App not working after updateI’ve been using this app for almost a year and after this last update, I’ve only had issues. My balance is not loading at all and I can’t see my transaction history anymore. Then when I tried making an appointment it keeps saying the servers are backed up and to again in a few minutes. But it’s been saying that for hours already so now how am I supposed to make my future appointments?.Version: 2.1.4

Appointment scheduling app is awfulThis is the second time this has happened. It is very frustrating to the point I might not continue to give. When it is time for my SPE test it takes weeks to come back so I miss 2-3 weeks of giving. This is not good for the donors or receivers. Your lab needs to get its act together. Even worse there is not notification you can’t give till you show up for your appt. So I drive 40 minutes round trip for nothing. You need to get your app to give you this notification when you schedule your appt. If the check in station can do it the app can. And then no one notifies when you can give again. You have to keep calling to keep checking..Version: 2.2.1

Not worth all the timeAside from the app being difficult to navigate, the organization itself is highly unorganized. For being so desperate for people to donate, you would think they would make enrolling a much smoother process. Not to mention they seem to have difficulty staffing facilities. My husband and I spent half a day for our initial appointments only to find that neither of us qualified until AFTER finally seeing the nurse for the physical. He didn’t because he had stents and I didn’t because I have OSA. They said they would need my provider to fill out a form and then fax it back to them. Meanwhile my phone is being blown up with texts and multiple emails asking me to donate yet I can’t even get past the screening process. Literally the only way to bypass all the red tape is to lie ,which ,based on the people that were there donating, was obvious. I would love to help by donating but not for a company that seems to disregard how much of your time they consume for little reimbursement..Version: 2.1.6

The worst app everI would give this app a zero if I could. I have never given such a poor app review, but I have never interfaced with such a problematic app. Here goes: 1. NO CUSTOMER SUPPORT - They suggest “connecting with us online,” which really means liking them on Facebook. There is ZERO app support. Yes, there is a very roundabout way you can give feedback, but it’s quickly followed up with “we don’t work weekends and only work 8am-4pm, so you may not get a quick (any?) response.” I messaged three days ago and have heard nothing. 2. I continue to get an error message when trying to sign up for an appointment through the app. It tells me I have to have a physical because I missed my appointment, except I didn’t. I was there. FOR OVER THREE HOURS. 3. No problem, though, right? Because you can just call the site and they can set an appointment for you. WRONG. I have called nine times and left two messages with all my information and no one has returned my call..Version: 2.1.3

This is a scam!!!!!They advertise all over about Donor900 promo to trick you into downloading this and signing up waste of time. When you type that promo in it just says not available. And calling their location is zero help as the people there have no idea what’s going on. Lady literally told me she doesn’t know anything about the promotions and to go online and read to try and answer my questions. It’s been over 6 years since I’ve been to this joke. And back then it was exactly the same. They offered a bonus for so many donations your first month, only my 3 rd of 8 visits i was paid but not credited the donation towards the bonus because the incompetent nurse kept sticking me until they were not allowed anymore because of collapsing my vein. On top of that when i asked for a different nurse After being stuck 5 times they were extremely rude to me for asking that. The only reason i even entertained the notion of going back to this incompetent disaster was the 900 in a month which turned out to be a lie. I hope this review helps anyone thinking of wasting time signing up like i did..Version: 2.0.6

Poor executionI don’t understand how such a large organization can get an app so wrong. Continuously glitchy, crashes all the time, and It will let you make appointments when you can’t actually donate. I recently had a person call me to tell me that They had to cancel my appointment the next day because for some reason the app scheduled me for a physical when I already had my physical for the year. Why would this even be allowed? Fix the glitches. The center refused to allow me to schedule an appointment, so I am out a donation and bonus…..Version: 2.0.7

Customer service?The first person you see when walking into a business is someone smiling. Not here you don’t. I walked into a blank stare. I said good morning and asked how I should make an appointment since my app wasn’t working. I was told to elaborate more she didn’t understand how my app wasn’t working. I told her my phone has been crazy and I can’t open any apps. She then asked my name said she would make the appointment for me THIS time and THIS time only. Once she pulled me up she told me I needed a physical and she would make that appointment for me. I said thx but didn’t realize and don’t have the time. I said I would come back. I got a blank stare back. Never has anyone been rude here but guess there is a first for everything..Version: 2.1.4

