Satellite Tracker by Star Walk for Negative User Reviews

Got to agree with the guy who said this used to be brilliantI just want to look at the sky and see if there’s a satellite, or if I see one, to identify it. Now if I have some kind of intimate interest in a particular satellite I can then track it, or I can pick one of the several hundred satellites and see if I can see it. I want it the other way round..Version: 1.4.2

Started good and ended poorlyWhen I first got this app it had preselected satellites to follow. Now you have to select from a list of hundreds of satellites which ones to track. The trouble is, you haven’t got a clue which ones will ever pass over your head. They should use your location and tell you which ones to track. To cap it off, every time I now open the app it just crashes. Tried reinstalling it, but no joy. Now deleted and subscription cancelled..Version: 1.3.2

Doesn’t track in the Southern HemisphereSatellite tracking doesn’t work. You can directly point the app over a satellite you see on the sky and shows nothing. If you track an upcoming satellite in the app, still nothing. Sorry but it it might work in the northern hemisphere, but not here!.Version: 1.4.2

Only get ISS without payingYou only get access to the international space station and that’s it. You have to pay for the rest..Version: 1.4.2

Weird design. Can’t look up and find satellites.Strange approach. It appears that you must search a list of soon to be visible satellites by name, choose which ones you want to see. Then one at a time, select them, and try to find it. For me, I’d much rather look at a view of the earth from space showing all the satellites being tracked at once, and tap on ones near me to look for above. That is how Satellite Safari worked (apparently no longer available) and it was much more useful for me..Version: 1.4.4

Screen doesn’t rotateWondering why the screen does not seem to rotate on a iPad from portrait to landscape?.Version: 1.4.2

Not worth downloading even if it’s freeSeems a lot like a scam to make it so difficult to unsubscribe after signing up for the free trial. None of the unsubscribe links in the app work. You have to get into your iTunes account and click on your apple id to get to a spot where you can manage subscriptions. It would be easy for them to explain this but they provide no info and do not respond to emails to their support center. Otherwise it’s pretty useless anyway and the positive reviews have to be fake. You can only track and view one of the 15 satellites they follow at a time..Version: 1.0.3

Hard to useThink a subscription is a bit much don’t mind paying $7 for satellite live but not a $1.50 every 3 months.Version: 1.0.2

Where are all the satellites? After using Star Walk for many years with great satisfaction, I installed Satellite Tracker with great expectations. However, I was quickly disappointed. Despite trialling the Satellite Live subscription that supposedly opens up access to all their satellites, I was only able to see about 18 objects to track. Where are all the StarLink satellites? What about Iridium? Unless I’m missing something fundamental, there appears to be no way to search for specific objects, and only a very poor selection available. What exactly do I get for my subscription?? I know these guys are great developers, but this really isn’t one of their ‘A’-game apps..Version: 1.2.8

Fake reviewsSo many fake 5 star reviews. The app is basically usable without a paid subscription..Version: 1.3.3

Teething problemsOn the whole the App is excellent, however whenever I receive a message telling me about a planetary alignment or anything else and go to view it in the App it isn’t there. Furthermore there is nowhere in the app to report this kind of issue..Version: 1.4.2

Fix “Location”Every time you open the app you have to enter the location manually if you want to preserve your privacy..Version: 1.4.2

Can’t see ALL satellitesThis app makes it impractical to answer the question “I see something bright in the night sky - is it a satellite and if so which one?”. You can’t see all satellites by default and it’s not possible to track what’s currently above you nor what *will* be above you. I found the interface clunky and not intuitive..Version: 1.3.2

Adds adds addsIt’s absolutely garbage if you use the free version, nothing but adds. Don’t bother!.Version: 1.4.4

Concept brilliant navigation poorIts such a great idea but i find the Ap so frustrating to navigate. I keep just giving up. Simple things like how to find othet sattelites are so fiddly to find. I just give up. Ilike to know which satellites I can see from my location (London) but I cannot find how to do that so... i give up..Version: 1.3.2

Flawed from the StartAny App that forces me to remove my iPad from its holder in order to use it is a non starter. I would hazard a guess that this was developed from a phone app and the developer either gave it no thought or couldn't be bothered to adapt it to landscape presentation. Having looked deeper into the App, it is missing satellites that I would like to track. Unfortunately, the app offers no options to add orbit data from a source other than the one to which it is linked..Version: 1.2.4

