✓ Has major problemsHas real problems.I want to record the screen of telegraph. I turn on record if, go to my desktop and open telegram. I then go to the recording that the app made and it is a five minute recording of my phones desktop. This is strange because I was only quickly passing through my desktop (maybe there for 1 second).My phone is displaying telegram, but your app is recording 5 minutes of my desktop which is no longer visible on my screen. I can do this many times and it doesn’t work and then it starts recording the correct screen. This is a real problem. It makes me want to look for a different app to use. You must fix this or you will have a lot of frustrated users going else where..Version: 4.7.3

✓ Some issues...So me being a YouTuber, I need to screen record my videos. I got this app about a year ago and it’s so far great! But, I would like to have my face in the corner of my videos. And it is advertised in a way that made me think I could do face cam. But I was wrong. In the advertisement it said “FACE CAM” but when I use face cam, it’s always me trying to pretend I am playing the game then and there. Because there is no way to pause the screen recording and just talk to the camera. If you don’t know what I mean, I can’t have my face in the corner of the screen right as I’m recording. Please please please fix this, because it’s really frustrating. And I ain’t paying £3.99 a week on another app I have just to be able to have my face in the corner of a video. ✓ Mixed FeelingsPros: * It usually runs efficiently * it’s pretty easy to use * Video files save to my camera roll almost instantly, no matter the video size/length Cons: * When I try and screen record with the mic on, the mic recording will be very quiet and get drowned out by the media sounds (regardless of media/iPad volume and use of mic for commentary). I accidentally discovered that the audio balance will improve if I set an alarm and it goes off while the screen recording is active, but then there will be a couple-second gap between the audio and visual which creates a lot more effort. I recommend using a separate app/program to record commentary to avoid this issue. * It will sometimes stop recording randomly, which has wasted many video opportunities for me :( Overall it works ok, but it has some significant issues which prevent me from recommending this app to anyone else..Version: 4.4.8
✓ RecordIt is Extremely UnreliableRecently it has rarely worked properly for me, and I am talking about the full paid version. It might look like your meeting is being recorded, but you will find out afterward when you close the recording as to whether this was the case or not, when it is too late to fix the problem, and your content is lost. Basically this program is not to be trusted to do what it is supposed to. When it had worked as it should, it is good, but it has failed me far too many times. For most of my recent recordings, it recorded no audio. I can’t trust this garbage piece of software so I am deleting it for good. I have had much better luck using a Windows computer and free recording software, so I am doing that now..Version: 4.5.4

✓ Idk I really Don’t KnowFirst of all I think whoever created this screen recorder should question how good they are. It’s a good screen Recorder but I has some Major Annoyances. For example you could be In the Middle of Recording and It will just stop Screen Recording. Also Multiple times once you finish recording and save the video it won’t save and you can only export videos under 30Mins unless you buy Pro which I find ridiculous considering the fact that sometimes the recording doesn’t even save!.Version: 4.5.2
✓ HmmmOverall, this is a great app for recording, and the adverts aren’t usually tooooo long, however, if you want to record for over 30 minutes, you have to pay for premium! ✓ Audio is behindI’ve used this app for a while now and it has always worked fine with no issues. Many great features such as trimming the video and cropping it. However as of recent attempts to record, the audio is always a second or two behind the visuals. This ruins the video of course. There is another thing that isn’t exactly how I would imagine it should be. However it causes no problems, and can ignored. When I finish a recording, there is always more than one saved. Once I go to “my recordings” to look for what recording I would like to save to my device, it always saves an extra 3 to 5 times. This can be ignored by just deleted the extras. The final issue I have with this app, again not a big deal, but sometimes when you go to “my recordings” and look for your recordings, the image that would show what the video is appears all white. You can still click on the video to see what it is, so it can be ignored, but it does annoy me sometimes..Version: 4.5.2
✓ Not what’s it’s claimed to beThe app is ok. It (kind of) works. Yes it records your screen. Yes it records audio. But there is some false adverting here. It claimed that the recordings are “high quality” they are not. In fact it delivers the exact same quality that apples own screen recorder delivers. It does NOT record in stereo. And the picture is just as grainy as it is when using apples own too. They claim buy the app for all the good features to be unlocked. Iv just wasted my money. Iv been searching for months for a screen recorder app that does record in actual “HD” as it’s stated. And in stereo. Thinking I’d finally found one this app is an utter waste. ✓ Good! But audio is off and you have to pay?!?I just got this app on my phone but I also use it on my iPad and so far it’s pretty nice. It’s not that difficult once you get to know how to use it. When I tried the other record me apps they were pretty difficult to use because there was a lot of