✓ Extremely P2W and waste of timeI played this game for a week straight. The reason for this was because it is somewhat fun and I was determined to make 1st rank on the lowest league. On my way towards and after achieving my goal, it was sad to see just how pay2win it becomes. There’s like 9 leagues so I can’t even imagine any leagues further. There’s different level of characters, common, rare, and legendary. You can only get these characters by opening card packs and getting enough cards to combine into one. The legendary characters have insane stats compared to common. Matchmaking is a joke. With my low rank common character, I was facing legendary characters two-three leagues above my own. In addition to characters, there’s also energy (needed to play with a character), tickets (needed to play rank), and powers! That’s right, you also have to buy powers. These powers are completely broke as well. One of these completely freezes you and can be upgrades to last several seconds. I will now delete this game because it’s obvious how scummy this system of P2W truly is after the hours I put into it..Weeks0808Version: 1.40

Then you have to watch videos to get more, but they stop giving you the ability to get them by video. So you either have to pay real money to play, or wait eleven hours to play the game again. This would’ve be such a MAJOR PROBLEM with the game if that’s all you had to do to play. However, you have to own character cards that take energy. So maybe you don’t run out of tickets, but your character has no energy. You can watch advertisements to get it back, but like the tickets it runs out. Leaving you waiting just to be able to play the game again. I understand the energy thing because there is a lot of characters to chose from, some having better stats. However, what DOESNT make sense is why both of these exist in the same game. This game would be PERFECT if the ticket system didn’t exist anymore. ✓ Fun gameI play this to pass up some time. It’s fun to play but the ads are very annoying. Especially when you get a rematch request but can’t accept it because of a 30 second ad. There should be a better way to implement the ad so it doesn’t interfere with game play. Also if you have an iPhone without the home button the buttons on the game interfere with the swipe gesture and can be very annoying. You have to be careful not to drag your fingers around when playing. The game is geared toward pay to play players. You’ll go against people with all sorts of gear as a beginner. I enjoyed it very much, however it came to a point where I was playing so well, going on long streaks , scoring many goals and receiving little reward! ✓ Annoying.This game is fun to play I suppose but if you lose a game, you lose 100 fans and 2 points. I don’t think it’s worth it when you only get 140 fans and 3 points when you win. Once you get a new character you should be able to warm up a little to understand how different they are. You start off on the same level as everybody and the results are determined by your skill vs another player skill. During this initial period I won my first two Championships. Since then I have found a game to be frustrating as people are paying with money to buy the best characters and upgrades. I am content to watch ads but I would prefer not to invest a lot of money into the game. It is incredibly frustrating when your basic level character with for example 15 jumping ability is up against a paid for character with 40 jumping ability; this makes it extremely unfair and difficult to consistently win matches. ✓ The first title of this series was a lot better.The first title of this series allowed players to progress through pure demonstration of skill, where you had defeat opponents on a fair level playing field. However, this game created a system where the game has become pay to win; ruining the legacy of the first one where it gave of a sense of play to win. Coming from the first game, and being one of the best at it, I found its near impossible to win against players who have clearly spent at least £100 to get legendary characters and accessories, all in which increase the “goodness” of the character you play with. On the other hand, the matchmakers do make a good effort to pair you up with players around your power level but with different physical attributes, making you continuously think of ways to counter your opponent and making each game a different struggle. I definitely do appreciate the risk they took with this title, introducing new features to the game such as team challenges, where the first title was more safer and simple but did definitely help establish this game series. When you play a game and there’s a connection issue the scoreboard will display which player it is that has the bad connection which is how I know it isn’t me because it’s always my opponents who are shown to have the connection issue. I would say on average, if I play 5 games, 3 of them will have connection issues that results in some serious lag, but if your opponent has the bad connection it’s you that actually suffers. It will completely stop you from being able to touch the ball in any capacity. You’ll go to kick it and it goes right through, you’ll go to block and the ball will go right through you. This results in your opponent scoring goal after goal until the connection finally stabilizes, but by that time you’ll be so far behind you can’t win. Since the game is based on energy being used to play matches this issue completely wastes and decimates your supply of energy and if you try to leave a game because of the connection issues your penalized by losing fans (which is how you earn gold, player packs, new stadiums, etc). On top of that, pretty consistently the game just shuts down while you’re in the middle of matches or loading a match.
