Won’t let me verify my numberI got a new number a few months ago, and it turns out someone (who used to have my number) used snackpass. The app won’t let me verify my own number. I’ve contacted their customer support but they keep repeating that they can’t make changes to this other persons account (although I have never specifically asked them to do anything to that persons account; I just asked to let me enter in my own number). Great way to systematically lose potential customers over lazy existing customers who couldn’t bother to update their account info..Version: 3.3

New App that Needs Some HelpThis is a great app in theory and I won’t deny that free or discounted food is definitely a plus; the problem is getting that free or discounted food with an app that only partially works. Some minuses: - I’ll get a notification for a discount or deal but when I go to the app it’s not there (may appear days later) - The location of the store is not in the order when you are confirming and placing it— I ordered from the wrong location and had to call and cancel my order. Then I had to contact customer service to get my money back. - It will advertise discounts like 40% off your order but only apply the discount to PART of your order (& partial application was not part of the advertised deal) - If I add the deal to my cart, decide not to use the deal but go back minutes later it won’t apply the deal to my order (even though I never used the deal/discount and it didn’t expire) - I’ve chatted with customer service (which takes about 1/2 hour to and hour to respond) about all of the above issues with no resolution. They are friendly and try to be helpful but they point to solutions that don’t work... they really just need to fix the app..Version: 3.5

Worst app ever! Not recommend to anyone!I purchased from my favorite store like 50+ times already, last time I added a new payment card to pay for my tramsaction, right after they banned my account due to "a suspected violation of our terms & conditions. If you feel you should be unbanned, please write in to let us know why, and we will review your account!" Are you kidding me ??! What kind of app does stupid thing like this ? Not only they wrongly ban your account but they ask you to explain why you should not be banned ??.Version: 5.29.0

Hard to give critiqueI love the app. Easy to order. May have to wait because of the volume of orders esp during peak hours My only issue is that you can only give a favorable rating or say there are no issues. When you try to comment on the app will be frozen until you change it to “never mind”.Version: 2.6

Ok ap but needs upgradesOk around town, but here are two serious limitations: 1. At a busy restaurant, you are not told how long the wait is until AFTER you commit to the order. I’ve had some waits of 40 minutes, when all I wanted was a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich. 2. If you are outside a certain distance from a restaurant, you can’t order. I work 20 miles from home, but I can’t order from a restaurant near my house just before I leave the office. So much for picking up dinner in the way home. But I’ve learned that a phone call still works!.Version: 3.5

Good start... Could use some improvementOK app. Needs several areas of improvement 1. Show restaurants wether open or not. We could be looking for later, tomorrow, etc. 2. Don't require app to need location or notifications. Instead allow me to set my location - i live in the same location day to day 2. Location privacyIn case anyone cares about sharing their location, if SnackPass does not have your location, you will receive a “Store out of range” warning. Well, not a warning, you cannot order unless you give them your location. Even if you have ordered fifty times before, they need to know where you are. You can be walking toward the restaurant and fifty yards away, SnackPass needs to know where you are. They could just give you a friendly reminder that you may be out of range (or not, they don’t know). No, you are given the “Sorry Charlie” message, go elsewhere. Funny, because they advised me to use the web link as it does not have the geofence..Version: 5.8.0

UnusableThe initial registration process and overall menu navigation were very smooth, but as soon as we went to checkout for a bubble tea place the entire thing fell apart - buttons wouldn’t respond, entering verification codes would at first receive no response from the prompt, then suddenly pass moments later, cancelling a card entry would cause the entire menu to become unresponsive. Tried to order more than a half dozen times across two phones, every attempt failed at a different step. I have no ill will against the app and I earnestly wanted to use it, but it just wasn’t functional..Version: 4.1

Does not give full creditEvery time I eat at a restaurant, the restaurant tells me I earned 6 points, but snack pass only gives 1 point per visit. Customer service said I’m supposed to 1 point but I doubt they looked at this thoroughly, because that makes any reward for using this app far out of reach, as it’s based on number of visits and not what you spend. So 10 visits to my favorite restaurant gets me a free fountain drink. 50 visits are needed to get an entree. Usually you get an entree out of 10 visits somewhere. $500 spent gets you a $7 meal. Not worth using this app..Version: 5.24.0

