I knew it had to be near the couch since I was using it before I fell asleep but I didn’t really know where. This device helped me pinpoint the exact spot on the couch where the pen was and when I found it, some place I didn’t expect to find. ✗ Does not workLost Apple Pencil, knew it was in the house. Got app, did not find it, though it could see lots of things the iPad wasn’t even paired with. But where it was (as we realised when we eventually found it manually) wasn’t somewhere we could jiggle. So maybe asleep? Gave app the benefit of the doubt. But having found the Pencil again, thought I would try it when I knew where the Pencil was. It couldn’t see it. Waited five minutes, tried again. It still couldn’t see it.
