✓ Great appI really like this app. Would the developers consider a way to enlarge the text and instructions please (a custom size setting for inapp accessibility). I personally find it way too small to read which is hindering my learning. But the app content itself is really very good and I thoroughly recommend it..Annon01Version: 4.33.0

✓ Makes you really think and learnI have been using both this and Mimo to learn Python (and later other languages). Sololearn’s positives vs Mimo: • Sololearn has you actually write full programs from scratch, and mistakes don’t cost you hearts trying them, giving you great room to really grow, whereas Mimo seems to keep things to fill in the blank, mostly with options provided at the bottom. When it comes time to really code it’ll be a hard curve for exclusively Mimo users. • Sololearn teaches more than just webdev. They also have Data Science and Full Stack. Mimo right now wants to focus on webdev, but maybe with time they’ll expand that. • Sololearn has comments section all throughout where pros and newbies can post questions, examples, and answers. Very useful when the lesson didn’t click with you. Might be a better explanation in the comments. • Sololearn’s pro is substantially cheaper. I think “full price” was $134, but it seems it’s always offered at a discount making it $74 with free first month, and if you opt out of the free first month it dropped it down to $54 (this is CAD). Sololearn’s negatives vs Mimo: • Examples are more practical in Mimo so you can see what the code might be used for in today’s tech. • Mimo tends to keep questions and tasks more in line with what you’ve already learned, whereas Sololearn likes to teach a concept then ask a question that uses the next little step of that concept without teaching it, perhaps to get you thinking harder, but also perhaps to cost you hearts more often so you’re more likely to get the Pro version. Overall I plan to continue using both as Mimo is great for first steps then Sololearn takes it to a more intermediate level. I do wish both would integrate the option to go back a page in a lesson in case you want to re-read something before continuing on. Mimo at least let’s you restart a lesson if you back out partway. Sololearn keeps you stuck at where you left off. Not great if you’re a bit stumped and don’t want the comment section answers just yet in case you can figure it out on your own..Kita8Version: 4.27.0
