Grateful: A Gratitude Journal for Positive User Reviews

Cannot experience joy without gratitudeIn practice this app has been an accessible way to get my feelings of gratitude down easier than onto paper. I love the added bonus of adding photos to my entries. I definitely feel the difference in everyday life and some of the challenges that come with. As I am in a state of gratitude I’m reminded daily of the smallest things that I appreciate and value. It’s a great addition to my spiritual growth. I recommend to ALL🙏🏼🌙.Version: 1.6.10

Fabulous ToolThis is a fabulous tool. It’s been much rewarding.Version: 1.4

BestSoooo happy I found this app. Life changing.Version: 1.1

ThanksNew update! I’m grateful now😘 will try it By the way, I’m expecting automatic sync via iCloud, so that I can use both iPad and I phone at the same time without manually sync every time.Version: 1.3

Gratitude is attitudeMajority of people who have unique selves may view this comment differently but I believe I was narrow-minded for some time and everything was about me. Once Covid hit, things changed and for myself. I step back take in the larger picture and see the view. Everyone is fighting a battle I know nothing about even in our past lives. So, I now appreciate gratitude as my friend.Version: 1.6.14

Grateful for gratefulThe most beautiful app that everyone needs in their life to take a moment to reflect, appreciate and smile. Thanks for creating it and giving me a private moment each day because of it. Highly recommend. I’m forever grateful for grateful!.Version: 1.3.1

Simple yet effectiveNo gimmicks, just a simple and effective way of helping you appreciate what you have in life..Version: 1.1

Life is looking up!It’s proven being grateful makes you more resilient. I have always been a worrier worst scenario negative outlook person. This along with some positive psychology and mindfulness has made such a difference. You start with simple things but in time you will feel it as it happens in the small moment. It’s easy to use you can even add photos and videos. Can’t say enough!!.Version: 1.2.1

Not working!I used and loved this for years, faithfully backed up my data to iCloud. It no longer will open on my phone. I deleted and restored my purchase. Attempted to restore my previous entries from iCloud. Restore says it’s successful, but app still will not load, and contact/support buttons take me nowhere. Don’t want to lose my previous entries! I loved it while it was working..Version: 1.6.7

Great to look back at !I downloaded the app and started using it. It was great ! Although as time passed I did forget about it and stopped using it. Today I opened the app and read all the cool things I did with my friends and things my boyfriend has done. Things I have completely forgot. That just lit up my heart. I am great full for these memories. The best part is that you can attach a picture. So I have like a window to a memory I cherish. 10/10.Version: 1.4

Wonderful if photos get fixedI would love to love this app and to buy the full version, but I’m unhappy with the way it distorts photos after upload. It only shows a part of the photo in the feed or it distorts the quality (even though I set it to high res images). It would be great if it could keep the whole original photo without changing the quality. Otherwise I love the app design..Version: 1.1

I love this appI do love this app. Definitely worth the one time $. I gave it a 5 star rating because it gave me what I was looking for, an electronic gratitude journal that I could easily use on the go. I love being able to modify the prompts and personalize them. I love being able to add pictures to enhance the entries. Couple of things I’d like to see the developers work on. I wish it had the ability to show the full picture, rather than having to crop the picture to meet the size parameters. Also, while I use the app mostly on my iPhone, I do occasionally use on my iPad. I wish that the developers would make the app responsive for those of us who use a keyboard with our iPad. (It won’t display landscape, or I haven’t found out how to make it do so.) So even though I have a couple of suggested things to improve, it still warrants a 5. Love it!.Version: 1.1

Make it work for apple pencil, PLEASE.I like this app because it’s straightforward. However, I want my journalling to be more realistic by writing with an apple pencil, so, I hope you can customize it on your next update. Thank you im advanced!.Version: 1.6.8

Helped me see the good in everyday!I got this app just after my son turned a year old. I was struggling with strong feelings of sadness - that I wasn’t good enough of a mother for my child. I was always focusing my thoughts on the 1 negative thing that happened each day (what I did wrong) rather than the 100 good things that happened. This app allowed me to intentionally think of the good things in each day and to appreciate what I have vs. what I don’t. I only wish I had it sooner!.Version: 1.3.1

IOS 14 issue?Hi, love the app, but won’t open in iOS version 14.1. If I delete & reinstall, will I lose my entries?.Version: 1.5.1