BriefLeeOk.Version: 1.3.6

Only track one satellite at a time. This app has great potential to track many satellites, but if you see one go over your head, you have to frantically switch to each satellite in hopes you will get to identify it before it disappears. All they need to do is have an option to track all satellites at once! They could reduce the amount of info about each satellite, just what it is when you point to it. If they made this mod, I would be happy to pay for the app as well as the subscription..Version: 1.2.8

Cash grab appTerrible that you have to pay for virtually everything..Version: 1.4.4

Misleading app nameI got this app because it was called “Satellite Tracker”. The only satellite it tracks is the International Space Station as far as I can tell. To track any other satellite requires an upgrade to a monthly subscription..Version: 1.3.2

Only works with internet access?I was considering subscription, although it seems a bit mercenary. But on a recent camping trip It seems (unlike star walk) that it won’t work in gps alone and you need Internet access? Kinda defeats the purpose if most of the places you are likely to be able to do some decent Star/ satellite gazing aren’t going to have phone service or wifi!.Version: 1.0.3

ConfusingI honestly could not get this to work. All it shows is the international space station. Not very intuitive. All I wanted was to see what satellites were in our area at any one time but it doesn't appear to be easy to do that..Version: 1.4.2

:(I installed your app and went through with the 1 week trial. i then go and see that it has taken 99c out of my account so to try to figure it out i unsubscribe and when i come back to my account all my money is gone from my credit. not very happy which is not what i wanted as i just wanted to be able to view the setalittes around..Version: 1.2.3

Waste of bandwidthLike a lot of apps nowadays they tout some great thing but after you download it you find out you have to pay some exorbitant price for an app which was nothing more than a novelty anyway. If you don’t pay the ransom all you get is a graphic of the earth and the track of the ISS which is not at all what they make you think you’re getting on the app store. Apple should really do something to stop these developers who waste our time, bandwidth, and phone memory. So that’s my warning. Thanks for reading..Version: 1.4.4

Bring back upcoming pass featureHOW DO I ACCESS THE SCREEN SHOWN IN THE PREVIEW PICTURE THAT SAYS "SPOT SATELLITES PASSING BY IN THE SKY"? THIS LOOKS LIKE THE SCREEN I USED TO USE THE MOST, WHICH I CAN NO LONGER FIND! This would have been a five-star review until a couple of weeks ago, and I hope it will be again! My favorite feature has been removed, or I can't figure out how to access it. You used to be able to see a schedule of upcoming passes for your location. For example: Starlink 2504 passing by now ISS next pass 1:02 Starlink 2509 next pass 2:45 Ajisai next pass 2:57 etc. This was great, because you could keep track of all the satellites that would be passing in a given time frame. It was the easiest way to know when was a good time to step outside and take a look. If this feature still exists, I can't find it. I sent an email to the support address about a week ago and haven't heard back. I'm hoping someone will notice this review and respond!.Version: 1.3.2

Subscription requiredNeed to be clear about the terms of use up front, not after installing the app.Version: 1.4.2

UnknownI downloaded this app, sat down on the toilet and the minute i turned it on, the power went out on the entire block. Seems weird but i turned it off and deleted it & the power came back on! not the app you want on your phone. Lol.Version: 1.4.2

I don’t know if it’s any goodThis might be a good App but I simply don’t know. I downloaded it because it looked interesting however having downloaded it I cannot find any instructions on how to use it. Instead of instructions there are relentless messages inviting me to upgrade to something which will probably be even more confusing. It’s a shame but to be honest, if I could have given it zero stars I would have..Version: 1.0.2

Good oneThank you for everything. I like and I’m huge fun ok..🌏🌍🌟💫❤️.Version: 1.3.2

The best review of the worst app everWhoever made this has an extremely low IQ. The clouds on the globe move way too fast to be realistic. When you first open the app it asks you if you want to use the current positioning or use manual positioning, I live in FL and it put my location in Africa. I couldn’t even change it. You can’t see any satellites anywhere, the only thing you can do is move this replica of the earth around and check out all the countries which is pretty cool, until you realize that the Pacific Ocean covers half of the earth, and China to Europe is another half of the earth, and then the Atlantic and United States is the third half of the United States..Version: 1.3.6