Update Doesn’t WorkEver since the update on Monday nothing has been working. I’ve tried to be patient since before it kept saying there were errors due to high site traffic. After waiting three days it still does not work. It’s now saying “Donor’s Inquiry API Failed” and so I still cannot make an appointment and I don’t even know what the error message means. I tried looking to other reviews to see if the developers have responded with any helpful tips and I saw one where they said to email them if problems persist. I tried to email the address they wrote. It doesn’t work either. It said address not found. I don’t know why they would update a working app to make it completely unusable. I was really hoping they would fix it because I really don’t want to call my center and bug them about it or making appointments, since it’s not those poor workers fault that the developers messed up the app. Please just fix it..Version: 2.1.4

Worst experience everThey need to have actual certified phlebotomist working here rather than students who don’t care about the patients and the damage they are causeing to people, after being stabbed in the muscle because the student wasn’t paying attention this location did nothing to care about the giant purple blood clot that was immediately forming under my arm instead I was told to come back later in the week so I go back 6 days later just to stand in line for 40 minutes and then be told I can’t donate because the damage to my arm looked worse, no accountability here and now I’m left with my time wasted and my arm looking deformed still, not worth the stress and damage there are plenty of other places to donate that care about the patients. New App is garbageFor whatever reason, BioLife decided to update or upgrade their app. I now have the following issues: It doesn’t connect quickly, It logs me out every single time I navigate out of the app (even for a split second), and it doesn’t allow me to schedule appointments further than a week in advance which has caused me to miss appointment days when I drive to the center only to realize that I forgot to schedule an appointment. The app is frustrating as heck. Hopefully they will make some major bug fixes and right this ship..Version: 2.0.3

Poor functioning appAs far as a scheduling app it works fine. Where it falls short is it will not tell you if there’s anything wrong with your appointment schedule, like if you need a physical or any paperwork done. The app will make the appointment but the physical location will not let you donate. It would be nice if the app told you when to schedule a physical. As for bio life plasma as a whole, it is is a poorly operated business that does not care about you or your time. They get way more money for plasma than they offer to pay you, and don’t give two hoots how long you stay at their poorly run facility “donating.” This app is just one deficiency among many..Version: 2.0.7

Why update what wasn’t brokenSo I’ve used this app for nearly a year now with no issues which has been great. I can see what’s on my card, receive my promotions and check them. Plus, I live 45 min from my donation center. It was nice knowing I had an appointment as some of the other closer donation centers don’t do appointments. Now since the update I can’t setup appointments. I was told just to come out on my normal appointment times and see if there’s anything open. Unfortunately that’s a lot of time and gas to risk everytime I want to donate. Really don’t want to but I may need to look at another donation center. Bad injections alwaysIf it ain’t one arm it’s another, and every time i come to the same local Biolife Plasma Service they always mess up something, today i went in, got in a bed, and they ended up missing the vein, and instead puts my blood back and 2 hours gone by just to get nothing out of it, honestly disrespectful and annoying at this point, and it will be one of many other accidental screw ups they had done on me, it makes me almost feel like if i’m treated like a animal and i leave like if nothing happened and just let it slide on them, honestly just disgusting. Now i have both arms in pain because of them..Version: 2.1.6

Getting to be not worth the timeThe longer I donate the less it pays weekly over time. Idk if this is how they roll and you make less and less each week over time or of the company as a whole is paying everyone less and less. I used to donate years ago and they had extra bonuses and incentives. Don’t know if plasma just isn’t needed as much so they don’t pay as much but it’s to the point that isn’t almost not worth the time. It used to be a great way to make a quick buck but it’s more like a quick way to make a few cents. Life has gotten so expensive it doesn’t compare..Version: 2.2.2

Rewards Program just doesn’t work..I’ve recently signed up for the rewards plan a month ago while completing regular appointments; thus increasing my points past the 1200 mark. I should be more than eligible to submit those points for any rewards, but it’s been having a “technical issue” ever since I’ve signed up for it. I’ve constantly been asking their “contact us” forum (which was basically no help) and I get the same response; “we’re sorry, we’re working on resolving the issue etc.” I’m just trying to submit my points. Horrible registrationTried signing up on the app. Went through filled out all the information. When I went to log in as a current donor I needed a “user name” which they didn’t have me fill out so I tried going back and filling out all the information as a new donor and it said that information is already registered. It is absolutely horrible. This app looks like it has some serious issues. If they really cared about saving lives they might want to fix the first step in the process of making that happen..Version: 2.1.6

You have to sign in EVERY TIME!!So the biggest problem with the old app was you kept having to sign out and sign back in as “current donor” every time. When they came out with the new app I was like, ahh yes finally they fixed it. Then I discovered no they didn’t. Even worse at least the old one knew who I was and I just had to have it scan my face. Now I have to enter my email and password every time! What was this update for? If it was to make the font so small so that people with bad eyes can’t read it you mission accomplished! I see what they were going for a sleeker cleaner design but all you’ve done is make it look sterile and complicated like an old windows operating system written in Linux. It’s such a simple app how can you get this wrong?? Who are you paying to make this for you cause you’re paying the wrong people, and most likely paying waaaayyyy too much. Especially for the work they are doing cause they are failing terribly..Version: 2.0.3

