Gridwise: Gig-Driver Assistant for Positive User Reviews

GodsendThe app is amazing, it does what you need as a rideshare driver, and then there’s the benefits that come with Gridwise that also make it attractive like the deals with other companies (I make use of the gasbuddy card and Visible phone service) - these two things alone help me save money and Gridwise opened that possibility up to me without having to search for it and that brings a lot of value to the table. I’m with the Gridwise family. Are you?.Version: 3.27.0

Enjoying the route map and earnings analysis - bike deliveryI do food deliveries on bike. I was recently thinking about using something like Strava to track my rides, but then I stumbled across Gridwise because someone mentioned it on a subreddit. The mileage tracker/map is exactly what I was looking for. You get a neat little map showing your entire route for the time you were online (including the amount of miles you travelled and the time). The earnings analysis was an added bonus. I multi-app (usually 3-4 apps), so it’s cool to see which app I’m getting the most from, how much I average per trip, per hour, etc. Good data to have. I’ve found it super easy to log my rides (you just flip a toggle in the app) and also painless to log my earnings afterwards. You manually add earnings (some kind of direct integration would be cool at some point), but it’s a breeze to do. I emailed their support team once. Got a pretty quick and helpful follow-up email that solved my issue. Glad I found the app. I plan to continue to use it every time I go out for deliveries (to track my route and mileage) and also to log my earnings after I’m done for the day..Version: 3.3.0

Free Mileage Tracker @ BEST!I aprreciate the service GRIDWISE has to offer especially through these hard times. I work UBER as a P/T second job and i dont recieve my full compensation when it comes to tax season, i hope i get it right this year. $0.585/mile. And its not just for Uber driver but any Buisness Route. Everything adds up, it feels good to have help. With all the additional features it’s well worth it for the PRO version. I’ll keep you guys up to date! Thank you for all the support! Keep up the great work! 🤙.Version: 3.22.1

Wowww!Wowwww! I am super impressed with this app! First of all, the design and look is really nice. Super easy to navigate through and understand. Secondly, all of my gig apps we’re available to link my accounts! It has perks and benefits available! I’m just blown away lol ! Being a gig worker always on the go and using multiple platforms, it can be really difficult and frustrating keeping up with mileage, expenses, and earnings. I can’t believe this app has made it so easy for me! Literally get in the car open the app and turn it on before you drive off and you’re set! Today was my first day trying it out. I like that it has my hours too! Thank you guys soooo much for this app! You all did an amazing job! 🙏🏾⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ IG: teenskino.Version: 3.11.0

Love the app BUTThe app is super convenient tracks ur miles lets you add ur expenses it’s like a dairy for driving. Just swipe start tracking & ur good for the day. It will even ask you if u have finished ur shift incase you forget to stop tracking. There are a few little issues that bug me & can confuse someone. You can sink whatever apps your working with like shipt door dash instacart etc.. it gives you the option of manually putting in how much you make for the day or like I said U can sink ur accounts. But when u sink ur accounts it sometimes doesn’t work like it signs me out of my shipt account all the time & I have to log back in. Same with door dash etc. it can be confusing because if it doesn’t automatically put ur earnings in so you do it & then all of a sudden they do it too. So it’s like double the earnings. That’s not good for keeping up with taxes. So I just say don’t link the accounts just manually put ur earnings & expenses in yourself. But its definitely a good app. Even comes with rewards. Check it out..Version: 3.21.0

Great way to keep track of your earnings and expensesI don’t have anything bad to say about the app, I LOVE it. Only issue I have is that the uploading of the Doordash info seems to go out every other week or so. Sometimes your Doordash earnings and info will not get updated for 2 weeks. That only started happening relatively recently and believe it has more to do with Doordash coding their app so other apps cannot access certain information. But other than that, earnings and info should be updated daily. Currently my Uber Eats info gets updated daily throughout the day. Doordash as of late can be sketchy, but it normally it’s supposed to update multiple times per day..Version: 3.24.3

Essential for the freelancerEven with just the free portion of the software, keeping track of my hours, mileage, earnings, and expenses, would be impossible without Gridwise. It allows me to enter my fuel expenses as soon as I fill up, keep track of my earnings based on the source to ensure my tax filings will be accurate, and make the most of my time by driving where demand is high. I can’t imagine making it through tax season without Gridwise..Version: 3.19.2

