F1 TV for Negative User Reviews

MehIf the streaming quality would actually work, I’m sure this app would be amazing. As it is, if you want to see pixelated blurry hot messes even though your Internet speed is good, this is the app for you..Version: 2.22.0

Terrible. Get Kayo insteadCan’t even watch full replays of qualifying or other stuff. Like so stupid for a sport that is on at the other side of the world for me and I can’t watch live. And they make you pay for this terrible service. Can I get a refund? What a joke..Version: 2.13.0

PsychoticWorst experience with an app I have ever had..Version: 2.11.2

Good, but…..Would it have been that difficult to put a weekend schedule on there somewhere? So I have to pit stop at a website to look at the times for the various events of the weekend, and then go to your app to watch. A bit silly. Like forgetting to put on all 4 wheels. Bono, my wing is gone!!!!.Version: 2.22.0

Awkward interface with missing PiPNot a fan of the layout, to find a show or race it's all a bit awkward and clunky. But that's a personal gripe, my main missing feature is Pip. Not having PiP basically kills multitasking, in 2022. But great that at least there is an App, so appreciate that. Hope it keeps improving ❤️.Version: 2.2.4

New update is awfulHarder to find things. Seems empty and it doesn’t to show what time the race weekend sessions are at like it did before. Put it back to the way it was..Version: 2.22.0

How does a media company allow this garbage app? This app hasn’t worked right since it was launched. I have emailed F1 support numerous times with my issues. For $100 streaming subscription per year you would think they would figure out a way to get stable app performance. Lots of errors pop up attempting to stream. Be prepared for “the current network connection maybe effecting your experience. Please check your connection and try again.” This is a constant error, that’s hasn’t been fixed in numerous updates and has nothing to do on the user side. The only way to fix it is to completely delete the app and reinstall. You used to be able to sign out and sign back in to fix it and get the streaming to work again. However, with subsequent updates it’s been made worse to where you have to go as far as to delete the app and start over by re installing and signing in all over again. This error occurs after about every two races you watch. So it’s an incredible annoyance..Version: 2.0.8

Why is there not a smart TV app?App is good on mobile devices and it’s called F1 TV but you can’t watch it on your tv as there’s no app! AirPlay also works sporadically, this has potential to be amazing but it’s missing the final steps!! MAKE A TV APP!!.Version: 2.22.1

AwfulTotal waste of money. Limited content. Terrible quality video, 360p at best most of the time, video randomly freezes and have to jump back and forwards to make it play again, no track/ambient sound on replays, only commentary which is weird. Disappointed..Version: 2.11.0

Scammy app deserving of 0 starIt’s criminal how unreliable and unstable this app is. It’s so bad, I hope Apple gives us the option to give apps like this no star or some way to clearly warn others to avoid this sham. The experience is akin to Russian roulette: you never know when it’s going to ruin your day, but you can bet your subscription it will. Every app has bugs, but the best developers, at the very least, provide solutions to problems and aren’t completely clueless to why errors keeping popping up. What does BM2001 mean? Beats me. BM2301? Who knows. How about the red circle icon? Your guess is as good as mine. For an app intended to enable more people access and enjoy F1, this garbage app—devoid of the spirit of excellence and passion—feels like it was built by developers who are not F1 fans. Perhaps, therein lies the problem..Version: 2.9.0

Misleading informationApp looks good in the store but you can’t even watch the race live or get any data even though it says you can on the App Store. MAKE IT VISIBLE FOR PEOPLE IN AUSTRALIA THAT YOU CANNOT VIEW ANYTHING LIVE!!!! Thanks for taking my $65..Version: 2.16.0

Poor value for AussiesReally need to offer a discount for Aussies who cannot watch live due to Fox having exclusive rights. That and at least offer a delayed telecast of the whole race the next day..Version: 2.0.8

UselessAbsolutely terrible. Live sessions are nonstop Lagging, stopping, extremely poor quality. “Live” is unwatchable, ridiculous, stopping in every 15sec. We are in 2022 not in 1996 and of the biggest media group can’t handle this? Pffff … I have a full subscription (unfortunately) for the whole year… First and last time when I’m pay for it. On the top of that: Custumer service: just simply not exist. Ruining up all my race weekends. Shame on you ….Version: 2.3.2

How does this still not work?Just make it work. Keep removing complexities until you get it to just work. The mobile browser stream used to work perfectly. But they disable that. So if you were going to live and die by your mobile app, just keep it simple and make it work. And then slowly roll out whatever things you want. But test, test, test and test some more before you roll those things out. If you can’t make it work, don’t release it. Just make an app that works. Unbelievable. Some random guy on Reddit made his own Apple TV app for F1 TV. And you know what? It works. It just works. One guy. In his spare time. And it works. Unbelievable. Fire everyone on your app team and just hire that one guy. He will make it work. Until then, just reenable streaming live races in a mobile browser. Because that works. Until you decided to not allow it. I swear to Horner I’m going to go back to pirating video streams of F1 because that works better than the official app....Version: 2.0.7

Horrible App, Many IssuesFrom a content standpoint, this app is great if you’re an F1 fan. This ends the good things I have to say. From a functionality standpoint, this app is garbage. If you’re planning on using this to cast to a TV, don’t get your hopes up as it doesn’t cast correctly about 60% of the time. This is with both Airplay and through a Chromecast. It just doesn’t work right. If you’re planning on watching on your phone, it works, but prepare for an archaic video player with not easy skip forward/skip backward controls, no record of what you watched, no “continue watching” feature if you take a break mid-race, just no intuitiveness whatsoever. Shame on F1TV for putting out such an awful app for a “premium” service. If you have any other way to watch F1, don’t waste your money on these guys who clearly don’t care about their product..Version: 2.1.0

Please Fix the QualityThe App is overall good but… please fix the quality of the videos, they are clear for 5 seconds then they are very blurry..Version: 2.2.4

Decent but app admin needs improvementGood content, great coverage, fulfills its mission as a sporting app. HOWEVER the connection can be flaky at times, requiring viewers to sign in well ahead of a race event to make sure they actually get online to watch it. 2024 versions seem better but are still somewhat unreliable in this way. Next, it is extremely annualized that F1 instantly revokes access for old apps, forcing updates without notice. This happened before Bahrain 2024 where I was trying to cast to my TV. Unfortunately I had to download a new version of the app, while trying to beat the clock to have it installed (and pray it works) before the race start. BTW the new GUI is less intuitive than the one in use until mid-2023. Late 2023 GUI wasn’t great either..Version: 2.22.1

Won’t openSince the new update, I’ve been unable to open the app, it just crashes immediately..Version: 2.22.0

Doesn’t workWon’t let me watch the races or any other content.Version: 2.20.0

Video Quality AwfulWatching replay content (particularly races) is pixelated all the time. You can’t read the graphics/text properly. Very disappointing..Version: 2.4.3

