✓ Terrible AppI don’t know how this app allegedly has 4.8 stars in reviews. This app is absolutely garbage. Right off the bat when I opened the app it kept crashing as I was trying to set up my account and then when I finally got my profile set up enough to search for jobs it said there were no jobs in my area for my allied healthcare position. I know this is inaccurate because there are multiple posts from employers looking for MAs on other job search websites. ✓ Basically uselessI can't speak to this app's efficacy for RNs, but if you're a pharmacy tech, don't waste your time. Most of the job postings are from agencies you've never heard of, with recruiters who might respond within a week or might just never respond at all. In some cases, a recruiter will reach out to you and ask you for all the information that could easily be found in the resume you already uploaded, i.e. "how many years of experience do you have?" or "Are you nationally certified/which state are you registered in?" The app itself is glitchy, as another review mentioned, a job will post as new and then you look at it and it’s already filled. Based on how slow moving these recruiters are, I doubt they filled it that quickly. Also, when you mark yourself as interested in a job, it doesn’t show that you’ve already marked it in the job listings. So I’d end up marking my interest on the same job several times without realizing it. I spent a little over 2 months constantly checking this app, actively looking for a job. When I finally gave up and applied directly to a better agency, I had a contract in less than a week. It’s very disappointing that a healthcare service can be this lacking in the year 2022. ✓ Scam. Bait and switchCatfished twice. Applied for a travel nurse position. Was quoted a weekly rate, after fully applying and allowing reference checks the rate dropped almost in half. Was told by a recruiter that the rate was accidentally listed higher than it should have been by Vivian. Ok we are all human things happen. Few days later I applied again through the Vivian app with another travel nurse company. Same thing, was quoted a specific rate, verified before completing application and reference checks. ✓ Bait and switchAgencies leave their highest paying contracts open. When you express interest, they offer you a “different” position at the same institution for $400- $500 a week less because the position you wanted is taken. 2 weeks later the same job is still posted as open. Brook Johnson w/ Healthcare support actually blocked me after I told her to stop messaging me if she was going to help. ✓ Terrible appI’m honestly not sure why anyone would bother with this. You have to input all your information in the app and all it does is show you other recruiter jobs. Then their system doesn’t work with any of the recruiters, so for every job you have to fill out another application and have your references verified all over again. ✓ RNThe Vivian app is pretty easy to navigate, it’s just frustrating when a job is still posted after a position has been filled. You’ll confirm interest for a job and it’ll be the same job that has been filled by someone else from prior months. Not sure if this is a Vivian app issue or the agency that’s posting it. ✓ Don’t waste your timeI’ve spent 2 months on this app with no luck. Recruiters do not contact back. Was told a job was interested in me. Waited over a week for a call but no call. Then job was gone. Applied to several different locations with no response except for one. I got a response for a job opening and was told the hospital would be calling me. Followed up multiple times throughout the week with my recruiter and was told “to let him do his job” yet no progress was ever made. ✓ RespondingThis is the worst app. I receive messages I can’t read sometimes because app simply doesn’t open. Then if it does I don’t get all the messages. It’s a waste of time. I’d rather be contacted directly by my personal email and not this app. I probably missed out on a lot of good opportunities. Since I am a first time traveler I can’t afford that. Also if this is the way apps work and I HAVE to use them with travel nursing then I’m out. ✓ Horrible recruitersSo they have called me about jobs and asked about experience, I have over a year in phlebotomy and that’s what I’ve been applying for. They basically told me I need to find hospital experience even though that’s LITERALLY what I said I’ve been doing OVER A YEAR. And the guy told me he doesn’t know what a phlebotomist does and can recruit me to a whole other agency. Waste of my time tbh. ✓ RNI keep being contacted about jobs, my profile is up to date. Some of the job descriptions don't list the years of experience required. I spent all the time taking the exams just to be told "sorry you don't have the 2 years experience the client is looking for". This is absolutely unprofessional and just all around bad for business. ✓ Helpful, but needs improvementDefinitely helpful to see going rates and jobs with various travel agencies. However, I’m finding that if you are looking for high paying listings there has been quite a few bait and switches. Where you are lured in you give all your info to get the job and after the original listing is no longer available or their rate has decreased.
