✓ Added Bulk = Slower AppIt seems each release adds more capability - which I don’t want or use and the result is that the app refreshes slower as I open a specific portfolio. I have never understood why the app does not refresh all portfolios at one time so I can quickly scan through the portfolios. Further it appears that when a portfolio is opened the app first refreshes the news for the selected security, then the charts then the day’s data and lastly refreshes the prices of the securities in that portfolio. It seems to me the prices should refresh first - typically I only look at the news/charts for selected stocks - so that should update after I have seen what is going on in the portfolio. I find that competing apps are able to update stock prices much faster..Version: 1.7.2

✓ Unstable after linking accountThe app works great on its own. It seemed that it had the functionality that I was looking for, so I paid to get rid of the ads. I decided to link my Robinhood account. Now the app crashes constantly and is unusable. The developer wants users to use the in-app contact function for help, but I can’t get that far into the app before it crashes. ✓ Sold outAfter years of using this app multiple times every day, the actions of the developers over the last year or so and the way the app had “progressed” led me to it believe the app had “sold out”, so I came to the app reviews section to complain. Lo and behold, everyone else has had the same experience. Their response? “Contact our customer service email”. It’s like you’re going out of your way to do everything wrong and lose customers. Congratulations, you succeeded. I’m deleting this app and never looking back. ✓ No way to sync info on multiple devices.I loved this app when I first downloaded it, so much so that I am a paid customer. ✓ Needs some improvementsGood app but still has issues with: Sells: no ability to sell partial amount of a position. You can add buys, but I can’t understand how to set a sell. It suggests just deleting a holding or changing the Number of Units. If I sell half my units of a stock I want this automatically reflected in the Sell tab. Instead I have to create an entry there, which is still labels the sold stock as a Buy, and thus tracks its current market value instead of the total value sold at. Charts: not very responsive to touch Ads: Obtrusive. 2 per page. Crypto: DOGE-USD shows N/A instead of its market value..Version: 1.22
✓ Need to Fix Two ThingsI have now sent three emails to customer support about this, and it remains to be fixed. First, the dividend yield is incorrect on every single stock. The decimal point is in the wrong place. For example, it will show a yield of 0.032% when the actual yield is 3.20%. Also, on the “old” version of the App, in the financial information, it showed the dollar amount of the annual dividend. That information is now not shown anywhere. I think that is important information that investors want to know, and it should be added back. If those two things would be fixed, I will give this a five star rating. ✓ Battery drainingThis app is ok, just ok. I do like the way that the app seamlessly syncs portfolios between devices. Most of the charts don’t provide the current day’s price. The API that the app uses to fetch market data is just mediocre. Sometimes charts don’t load and often financial data is outdated. ✓ Was great, is now steaming garbageThis used to be my go-to app for monitoring my portfolio, but a few months ago they completely lost their way. Not only were the ads getting obnoxious but in one update they corrupted all of my portfolio data, which is pretty annoying. They overwrote the iCloud storage so all of my devices were instantly wrong. Then I noticed that my Australian stocks were coming up as N/A. I logged a ticket and was told to delete and reinstall. I did. No change. I deleted the app and left it for a few months. Installed again today. Not surprisingly the corrupted/missing portfolio data remains wrong. What IS surprising is that after all this time, trying to add any Australian stock comes up with an error that it doesn’t exist. The app is completely useless. Don’t bother if you are looking at anything other than US stocks, if you get annoyed by nag screens and advertising, or if you want a stable and reliable app. Junk. Avoid..Version: 2.0.4

✓ Virtually useless on iOS 15.7!This app has a really annoying bug on iOS 15.7. I’ve reported it to the developer months ago, and the app has been updated several times since then, but the bug still persists. Once opened, when you select a stock in your portfolio, it shows the correct price. After a few seconds though, the price changes to another stock, then another, then another. ✓ Not worth it. Do not bother downloadingThis used to be my go to stock tracking app. They have no news now on any of the stocks, with no sign of it coming back. There are multiple issues with stocks being shown in incorrect currencies. Whoever owned, the stock before, was highly responsive, and this is a major down grade. Don’t bother downloading. ✓ Stay away, specialy canadiansThe one thing that type of software HAS TO DO is to display the right stock price. Unfortunately, a lot of times, it will convert the value of a canadian stock by applying a currency factor like if it was a american stock or vice versa. Plus, on a I-Pad, it will switch the data, while you ar looking a a stock, with the values of a stock you previously looked at. It leads to frustration and bad decisions. ✓ Not Reliable for NZX or ASX SharesI’m sad to be giving this review. Use to be good for NZX and ASX but now it seems to always get confused with these shares. Even though you’ve correctly identified the exchange, every update you come back to a new problem with shares not giving the correct totals, normally caused by incorrectly applying exchange rates. Eg my latest problem GNE.NZX - correctly shown as NZX shares, an update occurred and it suddenly applied an Australian exchange rate to it. I’ve had this happen multiple times and raised the issue with them multiple times. It just keeps on happening. Despite being a long term user I can’t trust the information it gives me and I’m giving up on it. Update: it’s worse now - ASX & NZX no longer supported. How they’ve done it is the low point - no notice it was happening and all information (notes, holdings etc) just deleted without warning! This is completely untrustworthy behaviour. ✓ Best of Bad Options.Sadly, there doesn’t seem to be a decent, straightforward, portfolio tracker app. This one does an okay job: - Can handle multiple portfolios - Accurately imports data if you take the time to enter it - Has a documented import format to streamline the process Where it’s woefully deficient is in the UX: - Font sizes in the app can’t be customized. They are laughably large on an iPad Pro, for instance...they should be tailor able. - The multicolumn view on iPad can’t be customized - you get a three-pane view that is pretty basic and doesn’t allow any meaningful customization. - There’s no way to look at the consolidated set of portfolios. It’s a presumably basic feature...but missing. - For advanced users - especially one that’s asking $80 for a lifetime license - there’s zero for you beyond the basics. For instance: - No Shortcuts support. - No widgets support. - No export support. - No Apple Watch support (arguably not an advanced feature). TL;DR: this app works, and works well for very basic things. It’s incredibly clunky to use. It needs a serious UX overhaul. It needs to seriously invest in advanced UX/iOS/iPadOS capabilities to be great. It’s ALMOST a great app. Keep at it....Version: 1.21.5

