✓ Issues with widgetsLove the app and have the widget showing rain in 3 hour blocks for my location but the widget has stopped working recently saying that an ‘error occurred, check settings, request failed.’ I have made no changes to my phone or app settings so have no idea why the widget isn’t working. The app works fine and my location is all correct. I’ve tried a phone reset and reinstalled the app but nothing works. I’m leaving the review in hopes the develop sees because the ‘contact’ on the app store just takes me to the web browser version where I can’t see any contact info..KaminokillerVersion: 17.1

✓ Almost GreatIt’s one of the best weather apps I’ve found since Weather Underground turned into garbage many years ago. Still, it’s awkward to use. There needs to be easier ways to set the current location and reset the view to “current time” after sliding into the future. The interface is design over function and is often frustrating. Again though, it’s better than 99% of the weather apps out there and at least isn’t owned by The Weather Channel or Accuweather…yet..Q4242Version: 24.0.1

✓ Great app, one feature missing...This is truly an amazing app. Shows you a great deal of data. The only thing I wish you can add is daylight hours, this could be done by making another layer: just like weather, wind etc... Maybe call it "daylight Hours". So when we somebody views Australia on the map you can see figures over the country map. You can then compare and see daylight hours of each country..UsmansajidVersion: 4.0

✓ Reboot frequencyI had used the free version for a few years. I upgraded to the paid version a few months ago. Since the upgrade both on my phone and iPad, it freezes at the log-in screen every couple of days. I have to delete the app and download it again from the App Store. Then I have to reset all my preferences. Not sure which bug fixes were accomplished recently, but this instability bug should be the next one worked on. ✓ Great data, not so great graphicsI love the information you provide however I find your use of colors with the text and fonts to be substandard. First, one should be able to adjust the size of the font. Often I am trying to determine small black numbers on a dark background, like tracking wind speed on the ocean, or radar where water is dark grey. The numbers are a small, thin, black font. That makes the app useless. You should have a way to change that..Cspear322Version: 22

✓ Great all in one App but clouds are hard to seeI work as a photographer outdoors and use a small set of App’s to get the forecast I need. I do like this App a lot, it has a good interface, lots of options - which could be improved with an option for buttons to quickly job between favourites type of info, or a swipe across screen. There is one big issue though and I can’t find anywhere in the App to report it to the developers or support and that is the cloud rendering. It’s impossible to tell if your looking at land/sea or cloud! I’d guess clouds are white so it probably is the light grey colour, but again it could be the moody light blue. PLEASE can we either have more contrast, different colours - land green, sea blue and clouds white would be very obvious. Or a slider to change the opacity of the clouds. As a very basic function it’s falls down on this big time. Meaning I have to switch to another App that does it well. Actually none a very good but with the basics that you have here with a colour tweak it would be the best. If the developers can respond and fix this I’m back up to a five star rating! Thank you. ✓ OK overallI started using Ventusky after it was announced that Dark Sky was being discontinued. I like it overall, because it has pretty much all the weather information I want/need. I find the presentation a bit overwhelming, though. So MUCH info! The one thing I wish was front and center is the radar map view that shows where the rain is. I live in a rainy place and really appreciate the ability to quickly see the weather windows when I can get outside for a walk in between rainstorms!.Xyz123ppkklllVersion: 23.1

✓ Hmmm, it’s alright I suppose.It’s an ok app, I don’t find myself using it as much compared to others I have. The thing that annoys me the most is that you cannot select multiple layers on the map. I would like to see the temperature then whether it’s cloudy as well as if it’s raining or not. Unfortunately these are 3 layers that cannot be combined. Yes there is an hour by hour forecast page like many other apps but I particularly bought this app so I could see the map view and forecast. ✓ 2 stars to 3 starsWhen I initially wrote this review I got this app because of the detail you can see with it on an hourly time frame. At the time of writing my initial review I rated 2 stars because after an update the 1 hour time frame was not an option anymore. Now the 1 hour time frame is back as an option so I will bump it 3 stars. My reasoning is even though the 1 hour is an option as it moves through each 1 hour time frame on a majority of them the weather doesn’t change at all until every 3rd 1 hour time frame frame. Also because of the developer response I got from my initial 2 star review stating that the 1 hour time frame being removed as an option was not true. I had the app open in front of my very eyes, searched through numerous settings to try to find the 1 hour time frame that was not showing anymore..QultyMttrsVersion: 4.2

I would like to see a better local forecast summary. I think the data is there in the drag up view but maybe better options for views or formatting. ✓ Weather app that doesn’t tell weather *UPDATED*I work outside an use this app to see how much snow is on the forecast. This app has extremely inaccurate snow totals as it is currently telling me to expect 0.04 inches of precipitation in the next three hours. I’ve gotten more snow than that since I started typing my this review. I would think snowfall totals are a basic necessity for a weather app The developer responded telling me I need to multiply the precipitation values by 10 in order to get the snow cover. That is still inaccurate because that would mean there is 0.4 inches of snow on the ground. There is currently 2 feet. The developer also stated I could simply use the snow cover map layer. That’s just as useless because it’s telling me there is 4 inches in the ground. Try 24.IamcodycampbellVersion: 14.0.2

✓ Wanted to like it don’t understand the ratings it’s received soMost advanced weather app? Hardly no street level data just a gray background for the map? It’s a great App for showing all the data there’s no level two radar options in the US no USGS maps satellite maps all I get is a gray background even free apps off or more. This app has a great potential but for what you pay and what you get sorry it just doesn’t make it. Been using the app for less than three weeks I’ve already had to uninstall and reinstall twice because it failed to open it would give you the initial splash screen and then exit the application still evidently very buggy.