Uber driver sine last year, love this app!!!I have been driving for Uber since June 2021. Let me tell you this app has been very handy for tracking my miles. It also will itemize the miles at the end of the year for tax purposes. It also keeps an ongoing total of your expected standard mileage deduction daily so you can be on top of what you owe daily. Besides tracking miles, it keeps track of airport arrival and departures, gives you clues on best places and times to drive and tracks special events in your area as well. They have partnered with many other complementary apps for additional money making or management ideas. I truly believe this app is the best I’ve used for rideshare. I have just covered the free version, I think the paid version could be a real game changer..Version: 3.20.0

An amazing VALUABLE APPThis is an app that every ride-share driver must get! The airport feature that shows upcoming arrival and departure passenger numbers alone is a priceless time saver! No more having to drive all the way to the airport to see how many drivers are in the que. The list of current events, concerts, theater, sporting events, etc is amazingly detailed and will even send you notices when the event is letting out, so you know exactly when to be there. Now we need more of you to get the app and log in when you are at the airport and make the que number even more accurate. Hard to believe all this accurate info is in a free, easy to use app!.Version: 1.3.6

GridwiseIt helps me so much knowing how many seats the different arrivals each have, so I can plan my day to know which planes to show up for. I usually figure I’ll wait for passengers if the Que is 10% or less of the amount the plane holds, since the planes are usually running full these days. So Gridwise helps me very much to know if I should get into the airport Que or work the area, and when to return. I love it, and check it every day. In the morning, I just write down all the times of arrivals and the amount of people the plane holds, on a sheet of paper, and clip it to the dash. I then return to the airport at those times and count those in the Que, to get a good assumption if the Que is too crowded to get a ride or if the probability is too low to get one, and therefore choose to work the area..Version: 3.18.1

Well rounded tool for rideshare driversI have been using this app for a little over one year, and I will say it comes in pretty handy. Keeper Tax I found through this app as an affiliate, and together it really helps. Keep me on track with my tax obligations. Some features that I like, definitely number one is the mileage expense tracker along with being able to easily navigate through past early years print out statements in the marketplace, has a lot of different tools that may be helpful. It seems like they are adding pretty consistently to the marketplace. Overall, I really enjoy the app. I appreciate the hard work in meeting our needs..Version: 3.24.0

Very useful and easy to use!It is very, very useful and helpful. I drive for Doordash and it links up with the Doordash app and keeps track of everything. Mileage I drive, money and tips I make, calculates all the money in different ways. It is very useful at keeping all the info all organized so when I do my taxes I have everything I need in one place. Doordash is not nearly as helpful and organized as this app. I am so happy I found an app that utilizes graphs as well on how well I did on a week to week basis. Definitely an app I would recommend if you do any jobs like Doordash, Instacart, Uber, and other jobs like it. All of them link up with this app. Also I am surprised that it does all this for free. There is a paid version but I will be upgrading since I love this app so much..Version: 3.16.0

Amazing for side gigsMini say gigs, do not like to track the miles for you and other apps like to charge you a monthly fee for using your app to track your mileage. I believe this is one of the best apps to track your mileage, since it is free to use and they also give you notifications whenever there’s a spike in your area for certain services I personally use it just for track your mileage so I can get my text deductions every year one of the best apps use when your doing side gigs.Version: 3.27.0

A lot of potential..Let me first start by saying this all is nearly a game changer for gig app workers. It’s a very clean app, with easy to use features that normal require multiple apps to accomplish. This app does it in 1. Now, I downloaded this app with the hopes of seeing what delivery drivers in my area are making compared to what I make. However this feature seams to be only limited to Lyft/Uber. I truly hope they expand their features to include more delivery gigs instead of mainly Rideshare. I also couldn’t find any information on if there was a milage tracking limit with the free version or not. I’m definitely willing to keep this app round for a while and compare it to what I’m currently using and see how it measures up. Please include the other gig platforms in the current features available it would make this app even more beneficial.Version: 3.7.0

A must have whether you’re a full time, part time, or seasonal Rideshare/delivery driver. It does what it say it does, but it’s not perfect. Very easy to learn and navigate. Im not gonna go to every little detail that needs work but couple things I wish they have already implemented is to allow you to create a custom categories and add more functionality for the subscription version like auto-track mileage..Version: 3.27.0

