✓ Great game but way too many ads 😕I really love Unicorn, it has so many pictures to colour in and even import your own in. But I don’t know if it’s just my phone, but I used to only get about say 3 ads while using the app, but now every time I press on the screen an ad rolls in and all I can do to finish the picture is watch an ad. ✓ Wonderful, but one problemI recently downloaded this, and it’s addictive!! It IS a stress reliever, and it’s really entertaining. And I would give this five stars, but like every app, everything about Unicorn isn’t absolutely perfect. I was a bit angered when I found out that most of these little picture things have a plus on them, and I realized it’s asking for you to pay money every week. It was really annoying when I figured that out, because more than half the pictures had that plus. There weren’t that much options to which it didn’t have the plus, and those sometimes weren’t as awesome-looking as the ones wITH the plus. Not everyone has the money to pay, like, seven dollars a wEeK so you could have unlimited drawing pictures. Just angered by the fact you make us pay...not many of us are able to afford that. ✓ Bad.I think this app is a complete rip off of sandbox. Sandbox has way more pictures to do and a whole range of realistic ones , cartoon ones , easy ones etc. All for someone without paying. There are way too many drawings in this app that you have to pay to be able to use and way too many ads. Plus the ones that are "realistic" are really pixilated. Yes i understand it's supposed to be but the realistic sandbox ones are pixilated but actually look real. I couldn't find one realistic/hard one on this app. It's very slow when you tap a square because of the expulsions effect that happens. And overall the app is just overly done. Too many ads, not enough drawings and not worth the money. I definitely recommend sandbox. It's much quicker , less bulky , less ads and a much bigger variety of drawings to choose from even if you don't pay..Version: 1.1.3
✓ OK for the most part but is something wrong?Even though this game is very similar to sandbox which I cannot confirm came out before this but I'm pretty sure it did and the many of the pictures cost money to be able to color, aside from the few images that I wished to do the maiden thing that I wanted to do with this app was color in my own Photos. At first I just thought that you could only use your own pictures but when I read the update notes it said that you could use pictures that you have downloaded into your Photos which made me get very excited immediately so I quickly downloaded the app and gave it permission to access my Photos camera and give me notifications just to make sure everything worked then I went to import a Photo and when I press done nothing happened except for a completely black photo! After they have a tried deleting and then reinstalling the app, scaling the pictures it all different ways but nothing works. I will try and delete a few apps that I don't use anymore since that seems to fix some issues with other apps that I've had but I'm not too sure that it's going to work. If it does work I will come back and read it four stars instead of two but if it does not I have to ask what it's happening?.Version: 2.0.1
✓ Not the right app for a subscriptionThis app is wonderful and I want to give 5 stars but your big let down point is that it’s a subscription. I’m sure many people would pay a one time payment to own this app, but a subscription (especially one so high) is asking too much. You will lose interest from people for what looks like greed. ✓ Greedy game makers. Extortionate. Stole money after subscription cancelledThis is a nice little game, but it’s nothing completely special, different or eye- popping. What on earth gives them the idea that it is worth £7 a week? It is only available in subscription and although the amount is reduced if you buy a month or a year it is still massively expensive. It is a very basic game. The import your own photos option is great and if it wasn’t for the price I would be very happy to have this game to tinker with. At this price there is no way I am keeping it. Stupid, stupid money. They give you only 3 days free trial and make you jump through hoops to cancel. I kept a week, but am regretting giving these greedy people any money at all, to be honest and I hope they read this and it makes them think. I would love to know what their justification is for charging such an extortionate amount of money for a basic game. People are not idiots and I, for one am cancelling for sure. ✓ Sharing issueI used to love this app… I didn’t mind the crazy amount of ads because I recognized that that’s how they supported the app to be free (although the amount of ads are still excessive). I used to use the sharing option to post my personal images to Instagram. For some reason, that functionality was recently removed! In addition, they still advertise that functionality in the app images on the App Store! The sharing issue and the ads warrant the average rating… the reason it still gets 3 stars is because the actual “color by number” experience is better than the other apps on the App Store..Version: 5.5.0

