However when I got to level 52 (out of 60) the game lost all my progress and I was reset back to zero. Very frustrating. ✓ Simply AMAZING.I kinda gave up on iPhone games for a while and never really played one of these games at all, but boy when I saw Portal, I had to. It’s a really addictive game and there’s so many different solutions to each level, it’s just super fun to play, so thank you for this experience, I can’t wait to finish all of them. My only actual problem with the game, or I’m not even sure if it’s the game, but playing on iPhone X, with the screen making up the whole phone, the game seems to think I’m purposely touching the screen because my hands are on the edges of the screen, it’s a little irritating because it prevents me from touching anything else on the screen. Maybe add some multi touch function so it doesn’t register my hands on the edge of the screen as me touching the screen. But that’s minor, stills and all this is amazing and deserves 5 stars..Version: 1.0a
✓ Very enjoyable so far!I’m only a few levels in but it’s good fun. If you’ve ever played Bridge Constructor (you should, it’s great), then you’ll feel at home here. It combines the scientific fun of that game with the dark humour of Portal. My only complaint is that it sets landscape mode to the wrong side of the phone- the “bottom” is on the left side of the screen for the player, which is an issue with the vast majority of phone cases. Being given instructions at the beginning by the enrichment Centre (haha) is both informative and hilarious. Having finished the game I have now spent more time fine tuning and perfecting my builds. Being a bit of a perfectionist I’m not happy with the trucks banging around or landing upside down, I have to have everything run smoothly. It has the whimsy, humor and brain frying challenges of the original Portal game, but now with bridge building and structural engineering. I love the “test” mode and how weak areas are highlighted in red and I love the spectacular crashes and crumbling of structures that don’t hold up. ✓ Great gameThis is perhaps one of the greatest ever puzzle games created for the App Store. The attention to detail is incredible and well worth the £4.99. The level of practical realistic engineering requirements are incredible! The writing for GLaDOS is also kind of cute, even though it’s reminiscent of GLaDOS’s cruel humour it doesn’t quite match it. My only draw back is there’s no fast forward button. This would be useful when you’ve solved the problem mentally but need to fine tune it physically and it takes time to rerun the vehicle over the construction again(it could just be that I’m very lazy). But he’s only marred by the tutorial and intensely irritating robot voice and long long long winded descriptions which go on and on way way way too long in a attempt to be ‘funny’ and failing badly.. ✓ Absolutely amazing conceptI would have given this app a 5 star review because of how Amazing it is but there are just one flaw I would like to fix before giving it 5 stars. I wish that when u build a bridge and you are connecting the parts to the orange dots the radius at which they connect was slightly larger. There are many times I build them extremely close and then I have to delete it and and redo it. Even if you have never played Portal, you’ll still enjoy the humor of the game, and I think provides some freshness to the bridge building flash games you have often seem. It has the same puzzling feel like Portal did by manipulating the physics and momentum used to go through Portals like Che had to in the main games, except with little cars. ✓ Amazing puzzler, to concepts merged into one!I was never a fan of bridge constructing game really. This game however has levels designed to make you think... with portals... get it. Anyways I spent way more time than I would like to admit on some of these levels. I could also never put a level down once I started building and realizing what my end goal was. My only gripe with this game is that is needs more levels and I hope the developers keep supporting this game. ✓ Very good gameThis is a slick well designed game. The fantastic presentation, clear distinctive graphics and believable physics make the bridge building process quick, fun and intuitive. However, new gameplay elements are added as the game progresses allowing for much more complex levels. ✓ One thing to fix.Usually if I pay for an app I don’t expect it to have adds. Way to ruin a great game. Above was my first review. However the developers have responded and fixed the issue. So now I can talk about how good this game is. First of all it is not Portal. It’s just a bridge game with a Portal theme. This is definitely not a complaint. I love this new twist of a physics based bridge game. The silly comments from everyone’s favorite AI GLaDOS are delightfully funny and the puzzles very clever. If I have any complaints it’s the issue with cloud syncing. I started on my phone and when I switched to my iPad the game didn’t sync over so I went back to my phone only to find that the cloud sync reset that game. Usually this would just be annoying but you can’t skip the tutorial so I ended up giving up and coming back a day later. The rest of this game is so nice that I can look over that. There is a simple fix however. Other games that utilize this cloud sync will prompt you before resetting your game. The prompt will say something like “newer save found would you like to use the current save of the cloud save”. So really once they fix that I can’t really find anything wrong with the game. I haven’t gotten to the end yet but I’m moving through the levels and I’ve only pulled Googled a solution once. Level 53 was a doozy..Version: 1.1

✓ Three tiny micro fixes needed, levels 1, 14, 20Excellent Game! Only three tiny micro fixes needed so you can get the stick men riders home safe without being thrown from the carts. Possible on every level other than 1, 14, 20. Level 20 in original game. Remove one block from the centre chamber wall so construction can be made inside. Carts path can then be nudged so riders do not fall off when going through the portal. Level 1 in proficiency. Place one orange anchor point anywhere. Level 14 in proficiency. Flatten the ramp right at the end just before the four red force fields so riders don’t get knocked off. Tends to be OCD people who go for this game. Would be great to be able to complete it fully. Other than these fixes a perfect game! Perfectly developed!.Version: 5.2

✓ Wow, what an amazing gameI can’t stop playing this. I even searched and found it for my Nintendo Switch so am playing it on that as well. I am on level 50 on my iPad and a lot lower on the switch. This game has an excellent hook you in to keep you wanting to play more and more. The realism of the bridge designs is brilliant. I just have one feature request which would be really useful. That is an undo option. Sometimes you remove a carefully placed part by mistake, or remove a part that had a negative impact. Being able to undo (perhaps up to 5 undos) would be so useful. Using an iPhone it’s tricky to see when you want to move points as you cant see behind your finger(a zoom bumble like apple’s text bubble comes to mind). A bit more of a snap to the point. When dragging a line or road piece to another it could be more user friendly if it had a slightly more favourable snap than the other miscellaneous points ok the page. I did four to 5 levels before I realised I could do convoy. Kept wondering why I was not getting more than marginal when I aced it. Could be clearer...? Subjective, but I think the text boxes/look and feel of the menus could be a bit More eye candy and less windows dos..Version: 1.1

Save game bug fixed in 1.2 Version 1.1 gets one star because when switching between my iPad and my iPhone, the app continuously says a “new” save file was on the cloud and it actually loaded several levels back. I’ve finished to level 30 twice, and when opening the app at a later time in the day, it says again that it has “new” save file and to “reload.” At this point I can’t get past level 28 because it won’t save new games. I deleted the app and reloaded on both devices, but the same thing happened the second time..Version: 1.2

My only complaint is that even though I paid for the game, I’m still seeing ads between levels. I don’t know why they’re there in the first place, as there is no free version of this app, and there is no IAP to remove them. I saw other reviews complaining about ads appearing, and the developer’s response stating that they’ve fixed it, but as of this review, the game still has ads. I’ve checked for updates and there are none pending for this at the moment on any of my devices. So I don’t know how they fixed it, but they need to go back to the drawing board.
