✓ Don’t buyWe upgraded and paid $200 usd so our kids could play the junior course. But they rotated it out and told us we have to pay an extra $600 usd to get it. It’s just plain extortion and discriminatory as all the other 96 courses are to long..MartyNzlVersion: 1.11.1

✓ Falls Short for $300 a yearThere are several quirks and shortcomings that make E6 connect not worth $300 a year. 1.) You can not have a custom set of clubs. You are stuck with Driver, 3 & 5 wood, 4 hybrid, 4-9 iron, PW, GW, SW, putter. My clubs are Driver, 5 wood, 3-5 hybrid, 6-9 iron, PW, GW, 56 & 60 degree, putter. This makes using the driving range to get data on your bag of clubs impossible. So I don’t use the driving range. 2.) Sand shots are a joke. You have to hit them like a regular chip shot and then they aren’t predictable. The same swing might go twice as far as the last time. It’s frustrating. 3.) Putting isn’t even worth it. It’s extremely difficult to guess what 50, 30, 20 feet is in a virtual setting. I’d prefer having the option of having a chipping target like some programs offer, instead of putting. 4.) Changing your aiming direct is incredibly problematic. Point the arrow in the direction you want isn’t that bad, but trying to determine a layup yardage past 100 yards is unbearably finicky. The target post move of the screen after 100 yards and to try and control it you have to roll your finger tip to keep the target post from flying off the screen. It’s ridiculous. 5.) I’ve played 4 rounds and had two of them completely crash on the back nine. The app just closes. The game is gone and you can’t resume. ✓ Signing-in is “Glitcky”First time I used it was ok. Was a little disappointed in the lack of Matt or ball contact feel. Then came back for more practice and the Apple auto sign on feature wouldn’t work. When I manually signed in it crashed because it connected the blue tooth club. ✓ Video resolution on iOS needs updatedI have a Garmin R10 and a current generation iPad and enjoy playing courses on E6Connect however the video resolution could use an update. ✓ InconsistentI want to love the app, because when it works, the mobility and handiness of it is great. But it’s always a crapshoot as to if the app will work after the latest update. ✓ Ummm...I guess it could be worse?I got a license for use with my Flightscope Mevo+. The ability to have 5 courses and a lot of different practice settings is nice, and I think it will actually help keep my game up during the winter. The courses each offer something unique for a playing experience. The graphics are passable on my Apple devices. However, I have a feeling the quality will be grainy and unappetizing if/when I set up a projector. Now for the ugh! This thing needs A LOT of love to usable. 1. The load times are agonizing. I mean terrible. I think dial-up internet was faster than this app. 2. The “keep me logged in” function doesn’t actually keep you logged in. This leads to even more time having to login constantly. Of course Touch or FaceID aren’t options to speed that up on iOS devices. 3. For Mevo+ users, login to E6 first, then pair your Mevo, then go back to E6. This trial and error took way to long to figure out. I know I’m not alone with some of these complaints. Hopefully, it lights a fire for a fix..Drumguy87Version: 1.4.3

✓ Memo plus 6 courseThe software that is included on the mevo plus needs to be tweaked. Once a round it gets stuck in rocks or a poor lie and you can’t get out. Other times it’s not consistent where it drops the ball after you go in water. I’m not going to upgrade my subscription if they can’t figure just 6 courses out..ElkomspVersion: 1.11.1

✓ To hard to log inLove the graphics when I can get logged in, but I don’t use it to many obstacles to get logged in, sometimes I don’t have internet connection in my garage or weak connection, then E6 doesn’t like me to use SkyTrak in direct connect mode. ✓ Inferior to Awesome GolfI came in with high hopes of a photorealistic experience with better simulation than awesome golf. This half-delivered. The graphics were the best an iPad could do and the picture was just difficult to read. The simulation experience was more "real" than awesome golf (ball bounces, etc.) but it didn't translate to being fun. Both my friend and I agreed, this just kept getting worse hole after hole. ✓ TruGolf mini userI use e6 connect w my TruGolf mini trainer. At first I was impressed with the low-cost home sim/ trainer. The hardware all seems good quality for the price. App was fairly easy to setup and connect. My issue is with the consistency… yardage and statistics are all over the map the more I use this. I’m a single digit handicap with a repeatable golf swing. The numbers I’m getting here are significantly different than what I’m seeing on trackman and on the course. Worse than that is having each shot sometimes measure so drastically different. If you’re playing the sim, it’s really frustrating. And if you’re practicing, it’s going to be difficult to know that you’re on the right track. Two identical swings should not be 30 mph swing speed difference… happening frequently during sim play. Or hitting it 50 yards left when you’re holding off for a little fade. Party mode and boost don’t seem to be helping in sim mode… at least not enough to make it enjoyable..HaskeFore4Version: 1.11.1

