✓ Data lossIf you lose your phone and download the app again, youll lose all your saved data including money spent on the game. If you want to avoid this, do the data transfer first in settings... ✓ The bugsUsed to love this game had a 4 year account then got deleted and lost everything. I was fine with that because I thought hey it’ll be fun to retry the game. So I redone load it now every time I try to go through the tutorial like it makes you, it cuts out then says either the connection is unstable or it’s down or something in between the lines. I restarted my phone deleted the app and got the same thing I did get passed the tutorial once but when I would do the missions right after completing one it would say connecting then say it was unstable and send me back to the opening screen. If this bug can be fixed I’d surely get it again but until then I’ll just have it on my phone trying to check it once a week but after a month of two of it saying that I’m going to just delete it all together..Version: 1.41.2
✓ Really good but...It's extremely enjoyable to play, the actions are intense, its really easy to understand the concepts, but later onto the gun gale online saga it's impossible to beat as the stages get like 10 times harder than the last stages from the previous arc..Version: 2.1.1
✓ Crashing and unable to loadThe game crashes very frequently, I’ll say In every 2 hours they’ll likely be at least 3 crashes. We’ve been having this issue for a while and it’s not that bad because the game progress is saved. Now comes this new problem where the system wouldn’t connect and we are unable to join or form parties, there isn’t a way to fix it and it’s very frustrating..Version: 2.0.1
✓ Money pit after around 3 hours.Great game and story to go with it. When you get to the events and extras you will find (or in this games case, or find) that 5 star characters are more for the people who enjoy spending money on the game. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t mind spending money on a good game, but this game will cost a devoted player a few hundred dollars easy. Unless you want to play endless hours day after day, you will only get the lower class characters. The 11 drop chances that you see only give 1-2 higher drops. You get a 3 Star around 90% of the time and a 4 about 9%. You can see how likely it will be to get a 5 Star. The special events are a nightmare to add. Finishing almost every Master +1 is like putting your hand in a blender. Even if you manage to level a character to level 100, these special quests will ruin you. You need the 5 Star Weapons to go with them. Yes they are just as hard to get as the characters..Version: 1.18.0

✓ Probably shouldn’t play this gameOf course, when doing story the game is pretty fun. But once you get to GGO it’s all difficult, especially hard mode. It’s kind of a pay to win because they keep putting out characters as If you’d have enough memory diamonds to get them! This game has no chill, and cannot wait for releasing. Plus, it’s repetitive. Players in town get characters literally just to show off usually. Majority players would say that they quit. Majority just stay in town to roleplay and talk. (The community is super toxic and low IQ but oh well) this game literally expects you to spend 2 or more hours on repeating the same difficult boss battle over and over again. Like, what’s the fun in that? Prolly shouldn’t get this game. It’s literally repetitive and dumb cause they expect you to spend your whole day and all your money on it. The 6* era is when I realized this all. What’re you gonna put 7* characters now? But anyway, I’m only still playing because I got friends on there and I guess the character skills look cool and satisfying- but if you want pretty skills then go to Honkai or Genshin impact Idk..Version: 2.3.0

