✓ No SKZI got this app bc it said that it could teach me korean w kpop idols (i saw an ad) however i only saw bts most of the time w the exception of a few pther artist. However there were only a few kpop idols and not my ults (stray kids) the app is fine however id like for advertising not to say ‘kpop idols’ when there isnt much content on idols except for BTS (no hate btw i love bts this review isnt about that) I saw like 5 vids on txt, and about >5 of other groups like svt, nwjs, and 2pm..J_ivsuqVersion: 5.2.2

✓ EVERYTHING IS PLUSI really like this app, but recently, Cake has literally made everything PLUS+ only. It is really frustrating because so many people can’t pay 13$ a month for this. I have already completed all the free classes, even the intermediate ones. (I am just a beginner) ON TOP OF THAT, I one day went to my review sentences (sentences that you can save and study later) and it went from 20 sentences to 10!!! 🤬for cake plus it is UNLIMITED. It went from saving 20 to 10 😭. Also if you mess up a question you loose a heart and you get 5. After you loose all those, you have to watch ads to get more. ✓ Update?I don’t know what happened exactly, but I was only two more units away from completing all units. But when I went and checked the app, it said all plus only. Now I can’t access it unless I subscribe to the plus only, which I won’t. I don’t know if it is a glitch or something but I hope they would get rid of that. ✓ Review On CakeHello, this is my honest review on cake after using it for 2 months. Firstly, I was actually really excited to learn with my favourite groups! But then I realised I was just watching these stupid videos like TikTok but educational. They don’t hear you speak and doesn’t have real scenarios to practise in unlike TEUIDA. It does give speaking practise but it doesn’t give adjustment on your level. It is really annoying and I wanted to learn some advanced vocabulary so i can just speak Korean fluently and freely. Second, they charge us and forces people to buy there so called premium that will boost your “learning up to 200%” which sounded great and I decided to buy a one week trail to have a little test with the waters. I just realised all this “PLUS(the app’s premium)” is just a big waste and scams you. It just unlocks a few extra “snacks”, which are videos for you to watch. I hope the developers see this review, well, mostly not because they need to “update” the app..LiSA_100HiVersion: 5.5.1

✓ ReviewI was really excited to try this learning app, but it didn't turn out as great as I hoped. After finishing the first part, I found out I had to pay to continue to the next part. That was a bit unexpected and honestly left me disappointed. Learning should be straightforward and enjoyable, but this added cost made it less appealing. So, I made the decision to delete the app because it did kind of match what I was looking for in a learning experience but having to pay??? It's a bummer because I believe education should be accessible to everyone, and this app didn't quite meet that expectation. I am under 18 and trying to Lear Korean, I don’t think this is very helpful. The app should give more lessons to everyone and not just premium users. ✓ I’m so disappointedI did my first day streak yesterday that I was on for over 1 hour and 30 minutes but then today when I went to use the app, it brought me all the way back to unit 1 (I was on unit 8) and it says that if I want to do the other units I have to pay. I’m so disappointed and frustrated as I thought this was the app I would use for the rest of my Korean studying time but I was wrong. It’s just like every other app, makes you pay after you use it once. ✓ Voice recordingThe app overall is good but the audio receiver can not pick up my recordings when there’s a bit of background noises. It’s frustrating to keep repeating the word over and over again when I clearly enunciated it before. This is the first Korean learning app I had with this problem.