Really helpsFeels a bit weird to do at first but if you persevere for a week or so it will genuinely start to change your perspective on life. I recommend upgrading to the paid version..Version: 1.3

Grateful for small thingsA simple app that makes keeping a Gratitude journal easy. I set an alert for every evening to remind me to think of something I’m grateful for. The app asks one of four questions - what grateful for, what looking forward to, what made you smile, what made you laugh - which helps add a bit of variety and stops it getting too serious. You can add photos and tags and you soon build up quite a collection of happy thoughts and memories. A great way to keep your glass half full..Version: 1.4

Best App I have on my phoneOne of the best apps I have downloaded ever.Version: 1.4

Simple, Effective... Perfect!Easy to add entries. The feature set is just right: not too much, not too little. I really like browsing through my grateful entries, with the pictures, especially, when exported in PDF. Very easy too to text an entry to a friend. (Note: I have the paid version).Version: 1.1

Love this app!I have been trying to find an app that isn’t so pushy with monthly subscriptions but still offers fantastic support. I think I found the app! This app lets you write whatever you want and in a beautiful theme. I’m so happy I came across this app and can only hope the creators keep updating! I usually don’t write reviews but seeing this app just made me have to!.Version: 1.2.1

I love this appThis app is such a fun way to practice gratitude. I really enjoy adding photos to my entry’s. 🤗🤗🤗.Version: 1.2.1

Very affirmingFantastic app. The prompts are really good: short but perfectly formed, and encouraging you to reflect on the world you’re moving through and what’s good in it (which is super when you’re feeling down about yourself, and often reveals little things that actually speak against negative self-perception). The journal encourages you to be brief, which really does a good job of making it easy to write something (and sometimes you just keep writing). And the app’s design and interface are really nice, which makes using it a pleasure, and it’s very affirming to look back over your previous entries in the nicely-formatted timeline. Great job devs..Version: 1.3.1

Grateful for gratefulThis app has changed my life. I’ve always struggled with anxiety and feelings of jealously (thanks social media), but the practice of stopping and noticing everything that’s right in my life has totally changed my outlook. I love the daily reminders, even if I don’t add to my journal they inspire me to take a second and think happy thoughts. I also love being able look back over past entires when I’m feeling down. I’ve been using this for more than a year and I hope I’ll continue for the rest of my life. Thank you 💕.Version: 1.6.14

Capture all my pure moments of joy!!Looking back at snaps and what i was grateful for is SO good for my soul!! Thank you!!.Version: 1.6.10

Adore remembering what I’m grateful forI absolutely love this app. I started using it during the pandemic as a daily journal to remember one good thing that happened to me. Then it suddenly wouldn’t open for the longest while as the app kept crashing so I stopped using it. Even then, as I put a widget on my screen, I loved seeing a random past grateful moment to remember. I’ve since opened it back up and am using it again. That said, the widget hasn’t been updated and is still in the old mode. I’m concerned an Apple update is going to wipe it. I’d absolutely adore an update to the widget part so I can see more grateful moments as I use my phone. 💕.Version: 1.7.0

New favorite appI've recommended this app to tons of people! Grateful is an easy way for me to remember all of the amazing things that have happened :-) Counting my blessings (especially the small ones) plays a key role in helping me focus on the positive! Note: You DO have to upgrade to the paid version to continue using the journal. I didn't mind, though, since other free journals didn't work as well for me. Love this app!.Version: 1.1

Enjoying the easeI’m enjoying the app. It’s a simple, straightforward interface that does everything it should. I have come close to exceeding the daily max characters though... not sure why that is necessary to have. I should be able to write as much as I like without having to edit my feelings. I’ll still give you 5 stars because I haven’t had to yet. I also like that I can add in additional prompts, which I did from a 30 days of gratitude infographic I found. It does really help to have a prompt. I’m not sure what to think about the photos. If I were writing in an actual journal, I wouldn’t use them, so it’s hard to complain about them, but the aspect ratio of them is rather strange, and you are limited to one. Again, if you didn’t have photos at all, I wouldn’t care, but you do...so what is there is not great. I still won’t let it affect my rating because I love using this app, and look forward to any improvements you may make. :).Version: 1.4