MehReviews look great but the app is a pretty crippled ad-fest. You need to subscribe to do anything useful with it and although the monthly fee is pretty reasonable and I’m certain the developer puts their heart-n-soul into their work it’s just another subscription I really, REALLY don’t need. Deleted after 5 minutes of rage-inducing google adware, says it all really..Version: 1.4.4

Why why why!?!This app is terrible. As a long running Star Walk 1 & 2 user I am very disappointed that content has been moved to a new app thats subscription based. On top of that no matter what I do its stuck on tracking the ISS (Which SW2 still has). All of this because I saw something and wanted to quickly see what it was… now I’m just annoyed..Version: 1.4.4

Probably perfect if you know what you’re looking for….I wanted an app which, when you pointed it at the sky (and a satellite you could see flying across the sky), would tell you what it was. With this one, you get a list of satellites in order of when they will appear. Then you have to point the phone at the sky and hope that the one you want is the one you’re looking for. But it’ll only show one at a time: so, in practice, I found that you can never find anything! My friends on the roof were shouting out “look; there’s one!” Could I find it? Could it hell…. Basically, I found none with the app; they found 6 just by looking at the sky! Disappointing: unless I’m not using some function which someone can point me to…..Version: 1.4.2

Doesn’t work freeThe app takes 1st time users to directly purchase option which is tricky and not in favor of consumers!!! Application must be reviewed by #Apple.Version: 1.2.7

Ads after subscribing?Subscribed to the 7 day free trial to which I was charged immediately? Ads are displayed still which was highly annoying as I was trying to show my son a satellite that was rapidly passing overhead. Not a good memory this endeavour was..Version: 1.4.4

StupidImpossible for the average joe to figure out.Version: 1.3.1

VERY limited number of satellitesCome on!!! If we are expected to pay a subscription, at least give us more than a few satellites! This toy app doesn’t even have the NOAA weather satellites. It’s just a money grab gimmick..Version: 1.2.8

Waste of timeDoes not track SpaceX satellites. I’m cancelling my subscription..Version: 1.2.3

GarbageDoesn’t tell you they are going to charge you on the App page, there is nothing about costs, you only find out after you go to the trouble of downloading the app, then it wants to charge you, when you say no it kicks you back to apps page. No stars from me, unfortunately I have to give at least one or I can’t post this, if you want to charge, make it clear on the apps page so you can see it BEFORE you download..Version: 1.4.2

Unsubscribe try and findTried free trial Just wanted to test app Next thing they have you subscribed And they have a support email that bounces back your email as spam And no option to unsubscribe So iTunes is no help also so had to go to credit card to not pay Just a bit of advise look at app and if you like it just hit the free trial button and you will be subscribing cause there is NO Free trial cause there is no way to cancel subscription Vitto Texh sends me a email (instead of just canceling for me)on how to cancel sub. I followed it and it gives you 2 options 1 renew and 2 renew no where is a cancellation option So I looked at app for 10 minutes and canceled It then weeks later I got billed 52cents for this month Apple says I canceled sub If I canceled it why did they bill me? They are no help so go to your credit card to put stop on As a disabled senior just a bit of advice look at trying to cancel before you try the bogus free trial.Version: 1.2.2

Rip off. Constantly trying to force you to pay.Relentless adds and attempts to make you pay. Unusable..Version: 1.4.2

GarbageIf I could give it negative star ratings I would..Version: 1.4.2

Clunky and unusableBeen trying to find a good app that can closely approximate what Heavens-above.com accomplishes, but I’m still looking. This app is confusing and not easy to navigate. Someone tell the developers that most people don’t want to track satellites individually. Show us the sky and satellites in real time from our location. Simple. Not whatever THIS is..Version: 1.4.2

Was good but now hard to find Satellites that will pass soonWas a great app showed common satellites passing over my location. It appears you’ve added more satellites which is great, but now unfortunately I find it impossible to find any satellites that are passing over my head soon. i’m left with a list of about 100 satellites and I have to go through each section to find what is passing me soon. As a result I have cancelled my subscription and deleted the app ..Version: 1.3.2