✓ InconsistentThe app needs some improvements. Driver readings are very inconsistent. One drive will go 130 yards and another will go 300 yards. My worst swing with the driver on a real course goes much further than 130 yards. To put it into perspective my gap wedge averages 120 yards out on a real course. ✓ Pretty fun but the in game voice is annoying.Wish there was a way to disable the voice that announces the yardage before each shot. It is a robotic, monotone voice that is annoying. I wouldn't mind it if it was in real life where there are minutes in between each shot, but when you are hearing it every 15-30 seconds, it will take a toll on your sanity. ✓ A little JV as an appThe app is basically just a pc screen scaled down.. That means if you're using an IPhone, this is virtually unusable.. I have Garmin R10 and like to set it up at the range and do a virtual round instead of fighting for a tee time. The screen is too dark (cause you can't turn settings down), the numbers are Tiny, and the touch screen is just difficult. Should redo the whole iPhone interface so it looks like it was created in the last 5 years. This is what apps looked like in 2010. ✓ They ought to rename it E6 DisconnectGot this software with my Mevo Plus, which I use with an iPad Pro. In my mind, I just assumed that once I had the app and the device, I would open the app, turn on the Mevo, and play golf. Nope. That’s not how it works. What happens is an unclickable warning flashes in the upper left that says “Device not connected.” Again, not clickable, so very unhelpful. So, you then click through EVERY LINK IN THE APP looking for anything helpful like “connect to device.” Nope! Nada! You can’t make this stuff up. Connecting to a device it’s supposedly made to work with is an action that is COMPLETELY MISSING FROM THE APP. So you close the app, turn off the device. Turn on the device, open the app. Move the device closer, spin the device in circles, turn it upside down... nothing. I finally resorted to just using the FS app for practice, after which I checked the E6 software and Voila! It was magically connected. So, I tried it out. Distance to target in metric, no problem, think I, SURELY they can’t screw up how to change that! Well, yes they sure can! When you go to Settings> Measurement there is a super helpful drop down titled “Unused” that DOESN’T DROP DOWN. So, metric only, because that field is “unused,” whatever in the world that means. So if you were hoping to get this app, and turn on you Mevo Plus and play golf in, you know, yards, then GOOD LUCK!.D SherwinVersion: 1.7.3

✓ Does not work well with Garmin Approach R10I bought the app in January. Continuously froze up, missed shots, long delays until it showed the shot and often had to be rebooted. I ran it on a newer IPAD that meets all of the specs. When I disconnected the e6 app and connected the Garmin app the device worked fine. I called Garmin they said to talk to e6. I called e6 and they said there is nothing they can do about it, they suggested I buy their tracking device and they are unable to refund my money. They said I need to get refunded through Apple. I filled out the Apple refund/issue ticket for the App Store and they continue to decline my refund and apologizing. I tried to make this work for weeks and in the end I sold the Garmin and bought a skytrak. I called e6 to see if they can transfer their software license to skytrak and they said no. They told me to get a refund through the App Store. Unbelievable waste of $300. Trugolf e6 and the App Store should be ashamed of themselves for selling software that does not work well at all. I never write reviews but this one is worth telling others so you do not waste your money. ✓ Annoying!!Don’t know about other launch monitors but with SkyTrak, they need to rename it E6 Disconnect!! This software is so annoying with disconnects, random hits on it’s own and not reading shots at all. I know it’s not my Wi-Fi because I never have these problems with WGT or Skytraks own software. The R10 works perfectly with the Garmin Golf app but does not work with the E6 app. The R10 disconnects from E6 after every shot. Despite going through troubleshooting with support and being assured the new version of E6 would fix the problem, when it didn’t fix the problem support basically wiped their hands of it and said its a Garmin fault..RippplessVersion: 1.10.9

✓ Don’t Use with SkytrakTerrible. Use PC or get something else. 1) If you are using iOS with iPad or iPhone, it will kill your battery. I have a brand new iPad and I can barely play a round with two players on 100% battery. You must need a computer to use this software to make sure you get through a round. 2) iPads don’t allow you to charge your iPad while using the app. 3) It will stop registering during a round for no reason. I can connect via the skytrak and use it’s apps but for some reason e6 doesn’t want to work from time to time. ✓ So much potentialE6 obviously has fantastic graphics on PC but little appears to have been done to optimise and take full advantage of the various modern capabilities of the modern iOS Apple hardware offering Feels like this is running on my GameGear back in 1992 E6 know Mevo Plus owners are getting this for free and paying nothing so little to be recouped in terms of dev costs. The subscription users are paying for their PC hardware with this as a bonus I guess. Shame they don’t make it decent and offer a reduced subscription to use it - that said, even if it was a quarter of the cost of the full PC version subscription it’d still be a rip off You’re better off with GSPro for PC with a proper golf sim. Unfortunately nothing good exists yet for iOS except maybe Awesome Golf who are great but they don’t really fit into the realistic sim space.MultiplyliveVersion: 1.11.1

✓ Triple BogeyI’m pretty sure my SNES had better graphics than this.... I would NEVER pay for it... it came with my Mevo+ so it’s all good but you need to add custom clubs for the range and “keep me logged in” ACTUALLY keep you logged in.