Sold out to skyHad the app in Germany for a couple of years and then my credit card payment needed updating - had an e-Mail to inform me but when I went to update told me it was not available as I l live in Germany -now have to use Sky with no English commentary- feel if the customer is not important very sold out for money.Version: 2.11.2

Needs option to change qualityOn desktop you have an option to change the quality to help with bandwidth, but that option isn't available on the iPad app. Despite very high download speeds and a good connection, the app frequently drops to terrible image quality and you can barely read the standings or lap times. Even pausing it to help it buffer for a while makes no difference. Sometimes closing the app and reopening it helps, but most of the time you're left with terrible image quality. Please add the option to change from auto quality to user selected. Secondly, the suggested videos could do with improvement. If I've just watched FP1 in France then the obvious next suggestion is FP2 in France, but instead you're suggested other FP1 sessions from older races. Finally, please add a 'back 10 seconds' and 'forward 10 seconds' option as that would be a big bonus for watchability. Updated: the ten skip has been added but the quality issues are much worse. The quality drops to potato camera level to save bandwidth but I'm on a high speed connection and switching to any other device provides high quality images with no issues in buffering. It's now basically unwatchable on my iPad Pro..Version: 2.2.4

Poor value and performanceOne would expect, in todays modern inter-connect world that one would be able to enjoy ‘Live’ coverage while away on holiday, or away from home on business. But no this app is totally unportable, a feature you possibly won’t discover until moments before the race. Very frustrating indeed. Other feature is that is your OS isn’t bang up to date, the app will not work one iota, it doesn’t work with the latest feature not available, it plain does not work ! Which isn’t good when you start the app 5 mins before the race starts, to be notified that the OS need a mandatory upgrade that going to require 15 min to download, install and verify. This app isn’t as clever as one may hope, not withstanding it poor performance. 85-90 % of the time it does enable you to watch the race ‘live’ but do not rely on it. Best search the web for coverage, particularly if aboard and for some cockwobble reason the app fails to provide live coverage..Version: 2.16.0

No customer support for very glitchy appI have been subscribing to F1TV from South Africa for 4 years, and the service and support are still routinely appalling. The live content (the only reason to subscribe!) crashes frequently, and it can often be impossible to load live quali or races. When their error codes start to pop up, you know you are in for a frustrating weekend. Often I have to watch the full replay after the race. There is ZERO customer care or support when content crashes. Not once have they even replied, let alone helped. I wish there was another way to watch F1 in SA..Version: 2.4.3

Sort SubtitleCommentary subtitles randomly keeps showing even with it off in settings.Version: 2.7.0

AirPlay issue3 year subscription but seems to be a constant airplay issue when connecting to the tv. Can be a bit frustrating but otherwise its good for watching on your phone or laptop.Version: 2.22.1

Laggy and live sessions don’t always start!$100/year, there’s a bunch of lag. Specially when casting on tv. Worked for a few seconds and then started buffering. Also could not connect when tried to watch live race. It connected eventually but missed the race start. Unacceptable for the money. And in case the developers want to reply my internet isn’t fast enough, let me tell you, it absolutely is..Version: 2.22.1

Solid app, but streaming quality is erraticAfter moving back to South Africa I’ve been looking for a way to watch F1 without paying a ridiculous amount for a sports package on DSTV (like Sky in the UK). The F1 app is great - lots of content, plus live practice, qualy, and races. And critically also the option to choose to watch from the start or live, if you come into the race late. I often watch a few minutes to an hour delayed. Unfortunately the streaming quality is erratic and often drops back even below standard definition, and goes very pixelated and jaggy. Given the races are all filmed in 4K, and I’m paying for the official app I expect the quality to be perfect. I also have Netflix, Showmax, Disney, and Apple TV, which all stream perfectly in HD or 4K, so I can only assume this is a issue on the F1 app side rather than a bandwidth issue on my side..Version: 2.5.1

No idea of UXDoes not remember which video you were watching last. Doesn’t even know what the next video in a series is after you finish one - shows relative videos of everything but the next one. It’s like the devs were trying to make it hard. When I resume a vid I was watching it doesn’t remember where I was up to either. I used this in Aus a couple of years ago and it was terrible, but put it down to teething issues and new app. No excuses any more, team. Simple things aren’t that hard..Version: 2.2.1

Video qualityThe quality of the footage is the most jumpy thing I’ve ever witnessed. One second it’s 1080p then it’s 360p and back and forth. Then with the archive races, everytime the app is closed and it’s reopened, the whole race restarts which is extremely annoying..Version: 2.1.0

FATAL FLAWGreat app with one fatal flaw… if you are trying to watch a Grand Prix delayed (maybe you missed the start) but want to start from the beginning of the broadcast you’re **** out of luck. The app will chuck you straight in to the live feed and you’ll be forced to try scrubbing the timeline back whilst simultaneously trying to avoid listening/peeking at the current state of the race. Also… occasionally the feed with drop out and instead of resuming where it paused, it’ll jump you to the most recent feed. At least twice I’ve gone from lap 13 to the podium ceremony and totally spoiled the result. It’s not my connection speed, either. PLEEEEEEEASE, give us the option to “start from the beginning” if we click on a race/qualifying that’s already begun. Not everyone wants to jump in to watch live 🥺.Version: 2.0.8

F1 is great butIt’s no fun watching one guy destroy the rest race after race. I super love f1 but we gotta level the playing feild.Version: 2.22.0

Missing PictureInPicture (PiP) supportPlease add support for PiP on iOS so that I can watch races but also use different apps at the same time. Also, this app desperately needs a ‘continue watching’ tile so that I can continue where I left off if I don’t get to finish watching a race. The ability to download races to watch them while on the train would be great. Given the financial might of Formula One, I thought a bit more development would’ve gone into this app to have those features.Version: 2.0.8

Thanks for thatI have yet to use this app, I’m sure it does a lot of good but there’s still no app available to download on your TV? I’m not excited to rely on AirPlay to project it from my phone - maybe look into that one, guys. 3 stars because the “free trial” immediately charged me $8. I’m in no financial struggle, but really..?.Version: 2.22.0

Airplay still not workingWhen are you guys going fix this app! Airplay still does not work 🤬.Version: 2.0.8

Rubbish!First race of the season and qualifying is not even available. What a waste of money..Version: 2.2.4

3 years…fix the AirPlay alreadyTitle says it all. I get error BM2001 anytime I try to airplay whether that be from my phone or iPad. Other streaming apps connect fine. Would be great to finally be able to watch a race on the tv..Version: 2.22.0

Works SometimesThis app is great when it actually works, and I enjoy all of the members of the F1 TV crew BUT more than half the time the app decides I’m “viewing from a restricted geographic region” even though I’m in Canada. Annoying when I’m trying to watch stuff after it happened but infuriating when I miss live events (like quali or the race) because the app decides I can’t watch F1TV in Canada..Version: 2.22.1

