✓ Cant get thingsCant expand or get things you need even after 90 days in to move forward I’ve played hard and hardly moved. I’ve read a lot of reviews and nothing has really changed if you don’t put cash in you don’t get far. I’ve tried for weeks just too fill contacts too try too get boards to expand it’s impossible and the tropical island gone? And now candy island again if can’t get the rewards for playing hard you have too buy them with real money I mean I understand that you have too try make money but when someone plays hard for weeks and weeks just trying too get a few items to move forward it should be rewarded better with the things they need I played 30 days too get boards and one can of fuel. ✓ Not a Fan AnymoreUse to like this game, but there customer support is lacking. During an update 2 months ago, I was charged a fee and thought this was some update issue and contacted the App Store. They refunded me, but now two months later the game banned me requesting payment and said I had used what was sent to me, which I didn’t know anything had been sent and since I can’t get in the game to verify, I’m not sure what is what. They are wanting me to fully believe them, but they don’t want to believe anything I’m saying or to even check out what I submitted to the App Store when it happened. Instead they want to just say that I’m not telling the truth. I’ve been playing this game for around 3 years before this. I have heard say things about them when it come to payments and issue. ✓ Money HungryI started playing this game in October after my mom suggested I join her. I’ve made friends from around the world that I truly enjoy working with during co-op tournament. They are my friends outside of the game now, and I look forward to remaining friends for a long time, but not on this application. As of the May 13th update, everything requires honey, which requires mallets, which requires real money from outside the game. After level 67, there is no way to advance without spending a considerable amount of money on the game. What once was a wonderful app has turned into money-hungry developers who will not listen to their player base. I am looking for a new game to play, as are the other members of my team. ✓ ManifoldTaking away the main coop tournament was a poor move. I appreciate low level players can’t help much but we all had to start from the beginning so it’s highly unfair to remove it. Also a feature to reward or promote coop members (but not to the deputy level) would be very beneficial to leaders who want to recognise the hard work their coop members put in. ✓ Not as much funI used to love this game, but over the last few months there have been changes that make it impossible to advance or complete projects without spending money. To grow your farm, you would have to spend money weekly to buy coins or pay for upgrades. With each level, the item you need to sell things at market cost so much to produce that you can’t ever save enough to buy the “new” items or to expand your farm without (once again) buying coins. ✓ Contracts are bottle necking.I don’t hardly bother playing anymore and probably won’t entirely soon enough. I’m always short on fertilizer because for months I have MILK & DUCK FEATHERS always full. The milk & duck feather contracts are so weak. Milk contracts are usually paired with the new beehive products that are such a pain. To sell 100+ milk I have to commit to a weeks worth of beehive products. I feel your business model is reflective of a decade old practice of slowing the game to a standstill and offering real money items to make it speed up or more fun. The current trend is to give players what they like for a faster pace making it competitive incentivizing players to purchase real money items to gain an edge in competition. For this reason alone I’ve spent money on these game types and never the slow paced clash of clans style, like yours. It’s like giving a turtle caffeine, not exciting..Version: 4.20

✓ Unauthorized Glitch ChargesI had played the game for well over a year. Had spent a fair amount of real money. Bought a blue season pass and got double charged. This should not have been possible. Once you buy a season pass the option to buy it is no longer there or should not be anyway. I immediately contacted Apple Pay and stopped one of the two charges not both. Goodgame studios banned my account for this. It was a glitch of their own system that caused me to pay $20 for some thing that was only 10. Now they want their other $10 back and they have banned in my account. They tell me I need to pre-pay the $9.99 to get my account back. I would suggest not spending real money as these glitch charges seem to be a regular event. They push and push or things that need real money to level up with. ✓ Keeps glitching, had to force restart phoneThe game itself is not very week structured - after every level it bombards you with tons of quests, and only being allowed to construct/upgrade one thing at a time is really frustrating. the app hitches every time i use it and returns me to the home screen, however what’s worse is when responding to a pop up notif, it glitches so badly you can’t return to home screen or access any other apps, and i couldn’t even power off my phone normally - i had to force restart it. have just uninstalled as i am worried what keeping it on might do to my other software.Version: 8.2.21852

There have always been connection problems that were never resolved, but I ignored them because I was having fun. Now all that is happening is new buildings are being introduced that have nothing to do with farming and if you want to keep up, you have to buy gold with real cash. There used to be good gold deals, but I haven’t seen one in over three months. I will not be playing the next tournament. I will no longer watch the ads and I definitely will no longer buy gold. ✓ Glitches, & now new update is NOT availableThis game glitches heaps throughout play, flying across screen when trying to collect items. Being locked out of chat because each time you click to enter, some sort of server internet issue occurs telling you to constantly “retry”, not all project points are added to co-op points despite completing projects well in advance of timer. Randomly missing items from inventory that you work hard to accumulate. Tasks you start before shutting off game for the night (eg growing wheat on fields