✓ Cute little robotsI was let down today with my online order from Tesco. My order was cancelled, no delivery drivers. I needed food for today so I gave the robot delivery a go. ✓ Awesome first experienceDownloaded the app out of interest then since there was a £3 off offer placed a small shopping order. It was really easy to use and only took around 20 min from placing order to delivery! It’s all operated by phone so don’t even need to type address it just comes to where your phone is. It’s arrival was OBSCENELY exciting!!! I mean really how can you get so excited about a robot delivering your breakfast??? The shop didn’t have all I wanted (Budgens with no washing up liquid come on...) but the whole experience of using the app and receiving the delivery was awesome. ✓ Convenient and accurateThe tracking and notification process was spot on and quite user friendly. I was entertained by the “talking” feature of the robot. I will add that the snack machines charge 2 and 3 dollars for a candy bar but I could order en entire HOT breakfast with starship for only a dollar or more. Very worth it..Version: 2.24.8

✓ Map needs fixingThe overall experience was good, but I was unable to track the robot‘s progress in the app. I got shown a map of Europe and was unable to zoom in. I suspect this was because I have an iphone 8 with a small-ish screen and some buttons were off screen. Also the only payment option is card. That’s not really standard on a modern app. This makes the app look a bit cheap to be honest. Oh and the robot played the wrong song on arrival. ✓ App is glitchy, can’t see your past ordersLOVE the concept, huge fan. Order from them all the time. The app needs some love, it’s glitchy. I often find myself messaging with their support If they don’t have any of the items in your order, it’ll just cancel your order with no communication. ✓ Afternoon TreatSo Glad that Costa has now added starship to its delivery service, The robot came on time with everything I had ordered all packed up lovely with no spillages Drink was perfect temperature. ✓ OMG A LIFE SAVER IN A PANDEMICI really like using this for the first time this is why am leaving a review. I needed basic essentials and I couldn’t leave the house and I couldn’t get a delivery with any of the supermarkets. So glad they delivered within 15 minutes from my local co-op, and this has really helped a lot. I will try them again for maybe hot food and see how well it does. ✓ Missouri S&T, Robot DeliveryToday I decided to take a walk with my older brother who is currently a Missouri S&T student. I recently heard about these robots who deliver drinks and food, so I wanted to try it out. It was a wait, however, the happiness this cute robot brought was unmatchable…. Watching it deliver the food while avoiding obstacles, then playing free music of my choosing was phenomenal! It’s cool to see robots driving up and down the sidewalks to their destinations. ✓ First impressionsLiterally tried ordering a meal two hours ago from a spot that’s not even two minutes away, and when the robot finally starts driving toward me and arrives my order is missing. I have respect to the late night workers who can cook a meal at this time but it’s still situational. Overall you’re better walking to the food spot and sitting down to wait and receive your meal than using this app because at least then you’re not wasting your money for something that’s more of an inconvenience. I do have respects for the customer support that tried to help me out but overall they gave me a refund and free delivery coupon essentially. ✓ Bad service made betterSo I am pregnant and currently in isolation for the next 12 weeks and thought I would use this service to get my essentials - well I was wrong or so I thought. So after trying for an hour to place my order using 2 phones and 2 cards and god knows how many phone calls I finally managed to place an order of less than the stated item amount coming to little over £30 the app told me it would be 14 minutes this was at 6pm. After 30 minutes of waiting and this not changing I called the help service and was told it will be no longer than another 30 minutes which I was more than ok with. An hour later at 7:30pm I called and was told my order was on its way which I again I was happy with as it meant that I did not have to leave my house. At 8:10pm my truck finally arrived but it was EMPTY completely empty so I called again and was told there was nothing that could be done and all they can do is offer me a £5 voucher and a call back. After waiting another 30 minutes I called again and I was told that they could offer me a refund which will take 3 working days and it’s Easter weekend which means I won’t get it by the end of the week. This was the last of my money and these were items I needed for the week and I’m being told there was nothing that could be done. After an hour speaking to the really kind customer service lady my order was delivered today slightly different from the original but here none the less..Version: 2.0.9
✓ Fab delivery botFor the price it’s a great little delivery service and as a family we were massively entertained watching our bot roll down the street. Unfortunately the 75 minute prediction of time was actually about 150 minutes (yes 2.5 hours) but we forgive it as we realise it’s learning the area! We witnessed various cars and people blocking its path which obviously massively slows the journey down but as people get used to seeing them around im sure the novelty will wear off!.Version: 2.19.8

✓ Wow - it actually workedThis is amazing. I didn’t think it would work, but a robot actually delivered some shopping for me and it arrived in about 30 mins. This robot drives on the pavement on its own, and you unlock the the robot from your phone. I think I’m living in the future!!! Perfect for when I don’t want to drive to the shops. ✓ Super convenient service!There are many reviews about long delivery times or food arriving cold, but I’m guessing most of those occur during peak hours. Every time I’ve ordered from the robots, my order arrives in under 45 minutes and the right temperature as well! There are certainly improvements to be made, but I think they’re headed in the right direction and making lots of people’s lives a lot easier right now. It is painful to walk to get food in the cold or while I’m busy studying which is why the robots are very helpful!.Version: 1.6.87

✓ Starship reviewedI will use it again, but was disappointed with the original delivery delay and even more so by the 24 minutes added to the initial 63 minutes had I been waiting especially for the items in the delivery I would have been furious, happily wasn’t and enjoyed watching my new robotic friend manoeuvre the crossings when actually in my road. I talked to him or her rather like a human and thanked for the delivery and told it to be careful on its way home. ✓ Bit over cautious on pedestrian crossingWatched it sat at the traffic lights at the Lawnswood arms for around 20m. Went over to it to see if I could intercept early and save it the bother. It asked us to press the button for the crossing and said thanks. Didn’t take the opportunity though. Tried getting it to follow us a few times and eventually it did. Very frustrating. ✓ Do androids dream of electric reindeers?This was a great experience. The robot was quicker than stated, it navigated the unusual and crowded parking in the cul-de-sac where I live. I love the fact that it had a reindeer face and antlers on. However, for me personally I would prefer to see a more robotic persona 🤖 There are so many times I have forgotten an essential from the shops and although this purchase today was purely for the experience of the robot in future I would use this service to save myself a trip out, especially if I can put that time to better use at home. It won’t make me lazy, I can just use my time better. I really hope these are here to stay, I think they are a fantastic idea and could be utilised in many ways.
