlds as well. Sometimes I do not want to save progress; however, when I reload the session, it resumes right where something happened (I.e, a train derailment). I know you guys are working to fix them, but I’m hoping they get fixed before releasing a World Builder; the game would be more enjoyable with the bugs fixed. In my opinion the menus are odd and weird to navigate it’s nothing like Trainz 2 where you can place multiple assets at once , this game you have to place one go back to the menu and place another. ✓ Problematic also no surveyorThere are problems with me getting kicked out of the app. But the game has just been realised when writing this so it will get fixed. But it’s mainly good game. Actually now that I think about it there is one major problem. I can’t find surveyor which leads me to believe there is no surveyor mode in this one. Surveyor is the best part of the train simulator games and seeing the lack of it is really disappointed. I waited half a month for this game to make epic routes in surveyor and not being able to do it makes me really upset. Pls add spectator it’s my fav game mode. ✓ Trainz 3 is not loading anymoreEvery time I try playing Trainz 3 now all I get is a white screen and nothing else I’ve literally tried everything to try and fix it and nothing is working the game just stays on the white screen forever and it just stays there I’ve even opened the game and left it open for 6 hours and when I came back it was still on a white screen. Better movement physics (Slower Acceleration with larger train load / better braking system / The trains move too light and speed up too quick) A Home / Menu Screen to change login settings, graphic settings, audio settings, etc A better consist placer menu, rapid placement setting In-game UI hider, setting to disable automatic UI-Hiding When making the maps, make the switches more smooth Add FOV Zoom function, fix orbit settings, invert vertical & horizontal look direction. Ability to change time, weather, and temperature Add more functions and features like (Custom Locomotive Repaints, Custom routes, Local Locomotive Settings, etc) Make touch screen more useable as far as using the sliders for the advanced control setting. Make more content, as far as I want would be some Northeastern American Commuter rail like ALP-46, ALP-45, Multilevel Trailers, Comet V Trailers, GP40PH-2(B), F40PH-2CAT, ACS-64, Amfleets (That also go with the AMTRAK P42), etc. I know these ideas have been mentioned already or are in the works but please take consideration in majority of these fixes.......Version: 1.0.77
✓ Suggestions and ConercnsThe game so far is pretty well made, It’s a decent upgrade to the previous game engines of Trainz driver 1 and 2. The routes are beautiful and the locomotives have similar graphics to older generation train simulators, which for mobile is VERY decent. However. The Trainz series has always stood out to me for 3 things. Route Creator, Quick drive and free drive. Which, NONE of these features are in this game. I think I speak for the fans when I ask for these features to be added. Otherwise it’s very similar to your generic Train simulator on console or PC. ✓ Great, but some issuesFirst of, I’d like to say that overall, this game is great, but a few things, one you need to add derailments! I had to trains collide at like over 100mph, when they hit, all it does is puts x’s above, second, more trains, you need to add more trains, I mean, you put quite a few in, but you need to add trains like mallord or big boy, finally, you need to fix stuff, when I blow the whistle on the L.M.S, in the middle of the whistle it bugs out, also, the Amtrak doesn’t even have any coaches, which is a bummer because really like Amtrak, but the game is great..Version: 1.0.77

✓ Amazing update to Trainz 2I loved Trainz 2 for many years, so I'm happy to see this new version with amazing graphics. as the other reviews/comments mention, there certainly are some bugs and it does use a lot of battery life, but it's still an amazing new Trainz game that'll be relaxing and fun gaming for me. the new Home Menu UI/UX is confusing and needs revamping. still, this is deserves a 4.5-star rating from me. not perfect, but it is amazing..Version: 1.0.77

✓ Really Good… but a few problemsI’m a (somewhat) longtime Trainz user who first used mobile and then got into TANE. I pre-ordered it, bought a bit of DLC (the two British routes and the three British steam locos - I like me some British trains), and I gotta say, it’s pretty good. It looks great on mobile - maybe even the best-looking mobile game in general - and it runs great on my phone (though it is a 12 Pro, so your mileage may vary.) However, my phone can get a bit hot after playing this game for a few minuts, and that is what is really holding me back from giving this game 5 stars. Nonetheless, this is a huge step up for Trainz Mobile, and can even give you a bit of a taste of TRS19, since it looks so similar to that game..Version: 1.0.77
✓ Strange switch glitchOk so the game has been fantastic so far but all of a sudden I can’t go through some switches. No matter the direction or speed. It never lights up the signals. If I have it switched to the right track. It even doesn’t work. And I derail way before I get near the switch. The couple switches in question are the ones at the Pinnacle east yard. Number 11 and 10. They are Pinniacle Main-11 and Pinnacle main-10. Those keep glitching out on my game. The rest is fun. Graphics are good good amount of content and stuff to do. ✓ BEST TRAIN GAME (with some suggestions)I love this game! it has realistic graphics with a bunch of trains to choose from but… I do have some suggestions. first: add realistic derailments, it will add a bit more realism into the game. But the iPad Air 3 crashes quite often due to the limited memory it has, and buying a new device is quite expensive. ✓ Wonderful App - Some SuggestionsThis is a wonderful app that I have spent many hours on, but there are a few things I would like to suggest. One of my suggestions would be some sort of “Properties” button/feature, so players can edit the rolling stock with their loads and quantity of those loads. Another suggestion would be more UK freight rolling stock; such as vans, wagons, flatbeds, and break vans. There are also some locomotive models that I would like to suggest. A model that I would like to see is a USATC S100 (USA Tank). There could be two available versions (like the USATC S160); one with American knuckle couplers, and the “USATC” logo on the side tanks; and the other with buffers, hook-and-chain couplers, and the BR logo on the side tanks. Another model would be a Heisler locomotive, as they are unique steam locomotives. I’m sure the dev team are working on future content for the app, and I just wanted to make a few suggestions..Version: 1.0.77

✓ Outstanding Game! + Some SuggestionsThis game is amazing so far, it’s very fun & easy to use. The interface is very clean so it’s a great game to play. I’ve downloaded a few of the D.L.C stuff, and they’re worth the price. The engines don’t have the same default horn & bell anymore, like in the previous game. The game has a great frame rate; there’s only very few times when the game lags. The graphics are great, all the engine models are made well. Although, there’s some cons. Whenever I try to spawn railcars for a train, in the menu, sometimes it switches to the next railcar in the menu. Even though I said the interfaces are very clean, this still happens. However, this doesn’t happen very much.
