Fender Play: Songs & Lessons for Positive User Reviews

Excellent, good varietyReally enjoying my free trial of Fender Play at the moment and most likely will take a paid subscription. Lots of variety in the lessons and explains everything really well, ideal for a beginner One feature that I’d like to see extended is more options for playback speeds as only 50, 75 and 100% seem available and those are big jumps. Ideally I’d like 5% increments.Version: 5.7.1

Fantastic AppII have been trying to learn to play the guitar for 20 years, including taking lessons. I always found that I struggled to find the time to proactive and it became a chore. This app freed me up to play when I wanted, in the style of music I wanted, on my own terms. I’ve had the app for a year and my ability, confidence and enjoyment have all skyrocketed. I would recommend this app to anyone wanting to learn to play the guitar..Version: 5.7.1

Pretty fun for an old guyI didn’t know where to start when I decided to learn how to play the guitar. So I went to a pawn shop and bought a 50 dollar guitar and then found the Fender app. This thing is great. I can use it once a day or three times a day. It is ready whenever I have time and the lessons start just where I need them to start, right at the beginning. So having turned 61 years old I have found something that I am clearly horrible at that I plan to get better at. That’s pretty cool for an old guy and the Fender app is making it possible..Version: 2.6.3

ValueGood value for the price . So much entertainment you can get for a good price I didn’t give it 5 as quite new and haven’t used all services . Still learning. I like how you get a free trial without card details. Wasn’t sure at first but in the end like to proceed . This will do for now. Of course you can get free courses but need to spend to get a premium service. Soon I can jam properly..Version: 3.8.0

Couldn’t have asked for a better appI am 15 Years old and I only downloaded this app yesterday and I cannot believe how amazing it is. I am also visually impaired and it is very accessible, the instructions are fantastic. It is my dream to 1 day be great at guitar and this app is amazing..Version: 2.11.4

Loving it!Decided to buy a guitar and learn how to play and am glad I did. The Fender app teaches the basics but doesnt drag on with boring beginner lessons as they mix in teaching you some fun riffs to get you excited to play. I also love the birds eye-view camera angle over the teacher so you can see how they place theyre fingers on the frets to form a chord. Recommend this app!.Version: 4.3.0

4 starsGreat app but I don’t like the fact that I have to pay for it and it needs more songs.Version: 4.3.0

The BEST guitar teaching app! This is one of the best teaching app for guitar hands down! It also teaches Bass and ukulele so if you feel like learning two stringed instruments this is the only app that does both well from what I’ve looked at..Version: 2.14.4

Amazing! Now I’m a just some 10 year old but it is awesome! Now I’ll say this it could have live calls with teachers but other than that it’s good so yeah.Version: 3.2

Learning made easy-erWhat’s to like so far (a few weeks in), for guitar only? Instructors speak clearly and visuals that accompany them are usually really good. As an example, seeing front and top views of the fretboard while they play really helps one see where the fingers go when. Also great is the review function, I don’t love turning my phone’s mic on for apps, but this is great that it listens and grades you, so use it. Use of tablature is welcome as well as the scrolling chords by name. Strum along in time. Some things that seem off? Settings for “counting in” happen with some types of exercises but not others, regardless of the settings I change. Also, the measures themselves in certain exercises aren’t physically/visually the same width so the time keeping aspect “speeds up” and “slows down” in an odd way. I know even sheet music sometimes doesn’t stay consistent- but for learning purposes it does make it harder to keep a consistent pace. I understand price and value are highly variable-this is the most expensive app I have purchased on my phone. Also, I did try to use the Fender purchasing discount at a dealer and they had never heard of it-so maybe spreading that good word would be a good thing to save us some money supporting Fender. Over all a great app that I hope keeps me growing my skills for a long time to come..Version: 5.8.0

YesI have only had fender and my bass for 3 hours yet this app is amazing. I’ve learnt more then I have in school in music. It provides you with lessons and practices/exercise. But like all apps it has its downs. Really the only problem is the fact that some parts the language gets a bit to tricky and they don’t exactly tell you what it’s for. Other then that this app has been a huge help. I’ll be writing a review in about a year from now saying how the journey has gone from now.Version: 3.9.0

Great AppI find this app a great way to learn how to play a guitar in a practical sense. It allows the user to both learn in a well structured lesson and explore individual lessons..Version: 4.0.1

Loving the bite-sized approachI regard myself to be a sort-of intermediate player, but I’m enjoying my journey through the basics again, and I’m learning a bunch of new stuff along the way too. The bite-sized chunks really do make it possible to take a lesson anywhere, any time, and the community is super-supportive and encouraging. It’s been a great way for me to regain some lost motivation, and to start finding my own style. Highly recommended..Version: 1.8.4

Fender playHaving a great time enjoying learning with fender play - I might not be good but I love it 😃.Version: 2.16.0

InstructorsGreat, calming, patient instructors. They make it feel like it isn’t video learning..Version: 3.5.0

Thanks Fender!Ive had this app about 2 weeks and thoroughly enjoy it. They break everything down for the noob in all of us. I’ve been playing everyday and it keeps me coming back to learn more. Solid app. For me.. it’s worth every penny!.Version: 3.8.0

Great experience, Thanks FenderI took advantage of the free download opportunity during the pandemic, being confined to home, and an attempt to keep my sanity. The course was awesome, going at my own pace, with access to instructors and simple straight forward modules. Ive attempted many times over the years to learn a musical instrument, finally settling on a Ukulele. While struggling, with finger dexterity issues, I’ve found the fender play app has improved both my arthritis and memory. Thank you! Now, the monthly cost of 10.00 -12.00 dollars is really a bit steep..Version: 3.1.0

It is the best!I am so happy about this app but one thing about it is that it cost $50 a month after your 2 week trial but other that that it is the best way to learn your ukulele I definitely recommend it to you it has been my 3 week of learning the ukulele and I have been taking my time I usually practice every other day after school I am now learning to transition into different notes and the best part is you can ask questions to who ever is teaching you I am a little bit weird but I like to play my ukulele backwards and they said it is ok as long as I tone it backwards so I did and I am having no trouble with this app what so ever they also show videos on how to do everything step by step I definitely recommend this to you and if you get this app I really hope you love it as much as I do!.Version: 2.7.2

