✓ Very Dodgy AvoidSigned up and was asked to deposit funds and download of $100 to claim reward. Deposited $150 in crypto and tried to claim reward. Immediately it flagged up as “security risk” and reward removed. Note everything was absolutely fine until I clicked the claim reward button. This the one and only time I’ve registered with OKex and I would never consider doing so again. Contacted support who told me they have no idea what the security issue was and they cannot correct them. If they cannot handle a simple deposit they cannot be trusted with my trades. I would avoid using completely I have no confidence you will ever get your funds back and they were very keen to tell me they can withhold funds for any reason for as long as they like. I was busy trading on margin and wondering why my referral and other promised bonus money was not credited and later found that it must be claimed. Who told me that I must claim this to receive it??? What's even more infuriating is that the customer service chat conveniently erased all my messages inquiring about the whereabouts of my money. OKX tells you the address was not generated by them yet they take commission for the transfer and their app does not detect that the transfer address is fake. And 1.5 months they just stopped responding to support messages just ignoring. Finally they canceled the withdrawal transaction and fund came back. I suspect this exchange has liquidity problems or has Bernd’s hacked or something therefore they just froze customers funds - how convenient. ✓ Security nightmare.Probably a reasonable app if you stay in one place, but if you switch countries, and phones, it’s a mess of verification methodologies. Even cancelling your old phone number involves a video, a passport a phone call with various questions, and then there’s the change of address farce to go through. Get with the times OKX. Utility bills are paid by the accommodation, some of us don’t have a tax bill, even if we do, it’s from the home country, as can be bank accounts, with the different home address. Passports and resident permits do not have an address, nor do many driving licences. All of this stuff is now done online, there are no paper print outs readily to hand to scan/download and send to for your staff (bots) to fail to find a relevant tick box and reject. I finally managed to change everything and get verified at the third attempt, but now my account is frozen because of “security changes”. There’s no joined up thinking in this process, and they are in desperate need of a decent UX designer to sort out this protracted mess. When you start the app you are asked to log in the you navigate to the demo account look at your bots click the details tab you are then asked to login again, email & password the sliding jigsaw then it asked you to set up Touch ID this happens every time you use the app you are then in the real trading view when you have to go to your account settings and chose demo trading again then chose the details that you wanted to look at 5 minutes ago. Oh and it goes from landscape to portrait mode every now and again. There are other issues too far too many to mention here. Going to try the web site see if that’s any good. After reading other reviews I’m a little reluctant to deposit any funds. Again this is the second biggest crypto exchange so I would expect something better. ✓ Scammers have access to OKX official chatScammers have access to the OKX official telegram group and as soon as you put in a question in the official telegram group you have a minimum of 3-5 scammers posing as OKX customer support. OKX has a very weak security circle and because of that many new users in OKX have lost their money and USDTs. Does not seem like OKX are working into improving their security circle in their chat groups or the scammers directly messaging you in your OKX app. Have been scammed of $100 worth USDT. The result was I no longer can deposit funds into my OKX, as OKX has put restrictions on my account instead of improving their security and blocking scammers having access to their official telegram groups..Version: 6.40.0

I had assets on the platform which I then couldn't trade. The regulator changed its guidance and OKX knew about it and didn't do sufficient to inform customers well enough beforehand. The only way of resolving this was to move the assets off the platform to another exchange. Sure it has better functionality than BitStamp or Coinbase but it needs to operate fairly, transparently and with good customer practice by providing good prior notices..Version: 6.35.1

✓ Scam Be Aware Of Scams Please ReadI want to make everyone who options this app on the advice of any company that professes to be dealing in USDT crypto. If a company try’s to speak with you using What’s App and they say you can earn money by checking apps that are on ISO App Store or on The Play Store please be very careful if they claim that you will be paid in USDT Coins using this OKX App. It is not yet 100% clear to me that this app OKX is involved in the scam but I have to say that there seems to be a very intrinsic link between a company called BAD RHYNO and this app. As far as I can see the con works by getting people like me who have UK bank account and UK driving Licence or Passport to set up accounts with OKX they then ask you to do a task which they pay you in USDT this is then to be sent into OKX and once that clears they then tell you to send those cleared funds back to BADRHYNO and you get nothing. They tell you that you must do this for 5 days before you will receive again in USDT you commission but on the third day they make up an added fee which places you in negative USDT within the BADRHYNO Account and then you are told you must purchase from your own money USDT through this OKX account so that you can continue and then be paid your commission on the 5th day. You will never make it to the 5th day and they continue to say you must buy further USDT with the promises that you will be paid eventually. ✓ Not secure and no customer supportI got scammed buy this app. To send money I have to verify but for someone taking the money from me no verification is needed. When I went to report it there was no one to report to or talk to. I tracked down my money from one site to another when I found it it had left the country and they refused to give it back. Also they never let you transfer money back out. They pretty much were the worst of every part and were completely useless. Never use no matter what. ✓ Great until something goes wrong. Stole moneyI used OKX often and spent a lot of money through their services. Their customer service was good and the app was adept. However, when purchasing USDT, I have a screenshot of a price OKX offered. However the money taken out of my account was $300 more than what I agreed to. After weeks of daily back and forth, OKX admitted it and said a refund will be issued. After more weeks back and forth they denied any mistake. Save your money and go somewhere else.
