✓ Highly recommend this app!I had run out of refills of my birth control and needed a new prescription so I decided to give Planned Parenthood Direct a try and am glad I did!. Being on Medicaid, it can be hard to find a doctor to accept it but thankfully Planned Parenthood accepts Medicaid in my state. Some states require a telehealth visit but mine does not. All I did was answered a few questions, filled out my payment info and submitted my request. I had submitted mine around the Holidays so it took them a couple days to get back to me but the provider I had was very professional and prescribed the birth control I requested. I now have a whole years worth of refills thanks to Planned Parenthood Direct and I will continue to use them in the future when I need more refills. Also I did have issues getting the app to work when I was connected to wi-fi. However when I disconnected from wi-fi it ended up loading/working just fine. ✓ Fast, easy, and incredibly helpful!I never write app reviews, but I had such a fantastic experience with the PP Direct app today that I figured leaving a review was the least I could do! I’m moving and therefore currently between doctors, and couldn’t figure out a way to get a birth control refill without having to go through the hassle of doing an intake appointment with a doctor I’ll probably never see again. A friend suggested PP, and when I went to their website, I read about the app. Figured it couldn’t possibly be that easy, but decided to give it a try... and I’m so glad I did! Filled out the questions, snapped a photo of my driver’s license, requested the specific pill I’ve been on for years, and designated the pharmacy down the street from me as my pickup location. Within a few hours I had a notification saying the prescription had been approved and sent to the pharmacy; I was charged a total of $25 (for the doctor to review my case and write the prescription; the pills themselves were free, though I know this varies by state). Way faster, easier, and more convenient than any doctors appointment, and I still felt confident that I was receiving quality medical care - the questionnaire was thorough enough to catch any contraindications for the prescription, and they offered lots of educational materials as well. ✗ Login issuesSince the new update I have tried logging in with an account already had with you guys and I tried creating two new accounts with my boyfriends email and one of the emails that I had just made and every time I try to login it says that my accounts already in use and I cannot use that email or the information is correct I’m not sure why this is happening but I obviously need to get into my account I’m so sad that this happened because this has been a really great app for me so disappointed that this is happening. WORST APP EVER I HAVE BEEN TRYING FOR DAYS TO GET INTO MY ACCOUNT! this is ridiculous the amount of times i’ve tried to login and create new accounts it won’t let me doing anything! ✗ Pill mill that didn’t document my careMy experience was super sketchy as a adult it’s important my chart reflects the care I’ve received. But I was simply another recipient of undocumented medication. I should’ve ran for the hills when they refused to discuss insurance with me. Because they didn’t check my medical history. Everything was off books. It was some lady awkwardly staring at me asking me questions and explaining the bare bones. Then telling me sorry about you if the pharmacy won’t fill it. I felt not only fleeced but sick to my stomach that I basically received back alley treatment. Respect yourself ladies and gents and nonbinary pals. Don’t go to Planned Parenthood if you have an emergency. It won’t show up that you have BC or on meds that they give you. Same with if you have had a procedure done..Leave2dieVersion: 2.355
