What is Google Pay: Save and Pay? Description of Google Pay: Save and Pay 2158 chars

Important update:
The U.S. version of the standalone Google Pay app will no longer be available for use starting June 4, 2024.

Here are the key changes and important dates:
- As of Feb 22, 2024 you will no longer be able to view or activate deals in the app. If you previously activated a deal, and are still waiting for cash back, regular reward timelines apply.
- Changes to peer-to-peer payments: As of June 4, 2024, you will no longer be able to send, request or receive money from others through the U.S. version of the Google Pay app.
- Manage your Google Pay balance from the Google Pay app until June 4: You can use the U.S. version of the Google Pay app until June 4, 2024 to view and transfer your Google Pay balance to your bank account. You can continue to view and transfer your funds to your bank account after June 4, 2024 from the Google Pay website at pay.google.com.

If you have linked accounts on Google Pay to monitor your transactions and insights, you’ll still be able to view your transactions on the Google Pay website in the transactions tab after June 4, 2024. If you wish to disconnect your accounts after June 4, 2024, you will be able to unlink them on the Google Pay website.

If you've used the Google Pay app in the US to send money with Wise from the US to India or Singapore, this feature and related transaction information will no longer be available in the app starting June 4, 2024. This does not impact your Wise account, which you can continue to access at wise.com.

Google Payment Corporation's Customer Service and Error Resolution Policy and applicable processes still apply to report unauthorized transactions related to Google Pay.

✗ Instant Transfer Processing for Ten Days and No HelpCan I please have my money?? I did an instant transfer ten days ago and the money still says “processing”. I filed an issue the first day and was told GooglePay experienced a technical error and my money would be transferred in 24 to 48 hours. Since then I have to beg for email updates and live chats with employees. The “updates” state that I will be updated again soon. When I ask what the technical issue is and how many more days or weeks my money will say processing, I’m told my issue was “escalated” the first day. I’m told my money will be transferred “soon”. Nobody will help me beyond promising updates that only include a promise for another update. There is NO problem on my part. It was an issue with GooglePay. GooglePay has refused to even hint at a timeline for allowing me to have MY money back. Is this really how GooglePay operates? They have technical errors they can not fix and refuse to communicate? ✗ New version a flopUsed and loved Google pay for a long time. Used to be able to receive payments that were automatically deposited to my PNC bank account. Now Google pay can no longer connect directly to my bank account, and deposit has to go through my debit card for which I am charged a fee. Tried contacting Google support, and their response was basically that It wasn’t their fault the Plaid platform they just started using isn’t accepted by PNC, and told me to contact PNC to try get them to change their policy.... So I guess I’m now supposed to get one of the largest banks in the country to change their security policy? (I think the issue between PNC and plaid has been going on for a few years now, and is a result of Plaid and similar companies trying to circumvent PNC data security protocols, so I don’t really expect this to be solved any time soon, but you should definitely fact check me on that) May be good for other people, but Google pay no longer is capable of doing what I need it for, so I don’t plan on using it anymore..Dbloomberg2468Version: 127.0
