It looks really out of date, it’s very sparse, and the schedule doesn’t match up with the one in the book. ✓ Not InteractivePurchased at the recommendation of a friend so didn’t actually read the description prior to purchasing, totally my fault. However, this is literally just a visual schedule and not worth paying for since you cannot easily edit or add additional information like feeding amounts to track actual data for your baby. Like others have said, I am still using the Notes app to manually enter the feeding information - actual times and total feeding time/amounts (I am both breastfeeding and formula feeding at the moment). Would be nice to have an app that tracks everything, including diaper changes..Version: 2.6

✓ Not what I thoughtI never use apps that’s aren’t free but as a mom of a 10 week old, I thought this one would be worth paying for. I have the book and I have been keeping track of my baby’s timing through the day in my phone notes and on all kinds of papers around the house. I thought this app would allow me to type in when my son actually sleeps and feeds so I could be notified for when the next one begins but all it is is a list exactly like the book. ✓ Do not spend money on this appThis app would be great if you have the perfect baby who operates on the exact same schedule every day. If you don’t, it’s not useful at all. Babies are inherently unpredictable and they don’t always wake up at 7, want to eat at their prescribed times, and nap for exactly 2 hours just when you want them to. Not to mention, not many moms spend their entire days at home without running errands or going to appointments that inevitably move around the nap and eating schedule. ✓ Scattered informationI spent $150+ to buy the online course bundle but the online courses are missing some information about how to handle middle of the night feedings that this app has. I’ve also heard the book has slightly more/different explanations. ✓ It’s Not Horrible - could be betterI read the reviews and was super skeptical about buying this app. Most reviews said it was non-customizable. I have the 0-6mo book and it states in the book that options are available for different schedules in the app so I wanted to see for myself and just paid the $3.99. I am happy to say you definitely CAN customize a schedule based on your life - i.e. changing feeding times and nap times etc. to accommodate work schedules and stuff. But that is literally all it can do. But in my opinion, if you have the book, or know the basis of the schedule that moms on call uses, you don’t need this app at all. Just write it down yourself what schedule you want to use. The downfall with this app is mostly the fact that you cannot actually keep track of what your baby is actually doing that day. The app Baby Tracker is phenomenal with tracking the times your baby is actually eating and sleeping but lacks the recommended schedule section that MOC has. In my opinion, MOC Schedule app NEEDS to add a way to track your baby’s eating and sleeping to be able to compare it to what they SHOULD be doing. This would greatly benefit the subscribers and make the app so much better. So in conclusion, this app is not worth the money..Version: 2.4
✓ ErrorsThe app was working good for the first week then when it changed schedules since my son got older it now gives a notification for the new schedule and the old! I’ve tried turning the notifications off and it still dings at the times! I keep going into the app to make sure the notifications are set to off and they are!!! ✓ UselessI thought that for $3.99 there would be some level of customization here, but beyond choosing your kids' ages it's a set schedule, which you can find in the book or online. What would be super useful to me is if I could tweak the schedule to reflect my life with two kids since the reality is the baby's schedule will have to fit around his brother's. In an ideal world, I would be able to plug in my older son's schedule - including things like school drop off, etc - and the app would help create an ideal schedule for the baby around that. I have the books, but new mama brain set in and I could hardly remember what I had read so the app helped me on a daily basis know the basics. However, this app has so much more potential to be a mama’s lifesaver - I found us using this plus a daily baby tracker but would LOVE it if tracking capabilities lived in this app itself. ✓ Old version was LIFEThe old version of this app was MY LIFE with my first baby in Oct of 2014. Those hazey scrambled first days could be sorted for me and it helped me calm down and keep a decent routine when I thought I couldn’t get it together! Now 6 weeks out from my second baby I went to redownload and there is an updated version. While, I understand keeping things fresh and updating is necessary in this ever changing world, this was not the app to mess with. Your previous version was simple and straight to the point and the tips under each time were exactly what was needed. Now it’s all over the place. ✓ Not worth itI had purchased this app 3 years ago with my first child. Absolutely loved it because of how thorough it was explaining the daily routine. Well, for some reason it never saved in my ICloud so I had to purchase a Again. Everything has changed from original app, for the most part. This new version is not as informative and constantly tells you to refer to their book. Maybe I should of just bought the book, probably would of gotten a lot more information and use out of it. Disappointed in the app compared to the one I had 3 years ago. ✓ What exactly am I paying for??This app is really pretty useless. ALL it is is a schedule that updates every few weeks/months as your baby gets older. You can “customize” your schedule, but literally all that means is that you can build your own schedule. You have to figure out all the times yourself with no guidelines. I can do that more easily in Notes! I also found more than a few typos which was really off-putting. It’s like no one put much time or thought into this app, and just decided to charge $4 for it. So ridiculous! As for the Moms On Call program itself—I have friends who swear by it (which is why I bought the book and the app) but it didn’t work for me at all. It was so rigid, and I found it impossible to stick to, especially while breastfeeding. (Everyone I knew who had used it bottle-fed, which can be easier to schedule.) They also advise letting babies cry it out when they’re 3-4 months old. That’s SO little!!! I’ve found my daughter crying because she was unable to move herself away from a pile of spit up, and I would've felt terrible if I had just left her there face down in it all night! I know this program works for some people, but I’m so not a fan. Babies are unique humans, and the rigidity of this program doesn’t allow for that and can cause a lot of anxiety in parents and babies alike. Also the app is dumb 😕.Version: 2.6

✓ Joke of an appI had the old app which just basically had the schedules from the book and worked fine, but it wouldn’t update with iOS 11. I contacted the company and they wouldn’t refund or grant access to the new app, so I had to buy the new one (which feels like extortion). The new one has only one schedule option per age group (the old had 2), and it is not customizable, making it rather pointless to set reminders unless you are following the precise schedule. Kinda hard when I was following the second option for one of the schedules, which isn’t even available here. Moms on Call should have automatically updated their old customers and maybe I wouldn’t be so frustrated with how bad this app is. With the crazy amount of money they make, they need to hire a decent developer and make a worthwhile app. It should have all the options that are in the book as a starting point, allow you to customize, and even allow you to import into your calendar..Version: 2.1

✓ Just buy the bookThe app literally does nothing. You type your child’s name and birthdate and get access to the same info that is in the book. I thought this would be similar to the Huckleberry app that allows you to put in data (sleeping time, diapers, pumping, eating etc..) ✓ EhhI like the idea of this app but it really needs to be improved because it’s not worth the money at this point. There needs to be an easier way to adjust the daily wake time without having to edit each individual part of the schedule. It automatically has 7am as wake up for my kids. They both wake at 8am and it’s extremely annoying that I can’t just bump the schedule to 8. My 2.5yo does not nap and I wish I could delete the nap from his schedule but it won’t let me. I have tried absolutely everything to keep his nap but it’s just not happening. Not all children need that nap at his age. It would be really nice to have a bit more freedom with the way schedules are displayed. I also agree it would be nice if we could track feedings/sleep/ect in the app to compare. No help with food options, no help with getting your child to sleep through the night. Any questions you may have they direct to their book which is not included in this purchase.
