UnderwhelmedThe app does what it says, although it seems to have some bugs and glitches. For the price, I would have expected something a little more polished. My biggest concern is with the need to sign up for an account to sync my data. Although this is free, why not just use the sync option built into every iOS device - iCloud. That way I know where my data is. The developer does mention signing up for an account, in the app description - which I missed..Version: 4.1

I did not get a notice that this APP was shutting down.Why didn’t I get a notice that you are shutting down this APP? I have depended on this APP for the last 6 years to help me pay my bills on time. Bills that are due on the 1st of the month do not show up the next month, even if a choose the “once a month” setting. This has been aggravating. However, I’m sorry that you are shutting down the server. Thank you for helping me the last 6 years..Version: 4.4.1

Incorrect Monthly Totals for Past Year graphThis app is expensive for what it offers. I would expect to be able to have a customisable graph for a preferred time span within the app. I find it cumbersome to achieve this that you need to export data to email, then to Numbers or Excel. No totals. You have to do manipulations yourself. Monthly Totals For Past Year was incorrect. I have a bill in June for about $5000. This was not included in this graph however was included in Category Total for Past Year graph and was included in data exported to email in csv file. So there appears to be a problem with monthly totals graph. Unfortunately when I find information generated is incorrect I have trouble trusting the data generated in general. I didn’t see anywhere to contact a help desk so I posted above here. On a positive note the interface is uncluttered and easy to read. Information is easy to input..Version: 4.3.2

Boo Hiss - Ask for a tip, then say servers sync ending?!I have used BillMinder since the beginning, for years, I have everything in here, synced for access across iPhone, iPad, and Mac. I log in today, pop up asks for a tip, I pay it with a smile as it is my go to app as much as email. Then I see a notice in the settings, go there and it says the syncing servers are going offline. No more syncing, only use on one device, what if it fails, gets dropped, whatever, that makes the app worthless to me. You should not ask for tips now that your servers are going offline unless you make it sync in my iCloud account. And if you are planning on that, tell us, so me, and I’m sure many others are not scouring the App Store looking for an alternative!.Version: 4.4.1

Cannot close my accountI recently signed up for this app and no longer need it. I have tried to close/cancel my account but there does not appear to be any way to do this, and there does not appear to be any way to contact the app developers for help with this. My hope is that the app developers will respond to this to follow up on closing my account as there does not appear to be any other way to do this..Version: 4.3.2

DisappointedI have absolutely LOVED your app for many, many years and was excited when the new version came out. However, I’m really missing the large calendar that used to fill most of the iPad screen. Also incorporated into this screen was the ability to touch on a day and then a pop up list of that day’s bills would appear. This was a magnificent feature, I’d really like to see it brought back. I’m actually back to using version 3 due to these features 😢.Version: 4.2.2

HORRIBLE! Update uselessOld app saved & kept track of every payment & I had a few years worth of detailed info for every bill. This “update” saves NOTHING. Keeps no payment history. Each time I record making a payment, it is as if I’ve never made a payment before. I’ve tried getting app assistance & the link takes you to a page w no help at all. A dead end. I am very upset. I lost years worth of records that originally imported & then disappeared & now it saves nothing. I spent hours & hours setting all my bill info up in that app. The new version is USELESS. If someone wants to help me fix this issue, I’d appreciate it bc I’m about to just buy a different one & stop messing w this one. Deserves ZERO stars. EXPENSIVE, ripped offFinally, an update! pretty expesive though - hopefully i won’t need to buy billminder 5 when it comes out next year update: they updated v3 to work on ios11, AFTER a few days of releasing v4, AFTER no updates on v3 for more than 2 years had i known v3 would get updated for ios11, i would not have bought this. i feel very very ripped off. What Happened???I’ve used this app for years, but for some reason I started not paying some bills on time. So over Christmas break I completely reviewed the app and figured out that the repeats for ever tab isn’t working correctly. I’ve gone through every bill and selected no repeat then went back into the bill and selected repeats forever. I’ve reviewed every month and I’m now good until next May, but for some unknown reason it drops some of the bills after that. It’s completely mind boggling how great this app used to be, but now is randomly dropping bills off for no reason. Once this is fixed, I will upgrade back to 5 stars. Until then - good luck and I’ll be looking elsewhere to have a backup plan!!!.Version: 4.2.2