Absolutely brilliantI don’t ever leave reviews but I’ll leave a review for this app. I’m a first timer at 43 years old with little music experience. Your app makes it easy, enjoyable and challenging to learn. I’ve found myself in just two weeks meeting expectations I had for months down the track and I’m absolutely loving the process and my new found abilities. Thank you so much for putting this together. PS - my fingers hurt. And it’s worth it..Version: 2.14.5

So good until the recent updateI have been using the Fender app for around 8 months to learn both the guitar and ukulele. It has been amazingly helpful and well structured with a great mix of chords, exercises, riff’s and tunes across different instruments and genres. However, the recent update has, in my opinion, made it a much less enjoyable and intuitive app. In the previous version (pre mid November 2023) practice tunes had both the tab’s and chord names which made finding the right fingering much easier as I learned. The update has taken these tab’s from the main view and replaced them with tiny and hard to read letters for each chord, making it both harder for slow learners like me to position my fingers right as I need to remember the finger placement for the chord much earlier in the learning process. The tiny and hard to read letters for the chords are also really hard to read even with my glasses. So, please can we have the old format back, or maybe an option to switch between the old and new formats?.Version: 6.4.0

Broke after updatingWas loving this app until the latest update. I opened the app to do my lessons for the day and it acts like I don’t have a subscription anymore. I bought an annual subscription not through the app and now it wants me to buy one through the app. I can access my account on the fender website just fine but the app won’t. I tried the restore purchase link but it does nothing. Will leave this one star until it gets restored. Update It has been fixed.Version: 6.0.2

Great for BeginnersI have really enjoyed learning the guitar using this app. It teaches you the basics and gives you positive reinforcement. My only gripe with the app (as a beginner) is that, for me, there is an occasional difficulty spike. For example, I felt that the lesson that focused around switching between the G and C chord required more tips on how to achieve both speed and accuracy, rather than just trying to play to the speed of the metronome. I also feel like there should be more “paths” to choose from. Overall great value for money, and would recommend to those who are seeking to learn but don’t have time for face-to-face lessons..Version: 2.12.2

SuperbI’ve been pottering around with chords for years and never got anywhere. This app is superb. Within a week I have learned so much about position, posture. They have really got the recipe right in this app. The lessons are practical and because there is a range of tutors you don’t get bored. I am truly amazed at how good this app is. Well worth the subscription fee too..Version: 3.0.0

Lovin’ Fender PlayG’day, I am 50+, found guitar late in life. Fender Play makes learning so easy and convenient. When you don’t feel like a lesson, just grab a song and play while the family sleeps. Something special about playing the guitar when you get a song down pat the first time. You know it would be great if you could buy the sheet music of the song chord charts, because I don’t have a tablet or IPad. Trying to play and scroll is a bits hard. Oh yeh, your teachers have good interaction with the camera. As you can see, I am a fan. I would recommend and have more than once. Throw in a couple Waylon Jennings songs Cheers, Seano Australia.Version: 2.16.0

Only just startedBeen a day and I’m getting a lot better wen I started I didn’t even know how to play the guitar.Version: 1.8.4

L plateIf you’re a complete beginner I totally recommend this.Version: 2.16.0

AmazingOne week in and I’ve mastered a few chords without looking, riffs, techniques and learnt about warm ups and stretching. Even play a few basic tunes. This is gold.Version: v2.4.1

Amazing to build confidenceJust got my first guitar for Christmas, I have never played before. This app has been a huge help. I was a bit sceptical to pay the money, but it was very much well with the price. The app feels like it starts slow (even for a beginner) but it builds your skills slowly, but your confidence quickly to stick with it and not get discouraged. No searching through you tube, this app has a great flow to put you gradually through all the right steps. The only thing that’s disappointing is I’m in Canada and do not get the 10% off Fender products. The extra 10% would lead me to buying a Fender for my next guitar would be great to see it opened to Canada too!.Version: 2.16.0

Highly recommendGreat step by step easy to underst.Version: 3.5.0

Making it easier to follow alongI recently bought my 1st guitar a squire strat fender, I love almost everything about this app. Only thing is when the instructor is telling playing music with us we have to listen to them tell us to switch vs reading the chords. It’s extremely hard playing my guitar and the instructor playing his and trying to listen to his voice for the change. We should be able to read them music as we are playing not just hear the instructor. Maybe adding the chords to the bottom on the video so it is much easier keeping up and following along..Version: 1.4.4

Do the right thing!I wanted to give an update that I was contacted by a Fender and they did do the right thing and I got my membership back +6 months so thank you Fender! I purchased an annual membership back in October. I’ve used it since then and then all of a sudden they lost my account my email no longer shows up in their System so halfway through my subscription I no longer have access. I emailed them the receipt and proof I have a subscription but they’re like oh we can’t find your email so you’re out of luck. When I ask for to cancel there’s still gonna keep my money for a subscription I can’t use! This is so disappointing because I was really enjoying it😟 They need to do the right thing and create an account for at least six months so I can get my moneys worth. Again this is very disappointing I was really enjoying the app and I was learning how to play the guitar but this kind of service they just don’t even seem to care..Version: 3.2

Great App for budding intermediate guitaristStarted playing guitar at the beginning of Covid. I haven’t put it down since. This is my second ‘self taught’ app I’ve used and I feel like this is progressing my skills and ability to the next level. Pros: - Video instruction for virtually every type of lesson, song, etc. This was huge for me and helped me grasp concepts and figure placements much quicker). - Logical and robust course design with real world considerations. Lessons aren’t limited to guitar technique. Courses range from music reading, knowing your guitar, theory, amp and tone, and so much more. Basically everything you need to become a competent guitarist (at least from my understanding as to what that is at this stage in the game...lol). - Along w/ Video instruction there you can view preset tones for a given song or lesson, tabs, chord diagrams, and effect playback speed. Cons: - Lots of content but not a good way to organize what’s relevant outside of the course structure. (For Developers/UX designers PLEASE SEE SUGGESTION below) Suggestions: - Develop a way for a user to organize content relevant to him or her. Right now you can ‘Love’ a piece of content and it’s saved in your favorites in the order of when you ‘Loved’ a particular piece of content. This becomes next to useless the more items you have tracked (I.e. various lessons, songs, etc.) It would be BETTER if you could create folders or some type of personalized lesson plan..Version: 3.0.0

Really enjoying it so farI’ve only been playing for about a week but love the breakdowns and the short easy to follow lessons. So far so good, long may it continue. At present they also have a beta mode which is listening to the instrument whilst you play - Good luck devs, the app has been great and I’m sure you are going to make it even better!.Version: 4.3.0

