✓ If you like KSP you’ll love thisThis game uses procedural parts for rocket building instead of a limited number of parts, can be overwhelming at first if you’re used to the latter but after playing around with it for a little while I got the hang of it. Launching the rocket is pretty straight forward, steering is easy just make sure staging is correct on the build screen. Transfer nodes work a lot the same as KSP. Getting something to the moon or other planets can be challenging but fun..Version: 0.8.107

If so, ignore my last sentence. And with the screen thingy, I make two buttons and it thinks that when I press one button, it does what the other button is supposed to do. I programmed it all correctly, so it should work how I want it to, but it doesn’t. Message to SimpleRockets 2 users: If you’re game is crashing every 5 seconds, I figured out how to make it go away! ✓ Love it!I love this game, it resembles KSP to me. Although I have some suggestions and here they are: Please add WORKING escape towers as they would be a GREAT addition to the game. Please allow us to paint and texturise the rocket like you can do in spaceflight simulator full edition. Please add new parts so we can build space shuttles. Please add an actual friction affect on the heat sheild and anything without a heat sheild will explode in the atmosphere. please add areodynamic warheads so we can nuke the place if that isnt too much of a problem and finally please add aerodynamic fuselages and more aerodynamics. Please add all of these things if that aint too much of a problem and if you dont then thats okay. Well done to the developers, you should be proud of yourselfes! ✓ Five starsThis is a highly polished 3D rocket and plane building and flying sim. It’s a bit like KSP, but for mobile. 3D Flight and map views. Orbital mechanics seem very realistic, as do gravity and air resistance models. Lots of customisation options. In 24 hours since release I’ve only really scratched the surface, but seen enough to make me recommend this without hesitation. Well done Jundaroo, this is great. ✓ It’s crazy it’s on mobile!I’ve played simpleplanes for a long time and when I heard of SimpleRockets 2 I got really excited. Sure it took awhile, but once it was on mobile I pre-ordered it and I can say it’s great. I haven’t messed around with it too much yet but it seems to do everything it can do on the computer and I know it can only get better from here. Certainly their is room for improvement and refinement but if you’re looking for a real space game on iOS that’s 3D, you can go to different planets and build your own crafts, not to mention the many crafts I’m sure will appear with the mobile app, this is the only real not a scam game you can get. ✓ Jundroo FanaticIn depth rocket, rover, spacecraft builder. You can build/engineer things exactly how you want them. Customize parts, shapes, assemblies, you name it. You can build a space station piece by piece, land on the moon, or just try make endless monstrosities try to fly. A really well done port from pc (which I play) with everything in that version, in here, just optimized for mobile. I love physics builders and Jundroo makes the best.. and simple! ✓ Incredible sim, but crashesFirst off I want to say I have been playing Andrew Garrison’s games for what seems like a decade now, and they are always perfect. This one is no exception. It is a masterpiece of a sandbox game, and the amount of graphics options make me a a PC gamer extremely satisfied. Having an HDR setting for my 11 Pro Max was really cool to see. I literally only have one problem, and that is the game crashes every minute, no exaggerating. I tried turning settings down, turning resolution and refresh rate down, but nothing is fixing it. I can’t even try to reach another planet because the game crashes and loses my spot. It’s really disappointing but the game is brand new and I’m certain it will be fixed relatively soon. ✓ The game is amazing, but....So, the game is amazing, the graphics are amazing, the gameplay is amazing, almost everything about this game is amazing. But there is an issue I’m having, I’ve been trying to download some other peoples creations on the simple rockets 2 website, I choose which one I want to download, go back to simple rockets 2, and start up the game, but every time I do, the game ends up crashing, about 6 seconds later. Although, maybe this issue may be because of my iPad, or that the build are just to good for the game to run. Is there a fix to this at all? ✓ It’s fun but I think there could be more interactionsWhat I loved about simple rockets 1 is the interaction you could have with the space station. It felt like there was a purpose of building it and adding new modules to it and making sure to keep enough and air. Building stations across the galaxy and building them was really fun. I feel like now it’s really just building rockets and launching them. Maybe put a rover on another planet but that’s it. You can’t mine or start a base or anything. ✓ Almost perfect!This is by far the best sim that you can buy but there are some things to improve on. 1. Please add more challenges. I have already done all challenges and would like to see more in the future. These could include landing on Mars, crashing into the sun and satellite rendezvous with higher orbits. 2. Add more tutorials. There are hardly any tutorials which makes it hard to start off. Please tutorials like: how to make planes, how to optimize engine efficiency etc. Even though it has some things to improve SimpleRockets2 is still a five star game and is probably twice as good as KSP..Version: 0.8.302