Rip offThis application makes you think that you can pay an annual subscription (~ GBP 60) to watch F1 races live, to then proceed to let you know that your geographic area (UK/EU) is not covered by the service. Stay away from it. If by accident you pay, ask apple immediately for a refund. If you wait (like I did, hoping that it would work at some point), you will loose your money..Version: 2.16.0

Terrible video qualityI purchased this app as an annual subscription. Frankly the video quality was unwatchable. I have a gigabyte internet connection and all I got was a blocky pixelated mess. I have requested a refund from apple.I was so looking forward to seeing all the old races. Such a disappointment..Version: 2.21.2

Barely FunctionalI understand that the $99 is for the license, but some money should have been reserved for developing the app! The video stability is awful (I get 200MBps and the quality is often dropping), then there are basic issues such as having to start a video again after just leaving the iPad on pause for 10mins. Some videos (FP1 highlights simply crash the app. Disappointing really, as access to the season for this price should be great and attract many new viewers, but the app barely works..Version: 2.2.4

Total let downI paid for a year to find out we can’t even watch the current race. Pathetic! I want my money back!.Version: 2.2.4

Trying to force users to stop buying on App StoreUPDATE: After 10 days (and another update), app still doesn't work, and refuses to *Restore Purchase". I explained to Apple and they have refunded my purchase. Apple should completely remove the app from the App Store too, as F1 have apparently disabled "Restore Purchase" (at least for monthly renewal attempts) and seek to divert us to their website. *****REVIEW: The F1 sales team is dishonest, in my opinion. I renewed this app two days ago. I paid money to the Apple App Store to do so. However, the "Restore Purchases" button no longer works. It says it is "retrieving purchases" but then says "try second flow to restore". That is where it stops working completely. After doing all the usual logout, re-download stuff to no avail, I contacted "Support Chat". But they said the app can't Restore Purchases and tried to convince me to stop using the Apple App Store and sign up directly with them. And their phone line support simply hung up on me after I described the steps to prove the failure. It all seems disturbingly dishonest and unethical. I am distressed by this. Sorrowful. No wonder this app has such low ratings..Version: 2.3.2

PracticeI expected to be able to watch the complete practice session on replay as I find this part very interesting , and as I am paying for I would like to see it add. Thank you..Version: 2.14.0

Abysmal video qualityI have the app on my Apple TV and two iPads. The picture is always pixelated (I mean it’s constantly pixelated - it never clears up at all) and it freezes up every five minutes no matter where I watch. It’s not a problem with my internet - I never have any issues streaming on Kayo, Netflix or Stan - and I have the latest OS installed so not sure what the issue is. Also I can’t turn on the commentary on the Apple TV so it’s just pixelated video with no talking. So disappointed..Version: 2.1.0

FrustratedBeen trying to watching F1 on this app for 5 years… They Still can’t get the app to not crash or give error BM2102 when using airplay. If it can’t handle airplay then come out with a Samsung tv app so I can watch it directly..Version: 2.22.1

Mobile app that requires wifi? It’s disappointing there still hasn’t been a “select stream quality” feature added to this app. To me the point of a mobile app is so I can watch when I’m away from home/work. This is basically not feasible as only watching a few minutes will eat up hundreds of MB of data when not using wifi as the app will always try for highest quality by default. It would be nice to have this feature added for the 2024 season..Version: 2.22.0

HopelessWith fibre broadband at 1gbps this stupid app constantly drops video quality. It’s like living in the year 2000. You get better video quality from a potato..Version: 2.0.8

This was the perfect way to view F1Up until this week this app was the best way to watch F1. The content is great, the video quality is spot on most of the time and there were rarely any hiccups. Unfortunately, being someone who works abroad outside of Europe regularly they’ve cracked down on the use of VPNs which means I can no longer access the things I want to watch (live feeds, etc) while I’m at work. If this is the way liberty media will continue, I’ll have to cancel my subscription, as it’s not viable to keep it going if I’d only be able to watch 40% of the races.Version: 2.16.0

Customer service is well not goodThere customer support is not good at all trust me just watch it online for free.Version: 2.22.1

Terrible AppCant even watch FP3 from the start when it’s live, constant crashes and for some reason terrible buffering and quality drops, even skipping forward like 20 minutes for 0 reason yet I have 300+ download speed. Horrible..Version: 2.3.2

Unable to AirPlayIs there a reason why I can’t airplay from the app to my Xbox one? I run the same system for the WRC which works perfectly. However the F1 app only passes the audio through without picture. I’d give 5 stars if I could watch the live races on TV. Currently on std monthly but willing to pay the extra for pro if that would help?.Version: 2.2.5

Utter junk. There are reviews in here suggesting you can watch a race live or even on demand. You can, but only old races from previous seasons. I have seen in several places online, claims that you can watch a race live, this lead me to download and subscribe to this service. I hope I can help someone out in the future by letting you know you cant. This is as close to a complete con as anything else I have ever seen. Complete rip off merchants..Version: 2.6.0

Highlights package. It’s taking too long to get the whole race, or even the 30 min grab, available; and 7 minutes is useless!!! Not what I paid for, but better than nothing which is what channel 10 gives us in Australia😡 Cheers..Version: 2.13.0

It’s fine. The app is fine but there are a lot of modern features missing. The big one no Apple TV Now Watching integration, so no show tracking, race notifications, or exciting event notices. Then another big one is on the phone or iPad when you bring up the pause/play overlay you can’t just click an empty part of the screen to close it, you have to wait for the menu to time out. These are things that are fine to leave off of a small operation’s app, but F1 is not small, so this kind of stuff is honestly not acceptable. Not that this review will convince them to fix it, but it’s annoying that they don’t want to offer their customers the best experience possible..Version: 2.2.5

Garbage Streaming QualityCouldn’t be worse. Can’t see anything. What’s the point in everyone paying for this??? This is a years long issue now. Common F1TV get your act together..Version: 2.16.0

Nearly goodThe app itself could be really great but there’s soooo many bugs. Playback issues when casting to a tv is the biggest issue for me. SORT IT OUT!! But also if you’re late to watch the GP then it doesn’t give you the option to start from the beginning, so if you don’t want to know the results then you’re f**cked..Version: 2.0.11

If they would try harder, the app would be chefs kissI got F1tv pro, thinking i would be able to watch a lot of racing. and of course, i did. Many many many full races in the catalog. But when it comes to the races, some seasons only have six (6!) races. Exiting races yes, but sometimes the excitement is the NUMBERS! sometimes im in the mood to kickback and watch a certain race at a certain track. go to try and find it and it’s just one race and and extend highlights. I want to pay to watch racing. a full grand prix. other than that pretty good content. my search bar doesn’t work and the auto race suggestion just plays the most recent race. if they actually worked on the app and gave the customers the opportunity to voice feedback and recommend more one off uploads..Version: 2.16.0

