✓ Very well put reviewThe app serves its purpose (considering there is no Orbot or Orfox for iOS), however the constant intrusive Ads are extremely frustrating. I understand the desire to profit from ones work, but not to the extent of aggravating customers. If there were alternatives I would surely investigate them. If your ok with ‘2 second Ads’ over the entire GUI (until you ‘X’ out) popping up about every 20-30 seconds, then you can handle this app. But quality is profitable, so the bombardment of Ads leads me to believe the author is desperate, and simply through together something that worked instead of focusing on Tor’s ultimate purpose (anonymity). So it’s probably not a very secure at all. Edit: Although the app serves its purpose you will get a frustrating and disruptive ad ever 10-15 seconds. It will stop your page browsing and stop you from typing anything your typing. It’s an extreme level of forced ads (every 20 seconds? need pennies that bad?)..Version: 1.0.11

✓ One complaintWhen I’m on a site and there is something that I want to open in a new tab for later on every other browser I’ve used I would just hold the things I want and would get the options open, open in new tab, open in background, add to reading list, copy but with this I only get open, add to reading list, copy and I know it’s not the search engine used because the default is duck duck go and I use this engine a lot and it dose have the new tab option other than this it’s good.Version: 2.4.1

✓ One massive problem that ruins the appFor some reason if it shows a site that’s unreachable such as a onion link that’s been taken down it will say page unreachable and the only button on screen that can be pressed is “reload” can’t back off it to go elsewhere so stuck on the same page. Even when closing the app and reopening it it’s still stuck on the same page, please fix this as the app was great until this problem..Version: 1.0.11
✓ Slow, Addful, unreliableCant get over how slow this thing is. It seems to hang constantly. Adds all the time, often multiple before your page has loaded!!?! Crashed, and dumps you out of your session completely. . . Avoid.Version: 1.0.11
✓ Very bad interface and usabilityDownloaded this app hoping it would give me an easy tor experience, was unpleasantly disappointed that the search bar is nigh impossible to use and pasting in an onion/tor url didn’t work even after a dozen attempts. What’s more, the browser seems to only be a trial, and after 7 days it suggested I would have to pay to continue using the browser. In one word: Crap. Sorry, make a search bar that doesn’t delete everything I’ve typed when I tap it, which is what you have to do when you paste on an iPhone, and make it so users can paste urls when there’s nothing in the search bar yet..Version: 1.0.11

✓ Think I need to check fakespot...On these ratings. Less than a minute after installing, I am being prompted for a review. I haven’t even figured out how to start the (bleep) app or move around yet. Two stars docked for (bleep) (bleep) ads every 1m 22s while trying to figure out the app and the settings. That is within the first 10 min. I use ad blockers for a reason. I never ever click on ads, and showing me a vpn ad is a waste of resources. I will do my own research on the vpn I use. Another item...the stupid ad kept my device awake. lucky I wasn’t gone for too long after the sleep time had passed. I might come back and update this review after playing with the program a bit. Hint-don’t annoy people, especially my types, as I guarantee, the rating will be lower. If you have a good product, people will come without having to resort to trickery. Some of us will even pay for a good product. Imagine that!.Version: 1.0.4
✓ Similar to Windows, less functionality so farThe look and feel is similar to that I have on windows. However, the startup page says this is not a tor browser, which I think has to do with iOS devices not being supported yet. I get a lot of 403 forbidden errors and captcha pages when trying to access websites. These along with the ads every few seconds is pretty annoying. Sites also load slow, might be something to address in a future update. The .onion sites don’t seem to be accessible with this browser either. The privacy part I think is good though not positive if it works as expected with not using the app for to long yet. We shall see how this pans out after more time using it. I have to say that this review was sparked by the offer of a free upgrade for leaving it so we’ll see..Version: 1.0.4