✓ Not user friendly, clunky, confusingThis app has one good feature that the apple stocks app doesn’t have - you can add your cost basis and number of shares. However, they make it so clunky and difficult to actually add that info that I’m actually debating with myself whether it’s easier to just pull out a calculator and figure it myself. If you have a static portfolio that you will never change, it’s probably worth spending the 30+ tedious minutes it will take you to get the info into the app, but if you’re trading regularly, forget about it. While it does link to my Fidelity account and pull my holdings automatically, it doesn’t pull all of the info, so I have to enter everything manually anyway. There are so many confusing screens and options that it looks cluttered, and the icons and options are not very clear, which means I end up wasting lots of time clicking into screens that I’m not looking for. The Apple stocks app is so easy to use, why can’t someone just copy that and add a couple of features and call it a day?.Version: 1.16.1

✓ Pretty GoodThis app is pretty good, it could use a few more features to become a great app. It would be great if you could view a graph by entire portfolio for a period of time (day, week, month, quarter, YTD, Year) and it would also be good for a bit more dividend information (ex-date, and payment date) - other than those couple of things I think this is one on the best apps out there, and hopefully these additional features will come soon, and I can give them a 5 star instead of the 4 star. ✓ Used to work wellI had to delete the app, for the last several months prices were not correct, it seems to take many of my Canadian stocks as trading in US$ and converting the reported price so the price was always about 30% higher than the actual share price. Many of my stocks wouldn’t update the share price for days - I could click on the 1 day chart and see the current price but it would never update in my portfolio. Even today it is telling me markets are closed today Dec 30. Online support just responds to my inquiries that everything is working as it should - even after I’ve sent screenshots of inaccurate pricing. Not worth the effort.Version: 1.30

✓ Something went wrongI have been using this app many years and loved it. It took 2-3 min to open the initial screen and does not respond when I selected the bottom of Gain and Losses tab or Day value. It used to take a second to change the different views. But it does not respond. This happened a week ago. Whatever the upgrade you made had an huge software issues and I am afraid you would lose many customers. It simply is not working. ✓ The Hits Just Keep ComingNot only have my service requests gone on for months on end (almost a year) without any follow up whatsoever, when I ask about them I get the same form letter in reply that their team is working on it. Add to that their interface with their data source is blamed for every imaginable error. One being that when any changes occur with SPAC stock (warrants, ticker change, etc) it is never reflected in the APP. I paid to remove ads but that didn’t get me relief from their shameless self promotion of new paid features every single startup of the APP that’s been going on since the last update. Tell me, if you can’t get the most basic of functionality and purpose of your app, and are already charging me for one perk just to those replace the ads with ones of your own - why would I want to pay you for more promises? ✓ App is no longer usableI’ve had this app for about 3 years. It used to be great even if it did have a few glitches where some of my stocks just wouldn’t load. I have about 30 watchlists which took me a long time to set up. It got progressively worse I’ve the last few months and now none of my pages are usable. ✓ $60 is too much to pay for a widgetI just wanted an app to put a widget with one stock on my screen. I appreciate that the widgets are good looking, but I don’t plan to use the app at all- I just want that one widget. Ive made contact with your support section in the past and they will respond but noting seems to get better. ✓ Seen recent improvements but only achieved half of my requirementsI have been using this app for 4 to 5 years. I was happy with it when owned by the old owners. Then I saw lots of strange problems with incorrect currencies and stock prices. Problems have been reported to support via the app and lots of screenshots were sent via email. I think the issues are still there. Other improvements were seen in slow responses, crashes and frozen screens but one important feature that I need was dropped.