Very poorStreaming algorithms or whatever are rubbish on the Smart TV version of this App. Picture quality swings all over the show and if you try to reset it by quitting the show you are watching and restarting, its goes into a death spiral and won’t play that show at all any longer. Such a shame…a great programme completely ruined by rubbish technology. You would think F1 with all their money could do better!.Version: 2.2.5

App doesn’t work with pro subscriptionI paid for a pro subscription but you cannot use it with this app. It’s a scam and a waste of $15!!!! Save your money and don’t bother with this piece of garbage.Version: 2.0.8

RipoffUseless in Australia for watching live F1. Signed up and of course the money was taken , and THEN you find out that it does not work due to tv rights. Did not say so before payment was made. Thieves !! Rip off..Version: 2.0.8

Horrible appCan’t watch without constantly having to reset after it freezes, and that’s when trying to watch live. It’s much worse if you are trying to watch a rerun which is not live. For the cost, this is a huge disappointment. For anyone who can help, it’s worse following the latest update. I normally try to project from my iphone to a samsung smart tv. Sad. Updated: Followed the procedures as discussed with support. I deleted and reinstalled the app and nothing really changed as I was watching the sprint shootout today, had to restart the broadcast numerous times. Still very annoying. Gave up after it was over and it froze again at the start of the post shootout show. I paid a lot of money to see Laura Winter live! I suspect it may be a transmission bandwidth thing too. It seems to work better during actual races and also at odd timed (for me) races. Still sad..Version: 2.19.1

Potato QualityInexplicably poor video quality. Not a problem with my connection as all other apps, including Spark Sport, are streaming fine. Quality is so poor as to not be worth watching..Version: 2.3.2

LiveYou can’t watch the race live and that’s why I got the app I love the app it’s good but just not watching it live brings it down for me not worth the money.Version: 2.22.0

Where are the live sessions???The dumbest app ever! Can’t see how to get to Lice sessions!!!! I am pay I for this app!!’.Version: 2.7.0

Terrible Video Quality & other frustrationsThe app works well enough. But 3 major things really bother me. 1. The video quality can not be changed. Watching a replay on an iPhone 13 pro, with fibre 300Mb+ internet it looks like complete garbage. Can’t read positions or even make out the position logos it’s so bad. Genuinely unwatchable, but cast it to a tv, and it’s fine. 2. If watching replays at this quality wasn’t bad enough, when you go to a previous race to select the replay, more often than not, plastered right at the top of the screen is the winner of that race. Info I’ve been so desperately trying to avoid all day 🤦🏻‍♂️ 3. This is a paid app… and these issues aren’t just sometimes, the quality is EVERY time, on every device. And the results being displayed is far more often that not. Happy to pay for a decent app, but not this..Version: 2.3.2

Quality issuesFor a couple of years now! Whenever I want to watch a replay or a documentary the connection seems to go to dialup, buffering and big square pixelating. It’s very annoying for a paid service. Everything else works fine like Netflix, Disney etc etc. How hard can it be if all other services can make it work. How can you keep us interested in keeping us paying for this app?.Version: 2.13.0

Is there a button to press to get on it or do I just wait?I still can’t do anything. I am stuck on the Home Screen. Help me developers..Version: 2.20.0

You can’t even watch the raceTried to stream the race live and it just shows you a map of what’s happening not the actual race. So disappointed.Version: 2.2.5

Pourquoi je quitte F1 tvRenouvellement trop dispendieux, augmentation de 25% !.Version: 2.22.1

Doesn’t Recognise SubscriptionI’ve got a F1 subscription but the app doesn’t seem to recognise it, and won’t let me watch any of the videos. I would recommend finding a better app rather than this one. Live content in Australia is only available through Fox sports or Kayo, but race replays for this seasons previous GP’s aren’t available through this app either..Version: 2.6.0

What an increase!!!79.99 to 99.99… not an inflation increase!! If at least the AirPlay streaming was working properly! Hope the content will be as good as the price is high! Many years paying and never got the AirPlay properly functioning or having access when I travel :( Do better!! :(.Version: 2.21.2

IPad app has streaming issuesQuality of stream on iPad app is horrible . Just a few pixels, can’t read the names on the left , really bad. That’s on a ultra fast gigabit internet connection with any other streaming service streaming with no issues Apple TV app won’t switch to international commentary. I don’t want to listen to the other one. iPhone app runs fine, but it’s not much funon that little screen. Really hope there’s some update soon, been like that for a long time and subscription is expensive. Please fix it soon :) otherwise great app, only sometimes a bit weird to find the main videos: race, quali…menu is sometimes weird to navigate.Version: 2.7.0

Video Quality is HorribleAlways pixelated. ALWAYS. 100mb connection and every other streaming app works perfectly, except the F1 TV app. Absolutely hopeless…...Version: 2.1.0

Money and time wastedThe app does not allow you to purchase Pro subscription, only offering Access which doesn’t give anything valuable. After upgrading to Pro the app doesn’t recognise it and support isn’t able to assist..Version: 2.2.4

OkayyishhAlthough the contents of the app are good, there are a lot of bugs! Videos don’t always play, if you come off the video briefly or your device locks it will throw you out of the app. Some races don’t have commentary in the 2017 season. Just seems like app has been released and then don’t address any problems.Version: 2.0.7

Just mehI’d rather watch the races on sky for reliability but I just can’t afford it. I’m happy to be able to watch the races but if you watch anything in the archives and so much as pause something will go wrong, and live races are much lower quality in comparison to sky which is odd cos it’s essentially the exact same footage :).Version: 2.14.0

Impossible to cancel subscriptionThey make it farking impossible to cancel subscription, eventually just gave up and will let it run until my credit card expires.Version: 2.20.0

Issue with SubscritionSeems to be that the Apple subscription is no longer properly linked with the F1 app. So be careful if you are renewing the subscription to F1 within the App Store- did not work for me. Recommend buying from F1 directly (same price) until this is addressed!.Version: 2.2.5

Worst experience everAfter 10-15 seconds the video freezes and can only hear commentary. I mailed f1 about two months back they said they have escalated it to the developers and I haven’t heard from them nor the issue is resolved. Wasted 3 months of subscription already and can’t even watch a single minute of footage..Version: 2.0.11

Don’t botherAfter moving abroad I was desperate to watch F1 races so I downloaded this app. Last weekend the app worked great and I was able to watch the first race via Airplay. This week my free trial ended and I was happy to proceed and pay the annual subscription but this weekend I was unable to watch any live qualifying or race on Airplay. After contacting F1tv support I was informed that only this week the app had been updated and live content could only be watched through an Apple TV Box. I have cancelled my subscription and after reading the reviews will advise anyone not to give any money no matter how big a fan you are..Version: 2.2.4

