✓ Best soccer appHaving lived in many cities over the last 10 years in Europe and the US, I’ve always had trouble finding games to join. Organising games is hard as commitment levels vary and can be expensive. If you’re new to a city, you also don’t always know enough people to create a game. Also going to the gym is boring! This app eliminated all of that for me. I tentatively joined the group a few months ago and was surprised to find how many great facilities there are around Miami and how easy it was to join a game. Never seen this in any other city I have lived in. I now play 4-5 times a week in various locations but never more than 10 mins from home. The skill level is curated and full of good people from all different backgrounds. The creators have done an incredible job, absolutely love this app..Version: 1.32.2
✓ Great Concept, needs ethical usersHonestly when I first found out about this app I thought it was great, connects players who want to play pickup in your area and makes the setup easier than having to beg your friends to make some free time for some footy. Payment is also made easier. However, the flaws with this app don’t lie within the app itself. I do think the UI can be a little smoother and more user friendly/ visually appealing, but the current one works just fine. What I mean with the flaws is that the users are usually the ones that cause the problems when it comes to showing up to the games. I know we can rate the players and stuff but a lot of the time I don’t even know what they look like because their profile picture isn’t a headshot. That should definitely be a requirement of the app, to have a headshot of yourself as the profile photo. Some players leave last minute and we’re left with an incomplete team, and there is some form of punishment from the app for doing that, but it still ruins the experience. I’ve had some great pickup games though, so I hope this app continues to grow! Looking forward to seeing the future with it..Version: 1.40.2

✓ Sign up, show up, and playLike most of you all, downloading another app that I've never heard of can always seem sketch. Mateo is my city manager and has made it very easy to understand how do use the app. The app is very simple: pick what city you're in, pick what sport you're playing, and pick what day you want to play. That's it, just show up and play! I appreciate that there is no need to have any kind of long chat messages, and yet, if I need to ask any questions, the app includes a message board for each game. You can also see which players are playing in your game, and select each one individually to see their stats and how many games they play throughout the week. They also include a rating system afterwards to see how your game went and how your host was. Speaking of game hosts, there's one assigned to every game. They're the ones in charge of making the teams, explaining the rules, and just making you feel welcome. Lastly, you can pay for your games online, so no need to bring cash. Better than funneling through a bunch of Facebook groups, trying to figure out who's playing..Version: 1.40.5

✓ Really simple!I’ve been looking for some soccer games lately and it was a little difficult to find some, then I saw an ad on Instagram about this app, so I decided to give it a chance, and it looked very easy. I told 2 of my friends to try it and we did. Look for a day and time. Simple booking, easy options found some other players and we got a game. At first we weren’t in the same team but it was as easy as asking the admin to pair us in the same team. We enjoy that game and we’re looking to go to more towards the summer! One negative thing, but I think it has to be mostly with the organizer is that we didn’t have details of the game such as what color shirt to wear until just an hour before the game. Before I knew this app existed, a few of my friends and I would have to call the location we'd want to play at, reserve a field, and pay either before or after you play(depending on the location). This app solves all of this for you! You can see the availability of any fields around your area, simply tell your friends to sign up for a certain time and you pay as soon as you reserve your spot. Not only is it a time saver but you also reduce the chances of anyone flaking (I believe the cancellation policy is 2-3 hours before the scheduled time or you will not receive a full refund). I couldn’t believe it till I saw it, but the Plei app existed and i couldn’t be happier! I was never one to just show up at the park and ask to play. Being a bit of an introvert. But this fully takes away the anxiety of having to show up and not knowing anyone or if there are even ppl out there playing! It allows me to see those who will be joining the game ahead of time. It’s easy to message other players, sign up for games, and get refunded if cancelling up to 3 hours before start time. I think almost every game I’ve ever signed up for ends up filling. I always get a prompt response from the admin team. What needs improvement: sometimes players don’t show up, and every once in awhile it’s enough players that we can’t even start a game…and you’ll never get reimbursed for this. Plei also seems to be working on ways to match players of similar skill sets, but it doesn’t always work out that way. You sign up, and you’re shown a variety of cages where you can go play and reserve a spot on the field (you can also reserve extra spots for friends if they don’t have the app themselves). I’ve only ever had one weird issue with the app where my reserved spot was canceled, and when I spoke with support they offered me a 50% off for the next game I played at. I was struggling to get info on the different pick up sessions all around the soccer complexes in Orlando, plus I was a little unmotivated because I knew that a lot of waiting between games was a staple of most of those pick up sessions. The instruction on what to do when you get there was clear as well. The game started a bit late because of another team that was on the field that did not want to leave but we were able to start after 15 mins waiting which wasn’t too bad. I had the opportunity of meeting new people as well and they were really kind and friendly especially since I’m a beginner at playing soccer. The app is pretty easy to understand and whoever is in charge of the IG page is pretty good with answers when you contact them. ✓ Great1 dowloaded the plei app from a friends recommendation about 6 months ago, and I can honestly say it's the best pickup soccer experience ive had. The games available are easily viewable and even easier to sign up for, you won't get charged until the game is confirmed with enough players which I find to be a great feature allowing you to sign up worry free. The field I usually go to is played in a 7v7 format on a small field with green artificial grass, the field is great and you don't get as tired playing the whole hour nonstop compared to playing a full size field so your able to play the whole game without feeling as tired. Regardless playing the full games are always a workout and I'd say a better cardio than hitting the gym. The competition level in almost every game Ive played in has been high level with good players on each team creating great competition between teams. ✓ The Best Pickup Soccer appI dowloaded the plei app from a friends recommendation about 6 months ago, and I can honestly say it’s the best pickup soccer experience ive had. The games available are easily viewable and even easier to sign up for, you won’t get charged until the game is confirmed with enough players which I find to be a great feature allowing you to sign up worry free. The field I usually go to is played in a 7v7 format on a small field with green artificial grass, the field is great and you don’t get as tired playing the whole hour nonstop compared to playing a full size field so your able to play the whole game without feeling as tired. Regardless playing the full games are always a workout and I’d say a better cardio than hitting the gym. The competition level in almost every game Ive played in has been high level with good players on each team creating great competition between teams. Overall the games are loads of fun and a great experience for any soccer players that haven’t played in a while or even current soccer players looking to get extra training in..Version: 1.40.2
✓ Amazing Soccer app, but needs correcting of difficulty levelsI recently moved to Miami and learned about the Plei app from my new barber. I personally fell in love with the sport at 25 (I’m 30 now). So I’m not very good but I love to play. On the app they do separate matches by difficulty and I would choose the lowest which is amateur. It promotes saying that this is purely recreational and coed. When I went to my first match, I may have well been up against Man United. These players were insanely good, and my team was getting angry at my mistakes even though I’m trying to learn and doing my best. This led to me being discouraged to play again. My advice, offer a true beginners difficulty which truly allows for a fun way to learn the game for the players who didn’t get the privilege to play this beautiful game at a young age..Version: 1.40
✓ Plei Best AppPlei, is the best app ever because I saw that they were having pick up games at a field that is close where I am living. The app works really well, you can see the upcoming games, the players that will play in an specific game, there is a message board for each game, it works really smoothly. The price for each pick up game is reasonable, between 5 dollars to 11 dollars. Once you join a game you won't get charged until for sure there are enough players to play the game, which I find great! When you actually show up to the game, there's private parking with private security (at least in the field that I usually go to). The field is synthetic turf, and it's beautiful. The games that I have attended are usually 5 vs 5. The games that I have played have been extremely fun, all levels, sometimes you get very talented players, others people that are starting to play, whoever you get it's always fun and a great work out. Would definitely recommend this app if you are looking to play games during the week and you want to decide when to play or not. Very fun, will definitely keep on playing..Version: 1.40