Terribly misleading to even say there’s a free versionThis app looks like it could be amazing, but I can’t tell because I can’t go five seconds of exploring it without having my screen taken over by a full page ad that lasts for five seconds before giving me a close option. I’ve tried to scroll through the list of visible satellites but on my second swipe up, the app takes over and takes me back to the subscription page. Make no mistake, this is not a free app. It will be unusable until you agree to subscribe. As another reviewer said, they use bully tactics to get your subscription. False advertising..Version: 1.4.2

Subscription RequiredSays track ISS and STARLINK, app is free but when downloaded requires subscription to see STARLINK. Would not have bothered downloading if that was clear..Version: 1.4.2

Bad trackingTracking is off and when trying to find a small light is hit and miss when aiming the view to the sky.Version: 1.0.2

Nice to look at, nice feel, but...As mentioned by other reviewers, only 14 satellites, in fact I downloaded it after a link suggested it to track Starlink satellites but they were not a selection option in the list, without expanding greatly the number of satellites traceable the app will be temporary use, a shame indeed as it looks so great..Version: 1.2.4

Satellite listDatabase is not current.Version: 1.2.8

Can only track the ISS freeAll other satellites are locked and require subscription..Version: 1.4.2

IPadIt would be great if app would flip with change in position iPad rather than fixed. Otherwise great app.Version: 1.0.3

Complètement imprécisCrap.Version: 1.4.2

Good info but why the addsThis is a paid app, why am I still having to sit through ads when I click between the different modes??.Version: 1.4.2

Pop up adsThe app recently had a update and it now shows ads while you are navigating the app. You can’t stop them or skip them. When you are trying to keep quiet because of a sleeping baby and you weren’t expecting any loud noises. The ads pop up waking the baby. I looked through the app and can’t find where to purchase a subscription to remove the ads (it might be in the App Store but not in app). This was a good little app. But no more..Version: 1.4.2

Nice GraphicsEasy to use and nice display. But there is much info missing. First you need to check every satellite to see which one will be in view of you area. A pass is shown but too far away to actually spot it. Second, there is no indication of the magnitude of the sighting which makes it difficult to predict if you will actually see it..Version: 1.2.8

Can’t see anythingWhen I first found this app I was super excited! I downloaded the app and it would tell me where the ISS was and when it would pass over. I must have seen the ISS a hundred times! With being happy about that, I decided to subscribe to the app in hopes to see more satellites. Turns out after I subscribed, I have lost a ton of sleep looking for the ISS, satellites and other objects this app claims to track. In the passed 3 months, I haven’t been able to see anything, and the skies have been clear! Hopefully they can figure the problems out, because I was happy when the app was free, but not when I’m paying for it!.Version: 1.2.8

Free ISS trackerThe free part only includes the ISS tracker Need to subscribe to get more Not worth it.Version: 1.2.8

Why did you have to change what wasn’t broken?I liked being able to see which satellites were passing overhead at the instant I was looking at the map, but after the last update that function is gone! Now I have which satellites I’m tracking and those I’m not; I have to manually choose from the hundreds of satellites in the lists and manually add them to the track list. I used to enjoy tracking the ones going overhead but now I don’t even know which one or where to find it in the list. Please give us the option again to see which ones are overhead at the given moment! It’s one of the two reasons I decided to spend money on the app, the other being I like how it showed the ISS information. The list of satellites passing overhead as it was happening was what set this app apart from the others. Taking that away just dropped the usefulness of this app for me..Version: 1.3.1

Wow, what price a luxury.I am not afraid of paying money for an app. I have paid $50, for a few, but asking me to pay a subscription for this? No. Not Worth it. I would pay $15 once. But that is my limit. Maybe you could explain the costs behind the price..Version: 1.0.0

Odd feelings about thisIt is really good at tracking the satellite but you have to pay for a lot of things and I find that a little bit weird and bad because we can’t pay for everything.Version: 1.0.0

Very few satellitesI was expecting a lot more satellites to be unlocked with the subscription, the app only had about a dozen you can track..Version: 1.0.3