Not the proper commentary with Martin BrundleReally disappointed to find F1 are cheapskates and don’t want to use the SkyF1 commentary that is used by other pay per view suppliers in NZ and globally where Sky doesn’t operate. For most, Martin Brundle and team’s commentary makes F1 so enjoyable. So instead F1 has gone cheap and hired some other voices that don’t come close to the atmosphere Martin and team create..Version: 2.2.5

Good content but let down by softwareGreat content but at unable to cast directly to my tv as it brings up an error message. Also crashes often and because there is no ‘continue watching’ it’s hard to find the content and the place you were at..Version: 2.1.0

No live F1 races in AustraliaCancelled my subscription less than an hour after signing up, no live F1 coverage in Australia!.Version: 2.14.0

StrugglingGetting error codes on trying to play some new content, with no explanation. Annoying! Paid the money for F1 and feeling frustrated.Version: 2.12.1

International FeedIt’s great you get the international feed (sky tv UK) but you don’t get there video feed, so you miss a lot of what they are talking about..Version: 2.20.0

F1 TV Pro AvailabilityCan’t justify giving the app more than one star until F1 TV Pro is available in Australia. I understand the broadcast rights are the issue here but essentially one company controls what goes into that contract and that’s F1/Liberty Media. Next time, make sure F1 TV Pro is available everywhere and make other providers compete with this app/service. Because given the option I’d much rather use this app and F1 TV Pro.Version: 2.16.0

No stable streamingApp is great if you want to watch on your computer or apple device. Streaming to a Samsung is not stable. Most of the time it disconnects after a few minutes. I still enjoy watching the races on my big screen TV vs a small screen iPad or computer. Why not fix something that has been an issue for a while now and has received many complaints? Poor customer experience..Version: 2.22.1

Ok app, poor qualityApp itself seems to be great so far, but not sure why you can’t set the stream quality. It starts blurry, goes to what looks like 1080p for a while - then back down to 360p or whatever awful quality setting it is, can’t even make out a name. Running app on fire stick, you can set to 1080p and no issues - please add the quality settings to the Apple app!.Version: 2.3.2

MisleadingI subscribed to F1TV earlier this year while travelling in Central America. I saw no indication of restrictions on where viewing live races might be. It worked for a couple of races in CA but not by any means all. I had dialogue with the help team but this didn’t help. On my return to UK is of course discovered that it’s doesn’t work in UK or Spain and now in India I am still unable to restore my £60 F1TV purchase. The help team seem to dish out stock item responses don’t address my actual questions directly. So really not happy. I am now back in Central America where I should be able to restore my purchase but predictably I was not able to. We are now at the end of the season and I don’t intend to renew next year. All in all a dismal failure I’m afraid..Version: 2.20.0

Very expensive, very unreliable, overall heartbreakingly disappointing and frustratingI am in love with this sport. It’s why I keep paying for this service. It’s my only access to the sport as an American. Between the atrocious quality issues most of the time, the frequency of error codes and connection disruptions, and the infrequency of having the honor and privilege to cast the events onto my tv, it’s really maddening and quite disheartening really. The sport makes an ungodly amount of money, especially from the American market, and yet all we are given in return is this buggy unreliable app that we pay a sizable sum to use. I’m forced to watch it on my tiny phone screen more than half the time because they seem to decide to either allow or prevent us from casting it onto our tv’s on a whim. Most of the time I’m watching it on 240p-540p max even with great internet connection. If I didn’t love this sport, I would have canceled this a long time ago. I think the suits in charge know this full well and rely on our love of the sport and lack of alternative access to it to justify both investing the bare minimum into the service and the refusal to make it any better. I wish I could share with you a photo of what it looks like when I cast it to my brand new Samsung OLED tv. It’s like the old distorted color bar screen of tvs of old. Remember those?.Version: 2.11.2

TerribleApp is honesty terrible. I have internet speeds of 1GBPS download and full WiFi bars and the video just stays on lowest quality and even buffers aswell. App needs a huge upgrade!!! Definitely won't be subscribing for next year's season.Version: 2.1.0

Needs serious workThis App is more unreliable then Ricciardo!.Version: 2.2.4

No live racesI got this to watch live f1 and I was really excited. I thought it was a good deal for £20 a year but when I tried to watch a race live I couldn’t. I checked the website and in the top left corner in small font “no live races”. I bet that plenty of others brought this thinking it’s live but realised what I have. Overall the data you get is good and there are some alright shows but not what I brought it for, which is live action..Version: 2.15.0

Can u watch on smart tvI really like the app and it’s content but I need to know whether or not I can watch on my smart TV I did read somewhere recently that apparently this is now possible can the developers let me know please.Version: 2.0.11

Scam app and subscriptionsEarlier I used to airplay from F1TV app to my smart TV, now it’s not supported with recent updates. Support team says Airplay only works with Apple TV. Why would I pay premium prices when you don’t support Smart TV. Also F1TV doesn’t play video in mobile browsers. Total scam!!! Another issue; The subscription keeps saying invalid card for every credit card I used. Only allows to subscribe via Apple Pay. TO APPLE SUPPORT: Apple please take note and make sure to take necessary actions, as they’re using your platform to host a junk app. You may need to verify where/how they’re processing credit card details. I ‘m pretty sure, F1 app team doesn’t care about reviews, if so they would have fixed the issues or atleast clarify the same. Have reported to Apple, I guess everyone SHOULD REPORT THIS APP TO APPLE TEAM..Version: 2.2.4

UselessCan't get any up to the minute results, no live TV, can't restore purchase, can't cancel subscription. Fraud.Version: 2.2.5

Hugely frustrating. Wasted hours of my life trying to sort it.Used this app for a couple of years, used to be pretty decent, but my account stopped working about three months ago. Have spent hours trying to make it work again (all I want to do is watch F1 and I’m still paying for it). I have now given up and cancelled the subscription. I had planned to resubscribe but for some bizarre reason it makes you go to a website to do that, and the ‘Subscribe Now’ button on the website doesn’t seem to work on Safari. Don’t bother - life is too short and you’ll end up paying for something you can’t access!.Version: 2.4.3

Geographic Restrictions - NEVER WorksApp can’t ever get the IP address right and always thinks you’re somewhere else and blocks out both live and recorded content. Buggy as hell and never works correctly. Can’t get around it with a VPN either. Bad tech..Version: 2.22.0

Crappy appExtremely slow or unable to load or switch channel when watching replay. Don’t waste your money.Version: 2.2.4

Worst streaming appThe content is F1 racing, but my issue is the app technology, this is the only app I know that when you loose connection (I.e. when you are on a train) takes you back to the beginning every time! Very frustrating. All other streaming apps keep your position, why can’t this one?.Version: 2.15.0

