✓ Doesn’t send SMS to verifyThis app doesn’t work properly on iOS. Does not send verification SMS to phone so can’t be used..Version: 2.2.3
✓ Dubai spy appWhy there is no 0 stars, because for apps like this there should be that option. Unknown company made by Dubai government to spy on people because Skype and others are not legit in UAE hahahahaha , but this diamond - is for some reason. WhatsApp , Viber and Skype are not tolerating sharing info with third party but this fake app is doing so with government , this is info from Etisalat and Du. ✓ Worst VOIP app in existenceThis app is surprisingly poorly designed and i’ll explain why. 1. Poor battery optimization. We use this app with airplay on our tv and you can literally watch the battery drain in minutes. 2. Overheating On numerous occasions, the phone while air playing like mentioned above, has turned off with the ‘temperature too high’ message. The phone switched off TO SAVE ITSELF! 3. Audio issues. The app which is primarily a communication app does not know how to handle noise cancelation. If a person talks, it automatically mutes the other side. Which means if there’s a noise on my side, the person I’m speaking with is COMPLETELY MUTED. How can you carry on a conversation? 4. Doesn’t work with any of the apple features well. As mentioned above in the noise cancelation, AirPlay. Furthermore, audio is still stuck on the phone when air playing. This is possibly the only app on the planet that does things this badly. This is going nowhere and needs to be fixed! Also, the apps developer website links to the app. Which means they don’t have a way to get in touch expect for this review. ✓ Terrible appI am in the US and I use this app to talk to my mother at lunch breaks. Even after I run home to call just for half hour at least this should work! My parents paid AED150 for the first month and it was fine. They were then told to pay AED 50 and then AED 100 for the second month. Both of us should expect better. Calls run short after 4 minutes and 39 seconds. They pay AED4 for 30 mins every day on top of the AED 50. Please let me know what I can do on my end to fix this. ✓ Terrible User InterfaceOne of the worst video chatting apps I ever used. First interface is extremely clunk and most of the times the call gets disconnected. The thing that frustrates me the is that the screen automatically dims after a minute or so. ✓ Using with Bluetooth headsets is a nightmareSo i use airpods pro and sony 1000xm4 so not even cheap ones and they work great with whatsapp calling but botim is literally the worst calling app. Once u hung up and call again, u gotta reconnect the Bluetooth cause call goes to mute and I can’t do anything about it. Connection isn’t the issue as i stream 4k contenton the very same network. I usually use this to make a call to UAE and the recipients there pay for botim so there shouldn’t be a problem on our ends or in our bluetooths. ✓ Lots of glitches and lagsMy messages are deleted randomly, old messages are resent again and again causing loads of miscommunication and confusion. When ever i type a message and click enter, the message just disappears. Sometimes it reaches the recipient and sometimes not, but in my records nothing is shows. Please give a proper update because this is causing lot of pain and problems. If you cannot handle this new UI of yours, please give us the old simplified version of botim as that worked well with no such unwanted issues causing unnecessary confusion..Version: 3.2.0

✓ Terrible alternative to many better apps!I would certainly not use this app if I wasn’t limited solely to it due to internet restrictions in my country of residence. Often doesn’t work, cuts out, poor quality video and generally every single other app I’ve used when outside my country of residence is significantly better. The ads on the free version are extremely intrusive and don’t allow you to work the app. The premium edition doesn’t add any value or features. ✓ Hit or missJust like many people using this app, I have been coerced into downloading it as all other calling applications are blocked. sometimes I manage to make long phone calls without some sort of interruption or malfunction but the majority of the time that’s not the case. It has a tendency to hang up for no reason in the middle of my phone calls which I find particularly irritating. But seeing as I am in a long distance relationship I have lots of patience for it. It also has ads which I find especially annoying since I already pay the phone company a monthly fee of around 30 dollars to be able to use it. I we initially loved this app. We would talk for hours at a time. E.g. when I use FaceTime, Skype, or WhatsApp, when I put my ear to the phone the screen shuts down, or if I am on video chat the screen will stay alive. Also, if I am using another app while on FaceTime it gives some warning to the other caller. With BOT, none of this is the case. ✓ Outrageous app and serviceIt is unthinkable how bad the quality of connection and service of this app are. To top this up, the latest version started soliciting officious advertisement as if it were an unread message!!! It would have been understandable if it were a free version, but after charging 14$/month and delivering the above is abusive. Even between the paid users the connection is unstable about 80% of the time. It’s is very common for a call not go through urging you to make 2-3 calling attempts, often even restarting the app and/or phone. Sometimes at some point in the mid of conversation you stop hearing each other and other wait for 10sec and if lucky only one will get to listen and the other to speak unless you end up the call and call back anew.