Review on Grateful the appI love this game because it gives me the chance to reflect on my day at night time and actually think how lucky I am. Although this is a really good app, I really would like to have more things rather than just answering some questions in the journal. It's still a really good app but I would like to have like exercise and mindfulness, things like that in this app..Version: 1.2

A beautiful and inspiring appI often ask my friends and myself at the end of the day: what are you grateful for today. It makes me appreciate each day and keeps track of my daily progress. Grateful makes it easier..Version: 1.0.1

Love itSo useful for my mental health!.Version: 1.7.0

Love, Love, LoveSimplicity at its best! I adore the ease of use, although I would love to have a selection of stock photos to choose from instead of grabbing from Google then adding when I don’t need a personalized photo. Love that I can customize prompts and go back to add an entry. I usually journal about the day before rather than the night of. I would highly recommend this app after sampling many other free ones..Version: 1.3

Awesome appAbsolutely love this app. Even when I’m having a bad day, I can look back and remember the good moments from the day. And if I have pictures...I can add them too. Great way to visualize and practice gratitude..Version: 1.3.1

Gutted. App keeps crashing since update.Despite emailing several times I haven’t received a response. Since installing the latest update the app no longer opens meaning I can’t access years worth of memories, which is such a shame 😔 ... I really loved this app. I’m hoping somebody can perform some wizardry to fix it ... please!! 🙏.Version: 1.6.1

HelpfulGreat app to start to change your perspective on things..Version: 1.6.13

Simple user experience and good typographySimple to enter what your grateful for and to change or add entries from yesterday, great colour palette and nice use of typography. Looking forward on taking a look back in events of the past to be grateful for in the coming future..Version: 1.2.1

So easy to use! Captures your moments.I am a mom of 3 teenagers, we all have those moments of time we wish we would have written down in a journal. This app brings the journal with you wherever you are. Add pictures to each entry! Get reminders for you to capture your day. Then export and print. Awesome!! I’d like to be able to add multiple pics to one entry, but overall, 5 stars. Love this app!!.Version: 1.1

Great appWould give this 5 stars if it allowed multiple photos per entry. Otherwise fantastic 😊 highly recommend the paid version..Version: 1.2.1

Missing a calendar view😊 I downloaded the app yesterday and I find its simplicity nice, however was tempted to look into other apps as i saw they have a “track your mood” calendar view that allows you to set your mood with a face and then see how you felt every day (displaying the faces) and then see an overall mood graph for the month/week etc... i thought that was super cool, but then again other apps are too full of stuff its overwhelming. Tried using an emoji here but then i dont have a calendar view to track my mood progress (which btw is pretty encouraging if you manage to uplift it)... seeing more happy faces on a calendar for sure helps! Any chance this could be included? 😃✨ (I also saw a cool “gratitude jar” on some app, which allowed you to see your blessings (what you were grateful for) after clicking on it, but again, it was too complicated, also kind of public and needed to upgrade to a paid version for the nicest things advertised on the app store (not so cool). Maybe you can give this a thought and improve it much more! Thanks tho! Nice app.Version: 1.2.1

Quick, Easy, and EffectiveI’ve tried journaling and keeping track of my mood with apps and on paper, but nothing stuck quite so well or felt near so good as Grateful. Documenting good moments keeps me focused on positives, and I always have time to write a few short sentences. I especially love adding photos—it brings the memory of a good event back as I write the update and again every time I browse through my other entries..Version: 1.2.1

Simple interface and promptsThe simple interface and prompts make it easy to start a habit of recording what I'm grateful for. It's helping me end even the most hectic days with a dose of gratitude. Pretty nice. I've added pictures a couple of times and even that's easy. I decided to upgrade and I don't usually pay for apps. Well worth it. Thanks for helping me get centered each evening and for making it easy to reconnect with what really matters..Version: 1.2.1

Love this appWhat a great app and very useful and entertaining..Version: 1.4

How amazing is grateful to me!🌏🌻🌈☯️I love grateful because you can write things that you’re grateful for like maybe your mum and dad getting a new dog.& well it’s just so amazing and it make me feel so happy and I love grateful It’s the best thing in the world.Version: 1.6.14

Simple and effectiveSo easy to use with a nice clean interface. I like that you can add pictures, and change the question if you want. So worth the buy!.Version: 1.2