Learning ukulele at 23 :)This app honestly is making the process so nice and fun.Version: 2.19.0

Bite-size lessonsIt's easy to follow, with clear video instructions & tabs. Amazing practice video with background rythm to play along. Would recommend Fender Play..Version: 2.19.0

Love it!!Teaching in a style that gives you the feeling of achievement while keeping you interested. Loving the riffs.. Love your work fender and thank you 🤘.Version: 4.3.0

Got sign out automaticallyIt was going well as I reached half a way of level two while using suddenly got sign out of the app try to login again I can’t get through says error. I’m on a year subscription. Please can you fix it...Version: 2.12.1

A complete guitar systemWhat a fantastic addition for ANY guitarist at ANY level, Fender Play has YOU covered..Version: 2.15.0

Fender appThis is a Really good app, great tutorials which has got me back to enjoying playing again after I broke my left hand. The bite size clips helped grow my existing knowledge, whilst the exercises helped build strength back into my fingers and hand. There is a good variation of tutors and styles for everybody and the app helps monitor progression. It’s also great to be able to come back to the lesson at the same point where you left it..Version: 2.6

Fender PlayI am finding this App really useful. There is a choice of instrument settings and different styles of music to learn from. You can even set the level of what to learn. Some of the lessons cover rhythm guitar play and some useful riffs. Everything is explained clearly and there are videos of tutors above TAB sheets showing what string to play and when. I am still on my trial but after, it costs £9.99 a month which is great value. There is also another App available to help tune your instrument..Version: 2.20.1

A new guitarists dreamI am 50 years old and picked up the guitar for the first time a couple weeks ago, I have had two lessons with my new guitar teacher but that is only an hour a week ( costs a fortune) so looked on line fo some more help, I was then recommended Fender Play and as I bought a new Fender guitar I thought why not it’s only £9.99 a month and I can use it anytime. God I’m so glad I took the plunge,Fender play takes you from the very beginning to more advanced at your own pace and the tutors are patient as you can go back and forward as many times as you like and there will be no sighs or eye rolls if you can’t quite get it. I have chose the Rock path and acoustic as my starting point but there are many other paths you can take to suit yourself. I am loving Fender play and know it will be with me for years as I (slowly) improve. Take the plunge don’t wait or let others put you off finding the guitar and playing is the one thing I wish I had done decades ago..Version: 2.0

Really helpful!!I am a beginner, playing the acoustic guitar and I found that “Fender Play” really helped me learn and gather knowledge that would be forgotten if I wasn’t taught slowly and consistently. Fender play is suitable for all abilities and has really helped me!.Version: 1.8.4

Super great app for people of all skills! So I would consider myself an intermediate player and I got a card for this app that came with my Fender Acoustic. So i decided to try it and it’s absolutely amazing! I didn’t think I could learn so many recognizable riffs in just a couple hours. My only real complaint though is the feedback mode. It’s a great system but it only works once and I have to close out the app to get it to work, which is a bit annoying. Overall, great app to learn not just guitar but music theory, and i know bass and ukelele is in there too! ez 5 stars.Version: 5.7.1

Fantastic course for beginners ...Have been a bit sceptical about buying on line courses in the past ... but for a ‘blind beginner’ this course is excellent ...!!!! I used to drum in a band at collage (and strum a few chords on a guitar)... but the Bass has always interesting to me . This course ( so far) has put real structures to my ‘self taught’ Radom playing ....and as a bonus it teaches you to read music (tablature) so gives you a really good grounding to help you move forward .. The one (constructive ) criticism I have, is of the teaching staff ‘make up’/ profile and music style content..... I signed up for funk / Bass course Fender bass staff are ALL white /probably middle class / probably of “Rock music” orientation and probably 50% women ....!!! And the choice of music they play on the course is much more of a mid American rock bias - certainly NOT classic funk as advertising suggests.... my point is; based on the demographic of the style of music that is played, ( in the world of professional funk bass players) Fender staff is in no way representing the genre properly imo. I must stress : This is a minor detail at beginners level !! But I think it would be difficult for Fender to be LESS representative of the ‘bass player demographic’ if they tried ...! In terms of both staff AND music content ... But all that said , this app is an essential tool for beginner online learning ....! Well done Fender !!!.Version: 2.15.0

Great appEasy to use, well organised, and keeps me learning & practicing.Version: 2.12.1

Brilliant app!Brilliant! app the only thing I wish that you wouldn’t have to do is buy a subscription to start using the app but it doesn’t lose any stars because of that absolutely fabulous app Definitely recommend!.Version: 4.1.0

Great step by step learningGreat and interactive learning that keeps you interested and looking forward to the next step. Easy to follow. And the instructors come across very likeable..Version: 2.19.0

What Notes Am I Playing?I’d love to see the option to switch between notes on the strings to TAB, but it appears Fender forces TAB only. How can I become a musician if I don’t know what notes I’m playing (rhetorical question).Version: 4.16.0

Great App - Excellent supportI’m just learning - never played guitar before - and this app has given me a very good start. The video lessons are clear and easy to follow , but it does help if you can capture the streams (use a video stream capture app on your laptop) so you can isolate segments of the videos and replay and study more closely on QuickTime . I first gave it a four star rating because I had trouble getting in touch with support (I may have made a mistake entering my email address in the web form) but I’m upgrading my four star rating to FIVE big stars - because the support team is excellent ..Version: 1.2.1

Left handed playWill this app be able to teach me to play left handed guitar?.Version: 2.16.0

Always wanted to play the guitar now I canSo I bought a guitar last year and tried to teach myself how to play it online however surprise surprise, it didn’t exactly work. I learnt some of the basics but but struggled with finger placement and chords. I felt like I wasn’t progressing. Now with fender play I’m already learning songs and my playing sounds much clearer and bolder. The app is also giving me a firm knowledge of the instrument, string types, chords, sheet music and how to get set up. Honestly I love this app and I haven’t been able to separate with my guitar for weeks now..Version: 2.9.3

Great fun but lacking TabsThis app is great fun to learn the guitar but what I find a weakness in comparison to other learning apps is that there are no tabs for the songs you are learning so it is hard to learn a song just by repeating what the video shows. After having seen the video it would be helpful to practice with some written down tabs and lyrics to the songs. Another thing is that the app does not listen back to what you are playing- it would be great to have a practice mode in which the app listens back. Allover I don’t know whether I will subscribe after the 14 day trial or switch to another App..Version: 2.2