Beautiful and stunning...but only 14 satellites? This app is so beautifully rendered. You can even see an amazing Aurora Borealis as you view your chosen satellite (all satellites rendered in 3D) as it speeds along its orbit, the surface of the planet and clouds equally impressively rendered below. But... there’s only 14 satellites available to view, out of the thousands of man-made objects currently orbiting the earth. Consequently, by the end of the week’s trial, I’m likely to have seen all there is to see. Other trackers track hundreds of satellites, and if this app did likewise it would probably be the most addictive app out there. As it is, with so few objects to track, it’s got a short shelf-life. Judging by the amount of time it’s taking the developers to perform even minor updates, I fear this app will therefore sadly remain a curio. Which is a crying shame, as it really is visually impressive..Version: 1.0.3

Ne vous faites pas avoir... pas gratuitApplication n’est pas gratuit. Attrape-nigaud..Version: 1.2.8

Mumma BearWhy is my husband spotting satellites that don’t even show up on my app . Just bought this and I am trying to explain why I paid for an app that doesn’t even show satellites we can see with the naked eye :((((.Version: 1.2.6

GoodIt is good but why can’t you see out of the satellite or space station which ever one it would be super cool if you made it so you can see out of the space station or satellite.Version: 1.0.3

Used to work well now a disappointment.Functionality to alert to any satellite about to transit in vicinity now removed, so app has lost its primary purpose..Version: 1.3.2

Subscription?Could you confirm if what I pay is once only fee? If is a subscription is enough to cancel by deleting app? I wasn’t able to locate unsubscribe option, please advise..Version: 1.0.3

Satellite appNot sure what this is not an easy app to figure out. Not sure what it is following seems like only one Sattelite not worth using.Version: 1.3.2

Updated app impossible to manageI used to love this app and was happy to pay for the subscription even though I never pay for apps. I could always find the satellites which said they were passing over and liked the notifications 5 mins before and when they were overheard. The notifications were automatic and I didn’t need to pre set them. With the updated app the sheer quantity of satellites is over whelming and 80% say not passing in 24 hours. It’s impossible to know which ones will be best visible in my location and which ones to track. You also now manually have to turn on alerts for each individual pass on each individual satellite, who has the time in their day to do this?! And furthermore you have to sift through hundreds of satellites to find those passing within the next few hours to know which alerts to turn on. Considering your paying for this app it now seems an impossible time intensive task to receive an alert for a satellite to know when to look. Very disappointed considering I used to love this app..Version: 1.3.3

Warning, tracks you, not the skyApp is completely useless without an agreement to a subscription trial which auto renews by default. But not only do you have to pay to use the app, they also tell other companies who you are, where you are, and what you’re doing..Version: 1.4.2

Free version is too limitedI really wanted to track many satellites, but the free version only tracks the ISS, therefore I can barely use it. I was really wanting to see the SpaceX Crew-6 Mission. But it will probably not let track it unless I pay for the extra content. I don’t feel like taking the free trial because it’s one time, then I have to pay. Please increase what you can do with the free version. Also there is ads popping up quite often a little annoying, but you have to make money..Version: 1.4.4

Not Very UsefulHopefully the developers will continue to work on this app as it has great potential. However, for now, it’s not very useful. For example, in an environment that is not pitch black, when it’s already difficult to see satellites, this app doesn’t help the user orient their phone in the sky. The view is very wide angle, and apparently can’t be zoomed. And, the text is too small to read, and I couldn’t find a way to increase the size to make it legible. Plus, even when a satellite is named, I didn’t find an easy way to get useful information about it. Lastly, perhaps it’s illegal to identify US government satellites. I don’t know, but that would be ridiculous since China, Russia, Iran, and every other country track our satellites. In any case, the reason I downloaded this app was to learn about the three satellites-in-row that travel over my location each night. But nothing. I can see them clearly, but the app doesn’t even display them. Maybe this is a great app for someone, but for me it was a disappointment even though I subscribed to gain access to the extra features..Version: 1.3.6

Account charge on deleted app. during week trial.Oh dear, I loaded this app but decided it wasn’t for me but find I have been charged a monthly fee. How do I stop it? Probably my poor tech savvy understanding. Update: contacted via developer...thank you, all sorted. Very informative app if you are looking for in-depth information..Version: 1.4.2

