✓ Very slowThis is my first time using this app. I’ll start what I like about the app. First off, it’s really fun, and challenging! I love crossword puzzles! So I thought I would give this a shot. However, it’s kinda buggy and slow. When it loads it takes forever, especially when I finish a match. Also, when I finish the crossword match before the other player, it would say that “I lost” and “they won”. How is it that I lost when I was the one to finish first? Doesn’t make sense. That’s the reason I rate this game 3 stars..Version: 5.11
✓ Games a joke!It takes days to find a match and by then you’ll have no chance at the league price. I contacted costumer support about pending tournament for 2 days, which they responded with it can take up to 7 days to find a match and it’s just a side effect of the way they match. If they know it’s an issue then they should’ve been working to fix it. Costumer support is trash. Games a waste of time. Take your money somewhere else..Version: 6.1
✓ Lose money because it crashes ALOTPlay for the tickets not the money. This app crashes so much. It crashes every few matches. I had it crash yesterday lost $2 no big deal. Today I played and lost $3.60 within 10 minutes because the app crashed on me on a $3 and 0.60 match. Thank GOD it didn’t crash on my $10 match. Do not play with your money. Just earn it in matches and recycle it on matches. It’s fun but not when you’re losing money due to crashes..Version: 6.0
✓ No troubleI started playing on Skillz to keep myself occupied, keep my mind sharp and must importantly, keep me out of trouble. The real surprise bonus came when I needed the help of the Support Team. From game bugs and fixes, to ticket/cash redemption and more I was always met with respect, eagerness with a determination to solve my issues. Simply put, I felt like none of my problems or questions would ever be unanswered. The games are fun and easy to navigate for this 53 year old. The customer service is superb. But most of all playing has kept me out of trouble and I made some extra cash along the way. Highly recommend this platform..Version: 6.11

✓ GlitchesThe concept is nice, and yet, what I have a problem with is that I sometimes try to spell a word and it won’t allow me... only to find the same 3 letters somewhere else on the board that it allows me to play. If letters display twice it shouldn’t stop you from playing the word if you have already found it. That brings this game down a star or two for me..Version: 6.1

✓ VERY FRUSTRATEDI downloaded the game played a couple practice games and deposited some money. Then it asked for a login and took me to a page where you give your email, password and re-enter password. After I did this it only comes back to the same screen (Email, PW & RE-enter PW) over and over saying the email was already used. Now the game has my money and no way to get in to play. Plz correct this problem!! I even deleted the game and re-downloaded it with the same results..Version: 6.5

✓ ReviewThis game is good but the money for 1.00 match skillz take 60 cents then $1.60 to withdraw ur money I think they shouldn’t take over half of our money we should get 70 cents but my opinion U also find it hard to get them understand money gets taken and yes they reimbursed 1 but if it’s a game glitch it should not have to be based on that for ex : I had $6.00 refunded and game took it back and hadn’t given it back and u talk to about 5 people each complaint and no one of knows what was done If this game correct this I would give them 5 star PLEASE REVIEW THIS SKILLZ.Version: 6.5
✓ It’s fun but it freezes and you lose $$I love this game but I’ve lost money about 7 times because the game freezes and it then says I’ve aborted my game which isn’t true. I’ve currently taken a break because it happened so often I ended up with nothing to play with in my account. So I am wasting money when I lose it because the app freezes. ✓ Too much cheatingThis is a great game, except for the fact that there are a ton of cheaters who ePlay and Skillz do not seem to punish. I have lost very much money against these cheaters and have not been offered compensation nor have the players been banned. Neither company seems to care or are just oblivious to how the cheating is done. The cheaters take advantage of the ability to pause the game and find words while the game is paused in the app switcher. This should not be allowed, and I know it can be fixed. For this reason I can only give this game one star as it is the cause of a lot of my money being stolen. If this is fixed, my review would be five stars, but this is inexcusable..Version: 5.1.2
✓ It’s ok. UPDATE...SCAM!! do not download!I just downloaded this game and it’s ok...it’s fun and you don’t necessarily have to play for cash. They definitely don’t have enough players though, I’m constantly playing the same people. I’m also confused by the time the game says I completed a round. On the smaller games, playing for $1, I timed myself and it takes me maybe 10-15 seconds to find the few words listed, but when I’m done the game says I took about double the amount of time. I’ve looked through the game info and rules and can’t really find anything that explains how the game calculates your time. Update: This game is 100% a scam!!! DO NOT deposit any money to play! DO NOT even download! I just finished a game...solving it in less than 10 seconds, yet it told me I finished in 17 seconds and lost to the other player (that wasn’t actually selected for the round until after I had finished playing)..Version: 5.10