“Network Issue”It’s a bit disingenuous to have a message pop up implying that my inability to watch a replay of the recent race is due to my network connection, especially when I’m able to watch the post-race livestream as well as all races from past weekends. F1 TV, please take care of these “network issues” as soon as possible. Or, alternatively, simply make it downloadable for offline viewing so I can know for a fact when I go to watch a race it will actually work. At the very least, please take some responsibility for the network issues happening on your side. Maybe start simple by changing the messaging in app. Next, please try checking your own network connection. If that doesn’t work, I recommend unplugging and plugging in your router. IF THAT doesn’t work, maybe rethink charging fans for a product that doesn’t operate as promised..Version: 2.0.8

Disappointing poor effort1. Videos don’t remember your progress if you only partly watch a video. 2. Chrome cast dosn’t work from iPhone or iPad. 3. App dosn’t auto suggest the next session when you finish watching a video I.e. p2 highlights after watching p1 highlights from the race weekend. These are glaring omissions that you would expect a flashy organisation like F1 to have on their show piece video app….Version: 2.2.4

OkayIt’s a good app but if I try to watch a race on mobile data it is horrible quality. Like 240p back to 1080 and switching constantly. I don’t have an issue at all with Netflix HBO or any other streaming services. I think it should have a quality setting where you can choose the streaming quality and let it buffer every once in a while or pre load the content when paused or something rather than the app trying to optimize a better performance over quality when you have slower speeds. Just my opinion and hopefully it gets heard! If I have really good service or Wi-Fi the app is good and I would give it 5 stars, but since I can watch other streaming services all day at 2160p and I have issues with this one it is 3 stars..Version: 2.7.0

DO NOT BUY-TERRIBLE QUALITY VIDEOBe warned, do not buy this app. Video quality is appalling and substandard. App for Apple TV is the same, complete waste of money..Version: 2.0.11

Poor connection to Apple airplayThe the app has a very blue bad connection to Apple AirPlay, and often when I’m wanting to watch live coverage to AirPlay won’t work on my new Samsung TV need to produce. Are you Samsung TV app that can be downloaded to the TV for Formula One?.Version: 2.15.0

Frustrating AppF1shoot themselves in the foot, great app, good commentary choices etc. the F1 pre and post races are pants. But you can watch all the same on YouTube 45mins to an hour later and save the subscription.Version: 2.22.1

Terrible qualityAs much as I love Formula 1, the streaming quality will have to improve significantly for me to pay for F1 TV next season. I’m watching it right now and I can’t tell who the cars are, as for reading anything on the screen I don’t have a hope. It clears for a couple of seconds then it’s back to a blur. Extremely disappointing..Version: 2.6.0

Subscription renewal does not workI’ve had F1TV Pro since 2020. Was excellent until start of 2023 season when subscription renewal no longer works. F1 insists the credit card is “declined by your bank” except that it isn’t and when you call your card issuer they can see that F1 has not even attempted to process a transaction. Your card issuer offers to do a 3 way call with “the merchant” i.e. F1 if you have a customer service phone number for them. Unfortunately F1 no longer has a support phone for F1TV Pro. There is now only live chat and email. Both the live chat and email responses you get when you tell them you have contacted the card (3x in my case!) and problem is entirely on F1’s end of it, they just parrot “I see here your bank is declining the transaction”. Over and over and over. The chat is polite about it (claims to be a human) but the email replies are quite arrogant and insulting. So don’t waste your time, they have now completely ruined what used to be a truly outstanding service. Really sad how it’s suddenly like this and F1 does not give a hoot, won’t own up to the fact that something is wrong with malfunctioning transactions on their end of it..Version: 2.12.1

Be awareThis app and service will allow you to watch f1 live races, just be aware of this. This service is pretty useless in my opinion..Version: 2.3.0

Waste of moneyI paid the annual subscription so I could watch F1 live and find that come race day I can’t watch anything. Get Las Vegas and simply nothing to watch live, I can watch replays from qualifying and practice but no live racing. Really useless, now I have to pay for Sky or similar. $kn pathetic..Version: 2.20.0

F1 TV ProCurrently abroad and wanted to see the F1 this weekend - only have commentary at the mo! Clicked on the F1 TV said I needed an upgrade - did all the necessary and paid - account says I have F1 TV but when you open it it says I need to ‘upgrade’ did the same again and still the same - although I have now been charged twice. Complained by e-mail as instructed and didn’t get a viable answer -told it was impossible for them to take 2 payments on the same account and I must have another account - I don’t So my account says I should be able to watch it but I can’t and now I have missed 2days of racing and probably the main race tomorrow- and I won’t need it after Monday!.Version: 2.15.0

When it works it’s greatWhen the app actually works it’s awesome! However it hardly ever wants to actually work. I’ve given up on trying to watch any of the races live now as it’s constant buffering issues. But even now trying to watch race replays the app continuously fights me. If it doesn’t improve in the coming weeks I’ll just have to cancel my subscription all together..Version: 2.0.8

Feel ripped off - apprach with cautionGot the F1 TV subscription in Australia. Come qualifying I tried to watch. Only to learn that I cannot watch qualifying live - only after “a delay”: no idea how long that will be. In order to watch live, I need another subscription - from Foxtel - which comes at double the cost of the F1 TV subscription. Why pay for the “home of F1” if it’s not the home of F1? Read carefully, check what you’re subscribing to. I understand it’s all about money and licensing, but this is silly. Was a subscriber in Europe for years and never had any of this “you need another subscription” nonsense..Version: 2.22.0

DisappointingHow many years has it been? It’s always the same complaints but it’s never fixed. Consistent Error bm2101. In the year 2023 this app still doesn’t support Picture in Picture. On about 99.9% of all streaming apps to hide the HUD (play, pause, rewind-fast forward screen) you would just tap the screen and it’ll disappear. NOPE NOT THIS APP, all the tapping does is bring the HUD back up so it’s like an infinite loop of unintentionally bringing the HUD back up, it’s annoying and counter intuitive. Instead of updating and fixing their app, you get a cookie cutter response from the devs that goes along the line of “we appreciate the feedback and will pass this along to the developer” well it’s been years with the same complaint, either they’re ignorant or worse- just don’t care..Version: 2.14.0

Poor picture quality on 300Mbps fibreStill terrible quality picture constantly dropping back to blurry low res images. Speedtest on my link gives 200mbps download speeds while simultaneously watching the crappy quality. Do something about your caching servers F1 instead of building $500m las Vega tracks..Version: 2.20.0

Airplay not workingTerrible experience so far with the app, error BM2101 I think is a message you’ll have to get used to reading! Airplay, an advertised functionality, does not in fact function. I certainly won’t be bothering to renew my subscription..Version: 2.11.2

RubbishI used to be able to VPN into my home country which they have now cracked down on. No refund for the just started subscription either even though they changed the software. The customer support is inflexible. I really wanted to pay for this content but now have to go back to the pirated streams & downloads. So long!.Version: 2.18.0