✓ Kinda goodThis game is amazing and I love but the two reasons why I think it's bad is : 1. The ads ,every time you colour something you need to watch an ad and then when you come off again you need to watch another ad 2. The package when you want to colour something that looks really cool you can't because you need to spend money to cod it and I get they need to earn money but surely you can put more pictures to colour that are free. But dont worry you get a 3 day trial on premium until it starts charging you without your consent until you can find that hidden page to remove the subscription. The premium features aren’t really that good. But guess what, if you don’t want to pay (drumroll) you can watch a billion ads for one go at a premium feature then it takes it away for you to watch more ads. ✓ App made of gold... apparently.Soooo... I don’t often leave reviews of apps however this time I felt compelled to do so by the utter lunacy of the developer’s money grab. This would be a great app that would certainly earn some money from me as my son enjoys it... however there is no way I’m doing that after finding out the exorbitant cost to upgrade to premium. With the free version you are extremely limited on the number of picture you have access to. Now normally I would upgrade to premium for a decent price... say in the $10 range? Not this app though. They want $8 per WEEK!!! Think about that. We’re talking about $416 for a year. FOUR HUNDRED AND SIXTEEN DOLLARS!!! I don’t spend that much on triple A console titles in 2 years time. I could go get myself a brand new PS4 console and like 3 of the best games of the year.... for about the same price as this game. Plus I would own those items. They would be mine for ever and ever. ✓ Images look good but very frustratingI’ve been using Unicorn for a while now, and it’s really great. Colour schemes work well, and range from easy to hard. I find myself using the ‘Selfie’ option the most, and I enjoy using my own images. However when I watch the ad, TO THE END, and I click on the ‘x’ button to exit the ad (on the page where it says ‘download the app’) Unicorn gives a message saying, ‘Not valid, you need to watch the video to the end’ And this glitch or whatever has been bothering me so much for the past year I gave up for a good two months. Please fix it, it’s unfair that I have to watch like ten videos sometimes when you promised only one..Version: 4.3.0
✓ Too many advertsI used to have this game for a while and it wasn’t bad. I would play it a lot when I was bored. BUT I decided to make my own pixel with my own photo, but whenever I tried to even touch the screen it would give me an advert. I knew that I was obviously going to get adverts, but not every time I even touched the screen. If this wasn’t a problem I would definitely give this app a 4 star. ✓ Glitches? Hacking?Firstly, I don’t have an issue with the app itself. The control and graphics are great - it 100% does what it says in the description. However, (this has never happened before) out of nowhere a highly explicit pornographic video popped up on my screen for about 5 seconds. It wasn’t an advertisement for anything, it was simply a video that filled the screen without any way of closing it. Luckily it was me playing the game and I’m of age so although I‘m shocked and disturbed, it wasn’t someone younger playing this app. My young nieces play this game on my phone - I don’t know what I would’ve done had this video popped up on my screen when one of them had been playing! I’m not sure what happened here but please sort this out! I don’t feel comfortable having this app installed on my phone until I know why this happened and know it won’t happen again..Version: 4.6.2
✓ Awesome app, but a few kinks.I have been using this app for a long time and have always loved the satisfaction of finishing a drawing, but recently there have been a few problems. One of these is the ads. From my previous usage you should be able to click on some drawings and be able to color them without watching an ad, but this hasn’t been the case. Now when I click on any drawing and ad always plays, and considering there are always the ads that will randomly pop up it just makes it seem like the app is being taken over by too many ads. Another problem is that you can not play offline anymore. As said above you used to be able to color any drawing that didn’t need an ad to be watched (signified by the blue arrow in top right corner of a drawing), and as also said it seems that no matter what drawing you click on there will be ads. Now I like to play this game when either taking a break from my day, in a waiting room, or whenever I just need to relieve a bit of stress and because I like to conserve cellular data I used to play this game without internet. Now because of the new feature where it says “no internet” I haven’t had the easiest time with this. I hope these bugs can be fixed in the near future! :).Version: 4.17.1