Version: 1.4.2

Inspiration4This app is a load of rubbish, inspiration4 landed back on earth hours ago and the app is still showing it up there? What other sallelites are we watching that are not where they tell us? And what a surprise hard to send a bad review all the names are taken.Version: 1.4.2

Satellite TrackerExcellent information should be more free credit for loyal customers.Version: 1.4.2

DISSAPOINTEDI was led to believe that the app can be tried out for ONE WEEK for free and WITHOUT having to subscribe. I ended up getting charged $0.99 to use it for a month. I DIDN’T WANT THAT....I wanted to use the app for free for one week, and then if I wanted to, I could subscribe. That’s what I thought was going to happen. INSTEAD I get charged $0.99 for one month. NOT GOOD......LET THAT BE A WARNING TO ALL FUTURE APP SUBSCRIBERS......Version: 1.2.4

Notifications are too late! There are lots of interesting notifications however they usually appear in my email account the day after the event! Maybe this is something to do with time zones but it makes it a slightly disappointing performance. If it were on time it would be great! Developers should try to rectify this problem..Version: 1.2.8

Shouldn’t be a subscription modelI’m a big fan of Vito techs mobile apps. I have purchased almost all of them. Very disappointed to find that their satellite app is a monthly fee for content access. I think it’s ruined a great app..Version: 1.0.2

Alerts you tho ISS is in shadow? The visuals are very nice. You get three views of the ISS position plus the ability to point your phone at some of the brightest stars and see their names. When ISS passes, center it on your screen and your phone will be pointing at where to look. I am disappointed that the app tracks satellites besides the ISS only if you subscribe. It’s there in the fine print; so, despite the fact that I’m going to immediately uninstall the app, I can’t ding it any stars for that in the rating. - - - I’ve retuned to deduct three stars. I’ve gone out to look for the ISS three times and not seen it. Perhaps it’s in earth’s shadow at 7:15 pm in December; but if it is, the app ought to have calculated the brightness and not alerted me..Version: 1.0.2

Too many notificationsI’ve turned them all off but they still come through.Version: 1.2.3

No goThis app shows you no thing unless you pay money for up grade.Version: 1.4.2

D A T A T R A C K I N G and L I N K I N GThe vagueness in who tracks and links what is disturbing. Simply. This model needs to change, it’s invasive. Sucks too, because now I will have to delete your apps from my kids hardware and my own. Disappointed. Responding - I am not “confused”. Interesting you would put it that way though. Read your info under privacy. Lots of data talk there talking about what “may be used” used to track me across multiple platforms and what’s not personally linked to me. Last time I checked with apple… my device is intimately connected to me through passwords, facial recognition, LiDAR facial mapping, my MAC address and my voice. Your “data use” policy is vague both linked and ahem… not linked. Save your insults. Wow… Amazing. If whom ever responded to my comment … find a new a new job. Your customer services prowess really needs some work. Gone to 1 star..Version: 1.4.4

Fancy but weakPretty disappointed with this app. The world view looks pretty but is next to useless with no zoom or detail settings. Also there is not a location-specific passes list for all sats, which seems like a pretty basic requirement. Live view of sky is ok..Version: 1.3.2

No HAM satellitesIf you are trying to use this app to track HAM satellites this app is not for you. It only allows to view a limited list of satellites, which is fine for spotting them in the sky. Because of this I am giving it a three star review and will be trying to unsubscribe. Update: unsubscribes without issues through the “unsubscribe” option within the app. Note to the developer: can you please add FOX-1B (RADFXSAT AO-91)and FOX-1D (AO-92) HAM satellites to the tracked satellite list? Also, feel free to reach out to me about other HAM satellites that could be added. Will re-subscribe (Along with thousands of other HAMs around the globe) once the HAM satellites are added. Update: Developer’s response did not address the app not having HAM satellites for live tracking. Dropping the rating by one star since it seems the developers are not even willing to acknowledge the issue exists. Here is the reply from the developer: "Thank you for downloading Satellite Tracker. This app was made specifically for real-time satellite tracking in the sky.".Version: 1.2.8

Great platform, lots of room for improvementSuggested improvements: - Enhance satellite database - Enhance tracking accuracy - Enhance alert consistency Happy to elaborate further. Please feel free to get in touch..Version: 1.0.2