Great all the way aroundAfter trying many online programs and not being impressed I was a little skeptical. I thought for the price, it would be low risk to try. I have to say I’m impressed. I have been playing for years off and on but have not played in a few years. I started at the beginning which is geared for absolute beginners. Everything is explained and visual examples in the video on how to play in each lesson. The warm up exercises are are great also. There are a few things I learned that I did not get in earlier lessons. It’s definitely worth checking out..Version: 2.19.0

It works.I’ve been dabbling on and off with the guitar for years, never really making much progress and eventually shelving it. Again. Within the first five lessons I’d picked up on the main thing that’s been holding me back: thumb position. Previously I’d been gripping the neck like a barbell and that lesson alone was worth the first months’ subscription. No book, app or teacher I’d used before had ever mentioned the thumb. Give it a go..Version: 2.1

Started off good but then...Was enjoying this as a complete new beginner. Then for some reason the app refreshed and told me I was doing level 16 rather than level 9 and told me I had to play an old fashioned song with only one lesson which didn’t break down the song at the right pace. Deleted the app and will be trying justin guitar after seeing amazing reviews for him! Did message the company to explain and they replied to be fair to them. But this app wasn’t suitable for me as a complete beginner as the one activity was too hard and crushed my confidence. Maybe it’s better for more advanced guitarist?.Version: 2.19.0

Login Problems & Subscription ProblemIn all it’s a great app, when it lets you log in. I finally decided to get a subscription so I choose plan. Got a message stating that signing up for the subscription was successful. Next window pops up asking to choose a plan or sign in. So each time I signed in It kept displaying the message, Choose a plan. And I check my subscription list in my settings and it shows up as currently subscribed to Fender play. I already contacted customer support and I have yet to hear back. The four stars are for when it works and let’s you sign in. When it was free it worked very well. So if it’s ok with Fender let go back to the free trial at least then it let me login..Version: 4.10.0

Awesome app!First time I’ve ever been consistent with my guitar playing. Love the instructors. They make the training enjoyable and it feels very personal.Version: 3.5.0

Fender playEnjoying this so far, lessons seem to be well structured and I like the way each session rounds off with a song so you feel you are making progress, and when weighed up with what one on one lessons would cost not bad value.Version: 5.8.0

First time ukulele and electric guitarFender play app; bringing out the best of lockdown. The collision of my fortieth birthday and covid kind of put a dampener on things. But with this app I’ve learnt how to play the ukulele and the electric guitar. In a couple of months I got comfy playing the ukulele, nailing happy birthday and bad moon rising. So I splashed out and bought an Epiphone Les Paul 1950’s and a fender mustang GTX 100amp. I have to complement fender on how well they’ve enhanced learning how to use the modelling amp and play different tunes. For the guitar songs they’ve broken them down really nicely. I’d recommend all apologies by Nirvana. Great work Fender! What I’d like enhancing in the app. Larger numbers on the cords for the iPhone. Direction arrows for the strumming. Fender introduce this app to keep people interested after buying a guitar and it’s nothing less then motivating and helpful..Version: 2.12.3

Well played FenderLike a lot of people, I was is inspired to return to learning guitar ( my previous attempt had me learn some very basic songs and riffs) during lockdown and I have to applaud Fender for helping me do that. I really like the “paths” that are set out and ability to easily interchange between them. Lessons are well laid out and there is a good pace, I don’t feel like they ramp up too quickly or slowly (the latter is equally important in my opinion) Although most of the content I have covered so far are skills I feel comfortable with, their have definitely been a number of tips, trick and techniques that the revision has definitely made worth it. My one concern at this point is what’s next? After the 5 stage plan then what? I get this app is primarily aimed at beginners but it would be good to see some some form of structure for when you complete levels 1-5. From a very quick glance it looks like there is solid content on the app, but whether there is an easy way to navigate through it in an helpful order I’m not so sure. Otherwise great app. Really enjoying it thus far.Version: 2.14.2

Fantastic AppI have attempted to play guitar numerous time over the last 25 years or so and have made more progress in a week than I have in all other previous attempts. Well worth the subscription cost..Version: 2.19.0

Another RequestI’m enjoying the app; however, it is difficult to follow the tabs, even on my iPad Pro, because the video takes more than half the screen. Online, via the website, when you scroll up on the tags, the video minimizes and gives you a larger view of the tabs, which makes following along so much better. How is it that the online version has more features than the app? Also, it sure would be nice if the tabs were synchronized with the video, at least then I wouldn’t need to try scrolling as much. That being said - my fingers hurt, so I must be doing something right..Version: v2.4.1

Crap! Pure crap!Same issue as last reviewer! I also can’t log in takes my details but doesn’t let me get past stage 2 of login on the blue screen says you have subscribed but won’t let you in to the app You put your log in details in press submit and it take you two step two and that it can not go no further , you click subscribe and it doesn’t take you into the app Pure frustrating , badly written app And from a company as big as fender too! What a farce! Terrible, whoever has written this app and created it need firing ! It’s the biggest let down on Apple’s app site Don’t bother buying this it will just frustrate you and make you angry Plus at £8.99 it’s an expense that’s is to much for the aggravation you receive Stay away people and save your money It’s a poor show by fender.Version: 1.2.1

It works well for meI started to learn the guitar as a kid, life got in the way and now in my 50’s I’ve gone back to learning. In between I did learn the ukulele, banjo and a bit of the balalaika. Fender play has been a breath of fresh air, I take regular breaks and spend a few nights practicing before moving on. Lessons are clear, easy to follow and at the pace I set. Very pleased so far with my progress..Version: 2.6.7

I love FenderWoW.Version: 2.19.0

MetallicaAny possibility we can get some metallica within the next few months please??.Version: 3.5.0

Loving it.It is such a great way to learn to play guitar. I am 70 years old, and it’s always been on my bucket list, to be able to play guitar. I know I’ll never be able to be a really good player, but will be happy if I can learn to strum. I am a widow, and I think it the guitar will be a great companion for me. Thanks Fender and all its tutors. 😻.Version: 4.10.0

Good for beginnersGreat for beginners for a few months or so. Intermediate and advanced players should seek out courses that focus more on music theory and technique..Version: 5.7.0

COVID FunThis is so easy and fun to learn the guitar with this App. Great way to pass COVID..Version: 2.20.3