✓ Okay, but there are some issuesFirstly - the new update where it instantly goes to the next colour after you have finished but this makes you erase a few pixels. This could be easily fixed by making it go to the next colour when you take your finger off the screen. ✓ I enjoy it but...I love the game, it's fun to play, it's relaxing, and I've been known to play it for hours on end. However, it consistently bugs and closes the game. I lose my progress and every time I get back to where I was before (usually only a few coloured blocks), the game crashes again. I'm thoroughly disappointed with the bugs. I've tried deleting the game, and downloading it again, and even turning my device off and back on again. Nothing has worked. This has happened again and again on at least two separate occasions. ✓ Activision made a coloring game.So I'll start by saying this is actually a fun coloring game. Very simple and as the description states. However the developers of this game are extremely greedy. I'm ok with ads in free apps, but what I'm not ok with is an ad every time I tap on something or forcing me to watch one while in the middle of a picture. Not only are you spammed with ads at an alarming rate but 75% of the time the ads don't even load. They pop up the first frame of the ad and it'll just freeze up and do nothing. Force closing and reopening works to remedy this and the picture is saved and waiting for your return. At which point you'll start back where you were just for another ad to pop up (you didn't actually watch that last one). Ok so the ads gotta go, let's go buy the ad remover......$8 a week. Seriously? $8 a week to remove ads and get access to all the pictures? Within 7 weeks you've paid almost enough to afford a AAA title. Just to color ad free. ✓ Bruh the ads ???Used to like the game until ads were added before AND after each FREE drawing. I understand that there are both free and paid drawing options but with the increase in ads that was added, there is quite literally no difference between unlocking a paid drawing by watching an ad, and doing a “free” drawing. Because the “free” option still gives you TWICE the amount of ads. Free should mean no ads, aka the way the app used to be. Also there’s a few seconds of lag in the game every couple of minutes that is very annoying idk if that’s a bug or something but it gets quite aggravating when you can’t have smooth gameplay in a game like this..Version: 4.19.0

✓ The app crashes before I can open itI love this app. Sure it may have a stupid amount of adds but I love importing photos on the hardest setting and sure it may get the color wrong but I love it still… until today I had imported an image from Five Nights at Freddy’s Security Breach Ruin while listening to the Game Theorists podcast and halfway through finishing the image the app crashing now this is very normal so I go to get back into the app and a black screen appears for a spilt second and it crashes again. I then begin to panic and power off my phone and turn it back on and it crashes again. I haven’t deleted the app yet because I don’t want to lose 2 years and hundreds of photos worth of data. ✓ I don’t know why I still have this on my phoneI have installed this game before, and it was very glitchy. Now, I have to crash the app to get anything else to work. I also have a glitch where when I try to move to a different location, it takes me to the top right corner of the screen. The only way to get out of that is to either crash the game or wait for the glitches to stop so you can zoom out and back to the area you were in. One other thing is: STOP THE BUZZING WHEN YOU CLICK THE WRONG NUMBER! It annoys me when I hear BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP! ✓ Ads every 10 secondsI love the game, I would rate it 5 stars if it weren’t for the ads. I appreciate how you need to make money, but it’s absolutely unbearable. I very 5-10 seconds you get a 20 second long unskippable ad. That means that 2 thirds of the game is ads. That is absolutely ridiculous. Update: now I’m getting 60 second ads with a 5 second gap between them. For every second I play the game, I have to watch 12 seconds of advertisements. That is ludicrous. Now, I beg you not to reply to this with the usual: “hi, we’re very sorry that you do not enjoy our game. ✓ Free? Not really......This app is a really cool concept and it’s made well. But unfortunately you cannot do much without paying for a “full version” which is really annoying. Personally I look for the apps without in-app purchases and 99% of them are actually better than the pay ones. You cannot do much on unicorn without a pay subscription so if you really wanted people to pay to use your app then you should just have it as a pay u front app without the in-app purchases. To be honest it’s just a pixel colour by number app that is the same than any other (even the new features) the only difference is that you have to pay which is silly considering the simple concept of the app. Even sandbox is better. ✓ A little nice game but.....I think unicorn is a fun and entertaining game for me and I enjoy playing it very