A few things that would be nice are being able to move around burn nodes, set burns right on the apoapsis/periapsis better textures on parts, and some kind of fuel pipe that can move fuel to other tanks like in ksp (I forget what they called it). I like how there are less parts that you can do a lot more with compared to kerbal or SimpleRockets 1, but it does have rotators and hinges which are not in the other 2 and definitely a plus. ✓ Fantastic, well worth the $5I personally am a huge fan of space simulators. I started back in late 2014 with a simple indie game that went by the name of Simplerockets. I shared it with my 5th grade elementary school friends and we got hooked. We spent hours emailing each other our newest save file to get another to add a new module to a space station, or a satellite in a far out planet. Now in my sophomore year of high school, I sent this game to them and they were ecstatic. We all preordered the game and so far are enjoying the game more than the original. I personally have been following the games progress, and have beta tested both the PC and Mobile versions and loved every second of it, and I hope to love the rest of it as well. The game looks beautiful on both platforms, and allows you to be creative in a way you just can’t in other games. Although I’m not good at making a space station I have become really fond of rocket building itself and have built rockets for reaching orbit, ballistic missiles, and am trying to make one that can reach the moon. I loved SimpleRockets 1, but 2 just blows it out of the water. There is literally no limit to what you can do. To the people leaving bad reviews saying it’s “too complicated” or “impossible”: there are plenty of other mindless games out there for people like you that like to just open a game and play without having to think about what you’re doing or do any planning. This isn’t one of those games. Don’t fault SR2 or the developers because you can’t put the time in to figure out how to use it. This game is all about experimentation, design, and tweaking. It’s not the game you just pick up and mess around with for 15 minutes on your lunch break. The controls can be a bit overwhelming at first. I know I was, but I got them down within a day. ✓ Solar system sandboxAfter playing Space Simulator and Spaceflight Simulator this just blew my mind. The complexity of, and in many ways more freedom than in KSP brought to my smartphone is superb. You can build rovers and drive on the planets you are on. You can build planes and fly if your planet has an atmosphere or you can build any spaceship imaginable. ✓ Great, needs work.Great concept and somewhat great execution. Flying the rockets are fun and the controls are user friendly. Building it though? Not so much. Sometimes the camera bugs out, depending on the size of the rocket. Clipping and the touch assist controls are a little clunky and too complicated to use in unison with the right side menu. Remember, your finger takes up a part of the screen, so making it difficult to select certain things because the right side menu is so big and the camera controls are a little wonky is very hindering though. It says that an in progress flight was made, I selected undo flight once and the other time keep flight. I tried over 50 times hard resetting and shutting down every time. ✓ INVEST IN BETTER BUILDING SYSTEMThis game is absolutely phenomenal. It has the potential to be a top 10 app of all time, and it would certainly be endorsed by apple because of its strong STEM ties. However, the building system is too clunky. Sure it may be hard to redesign a building system, but instead of adding new content, this needs to be fixed. The game already has infinite amounts of content and playing time, but the builder system is what keeps many players away. It building a simple rocket can take upwards of 10 minutes due to how hard it is to have a 3D editor. This is because you don’t have to toggle certain controls, you simply press to do upwards of 3 different functions. This can cause unwanted functions occurring, all because tapping selects, dragging moves the camera, and dragging also moves parts. A suggestion I may put forward is a 2D editor, like CAD modeling programs, where the screen is fixed and you drag parts on. That and making a toggle function for building and moving the camera.
