✓ It’s great, but I have some suggestionsThese are just two things I think would improve the site/app. First is being able to delete reviews that YOU made. I’ve made a great many reviews I regret and even a few straight up accidents, so it would be nice to be able to delete my own reviews whether it be individually by clicking on the specific review or collectively with ‘delete all’ option in settings. This could also be improved further by making it possible to edit reviews. Second would be a better filter. It’s improved a lot lately but there’s still some annoying limitations. For instance you can only have a certain amount of filters on before it fails. You can search for key words but can’t filter out key words (would be useful for avoiding tags that aren’t an actual genre, such as harem)..Version: 35.5

✓ Amazing, but can get betterThe app is amazing the only thing you could add is where you enter a topic say harry potter but we can also cross reference it with others say time travel and it should show harry potter time travel fanfic. Another thing is reviews can we like delete them and do more than one review. ✓ Talk to text microphone in the way.I love this app, and the recent update with the talk to text was a good idea, however I wish there was a way to get the little microphone off the screen, it’s a little annoying having it in the corner of the screen, especially when proofreading. Try and filter out dead fandoms with a lot of content. Likewise in the search bar, you have to search exactly what you want or nothing shows up. Maybe some kind of auto spell check or a better relevance algorithm? Or the ability to search one fandom?.Version: 27.12
✓ Overall great but a few issuesOverall the app is great. Easy to use, easy to post stuff, and all. I do have a free issues however: PMs I have to mainly do through the web as they are not on the app at all. Kinda weird but hopefully that can be sorted out. Polls are not available on the app. I love to use polls to get reader input on some things; chapter titles, one-shots, plot points I’m torn between, etc. The polls have only ever been available on desktop, but hopefully they can be added to the mobile site and the app. I really enjoy both being able to give and get input. Some writers really just need help on what they can write and being able to interact, both with the readers and the author, makes one feel more connected to the story..Version: 51.0

✓ Easy and SimpleIt does what it’s meant to do. The mobile website is fairly useless. This app does the job with no extra frills. It’s easy to search for a story/author. It’s easy to have saved searches, including filters. You can bookmark a specific location in a story (good if the chapter is long!). It remembers what you last read in addition to providing a history of what you’ve read. Searching/reading, uploading & managing your story. I recently uploaded a new chapter and it was, arguably, faster than doing it on my laptop..Version: 40.4

✓ Update changesThis is one of my favourite apps to read fanfic on along with Wattpad. The bookmark addition is a great idea, but not how add a bookmark. The hold on location or over a word to place a bookmark has now taken away the ability with iOS app to lookup definition of unknown words, I used the feature a lot in stories. ✓ Good overall but annoying bugsIt’s been working great for the most part, but there is this annoying bug where I am not getting any notifications about updates on followed fics. ✓ Great appThe app is very fluid and works well, I was surprised that it worked as well as it did. My only issue is I wish there was a reload or refresh page button like on a browser. I use fanfic for stories and forums and to reload the forum you have to back out then go back into the forum to check if there has been a reply. Other than this the app is great..Version: 5.7
✓ One ThingGreat app, let’s me get creative and write other people’s stories. My only complaint is that the story keeps resetting to the top everytime I exit and I do not like it. ✓ Awesome appHi, love the app, use it daily. Currently has a small glitch. I have re installed the app and it’s still happening. I have over 1000 books, and so I am always scrolling down, but at the moment if I click onto a book, read it finish it, once I return to my library the list is back to the very start. Even just accidentally clicking on a book while swiping and then immediately going back also sends it straight back to the top. This is frustrating. Please have a look. Thanks.Version: 36.1

✓ Great AppI’ve used this app for a while now and it has proved to be reliable and easy to use. There are many great features this app brings; especially the download story feature. For all that the app is, I must commend the developers for continuously updating and evolving the app, especially after considering the fact that there is no funding from ads. As such I understand issues are still a thing. In my experience I have had issues with stories not loading even on a really good internet connection. But the app still functions well. Currently, I have an issue with the app which may be linked to the addition of the audio reading feature. I believe this feature inadvertently made is so music can’t be played in the background from another app. All in all, I greatly respect the developers for what they’ve done so far and for their continued work for the community. The drastic changes to the interface does feel weird at the moment but it is just for experimentation..Version: 12.0.2
✓ Great App Overall, but…I very much enjoy this app, due to the HUGE library of titles, across a variety of genres. I love that there’s a setting so the app can also be used like an audiobook; I use this feature frequently! I especially like that I can download stories to read later, offline. It’s also cool to be able to converse with authors & other users. The two complaints I do have (and why I’m only giving this app 4 stars): 1) I don’t know if there’s a way to purge downloaded stories or not, but if there is, I can’t figure out how to do it! If there’s not, I would suggest to developers that they create such a feature, as I don’t care for the clutter created in my downloaded box by stories I’ve already read. 2) When in audiobook mode, if I have to break in the middle of a chapter, the app always starts back at the beginning of the chapter, rather than picking up where I left off. It is very annoying to have to manually scroll down and find where I left off, as the voice continues reading from the start, until I can find the correct paragraph and select it to get it to jump back to reading where it left off before. I would suggest developers correct this issue as well..Version: 58.1