much. What’s also great about it is that it even shows how to play it like other game do instead of just jumping right in to it. On the other hand it can be a bit annoying at some points like when you tap the wrong number for a colour it beeps quite loudly at even if you turn your ringer off and your volume off it still makes a beep. ✓ Extornionate App and inappropriate App Store designThis App is designed to look fun and attractive to young kids rather than The Adults it professes to be applicable too. Cartoony stars, Unicorns, all look like fun to kids who can easily get drawn into a free trial and then their parent get stung into a very expensive subscription. The marketing and images, and title of this app need changing significantly to make it perfectly clear it is for adults. I by chance discovered that I had been billed over 70 pounds for a purchase I knew nothing about and I am sure my young child didn’t realise what they were adding either. Thankfully I have managed to get some of this back via apple support but this type of incident should not happen. Possibly some extra level of validation in the subscription process that validates age. Be it a question or a.n.other thing might help. Jumping up and down, flashing rainbow colors, they are impossible to ignore. Not to mention the garish “FINISH NOW” button that constantly looms at the top of the screen. I have used this app for the last five years, mostly enjoying the experience, but with each update, I have had to endure the constant “improvements” made, such as addition of the bucket and bomb icons to begin with, or the way that the selected color is automatically centered for some reason. These changes I tolerated, but the latest changes are simply unbearable. It has turned a once relaxing, almost meditative activity into an annoying, flashy cash grab. I also paid to remove ads, but apparently this does not apply to the “ads” of the app itself. I would greatly appreciate if these new changes could be removed. ✓ Needs work on a Saving PortionI was happy when I saw an app like this when I downloaded it and opened it I was a little surprised to see that somethings were locked well really most things were locked there are very little pictures so you can color for free though you can import any pictures you want now I thought this would be a great app and I was getting ready to write a great review but I decided to hold off and fiddle with the mechanisms a little more when I import the picture I put it on the hardest mode that you can and I started coloring it I had colored for about two or three hours when my app crashed the instant it crashed I was upset and I was frantic when I opened it back up and went to the image that I had imported it had not been so called said colored meaning that all my hours of work had not been saved and I had to restart that picture from scratch I was very deeply upset and I don’t think until this is fixed that I will continue on this app maybe when they have an update on this this will be fixed and I will come back but from now on I warn anyone who is wanting to color seriously beware to save your work every so often need an exit out and then come back in I made that mistake and it upset me deeply I do not want anyone who wants to color seriously to be upset good luck everyone..Version: 2.0.1
✓ Importing disasterTo begin this app isn't necessary for a person like me because I love to draw and having whatever creative freedom I'd desire. None the less, I enjoy a challenge. Therefore instead of using the provided pictures I would use the import option and modify it to the most difficult level. As I would work on the pictures I would either become bored or have something else to do. So I would exit out of the app. Only to come back to it later to find that all my progress hasn't been saved. This it self is quite frustrating. After the first time this happened I would make sure I pressed the "share" button to make sure it would save, but like I stated earlier I liked to use the hardest option possible. In this it would take me a while to get done and if I spent a long time on the same picture I would get stuck. I would press share or the back buttons but nothing would happen forcing me to just exit out. Then all my progress would be lost. If you're looking for an app just to pass time this is for you, but if you want creative freedoms and the ability to save your difficult work I wouldn't recommend it..Version: 2.0.1