Happy AgainI’ve only been using this for about 30 minutes and I already love it. I have a hard time being happy because of all of the mental heath problems I have but this really helped. I was able to be happy and realized that the reason I want to be happy is so that other people around me can enjoy their life too. The best way for you to be happy is to appreciate what you have and this app really allows you to do this..Version: 1.2.1

Simplicity and EaseI downloaded 4/5 gratitude journal apps...this is the one I decided to stick with. It's simplicity has made it easy for me to make entries...hopefully this will be a habit that sticks!.Version: 1.0.1

Easy to use, surprising how much joy it bringsI love this app! It’s super easy to use and the more you use it the more features you’ll find. I started just writing text but found that photos add so much more to my journal/joy. Recently I started tagging my entries which helps me filter/search entries but a side benefit is that it’s an indication of what makes me happy… and then I can focus on doing more of the same. When I’m feeling down I often open the app, scroll through my entries and find myself smiling. I highly recommend this app..Version: 1.6.8

Focus on GratitudeThis is a perfect app for focusing on gratitude. I noticed that when I wasn't using an app specified for that purpose I was more hesitant to to take the time to write my daily entry. The UI is minimal and beautiful which also adds to the experience. My only suggestion would be to include the ability to add tags to each journal and a search ability. Otherwise, this is a flawless app..Version: 1.0.1

Best journal app ever!I absolutely love this app. You can add/edit entries and add/edit photos very easily. I am not real tech savvy, so I mean it is EASY! Best feature is the ability to write any prompt you need to track any area of your life. It is much more than a gratitude journal. I track everything from my moods to pics of cute things that happen during day (such as pet pics)etc. I can look at the memories any time to remember the good things when I am sad, which is often. Very much worth the one time fee to purchase this app. It has made a huge difference in my life..Version: 1.1

Simple but effective! And affordableLove the simplicity this app offers. As many people know, consistently expressing gratitude is one of the easiest *scientifically backed* ways to boost your happiness. Before, I had a little mini journal next to my bed I’d try to write in daily. But the problem is it’s easy to forget, and if I move the book it’s even easier to forget (out of sight, out of mind). The app offers an easy way to consistently log my gratitudes every day! With the available plus custom prompts, the little habits can make a big difference. Also - it’s only $7, one time payment. That’s something everyone should be grateful of ;).Version: 1.4

Grateful for GratefulThis is a brilliant app. It's so easy to use and getting in the habit of using it is no trouble at all. The interface is simple, intuitive and elegant. The ability to include photos in posts is brilliant and I often use this as it brings to life moments that make me smile. I would recommend this to anyone and everyone. The full price of £4 is a little high but for such a beautifully designed app with these features I think it is worth it. Great job guys!.Version: 1.0.1

Simply Love ItSo far I really enjoy using this app. I downloaded about 4 different gratitude journals at once so I could use them all simultaneously to narrow down which one I liked the most and wanted to stick with or invest in the upgraded version. I'm liking this one because it's simple and quick. It's effortless and you have the option to upload photos as well and add additional notes or thoughts or affirmations to the entry. Good job dev....I haven't decided on which app I'm going to use permanently but this is definitely in the running..Version: 1.2

Best app I ever downloaded! This app is the closest thing to happiness. Everyday I’m excited to update my gratitude journal with the best parts of my day. It’s helped me focus on the positives and I love scrolling back to see my own personal happiness feed. The app design is beautifully simple, intuitive and a joy to use. 5/5 ✌️.Version: 1.2.1

Good brain trainerAfter going through a rough few years; this app has helped me look at the brighter side of...everything! Don’t settle for the free one. If you really want to develop positive habits you need to be looking at all the good things around you. Trust me the maximum 15 entries u get with the free software will not be enough once you start recognising all of the good around you. However the free one is also good for trialing and offers a lot more than other gratitude apps..Version: 1.2.1

Perfect app for gratitude writingEasy and calming. Great for busy minds who want to take a second to write down positive moments or thoughts. I highly recommend this app.Version: 1.2.1

Great practiceThis user-friendly app makes it easy to record the gifts and blessings we experience every day, in words as well as photos. The practice of attending to positive gifts builds gratitude and improves mood as well as building more awareness of the good things in our lives. We all have hard times and experience the lows, but returning to a record of things for which we are grateful regulates our emotions and puts it all in perspective!.Version: 1.6.0