Bogus9/9/22: of all the Bill apps, this one offers the most, however, I got suckered again. The app developer is now shutting down their servers so I dont know if that means they’ll eventually quit updating for new IOS in future. I bought the first BillMinder and it was lazily updated, crashed constantly, and left me feeling cheated. I very hesitantly purchased this version bc it appears they intentionally let one app crash to get you to buy another “updated” version thus stringing you along. This app developer gets one star until they can prove that isn’t the case. I’m hoping I didn’t potentially get suckered AGAIN!.Version: 4.4.1

Want the previous layout back!I panicked tonight when I downloaded iOS11 to my iPad and then couldn’t get into BillMinder! I had no warning the old version would not work on 11 and had not received any notice of the update available on the App Store. I finally found it and debated for a few hours about buying because of other reviews. Finally decided to go ahead and get the new version. Now my biggest complaint - PUT BACK THE OLD LAYOUT! It was great having the bills listed on the left and the large calendar showing daily amounts due on the right. This layout was the main reason I started using this app in the first place! I HAVE NO USE FOR THE CHARTS AND GRAPHS! Get rid of the dashboard or put as optional page to click on! Feel like I just wasted $5 and will probably be looking for a replacement app. Joy.Version: 4.0.2

Will not synch no support offered !!I setup up and entered bills on my iPad and then logged into my account on my iPhone but no data is there synch is not working the app developer has no contact email or number for support looks like I have purchased a dud and been ripped off not happy !!!.Version: 4.1

GlitchingSince January all of my bills have started coming into my app 4 times, and when I go in to delete the extras it removes the bill altogether! I am VERY frustrated and will be looking for a new app if this is not solved quickly. I have been using the app for many years....Version: 4.2.6

Disappointing UpdateUpdated in 2019: I really do not want to give up on this app because this is truly the best bill reminder app I have used for years. But it seems they just can’t get this problem with double bill correctly. Its a PITB to have to manually delete duplicate bills that keep showing up month after month for a handful of bills. And yes, it still crashes! My previous issue below was not solved either, I had to manually delete everything and start from scratch in building my data, again, major PITB!!! It crashes. Repeatedly. I made a backup of my previous data and emailed them to myself, then imported this to the new billminder and every detail has gone bonkers. Even the details on my old billminder are now bonkers. Bills from last year suddenly popped up. I now supposedly have 27 overdue bills. I really wanted this app to work. Even if you had me pay again despite paying for the previous version already. I wanted to give you 5 dollars yet again to give you the benefit of the doubt you will make it right by us, despite leaving us hanging for years already without tech support..Version: 4.2.6

Was a great app once but not anymoreThis app was perfect for what I needed in a bill tracking app - user friendly, accurate, easy to update/edit bills. No frills but definitely beyond adequate. I used it religiously for many years. Unfortunately it looks like the developers have just dropped the ball completely. My bills are suddenly doubling or even quadrupling within the app - for example, my internet bill and car payment both show up 4 times each, making it look like I owe 4 times as much for those bills each month. App also crashes multiple times while using. Sometimes I can apply a payment to 2 or 3 bills before it crashes but other times it crashes after each bill is updated with a payment. These two issues combined make the app virtually unusable. Too bad that I’ll have to go look for something else after all these years..Version: 4.4.0

Lost original app with no warningI’ve been using the original app since 2009 and love, love, love it. I begrudgingly updated my phone to iOS 11 because my bank app wouldn’t work if I didn’t. Went to see what bills I needed to pay and low and behold it is not supported by iOS 11. I have lost 9 years of bill history, not to mention I don’t know what bills are coming due. One reviewer mentioned that by buying the latest version her original version reloaded and updated once the original email and password was entered and she is able to use it. So, I bought the new version and no such luck. I am so sick I can just not put into words. I have even emailed the developer and nothing. Bad business return7. Just bad business..Version: 4.2.2