ThanksFender play has helped me and my dad to learn guitar.Version: 2.9.0

Bought a subscription but stuck in select a plan screen - editI recently purchased the annual subscription for Fender Play. However, whenever I go back to the app, it tells me to choose a subscription and won’t let me go further. After clicking, again, the annual subscription a message pops up saying: “You are currently subscribed to this”. Edit: took time to get the subscription but eventually it worked. App works great, and as a beginner, it is quite helpful. Will update when I am further into the program..Version: 4.3.0

HelpWon’t put me past the loading screen put on my subscription package and everything.Version: 2.10.1

Brilliant appI don’t often write reviews but I just had to for this app. I have struggled through lessons, used books and tried other apps but Fender is the first where I have made some real progress in my skills and ability to play guitar. Fender obviously have put a lot of thought and effort into delivering a very good mix of building knowledge, skills and keeping you interested to stick with their course to allow you to achieve the level of playing guitar that you want to achieve, at your own pace. Lesson length is great, so you can sneak in some practice throughout the day even when busy. App layout is,good, easy to use, simple to navigate. Scaffolding knowledge for easier retention. Highly recommended for beginners and more proficient players..Version: 2.16.0

Love it!It starts very basic and I need that. If you’ve never held or even tuned an instrument, try this! It’s been an incredible tool..Version: 2.16.0

AmazingI’ve gone from knowing absolutely nothing about guitars and how to play them to being able to play a couple of my favourite songs. Fender has got me doing this in just 4 weeks. And that’s only a few times a week. The levels it has and the In depth videos are second to none and a real help..Version: 1.8.0

It’s a short course to the top if you wanna rock n rollGenuinely thought the adverts I had seen were making it seem a bit too easy, however you will genuinely be rockin some riffs on your first day! Brilliantly set out courses make progression seem natural and not a chore. Highly recommended.Version: 2.11.4

Surreal and Awesome! Its a surreal experience! Feeling as if the instructor is truly sitting in the room with you. I really appreciate the abillity to go back to the basics and remind myself the core rules/lessons. Being able to search for a specific song, chord, etc.. Is awesome! Knowing the lesson is being given by a well vetted individual, TRULY ROCKS! Making a very efficient use of my time. I have not used the sound downloads as I do not have an electric guitar. I highly look forward to the day I have a GT series amp. and an electric guitar! The Fender Tune App is by far the best Ive used, and is extrememly helpful! I have thoroughly enjoyed my time even with an entry level acoustic. Thank You FENDER!!!.Version: 6.1.0

Born to play lead....Love it, wish I’d started 35 years ago! Give me a solid 5-6 years and I’ll play in that covers band I always wanted!!!.Version: 2.2

Super good!Super good and easy to follow. It would be cool if you could set multiple genres at once and if there was a thing so you could view the chords you can do? And so it could recommend songs based off that. It would also be handy if there was a tuner on it so you don’t have to download the fender tune app. I would deffo recommend to anyone who plays guitar!.Version: 6.1.0

Great for re-learningIt would be better if you could see the written music as well as listening and seeing. It would make it easier to practice and learn the chord sequence..Version: 1.8.0

Thank you! Fender play. From the onset let me extend my apologies for any grammatical errors that make the reading of his review 😁 The fender play app has allowed me to pursue a life’s ambition of learning to play the guitar by permitting in-home training at a pace and schedule that fits into the craziness that is home life. One of the greatest benefits of the training stems from the requirement to take a few moments out of each crazy day of thing called life and focus on myself ( not something I am good at ). The lessons are not only helping me learn to play also develop a greater level of “Mindfulness” and innermost peace, if put for the briefest moment 🤦‍♂️ Thank you Fender.Version: 4.0.1

Well thought outReally loving coming back to the guitar and actually learning fundamentals in a fun easy to follow format.Version: 4.5.0

Love it, but can you add 7-String lessons as wellThis app has help me move from playing in private to not being embarrassed at all to play in front of people (on bass and guitar). All in the span of two years. I now have my kids using it, and I love being able to switch paths easily and learning the songs, which helps me write my own songs. Will there ever be a 5-String bass and 7-String guitar lesson added? I have a 5-String bass and learned through experimenting how to incorporate the B string. I plan on getting a 7-String guitar, and it would be great to have pros show me, to avoid experimenting. Would take nothing away from the app, here’s an extra ⭐️.Version: 3.4.0

Amazing teachersHelped me come a long way.Version: 2.11.3

WOWI’ve been using this app for about 30 days. It is amazing, I’ve learnt so much! I’m also really enjoying it Thank you so much for putting this together it’s like food for my brain every time I open the app and start learning 🌻🥦🥕🎼🎸.Version: 4.4.0

Great app, great learning materialsI don’t write reviews often but this app made me want to do it. As a software engineer by day, I have to say that this app is well made and it’s so rare to see a non-tech companies having really good and easy to use mobile apps. Bravo, Fender Play team! As a beginner guitar player, I love lessons the app provides, they give you structured knowledge that you can transform into skills with great practice modes following the lessons. The process of learning guitar is so enjoyable with Fender Play. Additionally to that I really love their live streams which help you to immerse yourself into the world of guitar playing..Version: 5.1.0

Just started itSo it looks good. I am a new to the guitar and I’m am excited about learning. This ap seems like it’s made to accommodate even the slowest learners. Some improvement, I use this app on my phone and in practice mode the screen doesn’t turn sideways. This is a hide problem because the music sheet is small and harder to read. Rotate it so it’s mandatory and let the music sheet run across the screen (from right to left). Have a stationary colored bar align with the notes you’re suppose to play when you’re suppose to play them. Please add an option where I can play with the song so I know what I’m suppose to sound like. It could be a simple switch. Either play with or without the music. Thank you for the app..Version: 2.12.2

Great app for total beginnerI’m a complete beginner, I’ve tried a few app’s, and this is the best of them all!.Version: 2.14.8

Excellent AppThe Fender Play app is extremely well made and organized. I decided to pick up guitar during the lockdown and this app has lessons that are a good size where you feel meaningful progress can be made while still being able to pause whenever you like. The video instructions are quite well done. Being able to review previous videos and training material is a great plus. The app also seems to offer plenty of tutorials on how to play songs. I haven’t spent much time on those since I still a beginner but they seem equally well done as the rest of the app..Version: 2.12.3

Learning guitarVery good training for me…older person with lots to be learned!!.Version: 4.3.0

