✓ Has a long way to goI recently migrated from Interactive Brokers to Schwab because I changed firms and I sorely miss IB’s mobile app. As an avid options trader, Schwab’s app is missing almost all the functionality a trader of spreads needs in the app. There’s no way to add spreads to watch lists, I can’t customize the watch lists, symbol Search is pitiful, commissions are easily 3-4x higher, and not to mention Schwab needs to update their margining system. My margin requirement tripled when I moved over. Anyone who wants to be an options trader should choose interactive brokers if they have that option..Version: 1.0.3
✓ Suddenly unable to loginAfter the recent update, the login page changed and now every attempt to login results in an “incorrect username/password” error (even though the same credentials using the Schwab Mobile app work just fine). ✓ Poor operationSlow operation and poor user interface. It stopped opening (loading) out of the clear blue. I'm downloading and reinstalling to see if I can get it to work. I have Streetsmart Edge on my computer but I really need this app to work on my Iphone XR. It seems like I've had trouble since updating my Apple Version to IOS 15.4. CONFIRMED! ✓ Miles Behind the Actual Schwab AppWith all of its money Schwab still has not updated this app to make it more user friendly? It’s so annoying and confusing to use. It’s organization seems like it was created to intentionally be confusing and give you adhd. I love the Schwab mobile app, and I hate the street smart app but for some reason they only let you do REAL trading on this app or their website. ✓ Can’t use app without futures on your accountI don’t trade futures, but I do trade options, and that is a nightmare to do on the basic Schwab app. I thought I would give this app a whirl, but it won’t even let me sign in if I don’t have futures access on my accounts. I shouldn’t have to apply to add futures to my existing accounts just to have access to a decent trading app. Not everyone can sit at their computer all day to scan for trade opportunities, and the basic app is garbage for trading. Maybe slowly fading my money out of Schwab and into another institution isn’t such a bad idea after all..Version: 2.0.6
✓ Not available for Schwab customersI rarely rate apps on anything but functionality, but I’m making an exception because of the branding. Why would they give this the same name as StreetSmart Edge and then not let customers who have access to that use this? Change the name or let us use it. Very frustrating..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Schwab’s Audience ...I have for a short time used CW’s website, street smart app and the Schwab app, all three are not in my opinion active trader friendly. I think Schwab is looking for more casual/less frequent traders. ThinkOrSwim is light years better than this. Don’t even try to get a good entry through the website it takes forever just to enter a bid. I’ll be moving to another broker soon, hopefully these guys work their backend to work with TOS. In my opinion their software presents to much risk in just executing a trade..Version: 2.0.3
✓ Shame on SchwabThey’re one of the largest brokerages and they can’t even get their act together with this app. Broken for months now, can’t even load the page to login. Moving my funds to TD (even though Schwab owns them now). At least their app works!.Version: 2.0.6

✓ Misleading app nameThis apparently is not a mobile version of StreetSmart Edge. I was excited to be able to use my mobile device to access my conditional trades… but surprise, when trying to login I get a puzzling message and can’t login. ✓ That there is no fingerprint or face login tells you everythingThis platform is so out of date. It's such an embarrassment to a company like Schwab. ✓ Unable to LoginThis app is the worst. Does not let me login at all on the mobile app or a mobile web browser. I am able to login with the same credentials on schwab app and also into streetsmart central on a desktop web browser.Version: 2.1.0
✓ An awful experienceI rarely leave reviews, but the experience with StreetSmart Mobile is so awful that it warrants one. The application is nowhere as functional and useable as the mobile offerings from TD Ameritrade (thinkorswim) or IBKR (TWS). The graphs don’t support indicators. The trading ticket is very basic and doesn’t support more complex orders like one-triggers-OCO. And forget about tracking PnL correctly on Futures products. One hopes that Schwab wraps up the integration with TD Ameritrade soon, brings over thinkorswim to support their accounts, and nukes StreetSmart Mobile from orbit. PS: All of this is such a departure from the regular Schwab Mobile app, which is excellent for what it is meant to do..Version: 2.0.5

✓ InvestorThis is a miserable app and one about which Schwab should be ashamed! It seems to have the same deficiencies described years ago. I would most notably mention the fact that the streaming frequently freezes, potentially leading a user to believe that a price is stable when, in fact, it may be increasing or decreasing dramatically! ✓ Fails @ LoginAs a Schwab customer, I expected the StreetSmart mobile to work. After submitting the user ID and password and hitting Login, next a message pops up regarding Forex, Futures and margin. After selecting OK in the message box, the password field is empty and has to be typed in again. After reentering the password, the message box appears again. It’s a constant circle that never resolves, blocking any ability to actually log in. Frustrated, I deleted the app..Version: 2.0.5
✓ Disgracefully bad appThis app is pathetically bad - I have lost thousands of dollars in poor/sluggish execution due to it messing up my trades or requiring me to re-enter them. Aside from its labyrinthine design and poor execution, the user interface is horrifically ugly and dated - evoking late 90’s internet platforms. I’m not sure what kind of customer this app is made for, because it doesn’t suit anyone. ✓ Now totally broken with IOS 15.4 ☹️☹️☹️☹️Was already horrible with the removal of all the biometric logon functions that many others have mentioned. Now totally broken with latest IOS 15.4 update. ✓ They broke Face IDIf the goal is to have more security, Schwab is going in reverse. I am considering changing my Schwab password to something less complex because I trade futures and have to use this app when away from my PC. This app is unusable with a complex password that has to be entered each time I use the app. Also, it gives an error when trying to use iOS keychain to log in. What’s the deal with that? ✓ Bad data feeds and always crashingI’ve been using the app to trade futures and futures options. The data feed seems buggy as its giving incorrect prices for p&l purposes which could scare someone into thinking they’ve lost on certain futures positions. Needs massive improvement not just on the accuracy of their quotes but the stability of the app is just unreliable. I’ve had this app crash multiple times and to makes matters worse, it tends to hang up when trying to pull simple quotes. I hope Schwab fixes these bugs. The integration with optionxpress is now complete and the question comes whether or not they want to continue supporting the futures segment of their business..Version: 1.0.1
✓ Unusable at market openOverall, it’s a solid app that is easy to use but it frequently is unusable at market open. Nothing but error messages, connection problems and spinning wheels. A good platform on the desktop but infuriating when attempting to trade the market open - which basically makes the whole app unusable because it’s not available for the heaviest trade part of the day. ✓ Even worse than it was beforeI use Street Smart Edge daily as I trade options, stocks and futures and I have been a schwab customer for many years. Now, Schwab came up with a new “update” which requires that I manually type in my password each time. Previously, I was able to use my FaceID and Apple Keychain to save my password. Now, I have to manually copy my password and paste it into the Password field. This ads extra clicks for me. Schwab is awful. If anyone thinks otherwise, you are wrong. ✓ FRUSTRATING!!I’m seriously thinking that the people that wrote the 5-star reviews work for Schwab. I opened an account alongside my Ameritrade account as the E-Minis are 20-50% amount if you day trade and are out by the end of the day. I’ll typically make 10+ trades a day (effortlessly with my other app) but Schwab would allow me to do 2 contracts for every 1. Unfortunately when there are so many errors and misquotes, it’s not worth it. I’ll keep my money in there for now but I’ll hold off on using the app until it’s come into this century!!! ✓ Doesn’t add up!Have been monitoring my positions...options prices are streamed nicely but spreads don’t total correctly and/or refresh. I really like the positions display because it groups all strategy options together as such but needs to title that grouping with the underlying stock. Also wish desktop version had this display format. Still not totaling options correctly. Guess it’s not important to them.