Time estimates always wrongThe time estimate in the app shows one thing before you order but immediately doubles as soon as the order is submitted. I went back after an order was placed and the lower estimate still shows. This happens consistently and is immediate, so it’s not that the restaurant is manually changing it after. Why are you advertising 7 minutes for pickup and then 15 as soon as I hit submit? These should be the same so I know the correct information before placing the order. The restaurant I am going to uses Snackpass for almost all orders (including on the in-store touchscreen), so the app clearly has the information to provide an accurate estimate but for some reason does not..Version: 5.17.0

Very hard to cancel orderPlease make sure your order is correct before placing it. Or you have to call the stores to cancel and probably won’t get refund. Also this app often recommend stores far away even when there is one of the same nearby. Please check the location carefully..Version: 5.23.0

Snackpass is great, but the app could be simplerSnackpass seems to do a good job in supporting local business and making it easy for people to order food. The app itself, however, has amassed a ton of feature bloat recently. All the random 3D chicken / accessories that popped up in the app this year make it seem like some cheap game and drive it away from its purposes..Version: 5.11.2

Good startBut 1. Wish you can view menu after the restaurant closing. 2 not every items eligible for rewards. 3 wish they had more places in my college area to participate, but I will contact them on matter if I can promote they app to restaurants. I might update ratings after using it if I won’t have any issues. The thing I wish the most they would put into app that if restaurant wants they could sell unused or food to be thrown away at the end of the day that other customers did not picked up for discount like Food for All app does it. Too hard to get aroundI like using this app to order milk teas and such, but I have to say the interface is NOT user friendly.. no quick access to the important info such as my orders, points and coupons. You have to get through all different tabs to find them! Plus, the gift giving process is hard to work with, I shared the link with my friend and he downloaded it, and we still cannot unlock the gifts or points...Version: 5.29.0

Cool idea, really glitchy and slow at timesThis app is a cool idea it has some social aspects to ordering from various different local restaurants. You can qualify for discounts when you order with friends. However the app seems to randomly lose the location permission setting. Also sometimes when selecting from the list of restaurants it gets really slow and takes 20 to 30 seconds to even select a restaurant after you tap it. These things can make it a very frustrating experience for what should be a very straightforward and simple process to order a coffee or a sandwich from my local restaurant..Version: 5.37.0

No filter by distanceThis is the most harebrained update I’ve ever seen! Prior to this update, results were filtered by distance, making it very convenient to order from stores within walking distance. This change hurts businesses and customers! Customers now have to REMEMBER what stores they like so they can search it up, and businesses lose out on people who are looking for convenient places to eat! What a terrible design choice! Please make ways to filter the list of restaurants so that using this app isn’t such a painful experience.Version: 5.17.0

If I could give zero stars I wouldHorrible customer service. The app sent my order to a store over an hour away even though my location is set and I had just placed an order with another store in my area. When I was in the store close to me and realized my order wasn’t being prepared I was instructed by the app to call the store an hour a way to deal with it myself. The store told me to contact the app. There is no number to call so I was left to text back an forth with someone who gave me info on something completely unrelated to my issue and did not help me at all. I’m did not receive my order and I did not receive a refund. So using this app just cost me money. WILL NEVER BE USING AGAIN..Version: 5.11.1

Convenient but glitchyI’ve used it for almost a year now and had no problem ordering food and when it applies, gifting friends my points used to be easy but suddenly I can’t anymore. Every time the option to gift points appear, the app no longer filters to my friends but instead just random people who have the app and even when I do my contacts it doesn’t filter nor show people I’ve previously sent points to. All in all it’s very annoying. It used to be fine so idk what happened..Version: 6.1.0