controls and it changes a lot of times (ok I’m off topic). When I got this record me app that I’m using on my iPad and phone I wanted to do a video so I did with my mic on and when I stopped the recording I watched the video and I noticed that when I was typing on messages the sound was off and I’m very disappointed about that. The reason why I’m disappointed is that just say I posted a recording video on yt and the audio was off (ofc) but then YouTube’s audio is also bad. Then that would be like 5 times a bad video. ✓ Can’t Use FootageI make speed-art videos, and I since I would be drawing on my iPad (I usually use a drawing tablet) for a long flight, I downloaded this app. It worked well and I had no issues until I came to export the video. You see, I’d usually record my artwork and then speed it up in the editing process, like normal. Unfortunately, a pop-up appeared and said I had pay for Pro as videos over ten minutes couldn’t be exported, or else my video would be stuck in the app. I obviously didn’t want to pay for an app I was only going to use once, so I abandoned ship. Overall, I’m disappointed since the app gave no prior mention to a “Pro” feature nor a warning about 10 minute videos. ✓ Ehh.... a few big issues and ideas.Now I understand this app is a free screen recorder on mobile, but when I record my gameplay footage, it seems very laggy and all over the place, looking like a solid 8 FPS. This issues was even encountered with maximum FPS and bitrate. I don’t know if this is just an issue with me or if it’s common but please fix this. Other than that and a few other minor issues the app is mostly good. I love the features you can add to your video once it’s complete with its own built in video editing software, but maybe you could add an option for text to be added in? This is an idea because it’s found in most other video editing software and can be very useful in the editing process. I don’t want to be a downer, but I really think this app has potential, don't get me wrong. ✓ Sound not syncedIn the beginning the app seemed great. You can record the screen as well as use the microphone at the same time, there is also a face camera. What annoyed me the most was that after about 40 minutes of recording, I found that the sound was not synced with the video. ✓ It’s functional. But there are better!First off. The loading speed is soooo sssslllloooooowwwww. And don’t expect to capture any impromptu action with this app. The app takes forever. Then it shows the main screen for what seems an eternity. This same screen you can’t close or minimize out of until the timer counts down. Even then it isn’t very responsive. Recording wise - it serves its purpose. When saving videos it saves them. It unless your paying attention it doesn’t tell you that they are saved inside the app. NOT inside your photos app. Nor does this app back up in your daily backups. So don’t plan on keeping the videos unless you can and have the time to go one by one and share the files over to your picture folder. Then you have to watch an ad. Which is ok. No complaints there. ✓ Terrible Quality Even After Paying.I’ve used this app for well over 2 years to record my gameplay as well as various online content that I couldn’t save normally. Everything was ok until I realized the footage I was uploading was blurry and I ultimately assumed it was my video editor. Today I realized that it’s in fact the video recorder. I play mobile games and screen record the content, it’s not a graphically challenging game, but I noticed the dip in quality when reading plain text that was recorded, not even the gameplay. ✓ What’s up with this app?So, this app was great at first. I used it to record GMMs, GVMMs, GLMMs, etc. but for a while now, it hasn’t worked. I would finish the scene, and then go to record it. It would count down, then I would record for like 10 seconds, and go out to stop the recording, and it didn’t record anything. It would just freeze up right before it started and not do anything. Or, it would start recording and when I tapped it to start it would just keep recording, so it would hold down on the button so it would show me the options, and I would hit stop recording and NOTHING would happen. So I would close all my tabs and take the recorder out of the control center, then put it back in, nothing. Try everything, nothing. ✓ Fix the countdown!Sometimes I have to wait for the 3 second countdown to finish before my screen starts recording. Numerous times I have tried to record content for my channel, and am spending money for viewer satisfaction, only to find out that it hasn’t started recording, and I’m finding it only happens if I press record and leave the app right away. Works fine if I wait for the countdown though, however it is too late. ✓ Very Limiting FeeSo basically and obviously, I use this app to record gameplay for videos. I’m not a YouTuber, but I do make videos in Gacha Club. I know, I’m cringe, but here’s the thing. I’ve recently found out how to make a face cam thing with my editing software, so as you’d imagine, I’d use it to my FULL advantage. I played bad mobile games, make a reaction in Gacha Club, and edit it together to make the video. The problem is this app apparently doesn’t allow you to export videos to Camera Roll if they’re over 10 minutes. This is TERRIBLE for the one thing I use this app for. Of course, I use VLLO to edit my videos, and I CAN cut and speed up parts of my videos, but I have to export them to camera roll and access them with VLLO to actually do that. And I can’t cut or speed up specific segments of the videos in Record It. This might be good for other people, but not for me, which effects my rating. TL:DR: Record It requires you to pay a fee to export videos over 10 minutes long to other apps..Version: 4.8.1