Video quality is horrendousThe video quality is shockingly bad. With ultra fast fibre internet and no problems with any other apps, Netflix etc, it comes down to the f1tv app. The person that signed off this app as a finished product should be fired, how can they even think about adding more features to this app when they can’t even get the basic video quality to an acceptable level..Version: 2.3.0

Great features, terrible qualityThe good: This app has all you need when it comes keeping up with what’s going on during an F1 weekend. I find having the stats page open, while watching the live footage on my TV awesome (excluding the quality). The bad: The quality is not acceptable! I have download speeds that many would dream of, yet I still struggle to see all the stats. In car footage quality fluctuates badly too. I’ve provided feedback to the makers, however they’re intent on questioning my connection and devices. Which is rather offensive considering the other reviews and comments online..Version: 2.0.9

Subscription Fraud?DO YOUR SUBSCRIPTIONS VIA WEBSITE!! Be very careful. Whilst the app works, we made the mistake of renewing a pro subscription in the app. It wasn’t recognised and wouldn’t work. Apple said speak to F1, F1 said speak to Apple. $99 floating in the ether of someone’s pocket…..Version: 2.2.5

Airplay issues. The first review listed indicated that Airplay issues were probably user error. As someone who did iOS support professionally for 8 years, I can guarantee you that the Airplay implementation in the F1 app is at fault. I have no other Airplay issues with other apps on any device I use. The F1 app Airplay may work for a practice session or qualifying but then the next video you watch will play on the iPhone or iPad but just spin when choosing AirPlay. Restarting the Apple TV will sometimes fix it. Restarting the phone or iPad typically does not. FWIW it seems to happen more often on the “International” feed (Sky Sports?) and more often on a race. Less so on qualifying. For the longest time I thought they were using a copy protection flag in the video to prevent Airplay for some races but now believe that it’s corrupted data that gets cached on the device. Force quiting the app doesn’t actually reset the app as it should so it’s a pain to get it to work. The real solution is to switch to the F1 AppleTV app. I don’t know when they released this but it wasn’t there last year when I looked..Version: 2.3.2

Absolute rubbishSpent hrs trying to get this app up and running, I even stupidly paid twice in an attempt to try and get it working..it wouldn’t register the payments on the account when signed in then it wanted me to change the password but every password I used it wouldn’t except so eventually just gave up… not a fan of this app.Version: 2.12.1

Don’t waste your money on this appQuite possibly the worse sport app ever made. Live streaming never works. I think I’ve managed to catch a couple of Free Practice sessions all season through the app. Miss the race because you’ve been out and about on a Sunday and want to watch it a few hours later? Well, you won’t be able to do that either. Might work a few days later when no one else is using it, only to wonder if you’re looking at a McLaren or a Ferrari because the video quality is so bad. Please, don’t bother. Save your money and your stress levels..Version: 2.0.8

Failed to restore the purchase :-(Hi I subscribed to F1 TV Pro, however the app failed to restore the purchase it gets stuck in “trying second flow to restore” screen. Therefore I am unable to use the app..Version: 2.0.8

Good idea… Terrible execution. This app would be great, if it worked. The amount of bugs in this app pains me, especially when trying to airplay or stream to chrome cast, constant error codes. Normally the only fix is to restart the app, sometimes needs Wi-Fi disconnecting and reconnecting. The reason I’m even writing this review is because I was watching practice 1 highlights, and they ended, so I closed the player, clicked practice 2 highlights, player opens with an error message, click the ‘try again’ or whatever the button says, doesn’t work as I expected, and just as I’m about to restart the app to fix it, it asks for a rating😂 couldn’t have been a better time lol..Version: 2.5.1

F1 TV Pro not available for Australia.Which is ridiculous considering I’m in Sydney yet NZ has F1 TV Pro which is in closer to me in proximity than most Australian states & Liberty Media still choose to screw over Australian F1 fans in favour of that sweet sweet Murdoch Foxtel money. What’s worst is NZ residents have spark sports (foxtel equivalent) & if you’re in NZ & already a Spark subscriber, You get F1 TV pro included. F1 TV Pro has live care/race telemetry, individual live cameras from each car, the main race & all of that can be switched between or you can use a tablet as a 2nd screen to the main race…we miss out on all of that in Australia*. *User Subscription Experience for Australians is Very Poor Needlessly..Version: 2.2.4

Stable app but needs improvementsApp and service are working stable, also via Roku. But the app structure and menus are messy and illogical. In terms of broadcasting: the race day footage is being split up in different broadcasts: pre-race, race, post-race. Why? Just let me keep on watching, and cut them up afterwards in different on demand streams after the race! Plus please cut with all those intro videos, one after the other, just before a race. It's annoying af, Just stay on the grid!.Version: 2.2.5

So frustratingI thought I’d try this for the first time as I was promised full race replays appearing up to 48 hours after a GP. I thought I’d try it for the Belgium GP but I won’t be using it anymore. The highlights appeared a couple of hours after the race but almost 3 days later I’m still waiting for the full race. Waste of money but more importantly a waste of my time. Please note: In a country with no access to the Pro edition..Version: 2.16.0

Doesn’t work casting from iPhone to chromecastThe only way I can successfully watch any archive content is if I plug my laptop into my TV using a HDMI The cast option just sits there spinning round with Ready To Cast. Also missing continuous play option so trying to watch any of the season review videos is annoying as you have to select the next video every 10-12 minutes. Please sort these issues.Version: 2.1.0

Just okay, UX needs improvementThe most recent update to the homepage is terrible. It also seems to change all the time and is filled with stuff most users don’t need to have on the front page. I would much rather see the upcoming race schedule, race results, etc. Maybe news that’s relevant to the sport? I really don’t need to have years old documentaries and three week old debriefs pushed to me on the homepage… On the positive side: Overall the player is good and it never totally crashes on me, even with limited data. Quality is great when connected to strong Wi-Fi. I love that I can access old races and there’s never ending content to choose from. I like to see these highlighted from time to time..Version: 2.7.0

Get into the twenty first century F1!You want the world to get involved in GP but cannot relay a live broadcast. I can get everything plus great coverage on Sky, but sometimes I’m not in the UK so need a way to access my sport. YES F1, I SAID MY SPORT! I thought this would remedy the problem, but not so it seems. Fix the issue F1. You are making it too difficult to access the sport. It is not a catwalk for ‘celebrity’ parasites, it’s our sport and many of us created it. So, sort it out or you will take the sport away and it will become just another form of entertainment. I will not bother with F1 TV again until you can transmit the sport to all who want to watch it..Version: 2.19.1

GarbagePicture quality switches between clear and near unusable every few minutes. No it ain’t my connection. Gig fibre internet and Netflix and Disney stream crystal clear with zero issues..Version: 2.12.1

