✓ 10/10 on this app for helping kids sleepMy daughter has trouble winding down to fall asleep at night. Which in turn means that I stay up later than I want to more often than not. It’s a pretty common autistic trait to not be great at sleeping and we’re always kind of looking for something to try. A few weeks ago we downloaded this app. It’s really been great. There are relaxing bedtime stories, meditations, and music. They have a bunch of really great pre-made playlists for you. All of the stories take place in “The World of Moshi” and are just about different characters and places within that world. All of the voice actors are great. She still struggles but is more apt to lay still and listen quietly to these stories than she had been previously. Regular audio books and stories aren’t designed with calm in mind and these 100% are. This app is for everyone but it’s especially kiddos with an excitable nature or maybe an anxious mind who might need some help relaxing..Version: 4.0
✓ IncredibleI’ve got two boys ages 2 and 3 who resist bedtime and whose routine changes every few days, the result being a lot of late nights. They can be awake for hours on end with so much energy. Moshi gives me back control over the room, it calms them down instantly, they sit still and honestly (really, I promise!) they’re asleep within seconds - 5 mins. I don’t know why, or how, but it’s the best 29 quid I’ve ever spent. I’ve shown a number of people what happens and they’re amazed. Also you can use it across three devices which I love and one of my fave thing is when you know they’ve nodded but you don’t quite want to walk away yet, you can use the rest of the functions on your device while it keeps playing the story in the background. ✗ Insanely QuietI get that this is a sleep app, I really do. I get that this is supposed to be calming. Maybe the app developers expect kids to play with screens before bed instead of over speakers like I wanted to do. Maybe my kids are the only ones that sleep with fans on and maybe my son is the only kid on the planet that is a tad hard at hearing, but even on my Google Home at 100% volume (which is usually deafeningly loud) my kids can hardly even hear the story. I feel so bad for kids that have legitimately difficult hearing problems trying to use this. We tried an auxiliary speaker, a Bluetooth speaker, my kids echo dot, and just my iPhone and you couldn't even hear a word with the fans on. We have to manually move one of the Google Homes out of another room, reset and Bluetooth connect it every time, and cross our fingers just to hope it works. I'm so glad I didn't pay for it or get sucked into a subscription because it's simply unusable. Like I said, maybe we're the only fan-sleeping family, but the audio should be a little more flexible..Version: 3.1
✗ Don’t waste your time or moneyDownloaded the trial, had to contact their support team twice, tried to cancel the app couldn’t do it, as there was no option under my subscription. Charged me $46 and then Apple tells me request a refund from the app creator and the app creator tells me to request a refund from Apple. The app rarely works, good luck trying to add another device.
