I’ve heard it’s not safe to use some personal information while using Tor though, so be careful when using it. Probably not your go to browser for Facebook and even if it’s safe to use social media that could probably defeat the purpose of anonymity. Tor uses tech that works better when more people are browsing through it, so make sure to recommend the app to your friends, coworkers, family, acquaintances, etc. Only complaint is that sometimes it is a little slow. ✓ Great way to get on the torThis app is a great way to get on the tor. Now I know you debs have to make your money somehow, but the ads are a little too often for an easy browse. I usually don't spend long on the tor network but it seems every 20 or 30 seconds an ad pops up and its very annoying especially with the "review me for free upgrade" button always moves itself over the close button for the ad. I would personally just have maybe 1 popup ad and then maybe a banner at the bottom, yes you lose some of the page size but in the long run you don't notice it and it would feel more normal. Also this button to review the app get on my nerves alot! It keeps moving itself to random corners and ignores where I myself move it. Really annoying that. The install of this browser will also allow access to a whole new world of internet sites not available when using popular browsers. The TOR browser is just as easy to use as any other browser although slightly slower due the increased routing necessary for anonymity. As with all browsers, the available speed of you internet connection is mainly determined by other factors, many of which are beyond your control. With more use I hope to find out how to bookmark sites and save info which is not possible on my install. The browser is fast, it takes about 10-20 seconds tops to connect, but once connected, it’s impressively fast. Look no further, the other tor browser in the App Store sells you their vpn service. I use express vpn and I also recommend that. You can connect any three devices at the same time. And install it on as many as you’d like. And if you get a compatible router and configure it, or the one they sell pre configured there is no limit. ✓ GoodI’ll just call this one the Purple Onion Browser, even though a number of Tor clients have a purple icon. This is another option, and is a bit more feature-rich than some other Tor browsers. It defaults to DuckDuckGo for its search engine, which is good, and allows you to quickly change your identify, if you need to. Secret Secure Web Browser seems a bit faster than other options, but still not as quick as connecting through my VPN and using Safari. Yet again, another Tor browser that shows being infected with some sort of Trojan, and thus blacklisted. Secret Secure Web Browser is, in my estimation, a four out of five. I’ve tried a number of other Tor browser clients, and the experience was always the same. Browsing was fine, but slow. For my own purposes, I’m going to stick with my VPN connection and use DuckDuckGo for my search engine. That prevents both my internet service provider from tracking me, as well as my search engine.