Excellent app, so far so goodI am brand new to guitar. So far I like this app. It is what I needed — lesson plans that start from zero and progress rapidly. How I use it is on my Apple TV using the airplay option. That, however, doesn’t work for the audio only practices. So I need to disable airplay in order to get the audio out on my phone. Given these lessons are also available on the Fender website, I can imagine making an Apple TV app for very minimal effort (if you need help, reach out to me :-). I know market analysis will tell you only a small fraction of users do it this way but those of us on Apple TV would be forever grateful and I promise it can be done in one day (including App Store submission)..Version: 2.19.0

Great appIt is a great app. I find it takes you at a nicer more challenging pace than similar guitar apps whilst not babying you too much. My only complaint is when you do a song task the chord chart doesn’t move down with the barometer ticking so I find myself forgetting which chord to play when and for how long. Don’t let that put you off - May be easier using the pc version if you too struggle with this. Just don’t give up if you find you’re stumbling over your fingers at first, I promise you’ll get better!.Version: 2.11.3

At last!!!This has been the first time I have ever had any success learning to play guitar! I have tried several times to learn with no real development. This app breaks down every element of learning the guitar from each individual part of the guitar to complex songs!.Version: 4.3.0

GoodDon’t need premium too much (haven’t found premium thing yet).😎🤩🥳.Version: 4.3.0

Awesome appThis is an awesome app! We bought a guitar for my son for Christmas, his guitar came with three months free lessons with this app. We started yesterday, it’s so easy to understand and follow. No getting frustrated because they advance too fast. The lessons are broken down into bite size pieces, followed by a round of practicing what you just learned. They make it exciting enough by throwing you some new techniques so you don’t get bored. I’m highly enjoying learning guitar with him and this is THE perfect app to use (I also highly suggest getting their tuner app, works great).Version: 4.3.0

HelpfulI have learned some good things.Version: 4.15.0

Rewarding but flawedI’ve been learning for about 2 weeks from the app and I’ve been getting quite annoyed by the videos themselves. They’re unresponsive at time when trying to rewind, pause or to even access the video controls. And that when the video controls are up, the block the chord progressions. It makes it worse that you can’t pause the video without blocking the progressions. I’ve also been having trouble with the app loading up, but none of the content appearing, and only for it to crash when tapping the “levels button.” Other than these specific annoyances the information is remarkably good. You learn with a mixture of slow exercises to then utilize them in songs. All while practicing various other things.Version: 2.6.4

Days 3 on the app and 14 days free trialsWoahh!! These guys are doing their best to explain which go where and why they doing it. This is got to be the best app to learn guitar lesson so far. I am personally going to get into a membership for real after I am done with the trials. I can see my skill is improving within 3 days. The application itself is easy to browse through. I'm now 22 years old, got my first guitar around 10 years ago never thought I would have enjoyed this and thank you for hard work you guys put into this!.Version: 2.11.3

Fender PlayThis course is perfectly designed for me, the short tutorials plus practice then feedback make learning guitar less daunting, and therefore builds confidence. It neatly stitches the music theory to the practical. I had the Gibson app for a year prior to Fender Play and I found I was just learning a series of songs without really knowing what I was doing. I am just completing level 3, I’m practicing more and loving my guitar life ..Version: 5.8.0

Great starter app.You can’t go wrong subscribing to Fender play. It’s a good app to start and learn the good habits. Once you get the basics you can move on to bigger things... It would be nice to be offered (and possibly a sales insensitive) 12 months for free after spending big bucks on a new Strat!....Version: 2.6.4

Incredible for BeginnersJust started learning guitar for the first time and this app gives it us a clear and easy to follow structure. All you have to do is go through the lessons and practice sessions and you’ll see improvements within days. I started a week ago and can already play a couple small riffs and songs. Really love it and will continue paying for the membership. Thanks Fender!!.Version: 2.11.3

Old guy trying to learn to playFender Play has been the BEST instruction for someone like me in my mid to late 50’s trying to learn to play guitar. I have had fender play just over a year now and it’s been great being able to repeat or move on if I feel ready or even sometimes just feeling I need to move on to do something new. My fingers aren’t the best in transition, but I can tell that I have gotten better in the last year by quite a bit. I’m just still very raw I guess due to my age and never having played before. I love the instructors throughout all the levels and I love that all the lessons are like quick hitters and then you practice and then they teach you a riff from so many different songs. I just hope I can see this through and actually be playing someday even this late in my life..Version: 4.7.0

Found what works for me!I’ve been trying to learn the guitar for a while now, using various apps and YT videos, but none compare to the Fender Play app. I’ve been using it for a week, and I see so much progress compared to the other methods I’ve been trying. Really glad to be able to try it for 2 weeks before committing with an annual payment. Will definitely buy now! Thanks heaps to the team!.Version: 2.5

Telecaster new found loveReally enjoying learning new songs from fender play after my purchase of a fender telecaster guitar, love it, all the best Chris Darby.Version: 2.14.8

Hard work but worth itI'm learning the acoustic guitar for the second time round. First time i gave in too easy after having trouble swapping between chords. This time I am determined to stick with it and I've already got a bit better. Fender Play is perfect for me because between work, family and the hundred other things that demand my time, my practice time is limited. Fender Play lets me learn at my own pace, whenever i can spare half an hour and the tutors are great. Ive already signed up for the year and I'm determined to stick with it. Well worth the subscription..Version: 2.16.0

Excellent. The app is great and easy to navigate.Easy to stay motivated and feel like I am making progress because of the variety of lessons, instructors, riffs and songs. Excellent and easy to navigate through and professionally presented..Version: 1.8.4

Brilliant!I’ve tried personal lessons before and they haven’t worked. I’ve made more progress in the last 6 months than the previous 6 years. Wish I’d found Fender Play years ago, what a great tuition tool. Sign up, you won’t regret it!.Version: 2.14.5

Almost great for beginners except......On the while I am really enjoying this app. As a total beginner in his 50's I find the pacing to excellent, the tutors doing a great job explaining things on a basic and details level. My only real gripe is that I cannot adjust increase the text size and page tempreture on the practace pages..Version: 3.3

Easy to follow!I love this app. Professionally done and easy to follow. I’ve had lessons before but I’m enjoying staring from the beginning again and getting rid of some bad habits. :).Version: 2.11.0