✓ At Least...This app would’ve been great fun if it weren’t for the amount you have to pay each week, what app charges £7 weekly? If you are willing to pay this amount on a weekly basis, go ahead, but it isn’t worth it. The only reason I gave this three stars and not one is because of the fact that it allows you to select your own photos and colour them in yourself, this is a great feature and it allows you to select the level of difficulty too. ✓ Unicorn is my obsessionI downloaded the app this morning, whilst searching for something to numb my brain cells and this was the perfect game for me. It requires no talent or skill but just tapping the screen in different places. It doesn’t involve any ACTUAL thinking or brain usage at all. If you love mindlessly tapping a blank white canvas like screen with squares and numbers for LITERAL hours to complete the exquisitely detailed murals and portraits included, than this app is for you. The best part of this app is the import option where you can colour your own already pictures that you have taken with your probably overpriced phone. It leaves the picture looking exactly as it did before, only with a slight pixilation that no one asked for, but everyone wanted. ✓ Premium weekly😡😩😫I don’t like the premium weekly because 1 you need to pay and 2 for the people who don’t want it then they have barely anything to colour so I don’t have the app any more and am using pixel art. ✓ Please Fix This IssueI love this app, it’s cool that you can import your own pictures. But to the developers, can you PLEASE make it so that once a square is colored in IT STAYS colored in. It’s so frustrating when you accidentally click a square that you have already colored in and the square becomes uncolored again. This even happens sometimes when you zoom out on the picture and you end up accidentally clicking a bunch of squares you already had colored in and then you have to tediously go back and color them all in again. I’ve seen other color by number apps where once you color a square in, its locked and it won’t be reset if you click it again. Please add this feature if it is an easy fix. I would use this app more if this didn’t happen, it just becomes so frustrating. I even gave my 6 year old cousin my phone to color some stuff and even she noticed this and said it’s so annoying. ✓ You need more free stuffOk so I was in love with your app at first but I ran out of things to colour in. I decided to buy some other apps and once I started using them I bearly used yours, they have way more free pictures and you do not have to watch an add to import a photo. You can use the bucket to fill for free and if you double tap on a colour square it takers you directly to that colour, this makes it easier, quicker and more fun to colour. I like how you can watch videos for the otherwise locked pictures, but I don’t like this new thing where you have to watch multiple videos for one. The iPad version is completely different. ✓ CrashesI love this game, it's stress relieving and a good time waster (don't forget fun!) but, the app crashes sometimes as I am coloring a picture. I worked on one of the harder pictures for about an hour and a half, and then all of a sudden it crashed and I was so upset. I finished the picture afterwards without it crashing, so that was good. But then it started crashing more and more as I colored more pictures. I'm not saying it crashes A LOT, I'm just saying that it crashes every once in awhile so don't forget to save maybe every time you finish using a color. The problem with saving by exiting, is that an ad pops up when you click on a picture to come up, so sometimes you are going through like 15 ads each picture, which I am tired of. They should add in an automatic save that saves every 5-10 min. When you are coloring a picture, you get so focused on the picture and you forget all about the crashes. Another problem is that sometimes, the game will not save my picture as I'm going along and saving it. I was working on a picture, then I pressed the exit button, and it hadn't saved. I didn't realize until this morning that it didn't and I am really mad. I don't know if I'll play the game anymore. If they fix these problems, I probably will. ✓ Good game, just needs more optionsSo first of all, i like it very much. It’s super addicting and relaxing, but there are a few problems i have with it: Ads. There are ads everywhere, all the time. If i want to draw something, Boom. Ad. Just exploring the app, Boom. Ad. Sometimes i accidentally click on the ads and i’m forced to open the app store and it’s very annoying. Another problem is that it vibrates whenever i color in the wrong space. I can’t find any settings, so it seems there’s no way to turn it off. ✓ Used to love this app, until they changed itI used to use this app every single day to unwind and relax. I love the feature where you can add your own photos, and I love how you can decide how many pixels you want in your photos for more or less detail. But fairly recently, the app was updated and now it’s impossible to color outside of the lines. Previously, if you touched a pixel of the wrong color, it would vibrate to tell you that you’ve colored the wrong pixel and the pixel would be tinted the wrong color so you’d have to touch it again to make it white again. Now, it’s impossible to color the wrong pixel, which means there is no challenge whatsoever. I could just drag my finger over the whole photo and only the pixels of the color selected would get colored in; I don’t have to go along the lines at all. ✓ I used to love it.So I’ve been a big fan of this app, and I would of still been using it to this day,, but there’s been a huge bug that unfortunately stopped this from happening.