Issues with iOS 12.0...? I need app support!I looked for a support tool/email in the app and did not find it; therefore, this review. I really like the structure and organization of the app. However, I keep running into the following issues: - Face ID - I can’t open the app when logging back into it after switching to another app. It seems that I have to remove it from the recent apps log for me to login again. This shouldn’t be happening. - Bills disappeared - I added my accounts and monthly bills. The next day, the bills were no longer there. The accounts are still in the app but the recurring bills are not showing at all. - Customer support - I wanted to reach out directly to the developer to address the above issues but there is not contact information in the app or their website for customer support. I kindly request that you please contact me and address the above-mentioned issues as soon as possible. If this can’t be done, please send me a refund for the amount paid at the time I purchased this app. I appreciate your help and look forward to your response..Version: 4.2.2

I HATE this VersionI cannot use my original BillMinder because developers have not updated to the new latest Apple updated software. I had and have overdue bills and has put me in chaos mode, not to mention LATE FEES THAT HAVE OCCURRED!!!!! This current version is not user friendly and it has added steps that are frustrating and in many cases just not necessary. I hate even more so that I cannot view my bill calendar in large screen. Also, if you have multiple bills on one day and do not scroll in the small box they are easy to miss. Simple put, I HATE IT! PLEASE UPDATE THE LATTER VERSION ON APPLE!!!!!!.Version: 4.4.0

Great app comes with great bugsI bought this app because a similar app I’m currently using - Chronicle - doesn’t have any of the neat charting features this app has. However unlike this app, Chronicle is very stable; after only an hour of using this app I have encountered numerous bugs: some I can live with, some are unforgivable. Sadly LackingHaving been a user of BillMinder for many years I was disappointed to see its demise with the introduction of iOS 11. BillMinder was an important part of my daily routine, checking which bills needed to be paid, how I was tracking for the current month etc. BillMinder 4 isn’t a patch of v2/3. I use my iPad for everything, and v4 presentation is extremely information poor. The Dashboard is just a gimmick and should be relegated to page 10. A beautifully designed data rich calendar is what I need, as well as a list of the months upcoming/paid/all with totals..Version: 4.2

Apple keeps losing this review.Ok, for the umpteen time I'm writing this review over, again. The quality of this app just keeps dropping but at least this developer has finally started replying at least to 'other' customers. The iPhone app rarely agrees with the iPad app. Sync'ing is spotty. Over the last two years I have found Billminder to be less and less reliable. Sync'ing with my iPad Air never worked well. My iPad Pro is better but it is poor on my iPhone. NOW I just discovered that Billminder has apparently lost my entire payment history for ALL of my bills. That cuts it. I'm deleting Billminder and looking for an app that I can depend on..Version: 4.2.1

Mixed feelingsI’ve been using BillMinder since it was first released. The new UI is ok and I’m glad we have an update for iOS 11. However, it seems a little unfair to charge us again and remove some of the features that were available in previous versions. Others are complaining about not having passcode even though I prefer Touch ID, but I can understand because Touch ID doesn’t work for everyone. But the feature I used the most was “Send to PocketMoney.” I am at a loss that I’ve repurchased this app and lost this time saving feature that I used to have. Please bring it back..Version: 4.0.2

Rubbish, no support and backup doesn't workSo no buy. If you have BillMinder 3 your data is useless as the backup feature doesn't work. The idea of this app and its predecessor used to be a good app but they really missed the boot on this one..Version: 4.0.1

Good App but...The snapshot is great, but it really doesn’t do anything your phone calendar can’t do. There’s two issues I see. If you pay a partial payment on a recurring bill, for that month it shows the remainder but doesn’t add it to the next month, so your monthly total is not correct. The other issue is when I toggled on the feature to adjust due dates that fall on weekends, it took out ALL of my due dates- it didn’t adjust them, it deleted them! I had to go back in and redo all of the due dates. It was really frustrating, and now I have to manually go in and readjust due dates every month. I don’t think this app was worth the price tag seeing as it’s not really doing what’s promised, and it doesn’t give you a clear picture. For this, I could have used the free built in calendar on my phone. I also don’t like how you can’t add income. This app would be perfect if you could add income and it would show you daily what your balance would be should you pay bills on their due dates, like a running balance..Version: 4.2.2