First timerFor as long as I can remember I’ve never even picked a guitar up let alone tried to play it. Over the last few weeks I’ve been loving the lessons provided by Fender, they’ve really taken online/app based learning to another level. I find the layout great and the instructors really do make you feel at ease. Great job Fender! One small thing to improve on which is slightly annoying. When learning on an iPhone and I have it on its side (landscape) to get the full screen, once the lesson finishes and it prompts you to press for the next lesson, the screen goes back to the small image (as if you looking at it in portrait) by itself and if you press the icon to enlarge the image again it turns it to landscape but it always rotates the video anti-clockwise regardless if you have it sitting clockwise. I then have to pick the phone up and keep turning it up till it sorts itself out and turns the rite way. Like I say a small slightly irritating problem but to put it in perspective with what’s going on in the world I’m sure I will get over it. (Just) 👍.Version: 2.14.4

I’ve been looking for a way backThrough this app, Fender has made it possible for me to re-learn how to play guitar and bass. I enjoyed playing so much throughout my teens and early twenties, then real life hit hard. Being a parent, undergrad/grad school, and working full time has taken away so much of my free time, but now I can have my lessons without having to travel. Moreover, I can dedicate at least an hour a day to practice now, and I have an extra incentive to practice with the weekly prize drawings. This experience brings a lot of missed fun back into my day. Thank you Fender!.Version: 3.8.0

A W E S O M E!!Top app! Very user friendly! Love it, love it! Thank team Fender! Matt Lake and the crew thanks for being great teachers!!.Version: 3.1.0

Barre chordsGreat tutor.Version: 4.16.0

It is the worst app everIt sucks so much because it forced me to give it 5 star.Version: 5.0.2

Amazing3rd time I’ve tried to learn and this app has got it nailed. Onward..Version: 4.15.2

Best instructional appFender play is incredible. I am a new guitar playing and I am finding this app so easy to use and the explanations are clear and precise. I highly recommend this app to any new guitar player. Well worth the money.Version: 2.6.3

The definitive online guitar courseI started to learn guitar during lockdown trying a number of different apps. Some of those apps were really helpful but when it came down to it nothing beats Fender Play for it’s easy to follow lessons. I’ve progressed so much and really enjoying it. Still not past level 4 yet, so lots to learn still. Well worth trying out the different tracks too as there are different techniques. I started with Country playing acoustic but now switch between country, rock and pop. I’ve also added an electric guitar to my collection to try out even more stuff. Not tried the Blues path yet, but I do go through the song collections to try playing my favourites. I’ve not put my guitar down, I play everyday from as little as 10 minutes to a few hours. Overall I’m very pleased with the app, it’s great value for money. I also love being able to download tones to my Fender GTX 100 amp..Version: 2.14.7

An amazing app that helps you master the guitarFender Play is a very helpful app and it helped me learn how to do everything from tuning and starting to learn more about my guitar to being able to play chords and riffs. I still have a long way to go to try and master the guitar but I feel like I can accomplish it with the Fender Play app. The only thing I would change is adding a lot more songs, because some of the songs from bands I like aren’t on the app and I would like them to be songs to learn, but other from that it is a great app and I completely recommend it to people who want to start learning guitar, bass, or ukulele..Version: 2.9.0

Problem/bug and now I can’t practiseThis was working well for a week or so. Now my ‘path’ is stuck on a random path I didn’t choose. I’ve tried clicking others to change my ‘path’ but it just keeps changing to a random ‘path’. I’ve tried signing out and back in and I’ve deleted the app and downloaded again a few times and still stuck on a random ‘path’, when I want it to be rock electric guitar. I can’t find a way to contact Fender about this so I’m hoping they see this review. Thanks Fender responded and now fixed. Works great again. Thanks.Version: 2.11.3

Good app but could do with a few tweaksI love this app. The lessons are well explained. I love reading along with the music or tablature it I would love it if you could add the feature to shrink the video so you can see more of the written music so you don’t have to quickly scroll down while playing. Or even better than this make the music scroll by its self as we play along. Another nice add on would be to make the music change colour as you play it so beginners don’t get lost on where they are up to..Version: 1.8.4

Good Learning PlatformI have been enjoying Fender Play for some time now. I like the large number and variety of songs and riffs it offers. There are a number of Live programs featuring players who discuss interesting topics related to playing guitar. I also appreciate the inclusion of Bass and Ukulele. I play ukulele, and while I don’t play bass these lessons help me better understand rhythm. Some lessons feature a simplified version of songs. That’s helpful, but I wish the lesson would also include the original version. The teachers do a great job of counting notes to help in playing songs. I do wish there was an option to include notation as well as tablature. While I can easily find songs, I sometimes have difficulty navigating the menu. Finally, Fender Play offers a great way to preview the vast lineup of instruments Fender has to offer. All in all, Fender Play is a very good learning platform..Version: 6.3.1

What’s Not To Love? You get to learn guitar in the comfort of your own home and at your own pace? This is an amazing program! The lessons are in bite sized pieces making it easy to squeeze lessons in whenever you’re able. I love that the lessons work on various parts of guitar playing. My steel strings were tough to get used to, but I finally have healthy callouses and am forging ahead. I’m so happy I discovered Fender lessons via their three month free program offered during shelter in place orders. Nice to create a silver lining during a worldwide pandemic. I especially love the fender community and the note sharing on Facebook!.Version: 2.14.0

Great experienceI really enjoy learning to play with the Fender Play app. The lessons are very helpful and the pace is perfect for learning a new instrument..Version: 2.20.2

Content sizeLoving the short videos, there are straight to the point, makes it easy to learn and practice one thing really well..Version: 1.8.4

Very goodI think the whole image of it is great!! They explain things well and judging from this is the first time I’ve actually wanted to play guitar I’m doing a great job. They explain things aswell and I like how they do it slow and even give you a practice round (you can also change the speed!)..Version: 4.3.0

A must for new guitaristIf you are new to the guitar do not hesitate and get Fender Play. If you are early intermediate do get it. Playing a new instrument does not happen overnight. There are truly no shortcuts and an effort on your part will be required along with lots of patience. At first results are slow, so buckle up. Fender Play will help you get the ball rolling. It will start your journey with basics and offer you material to get satisfaction. To its credit, fender play has many instructors to teach you fundamental techniques and the moment you begin to progress you will lots of songs to play. But, if you are a newbie, remember it all starts with small bites and patience and perseverance. Stick with Fender Play and without doubt you will succeed..Version: 3.4.0

Great app, just one problemI have been using this app to learn the acoustic guitar for about 5 weeks now, I can now confidently play quite a few chords and have started to learn finger picking. I have gone from complete beginner to being able to strum along to my favourite songs in just this time, so thank you!! However the one issue the app has is that when you are in the practise mode after a lesson, the tempo changes do not work. If this is fixed then it will be perfect!.Version: 2.12.0