Would not help with a refund on a simple mistakeI had to use this app to order from this milk tea place since their register was down due to no Wi-Fi, when using this app I did not know there where multiple locations so ended up ordering from the wrong location. Since I already ordered and waited more than 25 minutes I was told I could not get a refund and the location couldn’t help since it was thru this 3rd party app, instead of them just issuing me a refund so I could replace the order at the correct location they denied my refund instead offering a $5 credit on a $19 purchase, really? Don’t download not worth it in my opinion.Version: 5.31.0

Bad customer service + refuse to refundPoor customer service and unapologetic staff. I’ve had so many issues with Snackpass/how when I order off of Snackpass vs. place an order in store, the Snackpass order is incorrect and missing ingredients. This could be the stores fault or Snackpass, but I’ve seen this trend too many times. Additionally, many of the wait times are inaccurate (pickup in 15 minutes, turned out to be 50 so waiting in the cold for 30+ minutes) and their double charging issue is completely unacceptable. I had placed a large order on snackpass and the app started not responding, so naturally after waiting 5 minutes I restarted it. However, unbeknowst to me snackpass charged me twice, didn’t send a notification, and doubled my order to the store (totalling around $50). When I arrived, they told me I had two orders of the same items and to take it, and I sent Snackpass a message about their bug. In turn, they said it was my fault for having bad internet connection (GREAT customer service) and they would give me $5 credit. Wow! How generous. When people working for a growing app such as Snackpass respond to ur concerns about their bugs by insulting your financial position/wifi connectivity, huge huge red flag. Needs work on decent customer service and fixing bugs. 👍🏻.Version: 5.0

This App should be called SneakyPassIThe app will add tip automatically until you uncheck it, the section is all the way on the bottom and easy to miss. It has a reward system which requires you to share all of your contact info in order to get the reward. I do not support this kind of business ethic. Will remove it from my phone. Bad customer service and will not refund on missing deliveriesSnackpass has awful customer service the inherently inhuman robot system they have set up is slow and if it is a real person on the other end, they can be very rude. I ordered food for delivery and I put in the instructions to call when they arrive. Instead when the driver arrived here, they did not even try to text/call me and when I went downstairs to pick it up, my order was gone. I contacted Snackpass customer service and they said they tried to ask the delivery courier for a refund but it was denied and therefore they cannot provide any refund for me. I find this extremely frustrating and weird as to why they would offer delivery service at all on their app if they cannot guarantee delivery or provide aid when they don’t deliver. The delivery set up is even weirder as it uses a second party service to deliver and when you order for delivery through their app it provides you with a link to track it that only updates semi frequently. Half the time the page wasn’t updated and didn’t show where my driver was in real time. I even contacted them again to see if they could reach out again for a refund since I placed it through their app and asked why they couldn’t refund it and they instead ignored my message..Version: 5.36.0

Bad customer service experienceWhen the app worked, it was convenient and handy. Now I’m having trouble to log in from whichever way that’s offered in the app. Tried to reinstall, restart the phone, reset the password of my email log in. None of the above worked. Tried to get help from customer service. Someone responded and then no more responses. Problem still unresolved. 🙃.Version: 5.21.0

Bad app and customer serviceI have been trying to change my email on the app for literally years. For some reason the service does not allow you to do so even though every other website ever invented does. They recently added an option on the app to change email. When I tried to do that it didn’t work. I contacted customer service and they said changing email was not a feature they supported. Worst company.Version: 5.21.0

NO Customer Support AvailableI have been an avid Snackpass user in the past, but am EXTREMELY disappointed with the lack of customer support I have received. After placing an order on the app last week, I was banned from the app for no reason and could not open the app on my phone. I have tried contacting the support line through email and Instagram DM, but have not received any replies through email and through Instagram DM I was ghosted after an initial inquiry. My credit card information is still on the app, and I have no means to access my account to remove it for privacy reasons..Version: 4.7

First and last time ordering through this appThis was my first time ordering delivery through this app. The ETA was 32-37 minutes, I believe. After about an hour, the order still wasn’t there. I checked the status of the order and it said “completed”. There is no customer service number, so I had to use the chat in the help center... no response. I called the restaurant and they informed me that the order was literally still sitting on their counter and that there’s nothing they could do from their side. Horrible experience.