Pretty bloody bad.UPDATE. Now I can’t even watch the replays on my iPhone on this trash app. It’s telling me there might be a network error, my network is working fine. This app has gone even more downhill since they recently changed the video replay setup. You can’t even get it to go full screen anymore when using it on my phone through the TV, at least you had that option previously. Who wants to watch a race with a big black border around a quarter of the TV?! The controls are just bad all round, it’s so hard to pause and fast forward etc… I’m pretty annoyed I paid for this garbage app, especially when I can get replays for free. This app needs fixing so bad, especially with how much you are making people pay for it. Wish I could get a refund! I can’t believe it actually has 3.3 stars… And now it’s only at 1 and a half stars, bahahahaha. What a joke. $80..Version: 2.0.8

Will only stream to Apple TV during live racesApp normally works (kind of), but has recently stopped being able to stream to Apple TV for race replays. Live races work fine, but when you try to stream to Apple TV for any previous race, it fails. Disappointing considering how much the service costs. Also, if you delete the app off of your phone and reinstall it, it counts as another device to your total allowable devices. Do this several times and it will no longer allow you to open the app and will tell you that you have exceeded the number of allowed devices. You then have to login on a PC to your account, delete all of the allowed devices, and sign back in. Garbage. Absolute garbage. Mates, take some of the billions of dollars that F1 generates each year and spend some money on an app developer who actually knows what they are doing. Right now it’s like you hired Jen Barber from the IT Crowd to run your development..Version: 2.0.8

App doesn’t workI’ve 2 Subscriptions both don’t really work. Online help is useless. It’s a joke.Version: 2.2.5

Doesn’t Work, Overpriced, Ineffective SupportI had a good maybe 3-4 weeks where it worked at least well enough to be usable. I use AirPlay to watch it on my tv, or used to. Out of nowhere it’s decided to refuse to work. Switch to AirPlay and the app just freaks out and flips back and forth without playing anything until it says network error. Nothing about my set up has changed. Devices and network are all more than capable and up to date. Support is woefully ineffective, passes you off from person to person asking for the same information repeatedly and ends up insisting it’s either your network or Apple’s fault despite AirPlay working perfectly fine in literally every other app that uses it. $80/yr is outrageous for such an inconsistent, clunky app that actually REMOVES support from devices as it updates. I used to use it on the Xbox web browser, can’t do that anymore. Deleting this garbage as soon as my subscription is up..Version: 2.0.8

Buggy and at times unusableWorks fine off the app but once it's through a chromecast on tv the app becomes buggy slow and resets or changes what you're watching without notice.Version: 2.9.0

Talk about overselling and under deliveringPls do not bother with this if you are from Australia and have Fox Sports. RubbishTerrible awful app picture quality always very awful but all other streaming apps are fine! Support channels unhelpful and blame on wifi but not the case as all other streaming services operate perfectly.Version: 2.16.0

Fix the streaming qualityThe abysmal streaming quality (not my connection) is like watching a Minecraft version on slideshow! It should be 4K and high frame rate. This is ridiculous. Disappointed I subscribed, it really ruins the enjoyment of the racing.Version: 2.3.2

UselessNot being able to watch races due to exclusive licensing with Foxtel / Kayo in Australia is a joke. And expecting people to pay $40/year to not even get race content is an absolute ripoff. Get your act together and stop treating fans with such disrespect. I would happily pay for F1TV pro but instead you create a lose-lose situation where I get stuck watching dodgy streams and you get no money from me at all..Version: 2.3.0

Horrible App Constant SpoilersI don’t know about the rest of the world but sometimes I can’t sit down to watch the race exactly when it starts. With the races being pretty long, sometimes I’ll try and watch the race when it’s already halfway over. I really enjoy racing in general and like to see the whole race. So when I open up this app to try watch the race, what happens? The race will open at its current LIVE time stamp. What if I didn’t want any spoilers? Too bad there it is. Okay fine, I’ll try and not look at the standings and rewind it real quick. Well, let’s hope it doesn’t buffer, because every time it buffers it jumps to LIVE again. You were 30 minutes behind? Too bad. Completely ruins the experience for me. Absolutely unacceptable Formula One with all its money hasn’t implemented a feature to avoid these issues..Version: 2.0.8

GlitchyWhen working, this app is great. Unfortunately way too many reliability issues (BM2101 errors)..Version: 2.22.0

Constant issue when screen sharing to tvFor some reason whenever I cast from my iPhone to Samsung tv, it streams for about a minute and just freezes. No other app has this issue. Most of the time it works fine live, so it’s just the replays. But where I live I watch replays the morning after more than I watch live. Please fix this..Version: 2.16.0

Connecting issuesWill not connect to my Apple TV for streaming!!!.Version: 2.22.1

Good, stream switcher needs improvement. When I start to cast to my tv I can’t change what feed it is anymore. Hard to work around..Version: 2.22.1

2021 stuff in the 2022 race categoryOk this is just dumb and there’s no search bar although it dose have good benefits like a onboard camera… if you can find the newest race, it’s all highlights for gods sake I want to watch a race not highlights.Version: 2.2.4

One of the worst experiences with streamingTo the developers, how do I actually watch F1 TV on my TV? I have an LG OLED with a (2020, Current Gen) Google TV chrome-cast. And an iPhone 13, iPad Pro and MacBook Pro. I also have a gen 2 chromecast ultra If I use my iPad and try casting to the Google tv, it doesn’t work, it just says ready to cast. Same with the chromecast ultra. If I use the app via iPhone or iPad and try AirPlay it just gets some strange error every time. If I use the browser via iPhone or iPad, unsupported browser. If I download Brave, it lets me get further but never actually plays on the TV via airplay. If I use my MacBook, AirPlay isn’t available at all? Unless I mirror the screen, which works but it stutters like crazy, and is terrible quality. Honestly it’s unwatchable. Honestly, what do I have to do just to watch the F1?? It’s ridiculous! I pay every month, why can’t I just watch it… I shouldn’t need an entire arsenal of devices to watch it.Version: 2.2.5

Quality issuesThe last three races I’ve watched (on replay, not live) have had terrible quality most of the time. Considering I’ve for a years pro subscription I’m pretty disappointed in the standard of experience. Bet Verstappen doesn’t have to put up with this!.Version: 2.16.0

Can’t Airplay to TVWould be great if I could use this app to actually watch the race on my tv but anytime I try to use airplay I get error BM2101. This was an issue last year but most of the times I could get it to work. This year I have not been able to stream anything to my TV whether live or pre recorded. Very disappointing to pay $100 a year and not be able to watch the F1 on the big screen..Version: 2.22.1

GarbageGarbage app, not worth the money. Waste of time, thanks for nothing.Version: 2.3.2

AirPlay doesn’t workConstantly disconnects from iPad to tv. Seems to be hit or miss but mostly miss..Version: 2.22.0
