✓ Need anger management after using this app!Remember those children’s story books that ask incredibly obvious questions like “Who is holding the red apple? Is it Jane or Peter?” Imagine that, but make it an app where you have to press ‘Jane’ or ‘Peter’ before it allows you to the next page. Then imagine the apple isn’t red but it is clearly yellow and orange. But you need to move to the next page and so you have to press ‘Jane’ even though the statement is completely false. Finally imagine a constant banner at the bottom indicating you have a new message. Which turns out only to be a ‘upgrade now’ message for an app you’ve already paid for. ✓ AssumptionsI’m not quite sure I understand why this app has a section titled “Heal Your Childhood Trauma” with a focus on Confidence & how the lack thereof is attributed to “over-demanding parents….[that] were constantly in your back…[and] put a lot of pressure on you to succeed.” The chapter goes on affirm that “parents want the best for their children…and can become overbearing” because they (the parents) “don’t know how to act.” This really, really annoyed me because having parents that care about you and put stress on you to succeed is the literal dream of children who grow up with truly abusive parents. It’s ridiculous that we are calling parents that seek to help their children succeed “traumatizing.” That’s not trauma. Trauma is the physiological reaction that occurs after a traumatic event, or series of traumatic events, leaving long term effects that cripple the wounded carrier of the trauma. Your parents telling you to spend your free time studying may be annoying, but it is *not* traumatizing. The idea of that being traumatizing almost felt like an insult but it’s actually just laughable. Although I held out hope for this app, the inappropriate mislabeling of “trauma” and subsequent blaming of parents that are well-meaning is just disgraceful. A focus on abuse would absolutely be an appropriate emphasis for a chapter on childhood trauma & the lack of confidence it imposes..Version: 6.51.2

✓ Specifically for womenAfter using this app for several weeks now it has become clear that this app is intended for women specifically. Many of the courses and articles speak only to women and do not appear to be intended for men, which is very disappointing. The breathwork section is not gender specific but is also VERY basic. The sleep sounds section is cool but needs more sounds to try. The bedtime stories section only has three stories so it's okay for the first few days but that's it. I don't follow the plan page really anymore especially since I had to stop the last course I was taking after a couple of days when I realized it was gender specific. We'll see how long I keep using this app, especially since I already have a Mindvalley membership that offers all of these things and more and isn't gender specific. Update: Since the developers are not going to be honest about the content and intended audience I will just clarify. I completed tho courses on the app and both of them had sections asking you to "focus on your womanhood" or to "concentrate on your feminine energy" and st least one article it suggested was something about "habits of successful women". Apparently they want you to believe that those sorts of articles are "good resources" for men. I disagree. ✓ What Just Happened??I downloaded this app today and skipped all of the bells and whistles pop up pages that happen upon opening some apps for the first time. I never clicked on any subscription option, but I’m not sure if I “signed up” just by downloading the app or not. I immediately contacted the help desk according to the instructions and have gotten a auto-response. My apple account is not showing any pending subscriptions, so maybe I wasn’t enrolled. A mental health app that offers for you to “take the test” to find out your childhood traumas with a Rorschach type image and when you click, install and sign up - to take the test, there’s no test to take. Tracking calories is tedious in this app because it does not allow you to save your food nutrition facts separately it all compiled with other people’s. I will give kudos to the creator for the thoroughness of the analysis questions. It really felt like they were trying to understand me and my needs, and this gave me hope that the rest of the experience would be this good. I figured there was some way to close this, but when I looked I realized the only way to use the app is to pay for it. ✓ ⚠️DON’T TOUCH THIS APP!!! Sly Scam.Awful people. It’s starts from the moment you go onto the app. Don’t. 1. They say it’s a free trial until you’d like to pay for their premium subscription. Ofcourse, they’ll charge you after the 7 days. No where does it say it will continue into their monthly premium subscription after your 7-days free trial. ⚠️ It’s not a monthly subscription. They will charge you multiple times even in the same week. They will disguise this as add-on to the service you’re getting. (You don’t get these either- and you definitely never authorise anything through the app or website but they charge you as though you do) 2. Legitimate websites can ask for your account details before a full subscription is paid for. These awful people use legit means to take money from you and they cover it through legit methods. You just need to stay calm (how ironic) and go through the disputes- be helpful to your bank and ask them for help properly. 3. You can’t unsubscribe through your Apple ID because it’s not a subscription like Netflix or Disney plus. They go through your bank, using recurring payments made to look like you happily signed up to keep paying for their services (which you do not get at all!!) this means that your bank will think you owe this company legit money so they let them take your money. (You should raise transaction disputes with your bank and ask them to block any future payments made to these people in future.) 4. Why not just unsubscribe? - Their ‘help’ feature on the app gives you the pretend option to “cancel subscription”. Clicking on that will get you an error message saying “oops you don’t have an active auto-renewing subscription”. (Not technically true) They are able to charge you because of the type of transaction they’ve set up for you. (It’s what legit merchants or organisations would use, eg/ a gym membership) my account has been sent to overdraft a couple of times because they will deduct money as through you owe them debt - so even if you have no money in that account it will go out of any linked account. ⚠️ Please spare yourself by not downloading this app OR if you have, please go through the dispute process. Talk to your bank. 5. Their website has no clear login button where you can go on to an unsubscribe. If you ever find the “log in” it will not let you go through. They will say you have entered the incorrect password (LOL I used a saved auto-generated password at sign up) if you try to reset your password with your email. They’ll send an email saying “hope that was you trying to log in, but we’re not able to give a new password because we don’t recognise this email” in other words you can’t have access to the stop payments/ cancel subscription feature they say is on their website because they block you from ever getting back in. 6. If they take you through the email threads saying they’ll help you, they ofcourse will not respond to your emails but send auto-replies to make it look like they’re following up your request. 7. Do not think that deleting the app, clicking on unsubscribe to these emails means stopping them. It only means you will have no idea that they’re the ones taking out 2 to 3 monthly subscriptions per month via your bank. 8. What if you cancel you card and issue a new one? Nothing changes. The unauthorised payments will move from your old card to your new one because of the type of payment these awful people have set up, they will be treated like a regular legitimate business by the bank. Talk to your bank. Tell them that you think you might be a victim of a subscription scam. The bank will understand. Tell the bank that these people give you no way to leave and tell your bank you really don’t receive the services etc. Don’t be scared of them and don’t give up. Awful people. Apple Store needs to delete these people. 9. They try to hide their app amongst other similar apps when you try to find them to make a review like I have- by making it as obscure as the AppStore will allow (having no photos on the search page, making it lost amongst the other apps by them and other people) 10. Because of the many people it happens to, they won’t be sad to have 1 or 2 people find out. They can just keep it going with more and new people.