✓ Really disappointedThis game is good at first but when you level up your party to max you realize how bad your characters and in the late game. And you just invested so much time and energy to get your characters to max level and you can’t do anything more with your other characters. Another problem I have with this game is that it’s so hard to get gems in late game. You want new characters but you have to by in a ten pack in order to guarantee to get a high star character. Unlike genshin where every 10 you will get a 4 star item or higher no matter if you by the ten pack or not, this game makes it where you buy 10 characters, get 8 two star repeats and a random character you didn’t want and a characters you want with hours on grinding on that one character. It also gets to a point where the game is repetitive and has no reason to play expect you want that new version of your favorite characters. This game is heavily p2w and that discourages players to play a game in general. If you’re an sao fan don’t waste your time on this game as there are better sao games. Maybe they can run on your device but it’s better the playing a repetitive p2w game..Version: 2.1.4
✓ I have a problem..Hi i have a problem with the app.. the app is great and stuff but when I logged on pressed link start, it loaded then after that there was a black screen then made me get kicked out the game to return to my home screen.. I pressed repair game data but it still wasn’t fixed.. I tried to get on many times but it still failed.. I resetted my phone, cleared my storage, deleted some apps, and it still doesn’t work. ✓ I love SAO but the summonings though..I really love SAO. I got this game last year on my phone and I really loved it. One thing I have to say is probably the summons to be honest. I've spent 250 diamonds on a character summon and I hardly get any character I really want, I have been only getting nothing but 2 or 3 star characters. You suspect to get at LEAST one 4 star character because it's a 11 summon so you would at least get one but no that does not happen. I have been seeing people getting 4 or 5 star characters and all I have to say they probably got really lucky. Me, not so lucky. I'm okay at least getting one 4 star character from anyone in the series just anyone! One last thing I have to say is, at least put a "guarantee one 4 star character or higher" on a 11 character summon, that would at least be better..Version: 1.17.0
✓ Amazing! But,.....I love this game very much, it’s amazing and many more wonderful things. But other player and I kinda wish there were a few more things added.. 1; More quests, 2; More multiplayer quests, and last and not least (mostly requested by other players I interacted with) A trading system. Okay so for 1 (more quests) there should be more storylines added instead of SAO, ALO, and GGO. Like for an example SAO 2? For 2 (more multiplayer quests). Wish there was more quests added and a few more we can do with other players and Maybe a bigger party limit instead of 3(if that’s even possible). Mostly recently asked ; number 3. A trading system should be added. Like.. let’s say if it was added what we should be able to trade is Items, Equipment and Characters with other players. And all it requires is just a small 4 digit passcode (to be sure it’s not a hacker or your sibling being stupid) to confirm that you want to make the choice of trading, and if the same player your trading with can also give back your character. And whenever a character is traded the lv should be reset to have fun leveling the character by your self. ✓ Its a great game but...I like the game format of battling but there’s a lot of issues. I don’t like how it takes up a lot of storage like I need photos and stuff. Also there’s a point where after about 45 minutes my phone gets super hot. I also don’t like the fact that people share personal info in chats and nothing to stop them. The game crashes when I’m in there too long and it can’t push anything. With battling, the mds get lower and it’s getting unfair. With master it’s impossible because the monster keeps hitting me and I can’t move at all!! This game is supposed to be similar to the anime but all the new characters are just weddings and bikinis it’s very annoying. Another thing is grinding takes too long! I spend like 2 hours getting mds them all I get are 2 and 3 star characters! At least give me a 4 star because I don’t like it when it’s not worth anything! Some scout characters are also very inappropriate for example, a Christmas Asuna wasn’t being very appropriate. This game is 12+ you should protect teens from these things! There’s barely any story from the anime in this. Just the thought of seeing a game supposed be related to the anime has more made up stories is just a no to me. Rankings are also just making me play the game more which my phone heats up. When my phone heats up, it may explode. This is why I think this game should take less storage!.Version: 1.38.2

✓ Missing event crystalsI love the game, it a addictive game that even made me spend a thousand dollars on it. The only problem is the lags and glitches on some devices. Even when that happens, I just go through with it and forget it about it afterwards. Everything was fine but today I saw a first real glitch at hand, it was for the ticket scout [time traveler] Makoto. I already had the Makoto from the ticket event and wanted to get the hacking crystals for her and Thokk, everything was fine, it shows that I got 100 purgatory hacking crystals and I was fine. But once I reached Makoto’s limit break max +5 button, it showed not enough items. I was suprised and I went to check back my items list and saw nothing there. It showed the same amount of regular hacking crystal I had last time, thinking it was a glitch but it was the same number. Then I checked to see if I got Thokk by accident but I went to press filter, 5 star, fire element, and rod, but it showed nothing. It is such a let down to see that all my effort in the ranking event and supporting event wasted on a glitch that gave me nothing. I hope that Bandai will fix this glitch and give back the respected items that players have worked for in the couple of years people have played..Version: 1.39.0

✓ Lack of balanceThis game is great starting out. The story campaign is fairly good at balancing difficulty for the player. However, the extra quests is the true downfall of the game. While I do think the extra quests are a great touch to the game, the balance of difficulty is completely skewed compared to the story campaign. Some extra quests are recommended at level 80 but even meeting those recommendations it’s impossible to actually complete it. In my personal experience, with the new Valentine’s day quest for Memory Diamonds, all of the quest have a recommendation level of 50. I far exceed this recommendation level by 30 for all 3 of my characters. With this, the second to last quest within the series is impossible to complete with the time allotted and the ridiculous amount of knockdowns and paralyzing that occurs. ADDING PARALYSIS TO THIS GAME WAS THE WORST THING THAT COULD OF HAPPENED. I uninstalled the app, only to find out my account is forever gone due to the tedious account recovery process..Version: 1.22.2
✓ Re-reviewPreviously 1 star due to the “game transfer system” being the only option for saving. Had lost my account due to life circumstances beyond my control. Customer support was unhelpful. Up to 3 stars now they added Facebook as a save method. This is infinitely better. The loss of 2 stars is the PTW style. In order to win in the ranking (the only real multiplayer competition)- you must win the numbers game. Most of the score is based on time (so the less time it takes to kill a boss the higher your score). To get the best time, you have to have maxed out ranking characters with maxed out gear. Both the character and the weapons are separate 4% gatchas. So you have to get lucky to get the character and then get lucky again for the weapons. To max the characters and weapons out additional rare items are needed, and the method is to get duplicates of those characters and weapons- subject to the 4% chance to get them. I get they have to make profit since it is a business, but the people that fork over thousands will keep it going easily. It’s hard for the rest of us to justify forking money over for a try at multiple 4% drawings. The game itself is really fun. But- like Kirito says in the anime: strength isn’t real in SAO- it’s all numbers and stats..Version: 1.29.3