Simple and useful appVery nicely done. But for those of us who live on the other side of the earth the day of the week still stays Wednesday when indeed it is Thursday already..Version: 1.3

The perfect app for being more gratefulI was looking for an app to use in conjunction with The Magic by Rhonda Byrne so I could easily fit the daily gratitude processes into my life and this is perfect. I can make my own prompts which fit in with each practice and I can use my mic to speak my entries if I need to save time. This app is brilliant! I love the reminder every morning too as if I am not already smiling, I do when I see the notification! Well done!.Version: 1.2.1

ThanksI grateful for this app. Simple to use and just a great tool to keep expressing gratitude..Version: 1.1

Great appI was looking for an app like this and this one was the winner. Easy to use, you’re able to personalise it a bit and includes reminders!.Version: 1.2.1

Annoying pop up to restore purchaseEverytime I open up the app it asks to retstore my purchase (I have a yearly subscription for the whole Growth bundle). It is very annoying when I want to quickly add something. Otherwise great app. Efficient. Cute. Clear. Simple. The tag function does not work. I wish I could use it. I appreciate a lot how it is easy to add an entry that occurred in the past..Version: 1.5.1

Helpful for keeping on top of a healthy mindThis app is such a good daily reminder to reflect on the beautiful things from your day! When you think you’ve had a bad day, the prompts from this app make you think of something that made the day just a little special. As someone who sometimes struggles with staying positive this app has been an awesome help. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough!.Version: 1.3.1

2 words: frickin amazingGranted, this is my first day using the app, but after doing a substantial amount of clicking around, I found this app is very close to PERFECT for me. For starters, everything I need is free. There’s an option to upgrade (which I haven’t looked into yet), but for what I need, it’s everything. I’m just looking for a simple, electronic gratitude journal that I can write in literally whenever or wherever, and that’s what this is!.Version: 1.3

Love it but wish the notifications would stay visibleI love using this app, especially being able to design my own questions to prompt me each day to focus on what I appreciate. My only bugbear is that when I’m notified to update my log I’m not always able to in that exact moment. If I had a little red circle with a 1 in it, it would remind me later that I haven’t completed it for the day. At the moment you have to be ready at the exact time you have send the reminders or you miss it..Version: 1.1

Wonderful!I really appreciate this app, it is great, especially as I have memory loss 😀 Just wish it synced with my iPhone/iPad! 😃.Version: 1.3.1

Works really well To Help Feel Good NowOne of my favorite features about the app is when it asks you questions which really helps you connect with the feeling of gratitude I can honestly say gratitude and the gratitude app has really help me connect with God & manifest some major blessings in my life such As reconnecting with my son & trips to New Orleans and Florida & significant financial increase 2018 has had a lot of tears of joy for me and I feel gratitude is a big part of that so grateful that the movie the secret really encouraged this concept To me.Version: 1.2.1

A journal that will actually mean something to youI have downloaded many journal apps, only to stare at a blank page and not know what I want to write about. However with this journal, I have been able to create my own questions to prompt me daily. Now each day I know what I want to write about, and I have finally understood why so many people recommend journaling.Version: 1.2.1

My Second DayThis is only my second day using this journal so that’s why I only gave it 4 stars, I’m still learning about it and seeing what I can do with it.. so far I am enjoying it, it’s very simple which I Love and the Prompt questions they give when you first open it is Great!! Sometimes you don’t always know how to get started when you’re new to having a journal, Even though I’m not totally sure about it yet, I paid the $4.00 for the full version I like the free version enough to take chance of paying for the upgrade.. I will update in a couple of weeks, for right now I would say ‘Yes’ try it out for yourself...Version: 1.2.1

Does exactly what I need.A simple app that lets me record my gratitude everyday on my commute. I love that I can completely personalise the prompts and the prompts that I see- also that I can tag and attach pictures to my posts. It does everything that I need it to do!.Version: 1.5.1

Good customer serviceUpdate: I still can’t open the app but emailed the developers and got a friendly and helpful message back quite quickly to say they are aware of the issue and trying hard to figure out how to fix it. So, I’m hopeful I’ll get all my entries back soon and can get back to loving the Grateful app like I have for years..Version: 1.6.5