✓ Pause doesn’t pause anythingFirst of all, I wanna say I have a lot of Skillz games and love all of them! They’re definitely fun (and winning money more so). This specific game though is a bit irritating because I noticed the pause button doesn’t actually pause the game like the other Skillz games do. It makes losing REALLY easy if something comes up during the 2 minute games, so I DO NOT recommend playing cash matches if you have literally anything else going on. Can’t even answer a phone call without the game auto-disqualifying you..Version: 6.19

✓ Glitch in SystemToday I played two tiebreakers against two different opponents, and when the game began I noticed a significant decrease in the number of words that is normally asked of to find. I completed the match early because the game told me I got a perfect score (5/5) then when the results appeared I came in second place. My opponent found more words than me. I’m not sure how this is possible when the system ended my game early for finding every word that was asked of me. I believe this is a bug in the system, but nevertheless I lost $1.20. I started another $1 tournament match to see if the problem would happen again - it did, so that was another sixty cents lost. I will no longer continue to play the game until my $1.80 is reimbursed and this bug is fixed..Version: 4.2

✓ Update ruined the gameReal Money Word Search was my favorite game until the last update completely changed the game. It’s horrible now. Before, you would have a set time to find the words. If you and your opponent both found all of the words you would play tie-breakers until one player found more words than the other. The competition was fun, fair, and the rules made sense. Now, you have to find some secret word that’s not on the list before you find the words on the list. Otherwise you won’t get the point multiplier and you won’t win. They also got rid of the bigger boards that had 20+ words to find. Not it’s a race to find the secret word and then a list of maybe 5 words. It’s not fun to play anymore. You can’t possible tell me a REAL person beat me in 4 word searches in a row that I had already played and they were “finding a match partner” for and solved each one in 4 seconds each? ✓ Pros and consI love doing word searches so it’s great to be able to earn money for it. The latest update seems to have cut out the cheating issue, which is great. My biggest complaint is that it can be difficult to get matches. I don’t even have a chance at winning the league because I have so many pending matches that I can’t get an opponent. ✓ Good at first...At first, I fell in LOVE with this game, it was a great way to use my skills and make money! I quickly told my friends and family about it and they made accounts. I made $44 and withdrew (still waiting for that check. My sister made $27 and withdrew, still waiting. And my best friend made $100!! Not a day or two after she made $100, I got an email that said I had multiple accounts???!? They closed my sisters account and my best friends account almost as soon as she had gotten that $100. It’s rigged and unfair. We all loved and adored this game but now we’re furious. To be clear, we all have SEPERATE accounts with our SEPERATE info, and they still claim I own them all, so they closed both of theirs and left mine open. All of us combined have put so much money and HOURS and hours of time into it. This is absolutely infuriating and if I could sue them for fraud, I 100% would. Scammers. ✓ You Never Win, Even For FunThis game has potential. It could be fun, but I find that no matter how fast I play, or complete puzzles before the time, I never win. Just starting out the game with only accumulating 25 practice coins over the course of 3 weeks. It’s so hard to move ahead. I end up with a headache after playing; between rushing to solve the word puzzle in 90 seconds or less and reading backwards diagonally, and noticing the misspelled words too, and still to not win, it’s not worth my time. This causes me more stress than it relieves. Unfortunately, I do not recommend unless competitive games that you cannot win moves you. Otherwise delete the app and find another. Every other word worked as it should but the one word didn’t go. This is kinda like getting cheated out of a win. ✓ Horrible oversight on cheatersSkillz (who is the parent company for this game) apparently does not care in the least when notified of blatant cheating from a certain player, and therefore every game you play leaves you vulnerable to being matched against an opponent that you will never win against, unless you also want to cheat, which I do not. There have been multiple cheaters who continue to play and despite being notified by myself and other players continuously, they refuse to take any action. This Support and Fraud team has also not refunded any bets that I placed after this user was reported, with obvious cheating in the replays, to what amounts to over $200 that is essentially stolen from me by this game and their current customer and fairness support system. I would play this game with caution, as your money will likely be taken be a cheating player and will never, ever be refunded, although it should be according to their own terms and conditions..Version: 5.3

✓ Surprise money withdrawals 🙄I was prompted to enter my paypal details without being told that $10 USD would automatically be charged, then when I attempted to withdraw that money and get it back a $1.50 “processing fee” was charged, and I was required to give my home address, which is super uncomfortable. After all that, I got an email saying it will take 4-6 weeks to process my withdrawal...all that to get back less than $7. Playing a game costs you 60 cents and the prize is $1, so you only win 40 cents per game. The 2-star review is because the actual gameplay (at least the 10 minutes of it I did before deleting) is actually kind of fun..Version: 6.1