because it takes longest to grow) then when you come back online next day & there’s no wheat or anything else on fields. Despite all this... the worst is being locked out of the game, for even longer than we are told. Because there’s a new update. Go to App Store, no such update exists. ✓ Great up to a point !When I first started playing the game was really fun, but then you get to the point where you have a bit of land some decorations and your earning some money, but then you try to buy some land but no you can’t because you don’t have enough land, you want to grow crops or make something to sell, but no you need gold. ✓ Well it WAS goodBig Farm is a really cute, slow-paced game, and that’s what I was looking for when I first started playing. It’s enjoyable up until level 60+ when you start needing a ton of in-game currency and resources to progress. The game gets monotonous as you work to build up those resources (read: it takes months); even though their are lots of opportunities to win resources, they don’t provide a meaningful amount to accumulate quickly. There are also multiple upgrades that require the same resources, but the opportunities to acquire the resources don’t increase, nor do the rewards increase. Basically, the game became work. They have also recently added more ads to the game and it’s no longer fun to play. I can’t hardly do anything in the game without having to sit through an ad. ✓ Only download if you like spending money!I have been playing this game for a couple of years and up to last week loved it. Both individual and team elements mean you can play as competitively as you choose without pressure. Lots of different features to the fame which keeps interest HOWEVER last week the latest update arrived and is clearly designed to better the interests of players willing to spend money on gold in order to purchase improvements and hasten progress on the game. For those who are not willing to spend money the game has now become frustrating and boring. The only thing that is still keeping me playing is my fellow co-op players. ✓ Very underwhelmingThis game is hardly different than most farming games out there. The storage system is much appreciated though. Upgrade times can be extremely long, causing all production to stop while they’re upgrading. Even very early game upgrades (within first few days of play) can be 12+ hours. I love the game being part of a coop and the team work when the challenges are on. However if these constant problem continue I may have to go play else where. ✓ Too many ads!!!!Nice game, but too many ads. I would have given 4 or 5 stars a year ago when there were fewer ads, but not now. Not only are there TOOO MANY ads but you have to click on one every other move just to progress in the game. 25% of the ads are VERY LOUD with no volume controls and the other 75% you have to click through 5 - 7 times just to get back to the game. Then if that hasn’t frustrated you enough, those same ads are 1 - 2 minutes long. If I wanted to “download” an app from an ad I would go to the app store myself. I don’t need your assistance to “click” a button (god knows I’m already doing that a few “thousand” times a day as it is). So 1/2 of my time spent in this game is shuffling through ads. My first issue: I made a purchase didn’t receive item so got a refund from apple, I was banned and told I had to repay the 4.99 to gain access to my farm again. Second issue: every update brings more bugs or glitches Third issue: each update recently has been aimed at forcing you to use real money to make any progress especially the latest tournament announcement. Fourth issue: this is a personal moral issue they encourage gambling, it started with the crystal ball but now they have slots Fifth and final issue: the bones for the dogs you often loose the reward if you watch the ad to double reward ... the support team have blamed the third party ads even though it’s there game that crashes and loses reward. ✓ Such a shame!This is a great little game however, the recent introduction of beehives and honey has been so badly managed it’s spoilt the enjoyment. We all understand the need for new initiatives, we understand that honey gives higher value orders and XP. We understand we have to work hard to get the necessary mallets and coins. However, Big Farm’s assertion that honey orders represent only 10% of total orders is simply wrong, it’s much more like 70%. ✓ Used to be good, no longer.I’ve played this for over three years. I made friends, I’ve won competitions and grown my farm. Over the last few months there have been terrible connection issues, but there can’t possible be a bug if you log a ticket. I’ve lost a lot gold, the in game epic currency, but they have records that show transactions I didn’t make, it can’t possibly be a bug. They have introduced new features, exciting I hear you say?! Well not really as slows down the game play as you have to either ignore them and watch ads so you can send in the market place, earning them revenue, or destroy building you works so hard to create. Most recently the developers have completely upended how the co-operative competition works, forcing players to get the new features either by destroying or paying cold hard cash. With the recent update, I have not been able to play it much on my laptop because it freezes, you can’t click on anything because of the freezing and I keep losing rewards because you can’t watch any videos or do any projects. ✓ You’ve gotten too greedy Big FarmThe game was fun, updates have always been an issue (mostly due to bugs added in with each one), but the latest is just too far over the top. You can play alone or in a group, but now the contracts all want things you need to spend real cash on if you plan on getting anything done. Big Farm claims it is to keep the game challenging for the long term, but they have gone too far. It is no fun to ditch all your contracts and have to wait hours to maybe have the chance of getting a fish that you can turn into the latest golden ticket (mallets) so you can upgrade layers of items to finally make the newest addition to the game, honey. I don’t know at what level you need to be to have the honey forced down your throat, but once you get there, it isn’t fun. Great job at making everyone mad at you Big Farm! And it continues! Now you need the glorious water buckets to get a sheep pen to make hats at