Tech People are terribleI started donating with BioLife almost 5 years ago. I left 2 years ago and went to another company for the sole purpose of their app always having issues. In the two years I donated for the different company, never had an issue. Out of driving convenience, I decided to come back to BioLife. I did my physical today and cannot schedule another appointment because their app is down….. AGAIN!!! Clearly the company is not going to invest in half decent tech people. Save yourself the headaches and frustrations and go with another company if there’s one available in your area..Version: 2.1.4

Stick to the websiteThis app is full of glitches and problems. I logged in, and 5 minutes later the app logged me out for seemingly no reason. When I attempted to log back in using the exact same login info - the app claimed “incorrect information.” When I attempted to reset my password, it immediately told me “too many requests, error.” My buddy has also tried using the app in the past to no avail. He never could even get past the login stage, as the app would claim he was using incorrect information for login. Also, even after logging in, this app is BARE. BONES. There is hardly anything to do besides schedule an appointment, and see what appointments you have upcoming. The “promotions” tab also showed nothing, and all the supposed links on the initial screen don’t work. Again, stick to the website. This app isn’t worth the effort or time.Version: 2.0.3

App is frustratingYou can schedule days weeks out but can not see your upcoming appointments. Only the very next one. If I want to change my 2nd appointment for the week I have to cancel my 1st listed one in order to see my 2nd one and change it then go back and reschedule my 1st one which is usually taken by then. Also would like to see what’s Ava on other days even if I’m already scheduled so that I know if canceling to change my time is worth it but it won’t show availability. It just says I’m already scheduled that day or can not schedule bc I’m scheduled for 2 days already. Would be Vince to see what’s available and be able to change if needed..Version: 2.1.5

HorribleAs of this week the app has been incredibly glitchy. I couldn’t log in for several days, and kept getting a message saying they were experiencing “high traffic and to try again”. Then I was finally able to get in my balance would load it just kept saying balance “unavailable”. Try and schedule an appointment and it’s said “Donor’s inquiry API failed”. My promotions aren’t showing anymore it says to schedule to start but the October one was already started. Already difficult to get an appointment now it’s impossible because I can’t even see what’s available..Version: 2.1.4

Boarderline uselessI am a new donor. I’ve gone three times. The app interface is fine and it responds well. However, the only thing I can do with relative ease is schedule an appointment. I’ve been registered for over three weeks and it still does not reflect my payment history, my donation history and it somehow still thinks I’m a new donor so every appointment is done as if I need the physical too. Can’t refer anyone easily. The one benefit I get is being able to sign in with face ID so access is easy..Version: 2.1.4

Horrible appI clicked on a newcomer promotion coupon but was too busy to use any of it. So after a couple of months I went to click the next newcomer promotion coupon and it said I was no longer eligible even though I never stepped foot into a biolife. No matter what I did I couldn’t intuitively get rid on it. Annoying! One of the reasons I never got around to making an appt was because it had my location set for a certain Biolife building but I didnt want to use that one. And it would NOT let me change locations no matter what! So you could only make an appt at the Biolife you have already. Forget about changing locations online. What is this 1990? Losing my mindThis app and the website is driving me insane. I registered online to be a new donor. I donated for the first time on 2/9 and had the required physical. The next day, I received a text message saying I missed my appointment and could reschedule. I activated my payment card and it showed I successfully donated and was paid for the donation. The app and website both said I never had any previous appointments and I still need a physical+donation appointment. I called the center and submitted a “Contact Us” form on the BioLife webpage. Nobody ever picked up the phone or returned my calls after leaving multiple voicemails. Never got a response for the contact form either. I brought this issue up to the employees at my second appointment and one employee “merged” my accounts, apparently, so it “should be working”. I’m on my FOURTH donation now and the app and website both say I’ve never had any previous appointments, still need a physical, and cannot schedule any other type of appointment. All I want is for the app and website to recognize that I’ve been to at least one appointment so I can schedule normally. This is so irritating..Version: 2.2.2

HorribleYou guys need to do some serious work on your app and website. I literally can never login because it says bad credentials every time. I have reset the password so many times just to try to get it to let me in and it’s ridiculous. How can you expect people to make appointments to donate when we can’t log in and then people don’t answer the phone at the facility. It’s not even all about money. You have a failed system and someone needs to fix it. For a business that’s all about saving lives, you seriously lack in the department of making it easy for people like me to help..Version: 2.1.2