✓ Good but a couple things need to get fixedSo it is a good app but there is a couple things that annoy me. I thought that you could click the screen record button in the controls center and enable it with like a setting button but you can’t. You have to go into the app to start screen recording. The second thing is that every time I finish recording, I watch what I recorded to make sure everything was good. But when I checked a video that I recorded, the audio didn’t match up with what I was saying. And it was just so annoying. One time I tried to do a face cam video and I checked the video afterwards and I couldn’t hear the video that I was reacting to. ✓ Useless piece of junkI spent forty minutes creating a piece of art for a YouTube video. The app tells me AFTER I attempt to export it that they don’t do videos over half an hour. That was not ideal but alright. The kicker is that when I shortened the video—already losing footage—it decides to “process” the video before exporting. ✓ Screen RecordingI got this app on my ipad because I wanted to record a flight I was doing on a simulator. There weren’t any problems when it was recording until I finished. I looked at it and discovered 2 things. I have a good ipad but the quality was terrible and it was extremely slow. The second problem was that I had to pay money just to text it to someone because it was more than 30 minutes. This let me down but I easily found a much better alternative to sharing it with much better quality. I got the app because I thought the replay in the simulator wouldn’t be as good as an actual screen recorder so I got this app. But I went back and used the replay because it was free to export, the right speed and the quality was the same as when I was flying the plane. ✓ Took Forever to SaveSo right now, I’ve bought this app and I wanted to use it for drawing videos. So I recorded a video about twenty minutes long and went to edit it. First thing I noticed was that I couldn’t save after changing the playback speed, I could only save the editing after I cut a small part out. The next problem was that the process of saving took so long, and I have no idea why. Maybe it was because of the video’s length, but I left it to save for around nine hours, making sure my device stayed on and connected to the charger, and yet, when I came back it still hadn’t saved. So right now, I’m stuck in a loop of issues that make it impossible to finish that video. However, the app is very easy to use and has great video quality..Version: 3.3

I know you need to let people know you’re recording them on the phone, the same way when you call a business , they have an automated disclaimer that states, “This call may be recorded for quality assurance and training purposes.” (per the wire-tap law originally established in California) But I believe that if a company truly violates someone’s rights, or breaches their own contract, they will remove things from what they record. I want an app that allows me to record the true, full, unaltered video and/or phone call conversation for pure transparency and to protect myself and my rights. A company can do it if they let you know, so an individual person can do it if they let you know. Laws are put in place to protect PEOPLE’S rights. Companies don’t have rights. ✓ Recording glitchingI tried this screen recorder to see if it is better than the apple one for my channel (OG-VenomIOS) and it doesn’t crash. I’m so happy that it doesn’t but one problem is that once I finish the recording, the actual recording was glitching. ✓ There’s a VERY annoying bugSo, I’ve used this to record videos on my device, and so far, it’s been great.. until recently. Before the update it was an amazing app that was easy and simple to use. But for some reason, when I record and save it onto my photos, it cuts out/deletes the sound. This is a very annoying problem since about 80 - 95% of videos requires sound to understand what’s going on. I don’t THINK there’s a problem with the microphone since I never use it. ✓ Broken, and lacking the options I needI wish my entire English project didn't depend on this app because it failed me. It can't record audio outside my phone even though I turn mic on, it lacks the ability to crop out the mundane part in the MIDDLE of the video and it cannot even effectively shorten the beginning and end without cutting out parts I need or only cutting a few seconds off. It also lacks sufficient storage space on it of itself as I found out when I redid the recording and fixed through my photos app and when I finished it was deleted and not even saved anywhere. I am very annoyed at the workings of this app and I don't understand why it has to be such a complicated process to simply record my skit on minecraft for English! ✓ Not a free app, recording sometimes freezesI got this app for my iPad pro as an alternative to the native one, as I had been experiencing significant loss of footage in my recordings (i.e. the recording would freeze for seconds at a time). Now I’d like to begin my saying this app works much better, but I still experience occssional cutouts, which can be really annoying and resulted in multiple hours of extra work for me. Even if the devs aren’t able to fix the issue, it would be a significant improvment if I’d get a warning mid-recording that some of the footage was lost, so I can immediately rerecord and edit out the faulty parts. Noticing hours later and having to rerecord then is much much more inconvenient for me. Also, just a heads up: the app isn’t really free, it is listed that way for marketing purposes. The free version csn only record in SD resolution, so unless you want use this app in 2005, you’ll have to unlock all features through an in-app purchase..Version: 4.4.8