the tailor shop. Plus you need those mallets to upgrade your manufactory to get the dye to make colored items in the tailor shop. The honey requests became outrageous and this last update seems to have reduced that at least. They just can’t leave well enough alone! ✓ Somewhat fun.Not sure yet if I’m a fan. Like most games many things take long time to get such as some plantings, building homes and barn yard buildings. So you can only play the game for a short time and then wait. Unless you want to pay which I prefer not too. Also to upgrade items where you need gold. There was an update this morning. They changed all of the images on the feed bags to 2D cartoons. My co-op agrees that they are among the ugliest things we’ve ever seen. That is perhaps the most insulting thing I have seen happen to this game. Chicken feed is labelled “chicken feed” and has yellow corn on the top of the bag. Pig feed is “pig feed” and has light green cabbage on the top of the bag. Rabbit feed is “rabbit feed” and has bright orange carrots on the top of the bag. Then they all had a nice, unobtrusive picture of the animal on the front of the bag. If there are people who are colour-blind, okay, I could see that. But they are all still additionally labelled with words…apparently, the game developers think that only people who play Big Farm are of the lowest intelligence and cannot read. ✓ Your updates are frustrating!!!!!I play two farms one on an old phone with wifi and my main is on my phone and my iPad. Every freaking time you do an update there is a viscous cycle of update, open, update getting me no where. Fix your darn bugs!! And while I'm at it you need to make it so we can see who's online to help with projects...no more lurkers not helping out and your island is such a waste of time and resources!!!!!! ✓ Serious bugsThe game has been fun but it has a lot of bugs. It constantly needs to reload. It often says it’s a connection problem when it’s not. Other platforms work when this one doesn’t. Recently the game does not show profile info. Coins are misusing and dollar amounts, happiness, workers, etc., come and go. It is fun and a great way to enjoy building with incentives but the problems begin to outweigh the fun and purpose after a while, sadly. I hope it gets fixed because it could otherwise be a great game — and I don’t like to game much at all, so this one had me hooked until it all kept bugging out, worse and worse. ✓ Newest updateThis game demands constant watching of ads that are often hard to get out of. It demands real world money if you want to expand your farm. It CONSTANTLY crashes!! With all of the money and constant ads, you could at least make this a smooth game to play. There are always glitches!! I'm ready to give up. ✓ Developers Ignore Player InputHow many times can one company make the same mistake?? Over and over again new updates are issued with new glitches and bugs - and NOTHING is done to fix the ongoing connection issues we’ve been dealing with for many many months. I LOVE this game and have played it for many years - both the PC and now the mobile version, but these new buildings and new style coop tourney (and the sparkly bubbles - whose idea was THAT) may be the turning point for me. I don’t want to be told how to run our coop projects for tourney. We’ve always been able to plan our own coop strategies and concentrate on projects we enjoy. Why should we be forced to run projects that we hate and our farms are not set up for? And the three new buildings with products you can’t make a profit on? Market orders that include the products have laughable rewards. This is just another gold grab trying to force people to buy what they need to expand their farms. I do spend real money on the game but am cancelling my subscription and will not buy any more packages until I see a real difference in the way you treat your customers. ✓ Don’t like the new event decoI’m not a fan of the new event decos. I don’t like you need tokens to upgrade. I especially don’t like I can’t put it in my inventory. I put a deco worth more happiness in there to try the new one out. Only I can’t upgrade anymore as not enough tokens but can get rid (without demolishing and wasting my tokens) to put back in my better decoration! Have to say I’m really not happy. ✓ Money rules all - Screw the playersI’ve been playing this game for years - through all the crappy updates and annoying ideas because I really enjoy it and I’ve never had a particularly egregious problem. Until now. I received a receipt from Apple this week for a purchase I did not make in the game - it had to be an error. I requested and was granted a refund but upon return to the app my account was banned. I reached out to the support team to no response and I can only assume I was banned for requesting my money be returned after it was taken in error! I am beyond disappointed in the developers choices and the fact that they apparently value $4.99USD over users that have invested 5+ years in their game. The game is absolutely becoming less enjoyable the more you play it because you constantly run into these issues over and over and over again. ✓ Very, very disappointedI had been playing Big Farm for about five years. Very good game. I loved it. I was able to connect with some people and have friends. I started school and stoped playing for couple months. When I came back my app didn’t work. I uninstalled and installed the app again. Didn’t work, it was loading up to 59% and then quiting. I was trying for several weeks, with several wifi networks and nothing. I contacted the developer and just told me that there is nothing wrong from their end. I spent some money in the game. ✓ Quit half baked updates!!!!I am a big farm player along with my husband and son. We play daily! These updates literally kill the fun! They are half baked, breaks more than it fixes. When this update happened, not to mention it didn’t fix any of the issues with game chat reliability, we have my sons farm completely wiped out and can’t restore after working up to level 38. Right after I put a ticket in for this one, my husbands account is banned!! Seriously big farm? On coop week you guys roll these updates and every time it does more harm than good! Now coop suffers! Fix the game and answer the tickets, restoring our family’s accounts. We have invested far too much into them including in game purchases!.Version: 5.5