Won’t let me register or log inI’m a new donor, I just did a walking to give plasma. I went on the site to register with the email I provided the center and it won’t complete the process it just gives me error msg over and over again. I used a different email with my donor information and it allowed me to register but it starts the whole process I just went through at the center. So I logged out and tried to log back in with the second email I used to start registration and now it said that this email isn’t in the system either. So now it doesn’t recognize both emails, won’t let me get past login or registration to make my follow up appt #2. Now what? I walked in to the center the first time because it would get past registration on the website or app..Version: 2.1.3

Customer serviceMy son donated September 23 only not to receive the bonus for his sixth donation then upon ask why not he was told by a manager that the fliers had expired when pointed out to her to show where on the fliers that it had expired she began to get loud on the phone so I proceeded to ask the young lady what was her name so I knew whom I spoke too so am aware of what we spoke about and her response was no in a unprofessional manner !!why do these companies don’t properly trained there individual in how to deal with the general public am so upset that I told my so we will not return there anymore.Version: 2.1.8

Trash promotionsI used to get promotions for $500 when returning to donate over the course of 6 donations. Now they’ve been trying to get me to come back for $340 over 6 donations. I barely felt it was worth the hassle of changing how I eat and drink to get the $500 but now you won’t even send me that offer anymore. If you keep donating without and offer their greedy guts will pump you dry for the equivalent of some trash they found on the sidewalk as payment. That’s how low they pay people. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve donated and seen my hands be dry and cracked afterward not to mention I used to donate up to 640ML and now they are taking 890 from me but want to pay me so much less???? Go f*#£ yourselves…..Version: 2.1.2

Appointments mean nothingThe problem with this is that appointments mean nothing. You set an appointment, but 100 other people did at the time as well. 3 hour waits are normal. Defeats the point of “scheduling an appointment”. ^^^^^ And they seemingly randomly don’t allow you to schedule appointments. I know there’s not many people there in the morning, but they block you out from that so fast. But yet you can still schedule at 7:30 when tons of people are there and coming in. So it’s next to impossible for me to donate twice a week when I can only schedule an appointment one at a time, and on that short notice I can’t get a spot in the morning. ^^^^^ And I’m confused why it even blocks you out of scheduling at that time when less people are there than at other times that you can schedule. ^^^^^ It’s just a tremendously packed place at this location, would love to be able to come in and get it done but this confusing method of “scheduling appointments” that assumes you have all the free time in the world is very oddly done. Log in and Facial RecognitionI’ve been donating plasma for some time. My only frustration is scheduling plasma appointments. You have to log in using your email address and password EACH TIME you want to schedule an appointment. With the latest Biolife app update you were supposed to be able to set up facial recognition which would make it so much easier to schedule appointments. I’ve logged into the Biolife app but can’t figure out the facial recognition option in the app. Am I missing something? Fixing this problem would make so many donors that much happier. No help AT ALL!!An app and it’s updates are supposed to make things easier. This piece of crap does none of that and actually makes it harder for you to donate. The redesign took away the ability to log on with your specific fingerprint and wants you to put in your user name (which can easily be stolen) every time you need to open the app. It doesn’t provide expiration dates for coupons, it notifies you that you have an opportunity to increase a payout, then disappears when you try to redeem the offer. For all who use this terrible app...KEEP TRACK OF YOUR MONEY, TAKE PHOTOS FOR PROOF AND DO MOT TRUST IT!!!.Version: 2.0.3

MaddeningNegative ten stars if possible. Whoever is in charge of online accounts should be fired to never get gainful employment again! It truly is insane that a company can totally ignore their clients, no matter how many messages they send, and never, after months and months, even remotely address the issues to logging into my account. It calls into serious question just how safe they are from a medical standpoint, when with endless amounts of time they can’t solve this one small issue, nor do they EVER respond to emails. It’s abusive of employees, who are already overworked, to demand they schedule all appointments over the phone, when this issue should have been resolved long ago..Version: 2.0.3

Potential donorNever again will I put myself through the stress of trying to donate at this place. Twice now I have been there trying to donate and both times were a complete waste of time. The first time, my blood pressure was a bit high, so I got on BP med and returned over a month later and it was fine. This time I was turned away for slight psoriasis on my elbows, which was there before, and is a thing I’ve had for 45 yrs. I have worked in the medical field for 40+ years, including surgery, and never had an issue. I have donated blood and plasma my entire adult life as I’m O negative. I will gladly return to my previous labs as I was treated with much more respect. Most of your equipment wouldn’t work and your nurse was awful!! Worst experience I’ve been through in a long time!.Version: 2.1.3