A really competitive package for 3 instrumentsPerfect regardless of your ability - Well structured lessons with demonstration and practice opportunities throughout. Great songs to practice with too. Guitar, Bass and uke lessons. Hard to beat and I’ve tried a few on line resources - Great feedback even when you’re not playing - Highly recommended.Version: 4.9.0

Patience My FriendThis app is better than you think it could be. Depth and range of app design is so simple, yet enables you to build skill on top of knowledge. Flexible, interrelated lessons which you can repeat and revisit anytime. Go for it..Version: 1.3.1

Love this appI love this app! The tutorials are step by step and demonstrate the strumming of each song which makes it so much easier to learn!! Just wish there were some newer songs on this app as a lot of the songs on the app, I’ve never heard of..Version: 2.9.1

Can be tedious, but worth it.I've been playing the piano for forty+ years and the guitar for twenty five, so the lessons counting and music theory are not that helpful. Eventually, they quit going over the chord shapesbat the beginning of each lesson, which helps too. But I never took lessons, and I have a lot to learn about strumming and alternative chord shapes and the like, and this program is a big help. The incentive system to keep me practicing is also a big help, and since I can skip the lessons on stuff I already know, the repetition is no big deal..Version: 2.11.0

Great place to start!I am completely new to learning an instrument other than the 2 weeks in Jr. high on a sax., so when I was given a Epiphone SG and an amp because I have always been curious to play I was like now what? I started browsing and searching the net and found descent reviews of Fender play and I was familiar with their name of guitars so I tried the trial and after it was over signed up and have been moseying along ever since. I can go at whatever pace I need for the week the hard part is trusting in the method but if you let go and just do the modules it will start to come together. I also got a basic theory book on rock and blues helps set up a practice regiment with Fender play..Version: 4.7.0

Pretty good overall! The feedback button in the app is broken so I guess I’ll leave it here. The practice mode badly needs an option to loop a track infinitely to play along. It’s annoying having to tap it again and again while you are learning a lesson. Otherwise it’s ptr good!.Version: 3.3

Simply: AmazingBravo to the team at Fender for an amazing app. The app is an 11/10. Not only are the lessons small and easily digestible, the instructors provide clear instructions. After only a month of about an hour a day, I am beyond pleased with the gains I’ve made. Hey, my goal is to one day play Rush and do justice to Alex Lifeson’s catalogue... As much as I love the app, there is one thing missing - and it isn’t with the app itself. All that’s missing is an AppleTV version..Version: 2.19.0

Fantastic! After jacking around on a guitar for many years, it’s been great to learn some theory and improve my existing skills. 👍.Version: 4.2.1

Great app so far.The app is very nice to use. It’s nice that I can cast videos to my tv when practicing. Could use some organization in the skills tab (exercises, techniques, etc). Everything’s just kinda thrown in there..Version: 6.0.2

Really Enjoying!!!I’m REALLY enjoying Fender Play so far!.Version: 5.1.0

Fantastic AppI have been using this app for about 4 years now. It is so good in many ways. The amount of songs you can learn, the genres of music such as rock, pop, blues etc. The amount of music bands, soloists is fantastic. Some songs are made easier which is great for beginners. They show technique’s. The different era’s are great as well such as the 60s 70s 80s to modern day..Version: 6.2.1

So far so goodI am not musically inclined, but I always gravitate to the bass line in a song and decided I wanted to give it a go. I bought a cheap and used Ibanez off the internet and tried to teach myself using a scattered approach of watching YouTube videos. 2 years of this approach got me frustrated and nowhere. I came across this Fender app and started from scratch. (Learning the names of the bass parts, components and strings, etc). I’m only 3 weeks in of practicing every other day and I already feel further ahead than 2 years worth of random YouTube videos. The pros who teach the lesson are very good at teaching. It’s very encouraging. Thanks Fender..Version: 4.4.0

FantasticHad lost touch with guitar for over a decade and now, thanks to the Fender Play app, I’m back playing again. I’m finding the variety of lessons and tunes, tips and tricks just brilliant to refresh or learn something new. Easy to use and great for a busy lifestyle. Very reasonably priced too. Thanks so much Fender and Apple for such a quality experience..Version: 2.20.3

I’m really happy! My new Fender gear arrived today! I’m using Fender’s own CD-60s acoustic guitar alongside Fender Play and it’s super easy to follow. I’ve been meaning to learn how to play the guitar for a bit now, but always put it on the back burner, as I was unable to find a tutorial that was accessible. In less than a few hours I have learnt how to hold, tune and place each of the six notes of the guitar - E, B, G, D, A, E, and I can even play the chords for “Down by the riverside.” Although, I’m still working on my finger dexterity with the frets. But that will come in time! I really recommend subscribing to Fender Play, as it is extremely easy to use, and for achieving all that in just a few hours (with no previous guitar experience...), I’m over the moon. Stop searching, start learning!.Version: 1.8.4

The BEST App For Guitar!I have an electric guitar (Fender Squire Strat) and I love it! When you get the starter package, it comes with a 3-month membership card. The lessons are short and straightforward. I only have to pause 1-3 times per video depending on how fast they go (I don’t arch my fingers as well as they do). I haven’t had any trouble. There is a cool mark as done feature just in case you know a lesson or two’s worth of stuff, you can skip it. The app also asks how much knowledge you have. I have ADHD and haven’t been able to put the guitar down! I would rate it ♾/10! Would recommend! Thank you so much Fender!.Version: 3.5.0

From drums to bass in a few easy (and informative) lessons 👍Fist and fore most, I’m a drummer, but after missing out on a few paying gigs because I couldn’t play any other instruments... I picked up the the bass. I figure I would stay with the rhythm section, plus for ever 10 guitar players there’s maybe 1-2 bassist. But I digress ...this fender online class is really informative with easy to follow instructions and instructors that seem to really enjoy the instrument. So for anyone how’s looking for an online instruction class for the beginner or even those who’ve needed to add a little something to their playing, check out this class..Version: 1.8.4

Best place to startGlad I went with Fender Play. I tried a couple other online tutorials and while some are good many of the videos are long even for a basic skill. I like that Fender plays instruction explains what you are doing but also keeps you playing and learning new skills every video. The learning progression is very well thought out, you learn skills that progress to learning a song. You gather the fundamentals then put it all together. It’s great if you wanna do a quick session or have a few hours to learn new techniques..Version: 2.14.8