✓ Advancement PayFor the past few days, i wanted just one unit. One character. And all i asked was just that one character and nothing else. Even to the point where i’d spend money on a game like this. And i’m not talking about just $10. I spent $100+ and yet, all you gave me is a different featured charcter and continued to give me just worthless other characters. With the amount of money i spent, you could had been generous and atleast gave me the unit (atleast once). One of her is all i asked. Nothing more. I would had been happy just having spawning her just once. But instead, you’d rather just take the money and not even please your consumers. Therefore, just take the money. I won’t even consider contacting my app store company for a refund. You can have the money as you’d need it for to keep this worthless game running. Keep it. And take it. ✓ Used to love it...I’ve been playing this game since global launch and I fell in love with it. It’s easy to spend time playing quests and doing events, especially as a beginner when everything is new and there’s so much to do. The animation is great and guild communities are half the reason why this game is so amazing. But lately, the power creep has been getting bad. As a strict f2p or free to play user, I have an edge only with my long experience. But competing against whales, or players who spend to get new units, means that I’m often outclassed. For new players entering, having to compete against players with more units and players who spend to get top class gear and fully level up their units can be aggravating. It can be seemingly impossible to level up and gain the large rewards because you’re always outclassed by whales. You have to spend a lot of time as well to grind events and get scouting currency which can be difficult to keep up with. All in all, I think if you find a guild of ppl that you click with and have fun doing events with, this game will be much less aggravating, but with its low scout rates and huge power creep, it can be very difficult to enjoy. The only reason I’ve stayed so long is because of the discord community and my guild mates because right now the game is a mess..Version: 1.31.1
✓ BossesI love the game, I play it daily. I’m an aggressive player, I hate having to wait to parry and block. But the bosses are a bit hard. I find myself spending 2 memory diamonds because I’m so close to beating them. Why can’t 3 star characters be evolved? 4 stars are hard enough to get without having to wait for new events to get hacking crystals. Resistance enemies take little to no damage at all. Getting ready to parry takes to long. This game is hard for those aggressive players out there who like to get into the action. You almost have to parry and block if you want to survive the level without spending 2 diamonds to finish it. Why are there no healing items? You could buy them from a merchant, the better the healing item, the more it costs. That’s how most RPG games go. Healing items are essential for new players in the game, possibly experienced players. 3 star characters should be able to get evolved to, doesn’t mean it has to change the characters appearance, just change stats..Version: 1.21.0

✓ Great game but...I believe this is a pretty awesome game. The combat system is unique in its own way and when I play I feel like it's really an SAO game(not just bc the characters). The only hangups I have is the availability of diamonds. The game only puts out so many through the story mode and events, and when i try to pull new characters they are always low star. It would be nice if 5 star characters were more attainable bc everytime i save enough diamonds i get crappy characters and have to start over again but it take forever to save enough for another pull. Ive stopped and restarted the game countless times bc of this. Im all for utilizing in-app purchases bc i know the app needs to make its revenue to continue doing what it does but the amount of diamonds you get for the money you spend is ABSOLUTELY ridiculous and unfair. I stopped making purchases bc of this and if they were to increase the amount of in-game currency you recieve for the amount of money spent i would have no problem spending more. ✓ Very Fun Game but to many crashesI love this game, the characters design are on point and it is not too difficult to get crystals. The missions are challenging, they require some skill and patterns memorization. However the game crashes a lot. When I try to do Coop play, as soon as I get in the mission it crashes. When I want to try the character skill it doesn’t let me. With all the crashes it really ruins the immersions of the game. ✓ Just dont.It’s a gacha game, plain and simple. If you want something, there’s no other choice for you than to either pray to the rng gods or pull out your wallet. A lot of effort has been put into this game, it’s absolutely clear, however it’s all been put into the wrong areas. So what if it has good gameplay, if all its going to do is make you repeatedly grind the same boss for up to 6 hours? At most each event gives you meager rewards, not even enough for a single multi pull on the banners. Their business model is built around rubbing stuff you cant have in your face 24/7 and tbh im sick of it. Unless you have a deep wallet, dont bother picking up this game, it simply isnt worth your time. I have been a fervent player since launch and have kept going in the hopes of what was to come in the future, but now my patience is spent. The rates shrunk from an initial 4% down to 3% for the characters actually worth anything so we’re actually worse off than we used to be. And even if you do get something, it most likely wont be the character you wanted. Oh and it’s also littered with girls in undergarments too, if that’s your thing..Version: 1.26.1