Plei change the “game” literally, they where able to create an app, environment and community to bring athletes from all walks of life together. You don’t have to worry about not having enough people to play or make up your team, all you have to do is join the app open it up and pick a game it’s that simple. You get to meet new people every time you play, both novice and skill players. Did I also mentioned it’s coed! ✓ I love the Plei community!I’m in love with Plei! Because of my job I can’t commit to a League so the easiest way for me is to be able to just find a pickup, pay and play. So I’m a huge fan of apps that make it easy, simple and fun. I really like the fact that you can cancel one hour before and you won’t get charge, also I like that you can see who’s on the roaster, some apps use fake players to make it look like it’s complete so that people sign up. Not in here! Also there are like 10 options, different locations, different times so you for sure will find a game that fits your schedule 💪🏻 The other thing is the community, at least in Houston I have felt always included, respected and safe playing with the guys. ✓ Amazing appI recently downloaded this app after noticing picking games being played in a field near my house. The app works very well; you can see the upcoming games, the players who will be participating in each game and there is a message board for each game. Each collectible set costs between $10 and $12 , which is a fair price. You won't be charged once you join a game because there will be a lot of players, which I think is great! There is gated parking and gated security when you arrive at the game (at least at the course I visit frequently). The pitch is beautiful and covered in artificial grass. The games I've attended are typically 4v4 or 5v5. Due to traffic etc people are usually 10 minutes late. The games I've played have been great fun for all skill levels; Whether you are an experienced player or a beginner, it is always enjoyable and a great workout. If you want to play during the week and want to choose when to play or not, I definitely recommend this app. I'll keep playing because it was a lot of fun..Version: 1.40.2
✓ The Beautiful GameThis app literally saved me from not playing what I like to call "The Beautiful Game" it got me connected again with some friends, after I introduced them to the app witch they also liked too, not to mention that we got super hyped for the first pick up game and to see the the first field we payed at "Fire Pitch" amazing complex and I personally can't wait for summer to play 11v11. Also I would like ti mention that mentally this could help a lot of people to break an old habit and to stay in shape and have fun playing soccer. I thinks it's amazing to just have a place secure after you signs up for a game because honestly before that we'd have to go to places where we had ti wait for the "captains to make teams and as time was running it would get well annoying and that's why this app was very helpful. I recommend evening to use it because it's like and every day event and of course the best one. It’s an easy and simple app that allows you to sign up for indoor soccer pick up games! It costs around $5-$10 dollars per game which is a reasonable price. The app shows you how many spots are left for each game for every day of the week and also the time the game starts. There’s usually pick up games in the morning, afternoon, and evening which is super convenient. If there is not enough players signed up for the game they will refund you and also send you a notification so you don’t have to drive to the indoor soccer facility. ✓ Fantastic Pick-up Soccer OrganizerI have recently downloaded this app to find pickup games around me and it really works wonders. Before I knew this app existed, a few of my friends and I would have to call the location we’d want to play at, reserve a field, and pay either before or after you play (depending on the location). Sometimes some friends would tell us last minute that they couldn’t make it so we’d end up having to pay a little extra for the field, plus not having enough players to actually enjoy the match. This app solves all of this for you! You can see the availability of any fields around your area, simply tell your friends to sign up for a certain time and you pay as soon as you reserve your spot. Not only is it a time saver but you also reduce the chances of anyone flaking (I believe the cancellation policy is 2-3 hours before the scheduled time or you will not receive a full refund). Even if people do cancel there are potential players outside of your friend group that can sign up if you can’t fill those spots. Great app, my friends and I use it all the time!.Version: 1.39.1