Awesome App!I deliver food orders daily and Gridwise is a lifesaver! It keeps up with my mileage and expenses, as little or as much data as I need. You can link it to DoorDash (don’t know about others, DD keeps me busy enough!) and keep up with earnings vs expense. Weekly reports come automatically A lot of people don’t realize that mileage is a HUGE benefit on your taxes ($0.58/mile deduction!) and this is the BEST way to keep up with it! Tracks net income per month, can export tax reports etc, etc. I LOVE Gridwise!.Version: 3.22.1

Good Earnings and Mileage TrackerGridwise does well at tracking your mileage and earnings based on synchronized contract work apps. You do get a bit of email spam endorsing other apps but that’s not uncommon and tolerable. The daily/weekly/monthly/yearly earnings per service, dollars per mile and hourly rate breakdown could be improved for easier (or better tailored) viewing. One thing which needs significant work is the service vs. profit suggestion, based upon market in terms of what service is making the most money there. Currently, it appears limited to major metropolitan markets. After a significant amount of data collection (app use), that should hopefully extend to regional and/or specific markets. If that were fully implemented, this app could be dynamite to independent contractors seeking bang for buck intel..Version: 3.20.0

Great App to have if you’re in ridesharing industryLove this application because it brings me peace of mind to track my mileage as soon as leave my to when I get back home. It’s also key when in the streets and I’m looking for that long trip earnings so I go to app and notice they’re 4000 flights leaving Dulles airport in Washington DC so I set my destination to Dulles and 8 of 10 times I get that long trip earning ride. And more then likely I will get an immediate back to DC. Thanks Gridwise for making my life easier on the street..Version: 1.3.6

Love It, Just One Thing…I really love this app for keeping track of mileage and earnings/expenses. Regarding the earnings, when it’s running properly, it’s superb! It breaks down and compares your trips and earnings via each gigapp. Just one thing… my Uber Eats has been a spinny blue thing that has been spinning for at least a month! I don’t even mind entering my info manually, but if that’s the case, then I would like to be able to enter the number of trips for more accurate earnings comparisons! Thanks so much..Version: 3.14.0

Saves gig workers life on taxesI only work for one “self contractor” platform and events and stuff like that isn’t that useful for me. I’m sure it’s super great if you do some kind of ride share whatever. But just the mile tracking will save you on taxes. Those deductions really add up though the year and mostly wipe out the income taxes you would owe with out it. Easy stored and put together into one document for taxes. Gig workers are way more likely to get audited and pulling together receipts or a keeping a paper spread sheet on your own. Takes a little while to get in the habit of always starting when you start working but the notifications help especially if you put on time sensitive notifications. This isn’t the first app I tried for this but it’s definitely the easiest and more reliable..Version: 3.20.0

You will earn more money with this appThis app is the best thing for rideshare drivers since the car. Gridwise allows you to map out and schedule your day while also keeping you up-to-date on changing circumstances such as flight delays, weather, events, etc. This plus the flight data are invaluable for they allow you to easily anticipate high-demand areas and times. This app will increase your earnings help you to keep your costs down by providing you with the information you need, when you need it, and where you need it thereby allowing you to make more efficient choices throughout the day..Version: 2.9.1

Thank you Grid WiseThank you for helping me keep track of my mileage as an independent contractor. Although I just added you guys for 2023 you helped me save over $2000 In deductions and expenses. Which is clutch for tax season and y’all also referred me to other good business products like giggle and Lilly Banking. I can’t wait to use y’all free trial to file for CVS taxes and other good perks y’all have I am still new and still exploring but y’all have done wonders for me already 😁🤝. We’re definitely in business..Version: 3.34.0

Uber Eats DoorDash DeliveriesI love the way it tracks my mileage and let me know how much I’m saving. The app is pretty much user friendly and allows you to enter the information you choose to use for tracking. However, it doesn’t sync regularly with DoorDash & yes, you can place your earnings in manually. But, you have to go in & keep checking whether it updated or not to remove the update you placed so it is not recorded twice. Very inconvenient & a royal pain! 🙄😒.Version: 3.24.3

Fantastic AppIt is a great tool to use for self-employed gig workers, makes filing your taxes at the end of the year much easier. It also lets you see when it’s the best time to do some work and shows trends so you can make your schedule based on the high-demand times or based on events going on around town, it also alerts you should you forget to turn the app on before going out on the town to do some work..Version: 3.36.1