Quarantine sanity-saver!I started using this app a few weeks in to the COVID-19 situation and am so glad I found it. I have nothing but good things to say about it — it’s incredibly simple and easy to use. I’ve had no trouble keeping up the daily habit and owe credit to the app for helping me find the strength to get through such a challenging time. It’s really helped me take a second to count my blessings and appreciate the little things in life. Such a great find!.Version: 1.4

Not workingI’ve been using Grateful daily and absolutely loving it for several years now! However since the newest update it has completed stopped working!😢 I haven’t been able to use it for weeks and it’s so frustrating! Every time I try to open the app it just crashes... I hope you can make a fix for this soon so I can start my daily writing again!!❤️.Version: 1.6.1

Beautiful gratitude journalVery nice display of all my diary entries and good customisation. It’s crazy looking back as well. Such a good way to keep track of all the nice things in life ❤️.Version: 1.6.10

App stopped working and I can’t open itHelp! Still crashing for over a week. Is anybody trying to fix? Update would be great.Version: 1.6.1

Useful!I don’t often write reviews but I think this has to be one of the best apps I have downloaded on my phone. It promotes such a mindfulness activity and it makes my journaling hobby even more efficient - I don’t have to carry pen and paper on me as having this app makes things so much more accessible. I recommend getting it!.Version: 1.4

Really easy to useCustomisable, easy to use, looks nice. I use it to list ‘good things I’ve done’ today which has helped when feeling bogged down in parenting and like I’m not achieveing anything. Seeing your list of achievements, no matter how mundane, and things that have made you smile makes you feel a bit like a superhero :-).Version: 1.1

I love this little app!!!!I’m using most of the apps in this bundle (Moody, Grateful, Tally, and Last). They are all awesome. I’m not big into journaling, but this has been AWESOME for that purpose. I love that I can attach a photo to each entry. The only update I would recommend is to allow the user to attach pictures to subsequent entries without having to close and reopen the app first. Otherwise, it’s an awesome app and has really helped me be mindful of the abundance that is mine, daily!.Version: 1.6.10

Easy daily gratitudeSimple to use and a clean interface. I love being able to add pictures. Really helps remind me of the moment..Version: 1.1

Like itI bought the upgrade! I would love if I could sort entries by date with most recent opening up first. I also suggest being able to flag certain posts. I like to go back and reflect and a “flag” of some kind would make that easier. I would recommend the app because it is easy to use, however I would like to customize with the paid app!.Version: 1.2.1

Everything I wanted! This is everything I had wanted in a gratitude journaling app. The format is extremely simple, and the design is sleek and beautiful. The entries give you options and variety and you can even customize the prompts yourself. There is also a feature that lets you add additional notes or photos to each submission. The main page displays your reflections with no clutter or nonsense. It's the perfect tool for an individual to privately reflect on and appreciate life..Version: 1.0.1

Worth the moneyThis app is beautifully simple. I went through and read all my entries since the beginning of the year and there were so many little moments that I would’ve forgot otherwise. This app is helping me in changing my mindset which is what I want to focus on this year. Think of all the stuff you buy, this is worth $5 to be a more grateful person. Thanks app makers😁.Version: 1.3

This is a nice app.I like the idea for this app. It’s nice to look back and find the things I have written and be reminded of things that made me happy and grateful. The only thing I would say, is that accessibility for voice-over users like me could be improved. When we double -tap the grateful button nothing happens, so we have to turn off VoiceOver and tap around the screen, hoping to find the grateful button, to start a new entry. If that could be fixed, that would be wonderful. I think the app is great, good job!.Version: 1.6.3

GratefulGreat little app that Helps in reminding you to be grateful for all your blessings. I definitely I'm grateful for this app..Version: 1.0.1

Much betterMuch better now they’ve fixed the crashing bug but I can’t add photos from my photo library. Apart from that I love it, it’s just what I need 😀.Version: 1.6.9

Love this appLove this app, super simple and clean with beautiful, non-distracting colours..Version: 1.2.1

EdgeIt keeps me aware of the things I’m grateful for.Version: 1.1

J’aime!Un journal simple et epuré avec les options essentielles 👍.Version: 1.1

Beautiful appBest way to make a habit of gratitude and keep a daily journal of the good things in your life.Version: 1.2.1