✓ Good startI understand this app is new and that the creators are still working the interface out which is why you got 4 stars. However, it needs to be more author friendly. There needs to be a way to reply to reviews within the app. There also needs to be a way to completely access your account in terms of favourite stories etc. It would also be good if we could change the cover picture of our stories within the app, especially for those of us who only have access to the site/app on mobile devices. ✓ Great app overallSmooth navigation, the text-to-speech bot works even when the app is in the background or the phone is asleep. Generally, this is a better app than FanFiction+ thanks to the lack of ads, no need for verification every time you open a story, and the more reliable text-to-speech bot. The only actual issue I have is that the “Dark Mode” only darkens the menus, while the actual stories remain bright white. Fixing that would make this the perfect fanfiction app..Version: 58.0

My only problem with it is when I swipe to read the next chapter but it won’t load but when I swipe again for the next chapter it pops up straightaway. ✓ GlitchesGreat app, much easier layout than the online version but for months now there has been an issue with the formatting on a random bunch of stories and it still hasn't been fixed even after multiple upgrades. It would also be good if you could edit the order your download folders were in as opposed to having them automatically add one after the other or adding sub folders, its very annoying having to remember if the folder you're looking for it at the top or bottom of the list especially if you have a lot to scroll through.Version: 37.0

✓ A Bit of QoS Needed but greatFor reference I tend to use the app to take my current reading list offline as I travel a lot and don’t always have internet To begin with I find very few things annoying... However trying to read offline and having the “ please reconnect to WiFi / internet” constantly popping up is really Distracting and takes away from the reading experience. Please either limit this to Preferably app Startup or give us a way to dictate when such messages should popup. (Eg “ Quiet Mode”) Finally we need a way to export our current app Library to use on PC instead of having to use share “story” for each and every downloaded fanfic..Version: 13.8.2

In addition, the app now crashes far more frequently than it used to (prior to v12). Can this be fixed? ✓ Awesome! Better than in the browserThe last time I reviewed this app (I think it was this one?) I said something about how you couldn’t read offline or sort stuff and well, there has been quite a few updates since then lol. This is my go-to app for reading. I don’t even know what half of these fandoms are I just like reading. Anyway, one issue I have discovered (and it took me quite a while to realise because I’m lonely) is that private messages won’t appear. Completely blank. I went on the desktop version once and I had like 3 messages (which is a lot for me) and they’d been sitting there for months and I hadn’t realised. Other than that, love the app and I look forward to seeing what gets updated next. Both in the app and the stories I’ve started following... All 200 of them..... hehh........ ✓ CommunitiesThe app is great, but I can’t search for communities and have to first search them on google and then try to find the fic on the app. If you fixed this everything would be perfect and I’d rate it five stars. ✓ Great app but a couple issues.The app is great, however it’s interaction with other apps like safari has suddenly stopped after the last update. I can no longer open a fanfic in safari and use a link to open it in app in order for me to follow or favourite either the story or the artist. It’s hard to tell if I’ve read it or not. I see the green bar across the icon or chapter listing but it’s not always accurate and not abundantly obvious. ✓ Great, but I still have some complaints.Overall it’s a great app. A little difficult to navigate at first, but you do get used to it. One complaint I do have is the editing feature for stories. Is there anyway you can make the screen match the width on the site? That way I know how to what exactly I’m releasing. I don’t want to make things too short or too clunky. I’ve noticed the letters in editing have been enlarged and take up more space than needed. It was perfect before, but now it’s so jarring when I edit on the document manager and have it look different on the site. It would be a ginormous help to know what my story would look like on the website. It’s looks so wonky now that I would greatly appreciate if you fixed this issue..Version: 58.1
✓ Broken Search engineThe new search engine has been broken from what was a perfect system already it doesn’t seperate crossovers when the crossover option isn’t pressed. The search engine has also made all night mode options on my phone. if possible in the future could you please add an option to make it darker so that it doesn’t kill me trying to find what I’m after Other than that please keep up the good work while this maybe a pain to me others may prefer the new UI. ✓ Very good but...The application is great, however there is a big annoyance: When reading, the tap to toggle full screen function can get quite annoying. It'd be great if you could add a button in the settings that allows you to turn it off, or perhaps settings which allow you to choose a part of the screen to tap on to toggle the full screen; or a setting which changes the toggle into a button in a corner of the screen. As it right now it can be hard to get immersed in a story with the application because an accidental brush can toggle off or on the fullscreen reading mode again..Version: 4.5

✓ Keeps getting betterNew update is great! Smoother scrolling and it doesn't randomly switch from full screen to no full screen when scrolling. One thing i realised is that i can highlight and select a word(s) especially when i want to look up definitions. Am wondering if that's done on purpose or if it's a bug.