Amazing app!I've been using this application for a while now and as long as I remember to have it start tracking my mileage before I start my shift for DoorDash/Postmates/Amazon Flex, it helps me keep track of everything. Whatever ride-sharing or delivery service you use, you can link it within the app and it'll keep track of mileage, total trips, & total earnings. And that's just what's free. There's a couple other features inside the app that you can pay for but that's up to you..Version: 3.12.0

Would give a 5 ⭐️ buuuuuut….I don’t know why everlance is reviewed & used so much more than this app. Maybe it’s because it boasts its “partnered” with DD, & DD promotes it so you can “easily export your info for tax time” but don’t be fooled, any mile tracking app can. I think 🤔 I hope 🤞lol. The only thing holding me back from giving 5⭐️ is that I wish we could snap a pic of the gas or expense, or whatever receipt, like when you enter it in, other apps let you snap a pic to have in case you lose receipts for whatever reason. But not a huge deal, just a thought..Version: 3.25.3

Essential App for DriversGridwise tracks your miles for tax report time, and easily exports them in a report for your tax agent, saving you money and hassle in a big way. It also helps you plan for airport rides with specific real-time flight listings to save you time waiting in airport queues. The app also helps you track your earnings that you can pull up very easily and set to link up automatically to your rideshare accounts. If you drive for Uber and Lyft (or other service), you always know what platform rides contribute most to your earnings per any given time. Can’t miss with this one. Highly recommend this helpful app. You will find yourself using it daily. — Kenneth.Version: 3.5.0

Gridwise for rideshare driver and gas userPaying for the pro subscription has primarily allowed me to track accurate mileage when driving for ride share services. This comes in handy at tax time to ensure I’m within proper limits for deductions and accuracy with accounting and reporting. Not only that, but it allows access to GasBuddy pro, which has periods of discounted gas prices across the city. I say periods because lately there hasn’t been as many deep discounts compared to the local Costco gas station, compared to a few months ago. If you already have a Costco/ Sam’s club membership for gas purposes, and aren’t ride share driving/driving long miles in various places without these club discount stores, you might not be able to justify the Gridwise pro subscription. Solid app, works well, even reminds you when you start driving to track a shift if necessary. Plenty of other features as well. Great value being added. 🫶🏽.Version: 3.29.0

Very HelpfulThis app has helped my optimize my earnings and be more efficient with the miles I drive and the time I am working. Since I downloaded this, my dollars/mile has improved from barely $0.88/mile to over $1.50/mile consistently which has allowed my to work fewer hours, put less wear and tear on my vehicle and reduce the mental strain that comes with driving an excessive amount of miles just to pull in some decent money. This app even helps me anticipate airport traffic to see if it is worth it to sit in the lot after doing an airport dropoff (even though my market has “rematch” at the airport..Version: 3.19.2

Great mileage tracker!I’m still new to all this. I’m not sure if I am allowed to share credentials like passwords and logins so I opted to just do it manually. I already have issues with my DasherDirect account most of the time when I use it for gas, so I must find an alternate route to pay for gasoline by cash or going inside to talk to the teller or move money into my Chime account (it’s more stable and reliable) but it is a few extra steps I have to take. Safety and Security is my goal for peace of mind and surely it’s a bit annoying on my end to not have to share login credentials due to past experience. But if I can I would if it’s safe to do so..Version: 3.29.1

Fantastic almost all in one app. This app does a lot of the data mining for you. Even tells you what the airport arrival flow is for the day so you can better plan your airport runs. And it will even show you where you make more money between all your apps. One major downside is it only tracks mileage and income right now. For other things like tolls, and parking fees, you still need a separate app. So for now, I wouldn’t switch completely to this app just yet. They have a forum for suggesting features, but it seems that tolls and parking has been on there a year and still nothing has been done..Version: 3.6.0

AwesomenessI can not express how much this app has helped me out. I do food delivery and it has really helped me see which parts of town that I should focus on for maximum profit. I used to do all the analytics myself ($/mi, per hour, trips per hour, etc and that’s all done for me). Helps me to easily compare ubereats, Door day and Grubhub and refine my driving focus. I also really like how they track miles and provide YTD earnings to simplify how much I need for taxes. Also another great feature is telling me what days are the most profitable to drive. This app is really awesome and takes the guesswork out of how to maximize your profits with daily performance emails after each day. Highly recommended. I use the paid version. Thanks Team for making this great resource for us. 5 stars! Keep up the great work.Version: 3.14.0