Can’t log inI haven’t been able to log into my account for days. I’ve reached out to the website directly, and the Facebook page with no response. Today there was an ‘update’ on the app. I deleted it and downloaded it again with the issue still happening on the app and website. I donated for the first time last week and had an appointment this past weekend scheduled. I needed to reschedule it, couldn’t log on, opted to cancel through the text reminder and it said in response it couldn’t find my appointment. The system has been so messed up I didn’t want to take the chance payment would not work because I’ve seen complaints about payouts before. I am trying to complete the $1000 sign on bonus but they are making it literally impossible as I still can’t schedule and have continually been met with an error message with [4]. The least they could do is extend the bonus timeframe because of this ongoing issue..Version: 2.0.3

The latest update is HORRIBLE!The app worked fine before the latest update. Now it doesn’t work at all! Also, the location in schertz Texas NEVER answers the phone. It’s ridiculous. It rings and rings then you’re routed to voicemail. Don’t bother leaving a message because you will NOT get a call back. The payouts should be more consistent and equal. I live out of town and if the first donation of the week is only $20 that doesn’t even pay for my gas to get there to donate. So that alone will keep me from donating even one time a week, much less twice. I have complained about the pay structure through several surveys but it hasn’t done any good..Version: 2.1.4

Christine PachecoThis existing app for users to sign up for blood donation during such critical time is counter productive. I tried no less than 7 to 10 times to load and reload app. It closed me out. In one segment to see prior account, in another it says I’m already in the system. I had a previous married name so I went down to BioLife stood in line to talk to someone. They reset my account said it was working. Came home to get back into the app now it says my emails not a working email in the system. I tried Bio Life. I tried calling several times no bodies to answer calls. Automated system only. My husband tried loading the app today it closed him out when he was adding his data. Glitchy Now it wants a nick name to send revue I’m on my 4th attempt says my names taken. Lol omg.Version: 2.1.0

AppointmentsThe appointment calendar was better the old way. At least it was on my iPhone. If I make say 5 appointments, I can’t see where I made them if I come back into the app unless I click on the date again one at a time. Being able to see the whole month to schedule your appointment was much nicer. In the end it doesn’t really matter because the line to get tested is usually a half hour, then you wait in another line a half hour to get a chair, then you wait again for them to catch up and stick a needle in you. My scheduled last appointment took 2 hours to complete. I only need 45 minutes to give plasma so the rest is all waiting. Why even have an appointment? Must be like the airlines and overbook seats. This was in the Onalaska Wisconsin location. Now that I have completed my promotional coupon, I am done. I would consider going more but wait time is just terrible..Version: 2.1.4

Horrible customer serviceI walked in and did my spee test and wait 2 week never heard anything from then when they are supposed to call you and advise you if it was low good or if you need to retake it, but didn’t then I came in to find out what was going on and they told me they lost it, but nobody ever reached out to me and said anything so now I had to do it again wait another two weeks and still nobody knows what’s going on absolutely worth place. I’ve ever been Work customer service, and I would never refer anyone to these company.Version: 2.1.7

INCORRECT/INACCURATE PAYOUTSOkay, first of all, I’m writing this on behalf of my fiancée (as I have a medical condition that disqualifies me from donating), who is currently blood-red in the face and in tears trying to solve this issue inside a BioLofe facility. Today, he was supposed to receive a $240 payout for his donation after 1-2 weeks of tiny payouts, and he has just received merely $20. During the last promo he had, there was a time that he was supposed to receive $60 but instead only got $40, and then the $20 he didn’t receive was added at his next donation. WE CANNOT DO THIS; WE HAVE BILLS, WE NEED OUR MONEY WHEN WE ARE TOLD WE WILL GET IT BECAUSE THAT’S KINDA HOW PEOPLE PLAN TO LIVE THEIR LIVES. I don’t know if this is an app issue, or a company issue, but PLEASE, for the LOVE OF ALL THAT IS RIGHT IN THE WORLD (which isn’t MUCH anymore, might I add) — FIX THE ACCURACY OF YOUR PAYOUTS!.Version: 2.1.1

Why?Why on earth do I have to keep logging in manually now? They could’ve at least made it so that it would save your email so that you don’t have to type it in every single time. What’s more, periodically, I guess the app decides your password is no longer valid? I’ll use the same password and email for a while, then have to do a password reset to make anything work until the app again later decides that password is no longer valid. Also, “you can’t re-use the same password” means I have to keep coming up with new passwords all the time, which is really annoying. Why is this app so bad?.Version: 2.0.3