Wrong pass informationNot very good. App says passing now but satellites are not! Then I tried to unsubscribe but no option to. Was really looking forward to this App but it’s in another Universe called less than average..Version: 1.0.3

Only 15 Sats & Unsubscribing Near ImpossibleAfter trying the trial version and being disappointed that I could only evaluate it with the ISS, I purchased a subscription because the price seemed so reasonable. Once I saw the subscription had only 15 satellites, I immediately tried to unsubscribe. As many others have pointed out in negative reviews, unsubscribing is nearly impossible. I experienced the exact same thing others did which is that the "unsubscribe" link in the app is broken and takes you no where. While I do not believe this app is intended to be a scam, the broken unsubscribe link IMMEDIATELY makes me suspicious. I had to spend 10 minutes googling to figure out how to forcibly unsubscribe by going deep into the iPhone Settings app. This is really a shame because with one exception, the design and functionality of the app itself seems pretty good. The only annoying thing about functionality (other than only tracking 15 satellites) is that you cannot zoom in on the globe to see precisely where the satellite is passing over. You can only see the whole global from space and get a rough visual idea of where it passes over. If the app had warned me ahead of time that subscribing only gives me 15 satellites AND if the "unsubscribe" button worked so it didn't give the impression of being a scam, I would have rated this app 4 out of 5 stars. Those two things would have saved me and many others a great deal of frustration. I do not recommend this app at all..Version: 1.0.3

An app with an ongoing subscription... no thanksI liked the idea of this when it came up in Star Walk 2. It’ll be a little add on, I thought... Tried to look for something other than the ISS and was met by an invitation to sign up for an ongoing subscription. If this is where app funding is going then I’m going to buying very few apps. If it had just been 0.99 then I’d have bought it today..Version: 1.0.2

It’s okGood if you know the satellite you are looking for. Not for identifying satellites in the night sky..Version: 1.4.2

Minus tenI hadn't even had the chance to use this app before the box popped up begging me to say something nice about it. But I cannot. Your pathological need for positive reinforcement means I have no idea what this app is like yet. Please stop asking me to rate your app. There are far less lazy and intrusive ways of getting feedback..Version: 1.0.0

Ripped offI got this on a free trial basis, canceled my subscription immediately because I didn’t like the app. I was charged for one month’s use anyway and was told I couldn’t get a refund. Not an honest dealer..Version: 1.4.2

Good at what it doesNot yet found a way to verify what satellite I can see overhead. Excellent at tracking those I specify..Version: 1.4.4

Beautiful yet flawedGreat concept, beautifully rendered, but still extremely lacking. I am incredibly surprised that with the interest in Starlink right now and it’s several launches.. that you haven’t opted to include these. I was hoping to utilise your app to view the trains.. but unfortunately not. In which case.. I find the app wonderfully designed , but there’s not enough here to keep me using the app..Version: 1.2.4

Confusing InterfaceThis app is terrible. It’s great for finding the ISS but not for any other satellites. It would be better if there was an easier way to find and track just normal satellites that were visible at your location..Version: 1.3.6

UselessDoesn’t have my city and difficult to cancel trial membership Beware a money grabbing app.Version: 1.0.3

Very poor workabilityGreat for tracking the ISS. Other than that if I try and “unlock” other satellites it takes you to the subscribe screen (which I have done already, I believe but not really sure) and if you press the subscribe button again and nothing happens. If you go to their support via the App Store guess what, blank page, if you look at the menu for their apps, satellite live isn’t on it. What else, oh yes, whilst your trying to navigate around a very unintuitive menu it keeps popping up a page to try and flog you more of their apps. If you had a working support page I wouldn’t have had to write this review..Version: 1.2.2

This app is cheaper than the price.Complete waste of time and money. Don’t bother with this app. You can do better just by watching YouTube or NASA TV.Version: 1.4.2

Could be much betterThe idea is sound, but I fail to see why reasonable Google Earth type resolution of the ground cannot be included, and see no value at all in the cloud fx; an overlay simulating actual cloud cover in real or close to real time would be useful, provided it was switcheable, but if this can’t be done it would be better to not bother with clouds. Ground resolution is abysmal, and it is frustrating enough without the pseudo cloudfx..Version: 1.4.2