Great app so far!I did the trial because it seems free has basics but not a lot , but the info helps especially working multiple gig jobs like myself , have 5 of them, it does it all which I like. Tracks miles , expenses , syncs your money made automatically and can see yearly reports, can export information for taxes, so they covered all the bases, another cool feature is it tells you flights, amount of passengers , events , when events get out, so you know when to Uber and when it will be busy, for many areas around you. So I love the app, only downside is the cost a month for it. To little I feel for free , I might not use after trial. Not sure..Version: 3.21.0

GreatVery Current with the times for Self-Employed Parcel/Rideshare Drivers. This app offers very user friendly experience. Most of all, this app partners with other companies that help expand Earnings potential through services that save money in areas you may already spend routinely on your business. The app helps me manage earnings data collected from several services that i drive for. As soon as i press ‘Tracking’ my shift has started. As soon as i press ‘stop Tracking’, my shift has ended..Version: 3.19.0

It needs helpThis app is very easy to use, and has like a minimalistic look. Which is nice. I got this app for tracking my mileage I do food deliveries and the first time using it it did not track accurately. I enabled all the things that are required for it to track me and rather than going down the streets that I went down it just made a straight line from point A to point B and it didn’t count one of the other drives that I did. It just needs a little help that’s all. It’s really nice app and it’s free which is wonderful..Version: 3.19.2

New design is a step back in timeI have been using Gridwise for multiapp earnings tracking on delivery only platforms UE, DD, GH, and Favor. Previous version was AWESOME. There were many different filters to drill down for different insights. And the main page showed key insights like $/hour, $/ mile, and trips/ hour. This new design is clunky and more cumbersome to find insights. The old design was flashy by comparison. You now see your key insights on a separate page. But you lose all the additional filters. I can no longer see my average earnings per delivery on my top three platforms (I had hoped they would add the ability to see average earnings on all my platforms)..Version: 3.25.0

Only 1 recommendationI love the app. All the features, earnings tab, insights, avg earnings per day. Connections to almost all other gig apps are great! It’s just I would like your company to add multiple accounts per gig app. For example, if you you had 2 or more Doordash accounts you could link those to Gridwise, so you can see earnings on both accounts not just one account linked per gig app. Everything else is fine. I hope this feature comes available soon! Thanks..Version: 3.36.1

Amazing app!!!This app is awesome and so glad I found it. I can track my mileage, add expenses, and have my earnings automatically updated with the sync feature for multiple ride-share gigs. If you choose to pay for premium version you can see the flights coming in and out at local airports as well as when the best time to drive is for your area. I would highly recommend this app to anyone doing any sort of ride-share gig!.Version: 3.14.0

Gridwise - the virtual assistant!Gridwise has made my side hustle scaleable- it is so easy to keep a record of earnings and expenses so I can do a quick cost/benefit analysis of various delivery platforms which saves/makes me more money, saves me time and makes my life easier! With it I can track the distances I have to drive as well as the cost in gas, time and money so I can evaluate whether on a given day it makes more sense to commute to a nearby town to deliver or stay local. That’s just one of the benefits. Get it - you won’t regret it! Gridwise is the way to go!.Version: 3.29.1

Gridwise reviewI like this app for many reasons but I’m going to list just a couple of reasons. The Events feature helps me plan my shifts for greater impact on my income levels. I can make sure I’m close by when Events “let out” (and sometimes get the good “surges”!!). The Gridwise app is helpful for me to know when and where to focus my driving times. I also like the airport arrivals and departures graph. Showing the number of people coming into my airport is important when the piece of the pie is being cut. So if I’m having a “slow day” I can use the graph chart as a guide to help with my planning..Version: 3.16.0

Makes keeping track of earnings simple!I don’t know about you, but I’m busier then ever. Modern life makes it hard to have time to do things like keep track of earning, expense reports, and knowing just how much we need to take out for taxes. For us that are self employed this is a massive step in allowing us to be successful. I decided to pay for premium which is a good deal for those in Gig work!.Version: 3.29.1

Great app!!!I stumbled upon this app and decided to try it. It works great. Much better than any other tracking app I’ve tried so far. My only issue or change I would suggest would be if a person does other gigs like merchandising or mystery shopping and still want to track earnings or mileage, maybe put a feature to manually add a service so that all income is in one place. For example if I did a gig for XYZ company you could add it manually and keep track of that income also. Currently I use 2 apps for this. I’d like to use only 1 and yours by far is better. Other than that. I’m sold!!.Version: 3.16.0