✓ Bad App (from my experience)I accidentally downloaded pressing Touch ID when I was re-routed from another app homepage and seeing this as a 17+ site it should have sent a warning before downloading but didn’t which is concerning. I did explore this app for a few minutes to check out this whole “privacy anonymity thing” but I accidentally got re-routed to an onion site (luckily it was just the one for DuckDuckGo I think/hope as it did not fully load) which is not what I wanted. When I opened up my regular web-browser app (which is also DuckDuckGo) I had a notification saying “you cannot enter into this onion site”. This was very concerning as I had only entered into this app briefly just to check out if it was what it was and I somehow got it into ANOTHER app. I deleted and re-downloaded the app to double check as I was panicking and I am pretty sure it was just DuckDuckGo but I honestly am very shocked and am NEVER downloading again. Confused and alarmed..Version: 1.0.11
✓ Reviewing for App UpgradeI have not used the browser yet so I cant say much other than Im leaning towards a rating it spam but I will give it another straightforward review after I try it a while in the Pro version. As soon as I downloaded and opened the app a red gift box appeared while the browser was connecting to tor. Well, the app wasn't loading so I figured it was bc I hadn't clicked on the little gift icon. Upon clicking the “gift”, I was immediately offered a free PRO version of the app if I would give a rating so I dont know what it is I’m supposed to be rating ...but you guys kinda jumped the gun ...either way E for effort! ;).Version: 1.0.4
✓ Great the first dayThe first day I used this, it only occasionally had an ad pop up which I could promptly close. The little circle with the present box, it can be moved around the screen so it was ignorable. The second day I used it, everything I clicked on brought up a 30 second ad, and once the ad was over, The small x to close it was nonresponsive, so I had to hit it about 30 times before the ad closed. Then I would click on something else and once again another 30 second ad. I will never ever use this again. What are you thinking? "Oh they didn't click on an ad the first day so I'm going to barrage them with nonstop ads that last 30 seconds and are extremely hard to close, that'll get people to buy things!" No! What you did is you just lost a user, and you will continue to lose them until you smarten up! I hate this new direction that companies are going in, that think that if people are just annoyed enough they'll buy the thing that is being advertised. Advertisements like this don't work! If anything, it creates contempt toward the advertiser! Not only will I not buy anything advertised, I will get rid of the app generating the ads! ✓ Great app, ads ruinThis would be such a great app if the adds didn’t ruin the experience. I am virtually completely unable to load a webpage anymore. It will sit and load...and load....and then an ad will pop up. Just exit out right? No. Exit out and it screws up the entire way the page loads: the bar fills the rest of the way up immediately and then never actually loads. On the rare occasion the app is actually usable, it works absolutely great. If you can find any kind of way to work around the ads, like stare at it for a little while and exit out of it to see if the page loaded in the background, then great. Other than that, it’s just a crappy experience..Version: 1.0.11

✓ Waste of moneyTried the free version to test if it was okay but ads kept coming thick and fast and couldn’t get as far as opening a web page. Then I foolishly paid for the pro version. Ads went away but every search I tried resulted in a blank page. Then tried typing in web addresses of pages I often visit but once again browser accepts the site address but I still only get a blank page. And it takes a very long time to get to this point. ✓ Sound coming from phone.Every time I open the app there’s a wired noise coming out of the speakers like a fan is running in the phone. Phone overheats after a while and just drains battery. Never experienced such with any other app..Version: 1.2.2

✓ Stuck on blank page. Can't do anything anymoreI tried to load a page that happened to be a dead link. A white page with a construction barrier comes up "THIS SITE IS UNREACHABLE" with only a reload button available. There are no settings or back button. No URL link, no new page button. I stop the app and restart. It goes back to that dead end error page. I restarted my phone, nothing solves this predicament. The only option would be to redownload this app every time I come across a dead site (on Tor, this is basically impossible to avoid) Or I can just move on to a Tor app that doesn't have such a ridiculous flaw. ✓ 100 words reviewI downloaded this app just as test . Needless to say it has lots of ads which puts everyone off. ✓ Unusable, and took my money???Listen, I NEVER write reviews. Ever. But this app is absolutely garbage, and I'm so disappointed. I signed up with the impression I was getting a free trial as it says in the app, but it charges me $3.99. Fine, okay, whatever. But then it doesn't recognize that I paid for the subscription, and offers me a free trial. Fine, I take the bait, transaction goes through. Still adds, still not recognizing I should have a subscription. The same free trial ad pops up, I try and click it one more time just to see, maybe third time's the charm and all, but surpise it actually tells me I have the subscription already! But my app is still full of ads, even with force quitting multiple times and trying the Restore button! Can't use the app without the subscription because the present box icon is non-deletable, and the ads pop up every 30 seconds!! An absolute trash fire..Version: 1.0.11
✓ I was hacked within 5 minutes of using this browserAs per title.... I was on using it when i kept getting pop ups. Tried to close screen without using close button on the pop up but my phone froze, i then noticed that my fb messenger was completely deleted. Tried to reinstall and account not recognised. Created a new account then some randoms photo came up saying they were registered to my phone number... So a factory reset thinks me, kept trying to reset and couldn't as my iCloud password was incorrect. Tried to change password via phone with passcode change. Wouldn't let me. Tried to wipe remotely via iCloud and that didn't work either... had to ring apple support who obviously denied any vulnerabilities existed in the phone since i was running 12.4.1 ios .... Clearly there are more that haven't been discovered by Apple yet. Some of them may be app specific. Like this one.... 🤔.Version: 1.0.13
